I am trying to open a schedule through Internet Explorer and Java. I have the most recent update for Java. When I open the schedule, I continue to get this error message " unable to initiate tubesock. unable to communicate applet after 5 attempts". I have uninstalled, reinstalled Java, restarted my computer, set Java Security as I have been instructed, and I am still getting this message. That message used to display when the Java wasn't compatible but I am being told that the Java I have should work. What else can I do? What else could be wrong?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've been having increasing BSOD and high CPU usage for a while and have my suspicions. However, before that I've attempted to follow the posting instructions and not been able to. My Dell A10 Printer installtion included the Dell All-in-One Centre, which enabled all tasks to be instructed via the monitor/computer. This included scanning to file which cannot be instructed on the printer itself. It had all been working, but recently when I selected the All-in-One Centre, it started to look for its application, gave up and put up and error message that a problem had occurred.
I uninstalled the printer, then reinstalled it. No change. I restored my system to an earlier date when I new it used to work. No improvement.
I then found that when the printer is installed. I get the "IM32fax.dil not found" message on boot-up. I see that this has affected many people, but mostly those with Lexmark. It does not occur if I uninstall the printer.
I have scanned the computer with Regcure and it says it's clear.
I would appreciate any ideas please.

Ok, I have played in dozens of tournements and taken all the lessons. However, I have never completed one scenario and have only been able to complete the bottom row of the legend tour (or whatever its called where you play against ai opponents) because whenever I try to do these things I get the "unable to initiate course" message. In the case of course initialization, you may want to make absolutely sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for your graphics card and are also running the most up to date version of DirectX. If not, no amount of uninstall / reinstall will correct this issue.

You may also want to check your graphics card against the Recommended Cards List given in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 readme file to make sure that your graphics card chipset is listed. If not, that may also be the cause of this issue.

When I go to the site http://www.netdania.com/Products/QuoteList/QuoteListApplet.aspx?lite=no&m=q on IE11, I get a page showing problems with java applet. I have tried to install the latest version of Java; it is successful and enabled, but not for netdania.com. When I try to install it for this site, I get windows security warning, and I can not install this software. The problem is recent (though it has occurred in the past from time to time), and is non-existent on my other computers. Grateful for any advice. I have tried to change the activeX options under the security in the internet options, but that has not helped. The site is okay with Firefox and Google Chrome.

On the last line of the TSG info utility below, I see windows defender reported as disabled. I have checked this and it is enabled on my laptop.

I am having problem with Java. It used to work before - last time I used is over 8 months.

1) I get message - BRS010:Java applet unable to load


2) Does NOT find java installed. I cheked and re-cheked and java is installed. I run Java chekup and yes, it finds Java installed.

I use Windows 7, IE 8, Java 6u21

Java is enabled in my IE (manage add-on)

I deleted all cookies, ran antivirus, anti spyware

I un-installed and re-installed java several times.

My friend has the same setup and no problem with Java.

I'm receiving a System log occurrence every thirty seconds.

Event ID - 1009 (Distributed COM)

DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer <Machine Name> using any of the configured protocols.

I'm currently unable to locate what the source of this call is.

- I have to stop the source of the call on the client.
- I cannot enable remote access.
- I cannot disable DCOM events in the log.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Otherwise, try using Process Monitor (free here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896645.aspx ) and have it make a log file around the time that the DCOM error occurs.

FWIW - these logs are HUGE, so it's best if you can figure out how to generate the error. Also, the last time I used it it filled my hard drive with the log file - and I had to use a PE mode disk to delete enough to get back into Windows. BE CAREFUL!!! and backup your stuff (both data and registry) before proceeding.

I have an HP 2000 notebook, and an HP Photosmart 7510e all in one printer with wireless set up. Suddenly I can not print. I get message Unable to communicate with printer........the printer is unavailable or not connected....Everything worked fine last night but not this morning. I have run test on printer and no problems found. Wireless is on, and it is connected to the correct network. I even un-installed and    re-installed the printer. I have attempted to run a trouble check from computer all day but the page is unavailable for some reason. What the heck is going on? It' got to be something fairly easy to fix if I knew what I was looking for.

