Cannot open Home Depot cart in Firefox

Q: Cannot open Home Depot cart in Firefox

I am using Firefox v28 and cannot see my cart at www.homedepot.com that I have worked several hours to load products into. I have 20 products in my cart. All I can see is the header on the page and the full page will not load.
I have cleared cookies, cache, history. I have shut down and rebooted. I have tried using IE. All with no success..
Can anyone help?

Preferred Solution: Cannot open Home Depot cart in Firefox

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I noticed after my laptop came back from the service depot the first attempt at the repair that most of the screws that hold it together had been replaced with Philips head screws.  One of the original star screws was still installed.  Also the cover around the keyboard seems to be looser and I could see under it from the side.  Also the change in screw appears to have made several dents in the surface of the laptop.  I appear the new screws are either too long or were over driven.  I would not expect my laptop to be damaged while in the depot for repair. I first sent my laptop into the depot May 31, 2016.  It came back with a new hard drive, running windows 10 in safe-mode, and still had the same freezing/shutting down problems.  It also had new screws and new dents near the touch pad from the new screws.  The night I received the laptop and tried using it with the same problems I sent it in for the first time, I called Lenovo service to send it back in.  That was June 8, 2016.I sent is back to the depot on June 14, 2016.  On June 26 the update on the order was that the broken part was not in stock.  Then July 8 I asked Lenovo support what was going on and they informed me the new part would arrive July 11 and they would expedite the repair and shipping.  Overall not a terrific experience.I want to be clear, the under manufacturer?s warranty laptop should only be returned in good working order in the same or ... Multiple banks say they are seeing evidence that Home Depot stores may be the source of a massive new batch of stolen credit and debit cards that went on sale this morning in the cybercrime underground. Home Depot says that it is working with banks and law enforcement agencies to investigate reports of suspicious activity.
Update: 1:50 p.m. ET: Several banks contacted by this reporter said they believe this breach may extend back to late April or early May 2014. If that is accurate — and if even a majority of Home Depot stores were compromised — this breach could be many times larger than Target, which had 40 million credit and debit cards stolen over a three-week period.

A:Major Credit Card Breach at Home Depot

Not again! I think I may have used my card at Home Depot! I am going back to cash only and getting it directly from the bank.

Read other 9 answers

After confirming a few weeks ago that credit card details for more than 56 million customers were stolen by hackers who managed to breach Home Depot’s security system in a sophisticated Target-like manner, the retail store on Thursday also confirmed that as many as 53 million email addresses were also stolen by attackers, The New York Times reports.
Thus, in addition to being able to replicate credit cards using the stolen card info in order to steal money or place fraudulent orders, hackers might also use the massive email database to target unsuspecting users with various secondary phishing attacks. Specifically, hackers could send email messages containing links and/or attachments to fraudulent websites masquerading like real sites but meant to steal login user credentials for various services, including online banking services.

Firefox on XP Home goes crazy when you try to open a downloaded file

When I say go crazy, I mean when you click on the download- it opens up about 9 or 10 times.

(using latest version, download manager in firefox has been cleaned up- still the problem exists though)

A:Firefox on XP Home goes crazy when you try to open a downloaed file

To download HJTsetup.exe from TrendSecure To Download HijackThis go to the following at the File Repository
Click on the link below to Download HijackThis Self Installer:

Save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialog boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialog.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialog box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
At the top of the Notepad HJT log screen, hit Edit then Select All then click Edit and then click Copy doing that copies the text to the clipboard, you won't see it yet....
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
A security expert with a gold shield to the right of their name should take a look at your log - please be patient.

Had a number of abrupt computer shutdowns due to power outage and now Firefox won't open no matter what I do. I'm trying to recover all my bookmarks before I reinstall Firefox. So, after identifying which file it is (I think) I'm trying to get a look inside so I can record everything.

Thanks! I'm all ears!

A:How do I open a Firefox bookmarks file (.json) without using Firefox?

Your bookmarks and other preferences are stored in a separate and independent location/file on your disk, so you should be able to delete and reinstall Ff without needing to do a special save for them. I was just curious if anybody has been receiving the same error message:

"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."

I have been getting this on my laptop for a few weeks now, off and on, when I close Mozilla Firefox for whatever reason and try to reopen it immediately after. Usually, after receiving the error message I just wait a few seconds and try again and the browser opens just fine.

