I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15IKB (80XL02T0RA) doesn't turns on and off by power button.BIOS Version 4WCN39WWI've dowloaded latest drivers, fixes and installed all of them. After this actions power button stopped working.I think it happened after BIOS update.I can only turn on laptop by using NOVO button. Although the light on the power button is shining when laptop is on.I've seen somwhere on the internet about disconnecting battery from BIOS to restore factory settings, but this laptop almost just from store and I don't want to break warranty with this action. What can I do without returning this PC to the store?Maybe I can somehow downgrade BIOS version?Or maybe there is a safer way to fix my problem?

My Windows 7 basically blew up and is no longer working. I tried a one-key recovery as well which utterly failed. As a last resort I tried using Windows 7 recovery disks sent by Lenovo. There are 4 disks 1,2,3, and an additional disk. Everything seemed to be going somewhat smoothly, although slow up until disk 3. The screen shows

"Current Item: ApplyOs" "Recover process is running please don't remove your power adapter."

It's been like this for days. The blue bar load bar under it seems to still be running. Tried again, this time with 4 different disks sent by Lenovo. The first 3 disks went a bit faster, but the end result was still the same, getting stuck on "ApplyOs". Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hey guys, I have a Lenovo Ideapad IdeaPad 100 14ibd - win10 and basically im planning on formatting my laptop to get rid of all the stuff/unknown files that are terribly slowing down my ram. But im still new to this process so im wondering if using Lenovo's Onekey recovery is a good thing but then i saw the Reset this PC feature of windows is another thing. My question is, what would be the more recommended thing i should do to get my laptop to its original state just like the new windows 10, or are there any difference within those  two?PS: I got my back up files all set from this laptop to my external hd already Thank you!

Hello all.  I have a lenovo ideapad z560 with win7 home premium.

Around 1 -2 years back I upgraded it to win 10 home insider preview.

Everything was fine until 5 months before....  it wasn't intercepting internet connection..... after much hassle I called in the technician and the problem solved but not fully..... sometime it would persist then I used internet forums to solve it temporarily.

Last week same internet problem surfaced.....  shoes as connected but no pages loaded in any browser.....

Did a system reset successfully....  then after few minutes it was a blue screen showing that all processes died....

Did a reset again but it said reset failed....

And the system hanged....  I switched it off....  and tried to restart but it shows a black screen after lenovo logo screen.....

Tried hardware unplugging.... draining out power supply.... all f1 -f10 buttons don't work.... no safe mode options available.... one key recovery doesn't work for win 10 .... pressing power button for 30 mins.... etc etc etc....

But the system keeps rebooting every few minutes with blank window after lenovo logo....

Calling technician isn't option cos I can't afford it now....  purchased in Oct 2011....  dunno if it still lies in warranty....

Please help.  Thanks in advance.

Hello, yesterday I've bought a laptop Lenovo Ideapad 310-15ISK however, i'm not able to properly install Windows 10.I've burned Windows on USB stick using Windows Media Creation tool.I've launched installation on my new laptop and actually everything was OK.After reset (after 1st part of the installation), I've received the blue screen with an error "inaccessible boot device".I've tried to do it few times, but nothing helped (e.x. I used GPT, EFI, disabled hot-keys, disabled secure boot, disabled fast boot).Hardware is definitely OK (I installed later Ubuntu and it works perfectly). Probably sth is wrong with Windows drivers to this disk (ADATA SU800 SATA). How can I install Windows 10?

So, long story short. I accidentally deleted my recovery partition and now it seems like the only thing that will get my laptop up and running normally again is a recovery disc from Lenovo. I just got off the phone with customer service and they informed me that recovery discs can not be ordered in USB form.  This is where my main issue is. My Lenovo Ideapad Y500 laptop did not come with a CD-ROM Drive. With that being said, I do not want to spend $69 on a recovery disc that will require me to purchase an external CD-ROM drive that potentially won't even work... When I asked customer support if I could return and get a refund for the disc if it will not boot through an external CD-ROM drive, they said no. Has anyone been able to run a recovery disc from an external cd-rom drive successfully? Any suggestions? I'm at my wit's end with this thing...

If you mean the factory recovery files try Lenovo for a recovery disc set if available. If you mean for the OS alone just download the MEDIA CREATION TOOL from microsoft which you will use to download the OS installer. As to drivers go to the download site for your unit to download them.

I am having issues with onekey recovery because I am trying to factory reset my laptop. I have used it before without issues, but I believe it may have happened after I tried out Windows 10 but then reverted back to Windows 7. If I try to use OneKey recovery through the program, when I select the option to reformat, it just restarts my computer normally. If I try to use the onekey recovery key on the keyboard, it just turns on my computer normally. Any solutions to this issue?