Does your printer print if you connect it to the notebook with a USB cable ?  If it does, then the problem probably lies with your network. If it doesn't, the problem allmost certainly lies with your printer drivers on the computer.
If it prints by USB, then a simple test is to go to 'Control Panel / Networks' then click on 'Full map' and see if your printer shows up on the network diagram. If it doesn't, then check things like everything is on the same frequency and that your printer is actually speaking to YOUR wireless system. This may sound silly, but I once wondered why my internet connection was crawling and discovered that it had connected to another router a long way down the street instead of the one one wall and 15 feet away !

I have a proprietary Software application  for  running a flight simulator.  it is  working fine  in windows xp pro 32bit. It uses UDP Ports nos: 5000, 6000, 17001,9001,11180,18001 to communicate with other PCs in the Local Lan to
communicate with switches(anolog & digital) & the controls. but, now the same application does not comminucate on running the application in windows 7 pro 32bit service pack1 . The application simply shows up in the desktop with out any response. I
have switchoff the firewall, i 've also made the application to  run in winxp srv pack3 compatible mode, and also tried to run in administrator mode. There is no joy. any suggestion will be appreciated.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and have an HP 3050a network printer. I was successful two days ago in scanning from the computer but when I tried to print today I got the above message. Nothing has changed on the computer that I am aware of and computer and 2 Ipads are connecting to the network.

A few weeks ago i had a spyware issue. You can view the details of the problem at the link below:


The laptop is almost brand new and so i thought i could resolve the issue by opening a system restore point from my first day of ownership. This healed the bdo issue and allowed me to run a number of spyware checkers. Spybot seemed to cleanse the machine of the issue.

I've just discovered, when trying to download msn messenger, that my machine is now unable to communicate with the windows update site. The winbdows installer and windows update window of control panel both freeze. I've not received any updates for a few weeks either. I can only assume that the same problem, which i thought had been fixed, is still lurking somewhere in the depths of the machine. I've read through a number of similar posts on forums and they all seem to suggest that it's a spyware/virus issue.

Any help you can offer will once again be much appreciated.

Hello all,

Ever since I had to recently wipe and reformat the hard drive on my Win XP Home, SP2 computer, I've been receiving this alert message when I wake it up from Stand by:

"Unable to communicate with APC battery back up".

I have confirmed that my computer recognized my unit through the device manager. I did contact APC's tech support and was told to make changes so that my computer is set to Hibernate and NEVER to stand by. I never have completely understood these terms, so am wondering what you all suggest is best for this scenario. All I can figure is these settings may have reverted back to a default after I reformatted, and now I don't know what's best to have it set at. Currently, it's set at:

Power Schemes: Energy Star
Turn off monitor: Never
Turn of hard disks: Never
System Stand by: After 30 minutes
System Hibernates: Never

I checked with the "Hibernation" tab and it's set to:

Enable Hibernation -IS checked

That right there sounds like a conflict to me. Would sure appreciate some wisdom on this. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem connecting to the primary wireless connection at my school. This is a secure network, in which I have the correct network password and am able to connect to the network locally ONLY.

This problem first started after I went home for a weekend and connected successfully to my home network connect. Upon returning to school, I was unable to connect to the schools' wireless connect. When I attempted to "diagnose the problem" the message "Unable to connect to primary DNS server ("

I visited the tech support here, and they were unsure how to solve this problem: When I edit my IPv4 properties in my wireless network connection to "Obtain DNS automatically and accept the changed and close the window, the setting resets... every time. The DNS entry that comes back is the one that is displayed in the error message above.

If someone could help me solve this problem, or maybe discover a problem that I am unaware of I would greately appreciate it.

**EDIT - This laptop is running Windows Vista.

Two Linysy cisco router of same network and 100 are given and the sever 08 has 128 network .the problem is if one router is off the another router is pinging..like tat it was pinging simultaneously.

hmm; as you express it, this is literally impossible.
There should only be one DHCP server on this lan. With the addresses you've provided, the server has only one connection to the router and thus it can literally read/write to one device at a time.

A couple days ago I ran into the asam.exe virus. I read a tutorial on how to stop the process, and what changes to make to the registry to get rid of it, and all seemed well.

However, I've noticed many strange things since then.