However, I now just found out that my cousin has been dealing with the same problem, only worse, when he uses his laptop at home. (different locations, different networks, different brands of laptop.) I witnessed first-hand that he had the same error message, only his did not go away, nor could we get his browser to open. He says this happens to him every time he closes Firefox and tries to reload.

We resolved this issue by opening the task manager and manually ending Mozilla under processes, not applications, since it was not on the applications list, but was on the processes list.

Tell me if you have been experiencing the same or similar issues with Mozilla Firefox. I am curious, because this is the only problem I have ever had with Firefox, other than the occasional browser crash.

First time post.
Firefox.exe process invokes in Process Explorer, very briefly, if loaded directly from itís shortcut, and is gone, without opening a window at all. I see now that upon shutting down the Vidalia bundle (Tor/Privoxy), firefox.exe process does stay started in Process Explorer, but still no window. If instead firefox is called upon by another program, such as filehippo or avast, say, it invokes the firefox.exe process but the browser window is nowhere to be seen, as with directly invokeing without the Vidalia bundle.
ALT-Tab doesnít show a firefox window open, and right-clicking on the process to bring that window to the front yields a greyed out option in the pop-up menu for Ďwindowí. So thereís no window. Troubleshooting on my own, Iíve now struggled by with IE, like now, and updated a bunch of programs from filehippo, including firefox itself, to version 3.0.4 build 2008102919, but still no firefox window.

Windows itself has updated this morning. My fellow user, a housemate, has not any such problem with firefox when we switch users. His works fine.
Thereís a bunch of crud in my hijack log, and Iíll post that below.
I ran ccleaner this morning and cleaned my registry up, it needed it, but no solvie.
I did a full avast scan including archives, and found no viruses.
Iím running now with msconfig altered to bare startup stuff, to eliminate potential conflicts there.

I'm trying to work with Zen-Cart to set up a online shopping site.

Does anyone out there have any experience with Zen-Cart? Is it just me or is the configuration process brutally complicated? I have their 400 page manual, but even with that it takes me hours to scratch the surface of this thing.

I have the manual up on one monitor, the admin page up in another monitor and the Zen-Cart website help page up on a third monitor and it is still just going too slow.

Is there a different interface out there or something to simplify all of the options and menus?

I'm not a programmer, that may be part of the problem, and I know Zen-Cart is free and I've seen some really nice sites that were built using it but I've burned hours getting almost nowhere.

Any thoughts?

Ok, so I just set up a merchant account, now I need the shopping cart thing.
I have no experience doing this sort of thing, and I could use a little help getting it going.

basically I need to know:

where do I go to get a shopping cart (free would be preferable, since I already paid for the account...), and how do I integrate it into my website?

Is there somewhere I can go to just get the code so I can "copy and paste" into an html form? what language would it use? Java, php, html, etc.

I just finished my first Windows 7 system a few weeks ago. A curious issue occurred about two weeks ago.

Whenever I shut down my computer for a few hours, then start it back up, about 5 minutes after the start up is complete, my PC has a memory management error. What makes this curious, though, is the fact that once the PC is up and running, I receive no further BSOD. Similarly, if I just restart the computer, all is well. Or, when I just go into sleep mode and restart normally, there is no issue. In addition, running in safe mode doesn't replicate the problem, either.

Here's my system information:

Windows 7, x64

Age of the hardware is relatively new, as well as the installation date.

I cannot seem to generate a System Health Report. I'm getting the apparently common message (page not found).

Thanks for the read.

I downloaded CubeCart and am trying to work on it in either Dreamweaver or the File Manager on my server. Either one will work but I'm CLUELESS as to where to start.

I don't know how to put this all together and make it work and the installation instructions may has well be written in Greek. I don't know where to start...there are two header.php and two index.php and two of this and two of that and you get the drift. HELP....I need someone to walk me thru this or I may just lose my mind.

I downloaded Cube Cart cause I can *mangle* the logo easier than I can the one on osCommerce. At least I did when I was using the server I had before but that one had it laid out where I could identify which files were which...now I am on my own. This isn't a Fantasico or C-panel. Liz

A:order form (cart?)

Hi, AZ

Re: shopping cart...