Hello, I have an Ideapad 510S13ISK on Windows 10 bought less than a year ago. After installing the Updates for windows (Version 1709) on December my pc started not to wake up from sleep mode, neither closing and opening the screen nor trying to wake it up using the power or any other key.I tried previously to update all drivers from Lenovo's support site. Then i tried to use a restor point created before the Windows Updates, but they still remained installed. At that point i reset the pc using the reset option by windows but the problem was still present.I updated again all drivers after the reset but nothing, it doesn't wake up. Precisely the pc seems to wake up but the screen doesn't, and it "flashes". Here a video of the probem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LntcxCrlZqQ I'm sorry for my english, hope you understand. Kind regards. Marco

Hi avraham123 ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

This is the main guideline  (click highlighted link for full article) regarding corrupted partition.

If the Hidden Partition is destroyed:
If the hidden partition is destroyed or replaced hard drive, you won't be able to restore the system through Lenovo OneKey Recovery software. You need to utilize the Recovery DVD, read more from below related articles:How to recover the system to Factory settings with Recovery DiscsHow can I get a system recovery CD, DVD or USB from Lenovo
Note:
If you accidentally uninstall OneKey Recovery, you may go to D drive. Find the folder named as Drivers. Open it to find out OneKey_Recovery folder --> find setup.exe. Click on it and follow the on-screen instructions. OneKey Recovery will be reinstalled.
If you are unable to reinstall OneKey Recovery, you are recommended to contact local service provider or read How can I get a system recovery CD, DVD or USB from Lenovo for more information to get recovery media

As discussed here are suggested steps that you can also try if repair failed .
1) Make sure that recovery partition is there or not. As I said, go to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Disk Management and check.
2) Second, When the laptop is shutdown, try pressing the NOVO button and see if the laptop starts in the recovery mode.
3) You can try to restore the laptop from you... Read more

I didn't initiate any recovery. I have a lot - and I mean A LOT - of important data on my laptop. Why the hell would I want to wipe them off? Hello Please help. Lenovo IdeaPad p580 - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit edition. Today my system hung. So I waited for it to get normal but it did not for 15 minutes or so. Then forced shutdown it. Restarted and it stayed jammed for 30 mins or more on Starting Windows screen. After that tried Safe Mode with Networking (Displayed cursor only and did not display anything else for very long time), SafeMode with Command prompt (did not move after CLASSPNP.SYS file), tried using recovery disk it gave me first screen to select language and country then on second screen gave Startup Recovery/Repair thing but did not allow to do anything as cursor kept in spinning mode. Waited for more than one hour. After that tried to use ONEKEY Recovery and before that backed up my data via portable linux drive which I alway keep handy. OneKey Recovery failed (Note- I have not resized or deleted or tempered that partition so there is no chance for it to fail). Turned off the system clicked on OneKey Recovery and it gave me a screen with a wallpaper and cursor only. Did not give anything else. Tried getting an ISO from microsoft but they said my key is an OEM so contact the manufacturer. Here on Lenovo website they say my product is out of warranty. When I want to use that OneKey Recovery it is not working just wow there goes my magic wand which I have saved to use in dry days. I know I can always FORMAT my system and reinstall it. Saying I?ve tried everything is a stretch, but ive searched forums for solutions to this, the uninstall and install of the sound drive is the most common one. I uninstalled it, now it disappeared with no option to reinstall it. couple weeks ago I bought this laptop because my old laptop screen wet its pants. I bought a LAN cable to connect between the computers and do some file sharing. I followed this elaborate process to get both computers to be in share mode, and then I was able to transfer the most important files for school before I did that, my speakers were working. After I did that, boom, gone. Red x over the speaker, trouble shooting keeps telling me to restart the computer after I did it 10 times already. I do each software update per recommendation, still nothing. Uninstall the driver, and then redownload it from the website. Still nothing, doesn?t even show up in the device Manager anymore.

I bought my wife an ideapad maybe a year or so ago (the exact model isn't coming to me at the moment) and she recently had it die while she was using it due to low battery. When it started up, it was having issues starting up and went stright to onekey recovery. No problem, we've used this feature before... but after the recovery, it gives me the option to restart and it loads automatically to the onekey recovery again. It has done this time and time again. I am able to boot in to bios by pressing Fn+F2 when at the lenovo splash screen but nothing in there seems to give me any help or remedy the situation. The Lenovo splash screen seems to hang for a very long time and also displays "Checking Media" in the upper left corner, reminiscent of a DOS screen. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... Also, I have ensured that the onekey button is not stuck. It seems to click in and out of place pretty obviously. I'm at a loss!