The most major problem that I have is that I now cannot communicate with many "patching" programs. I play quite a few online games that require you to run a patcher before player, and all of them are hanging or giving me a "cannot connect to remote host" error when they attempt to pull up the patch information they're trying to get.

Most of the companies have forums that say this is due to a firewall interfering with the launcher/patcher program. I know for a fact I have my firewall completely disabled though (Windows Firewall is the only thing I have on my computer), so I'm assuming that the asam.exe, or some other virus, put up a firewall like design on my computer.

I have further reason to believe this may be the case as I also have a gadget in vista that used to give me a live news feed everyday, updating itself with new headlines. However, it hasn't updated itself since May 30th, and I'm suspecting the 2 things are related.

I have AVG anti-virus 9.0, and doing a complete system scan with AVG 9, and its updated definitions, shows a clean system.

One more thing. Now, everytime I start my computer, an error box pops up saying that Microsoft .Net Framework cannot reach local host

I recently bought a Dell Laptop (Windows 7). I have been unable to connect to the internet using the Web Browsers. The error I am getting is that the Primary DNS server is not responding. I am able to ping to Internet (say ping works. So internet connectivity does exist), But the DNS is not getting resolved. However there are other Win7 laptops which are on the network which do not have an issue(one of which I am typing this Q from). I have tried most of web offered solutions like
1. Restarting the Router
2. Checking if DHCP is enabled in router settings.
3. Changing settings to find DNS automatically or using static IP or using google's DNS servers.

Also, NSloopkup doesn't work too. How do I resolve this Issue. Please help ??

If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to paste the results into something like notepad and then copy onto a machine that can access the internet and post the results in a reply here.
Save the file to a USB flash drive or other removable media. Plug it into the working computer with internet access and copy the file and paste here.

This should also work for windows 8
Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD then press Enter to open a command prompt box
(A new dialogue box - black with white font, will appear on screen ):

In the command prompt window that opens, type the following command:

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

ipconfig /all > network.txt & network.txt

It will export the results into notepad and then automatically open the notepad and display on your screen.

Now all you need to do is copy and paste those results into a reply here
to do that:
From the notepad menu - choose Edit - Select all
all the text will now be highlighted
From the notepad menu - choose Edit - Copy

Now go back to the forum - goto the reply and then right click in the reply box and paste the results.

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is in the correct section but to me this seems to be a connection issue rather than a hardware issue.
We have an Epson XP-305 wireless all in one printer, which has been printing fine for the last few days and will successfully print with all of the laptops in the house except for one. This issue has began today and printing previously has been fine.

When attempting to print, for example, a webpage using the normal methods of printing, an error dialogue will show on the computer screen (printer remains in its normal state) stating 'Unable to communicate with the EPSON connect server. -2'.
I have tried printing on another laptop in the house and it works perfectly fine so it is identifiable as a problem with this specific computer - not the network connection for the whole house etc.

I have gone through our McAfee firewall settings and all services that are to do with the printer seem to have full access (and if they hadn't I changed it so they did), but still nothing. If it helps at all there seems to be some form of communication with the printer and the computer itself as when I ping the printer's IP address it comes back with normal replies. The network connection status sheet appears normal apart from the 'Epson Connect Status' being disconnected. However, when I try to load the Epson Connect set up program it says the service is unavailable and the connection failed.

Anyone have any ideas?

Question Re: XPS 8700 with Windows 8.1.  if computer is no longer able to boot into Windows.
And Restore is not able to correct issue. 
And Refresh is unable to correct issue.
But Dell Backup and Recovery indicates no issues were found and now asks to Reinstall Operating System.
is Installation Restore/Original Image Media required to complete the Reinstallation usind Dell Backup and Recovery?
Alternatively if the Reset My PC option is used is Installation media required?

I have someone who is experiencing random connection problems on the clients such as slow or no connections to mapped network shares. Event id 10009 keeps being recorded in the domain controller logs.

DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer MARK-PC.pmc.local using any of the configured protocols.

It has a range of different computer names within the same events. As far as DCOM is configured it's only setup to use TCP-IP.