If you want to explore the possible coding behind it you might like to look at the following:

I also know there are applications around that you can use without having to learn code:

Short of that, the choices are going to involve a server-side language. Perl isn't that hard to learn. Well, I think it's a doddle compared to Java. The only other thing to add is: if the customers are ordering online, make sure you've considered security. A lot of webspace providers cater for this...as well as providing shopping cart solutions and support.

Hope this is of some help.

I bought a new Ideapad 720s about a month ago and had to send it to the lenovo repair depot for the screen to be replaced. When I got it back, the bottom cover of the laptop got dented near the hinges. Clearly, whoever was replacing the laptop screen pried open the bottom cover near the hinges with something sharp and metallic and ended up denting the bottom cover. Additionally, the bottom cover looks misaligned and there is a space between where the cover and the rest of the laptop body meets. While the screen is working fine now and and this is more of a cosmetic issue, it still sucks that they dented my laptop within a month of purchase. Should I bother calling lenovo support about this? Is this even covered by the warranty?

First I noticed unrequested pages were appearing.
Then Firefox stopped opening - it appears in the list of processes for a few seconds then disappears.
I can open IE but it is being redirected when I, for example, click a google search link.
I can't open Internet Options via either the COntrol Panle or IE Tools.
I ran AVG and it virus vaulted a trojan, a registry reference to the trojan and various trackers.
I ran Housecall and it "fixed" another trojan (it had "mole" in its name).
I ran HJT and deleted three obvious redirect items.
I tried rebooting with System Restore off then switched it back on but still Firefox won't open and IE is redirecting.

I'm stumped!

Try this:

Right click on the IE7 desktop icon and select 'Start without add-ons'. If the problems with IE7 don't occurr then an add-on is causing problems.

If that doesn't work, right click on the IE desktop icon and select 'Properties'. Click on the 'Security' tab and click on 'Reset all zones to default level' (provided it isn't already grayed out).

Another thing you can try is right click on the IE desktop icon, select 'Properties' >> 'Advanced' tab and click on the 'Reset' button.

you have the the shopping cart id and the item row value to remove it ... then refresh the screen again...

Hi guys, I'd like to learn more about integrating a shopping cart application with a merchant account.

I understand the mechanics of obtaining credit card information from the user via HTML forms and whatnot. What isn't clear to me is what I would then do with this information.

I've done some searching and all I can seem to find is tutorials on making the actual shopping cart software, which I can do myself, and links to other purchasable shopping cart software.

Can someone link me to a page or book that covers this topic in detail?

The webhost for this shopping cart site creates the codes needed to make it work on a separate page for each item. I copied the codes for each individual product and pasted them onto one page.
Each item contains a form with hidden fields that consists of the product's id # so that the shopping cart processor should know which item is being purchased when the buy button is being clicked.
However, the different products are not being recognized on the page, but rather, every buy button interprets as if the first item on the page is being purchased again and again.
Being that I'm not familiar with javascripts, I don't know how to format this page so that the buy buttons for each individual item sends the right info. One thing that I did learn is that 2 forms one 1 page cannot have the same form name so I altered the name of the 2nd form to celectvar as opposed to selectvar (the default name given by the webhost).

Following is a clipping of the scripts and forms for the 2 first products on the page.

<script> function validateSelect() {

A:javascript used in a shopping cart site

So what is your question exactly?? They have bad coding on their site and are only going to be selling black & white cookies. They should have tested the pages before they put them on the internet.....poor business decision.

When adding items to our Paypal shopping cart we can continue shopping to add more items by clicking on the continue shopping button. However, a POPUp appears notifying you that "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window-Do you want to close the window-yes or no"
This is confusing and is there a way to deactivate that POPUP from showing up. It only appears on internet Explorer and not Google Chrome or Firefox.
Any help would be appreciated

I am running XP home SP1 and IE 6. When I try to add something to a shopping cart I get this error "We're sorry, more information is needed to order this item. Please complete Step 2, then continue your order" on one site (llbean.com). On another site (victoriassecret.com) it acts like it adds it to the shopping bag, but when I view the bag it is empty.

I had SP2 installed and uninstalled it, and have the same results. I also have done the registry tweak to fool the system into thinking that IE6 is not installed and reinstalled it. I was able to add something to my LLBean shopping cart after doing that. The item was backordered, and when I went back to change my choice, it gave me the "We're sorry, more information is needed to order this item. Please complete Step 2, then continue your order" error again. I have run the latest Spybot S&D, and Adaware versions and deleted some spy/adware. Still having the problems.