Server - Windows Server 2008 Standard FE
System type: 64-bit Operating System

24 XP Pro
2 Vista Pro
2 Vista Home (should they be using home in an environment like this?)

I have attached the last 256 logs from Application & System as of yesterday evening at around 5pm'ish. I've checked again this morning and looks like the same error has already been re-occurring.

Can anyone give me any suggestion as to where to go with this?

Unfortunately one day a guest @ it's house tried printing something and the computer responded with the message along the lines of "unable to communicate with printer." I went over to associate's house to attempt trouble shoot. I checked the cables, ports (hardware) and the software ports (best of my ability). It couldn't have been the drivers because no one messes around with this machine. So what the hell is going on?

I am in the process of obtaining the newest driver files and contacting Lexmark.com and will await their response as well.

As I suspected it was the drivers. The tech support recieved from www.lexmark.com was a steping stone approach. They wanted me to check the ports and stuff. I didn't that (all of them inside/outside) before posting. Well thanks for the asistance.

Every program says I don't have the rights to access it or the computer has the resources to start.I can't access the internet and any scans I can run stop in the middle and give me the 'system resources' error.I'm not using that computer at the moment, since I'm completely unable to use it.Firstly I must ask, is is necessary to save the dds.scr and rootrepeal scanners directly to the desktop, or can they be moved there after being downloaded to another location? I can't access the internet on the infected computer so I will be unable to download them if they MUST be saved to the desktop. I have already managed to run a Win32kDiag scan (attached).Thank you for any help.

I cannot get windows to load the drivers for a Jabra UC Voice 550a MS Duo USB headset. Under Devices, Windows 7 shows lists this headset by name as an Unspecified device.  In device manager, Windows 7 lists this headset under "Other devices". 
I called Jabra Support and they say this is a Windows problem.  It must be in configuration somewhere or related to several Windows Updates that occurred on my PC on Oct 2nd, 2014.  Prior to Oct 2nd, 2014, this headset worked and this headset still
works on other PCs.  Any help will be very much appreciated.

Do the other USB devices work correctly? Have you tried to plug in with another port?

I recommend you to follow these steps to have a fix.
Step1.Run this fix it tool  to have a check .
Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows
Step 2.Reinstall the headset driver, you may need to manually download the headset driver from the manufacturer website and install the driver for this device.
Step 3.Uninstall and reinstall the USB controllers from the device manager and then plug in the headset  to have a check.

To do this :
In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers", right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" , click "OK", repeat for each device and restart . Windows 7 will reinstall all USB controllers

Anybody, help! Quite desperate as this is affecting my work.

Sometime ago, I installed AGV as there seemed to be lil bugs in my comp that Norton could not get. AGV managed to detect and delete these bugs, but not all problems were solved. Norton's subscription was up and I was still quite peeved about Norton's inability to help...so I uninstalled it. Since then, there were more problems...

1) I'm unable to run help from Start...or msconfig from Start/Run or system restore. The error message is that it can't find the file. Even when I go to explorer to double-click the file directly, it still won't run.

2) I'm unable to open ANY file with MS word or powerpoint. It would say that the file is unavailable. It would also prompt me to replace existing normal.dot file. I'm unable to do the detect and repair, it would say error 1706...I do not have the installation CD with me anymore!

3) I'm unable to run any online virus scan (Trend, Panda...) even after I made changes to the security settings to allow for ActiveX.

4) I'm tried to reinstall Norton, but it can't run. It says 'CFGWIZ.EXE - Unable to locate component. . . . cctrust.dll was not found.'

I do run Spybot, Adaware, AGV, Winaso regularly.

After online researching, I ended up into this forum >> disk 1 is unknown, not initialized, unallocated

I downloaded the Partition Wizard from Jumanji's link, installed, and followed instructions until the end.

After assigning drive letter (G:\), the PW shows that it is indeed assigned to drive G:\ BUT, I still can't see it in My Computer so I checked Disk Management and it still shows the same status/problem as it was from the beginning.

Is/are there any further necessary step/s after assigning Drive letter to the recovered disk?

When I try to close the PW, it says "You are about to quit the program and cancel all pending operations. The changes you have made will be lost."

I don't know what to do from here. Please help

OK, It could be a simple matter.

But I want to have a clear picture of what exactly your problem was.

1. Are we dealing with in internal drive or external drive?

2. Was the drive suddenly not accessible in My Computer?

3. Was it seen in Disk Management? What did it show? Even now you can take a screenshot of how the drive appears in Windows Disk Management and post it

I know you had used PW. But we shall get on to it after you post the Windows Disk Management screenshot.

BTW what is your local time? If you are in USA you can go to sleep and come back after six or eight hours. No problem.

we have a few sales people that work for our company from their houses. so i set them up with e-mail addresses here.
they use outlook to pop3 their e-mail from our exchange server .
this morning one of them had a problem with his DSL connection we called the tech , and the tech had to make him delete and create a new connection to get online. after this , he wasn't able to get any e-mail on outlook, this is the error he gets
" the connection to the server has failed: error 0x800ccc0E"
i had check his accoutn properties , and all the settings are fine.
this is weird.

any idea on what might be causing this problem, nobody else of the employees had any problems with the e-mail.

any suggestions please i appreciate it.

I am having two problems with itunes. I am unable to download the most recent download 10.6.3 and have been unable to do so since 10.6.1. It says errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problems persist choose Tools>Download Only and try installing manually. When I do, I end up with "error writing to file:C:\Config.Msi\2456585e.rbf" and have no idea what that means.
I am also unable to burn any cds. When I try to, it say disc burner or software not found. I have burned cds in the past.

I am unable to unable to install new apps, unable to open my regisry, task manager is greyed out.
The message pops up "Registry editing has been disabled by your Administrator"
This is newly installed window as yesterday my old also got same message & all my apps/programs crashed, so i thought re-installing with complete formatting of window drive will solve my problem, but even on new window the problem remains.
I have tried almst every option available on net to enable my registry editing but none worked.
This issue is also not allowing to install Malwarebyte for any scan of malware etc.
Plz help me out.

If you formatted the hdd and installed Windows from a legit source then I would think....if malware is involved...either
an external drive or your router is reinfecting your computer.

Well I got a big problem.

A couple days ago I noticed network connectivity issues. Random connection drops, overall bad connection, etc. I recently had some really bad malware and I removed it, so I suspected leftover malware from the start. I went to check Windows Update to see if I missed a security update, and it wasn't even on my computer. Something removed the service completely off my computer, so I found a .reg to fix it. I then started Windows Update and found that I had 30 updates missing and updated all of them successfully.

I then decided to see what was going on with my Windows Firewall, only to find that it was also removed. Wasn't in my services or anything. So I downloaded the .reg to fix that, tried to activate the service, only to run into another roadblock that I still haven't been able to fix, an error stating

"The Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Service on local computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs".

Ok. So I checked my services again and I believe that some more were completely missing(Base Filtering Engine, NSI proxy Service). So to try and remedy this, I attempted an sfc /scannow in elevated cmd prompt.

Then another brick wall. I get to 59% and then I get this message

"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation".

Trustedinstaller service is turned on, so I have no idea why I'm getting this message. But... Read more

I believe I have a malware virus on my computer. It started where Internet Explorer pages would open by themselves to random sites. Next I've noticed that my CD drives are no longer visible. When I put a CD or DVD into either one of my 2 disc drives, I don't see either on My Computer. I keep getting an error that my drives are not up-to-date but I'm not able to update them. I get the following message when my computer comes on - "The driver CDR4_XP.SYS on your system is old. Please reinstall DirectCD to update the driver".I followed the steps for the Preparation Guide and have attached the Attach.txt and DDS.txt files. I was not able to run the GMER program. I tried multiple times and I keep getting this error and the computer shuts down. The error was "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." There is more text and then at the bottom it said "Technical Info: ***STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00202074,....)" it continues on with more numbers.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hello, So I was recently infected by some Trojans, not sure which ones. But when I rebooted my computer my taskbar was unable to load and only showed a sliver of it at the bottom of the screen. Also i'm unable to drag any desktop icons and my sound drivers are unable to load. I've tried running multiple anti-virus programs such as Malwarebytes and Kaspersky and unable to do so since I receive an error trying to run it. When I try to open Windows Firewall, I get a popup saying "Windows Firewall settings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. Do you want to start the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Serice?" But when I press yes I get an error saying ICS cannot be started. Can anyone help?

under Win10 x64 & IE11 fully patched & updated, since some time I am unable to drag&drop websites to the "Favorites" bar in IE like before. I am now also unable to rearrange existing shortcuts at the bar by drag&drop.
What I already checked:

did reset all IE setting incl. personal settings - no effectStarted IE without addons - no effectTried with another user profile, no effectremoved almost all items from autostart (using MSConfig), no effectchecked folder permissions on my "Favorites" folder, they are fine

Booting Win10 in safe mode, drag&drop works, rearrange worksAdding a website using a button "Add to a favorites bar" worksafter opening "favorites" on the left side of IE and navigating to "Favorites Bar" folder, I was ABLE to rearrange shortcuts there, and the changes were instantly reflected on my "Favorites" bar.
Any suggestions?
I have found this thread with exactly same sympthoms, but unfortunately the "solution" provided there (and somehow marked as answer (???!!!))  is not a solution.

I have Windows 7 Professional version installed. After it boots up and it goes to Login Screen. I click on user name icon and it tries to look for the password and it comes back to same USDER ID Icon. It goes in a loop.

I tried to book in SAFE mode and same thing happens.
I tried to do SAFE Mode in Command network. It does not go to Command prompt. Goes back to same login screen.
It is running on my Leonovo laptop.

I had a folder on my Desktop that just won't delete. I tried deleting it and moving it to another location. It deleted everything within the folder, yet the folder still remained.

I've been having the problem of my Desktop not updating when files/folders are deleted, so I have to manually refresh after a delete to show it gone. Well, the folder decided to stick around. I tried Renaming, Deleting, changing Folder Permissions, Reboot of the Computer.....Nothing seems to help.

If I try to open the folder, I get a "Location is Not Available" along with the "Access Is Denied" error. Going to Properties>Security prompts me that I don't have permission to view or edit permission settings. Under Advanced says the same thing and for Owner it says "Unable to Display Current Owner."

I have trialled it on my desktop and it comes up with a CMD screen and then moves the file. When I extracted the .reg it warned me that it would alter some .tmp files - I read the tutorial and I thought that what I did was fine. I know not to take ownership of Windows 7.

I hope the following information assists and I just want assurance that I did it correctly or if I should have tried another means.

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem... I've been trying to backup my computer to an external drive and I keep getting the error code: 0x8078002A. I've tried numerous times in the past few weeks with no success and the same error code each time. My laptop is a Dell XPS 17 (L702X, Early 2011) with an Intel® Core™ i7-2760QM CPU @ 2.40GHz processor with 8.00 GB of installed memory (RAM). The Windows edition I'm running is Windows 7 Professional. The size of the backup that I'm trying to run is 327.56 GB (and I know there is plenty of space on the external drive to accommodate the backup).The external drive I'm trying to back up the laptop to is a WD (Western Digital) My Book external hard drive that is a 4 TB hard drive. It currently has 1.88 TB free of 3.63 TB according to its properties. I recently performed an "Error-Checking" run with the external hard drive (by clicking on 'Properties' and then the tab that said 'Tools' and then 'Error Checking' and it went through that process and fixed whatever errors it might have found. I had read on some other forum that I should try doing this to see if that would make the backup work, but it still won't work and I'm still getting the same error code.

Can someone look at my brothers log?! For some reason his computer can't do an anti virus update and when I go to the add/remove tap it won't let me uninstall certain programs. if you still need help, please do the following:

Open Hijackthis
Click "config"
Click "misc tools"
Click "open uninstall manager"
Click "save list...."
Save the list and post the log.

Click bottom "back" button so you are back at main Hijackthis window.
Click "scan"
When done click "save log..."
Save log someplace and post it here.


What happens when you try uninstalling programs?
Which ones out of the list are you trying to uninstall but will not?

let me know also what you have done so far to try & fix the issues.

As mention in the title, unable to activate Maya and unable to see any chat msg on yahoo messenger. I do not know what is wrong with my laptop. When i log into my yahoo messenger and start chatting with other people, i wont be able to see my msg or other people msg as well. And i have Maya downloaded and it wont let me activate, it having a blank screen. I think something wrong with my laptop or maybe out of date drivers.
