I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hi, I want to upgrade my Windows to the latest update (October 2018). But upon reading the Lenovo support website, it seems that it's advisable to upgrade Intel Graphics Driver to version 24.20.100.6286 and newer which is available with Intel Audio Driver 10.25.0.10. I have tried updating my drivers through Lenovo Vantage, but that only installed the Nvidia VGA driver, not the Intel one. I also checked the available drivers on Lenovo support page but the Intel Graphics Driver version I need is not listed. Am I missing anything? Is there a timeline on when that driver is going to come out? Thanks.

The newest Intel Video Driver that Lenovo Companion has made available (21.20.16.4678) has an issue ive found that wasnt present in the previous one, and is not present in a newer version (22.20.16.4718) installed automatically through Windows 10 after uninstalling the driver through "Add or remove programs". The bug is that certian (maybe all?) OpenGL applications seem slightly zoomed in. I tested this with Genymotion VM's, after the install of the new driver they all seemed to run as if the window border diddnt exist, clipping the edges of what is shown in the window (much more noticable at the top due to the title bar). Ive restored from backups and manually installed that driver from Lenovos driver download page for this system and the same issue occures. While its possible its an incompatibility with that software, it is not present in the newer drivers (this "new" driver is actually alwready old) so it might be worth pushing a newer driver.

I am panicking as I need my program to work tomorrow morning at 9 AM in Scotland. I updated the video driver as reccommended by Lenovo and now my programs won't work. I contacted support at PsychoPy and they said the driver wasn't working with OpenGL 2.0. The driver only works with OpenGl 3.0+. I tried rolling back the driver, but it didn't help. I need to get this fixed today. Any ideas on what I can do to get the driver to work with OpenGL 2.0 or what driver I should install instead from Intel to get PsychoPy to work again. I tried contacting Intel but they aren't open until 2 PM tomorrow (GMT) which is too late. I tried contacting Lenovo, but they wouldn't tell me what version to download without me paying money. I don't understand why. I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 with Intel hardware. Can anyone help? Thanks!

So I just got a new computer at work, Dell Latitude E7240. I'm running 32-bit Windows 7 (I have to have 32-bit due to some software I have). I installed all of the drivers but my bluetooth doesn't seem to work. I had a similar issue on my last machine, Latitude E6440. I tried using the same driver I used to fix the E6440, but that didn't seem to completely work on my new machine.

Basically, every time I restart my machine, the bluetooth driver doesn't seem to work. I go to device manager, right click on Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R), click on Update Driver Software. Then I go to Browse For Driver Software On Your Computer, then I go to Let Me Pick From A List Of Device Drivers On My Computer, uncheck Show Compatible Hardware. In the Manufacturer List I go to Intel Corporation and in the Model List I select Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) (Intel). This installs Driver Version 17.1.1411.504 (date is 11/26/2014). I have to go thru this every time I restart my computer.

I found a coworker with the same machine (except hers is a 64-bit Win7), with a different driver. She has a Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) 4.0 Adapter with a Driver Version 3.1.1307.364 (date is 8/8/2013). Her's works perfectly everyday. But I understand this is probably the driver for the 64-bit.

Can someone help me find the equivalent for a 32-bit Win7? I've searched endlessly on Google with no results. Thanks!

Hello, Since a few weeks,  I haven't been able to use my bluetooth speaker anymore. I used to simply connect (Bluetooth Devices -> My speaker -> Services -> Listen to music) but the "Listen to music" link is now grey and disabled : impossible to click it.I investigated a bit and realized that the "Intel Wireless Bluetooth" driver was not correctly installed. I tried to uninstall, repair, reinstall it, but couldn't do any of these actions, I always got an error message near the end of the installation process.I'm pretty sure this is the problem : I checked the device manager and discovered 16 "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" with a warning icon in the "Other devices" category ... Doesn't look good, right ? Is anyone struggling with the same issues ? Have you found a way to fix it ? Thanks a lot for any help. Best, Sylvain E.K.

I am not sure what I am missing. I am not sure if there is some dependency of installing some other HP application though I have tried this manually and it works just fine.

I have a Phillips shb5500 headset that was working until revent MS and Hp updates disrupted the drivers. Some function were restored with restore function rollback. I'm on MS boards and Philips boards as well. Device manager says it's working but I'm looking at all potential drivers. The MS Audio Device 97 is high on the list as well. Win 10 has had many such driver foul ups for me. I especially grt annoyed by messages like "there was an error" with no definitions. "Failed to install", "driver unavailable". HP assitant want me to delete the Bluetooth/Intel driver then install the update. I'll do it but I don't see where this is going either. Soon the "story" will be found, it will be a common one I'm sure, but it's so annoying to be thrown in the obsolete scrap bin with a 4 year old device that was marketed as "high end" at the time. HP should win 10 support the device but it doesn't.

Recently there was a Wifi Driver issue, which got resolved when the service guy came and replaced it, 6-8 weeks ago. After that my Wifi works fine but has a bit of a performance issue - It takes some time to identify Wifi Networks. If I switch on my bluetooth, the wifi performance degrades more, i.e. more time to identify network and the speeds of download/upload deteriorates a lot (A video in Youtube 720p quality is brought down to 144p).In addition it seems to take a lot of time for my bluetooth to identify a device. Does the Wifi and Bluetooth share the antennas? If so does this mean the antenna have a problem now?Is there a way to troubleshoot this? maybe by checking speed on Wifi and bluetooth.

Hi

I odn't have that model, but just in case what you can always try is to get the latest wireless driver, sometimes I have some issues with some older wifi drivers.

Check the support site and see if there is a newer driver for the wifi. Check your "WIndows Device Manager" and see the version of the driver you have installed for the wireless adapter.

I also like to test the wifi with different routers on some other networks just be sure that is not a local problem of my router too.

It is also good the check the maintenance manual of your model to see the cables and the antennas. I'm not sure if that is exactly your model, but it seems it was two antennas for the WAN network and 2 for the LAN. It does not specify anything about the bluetooth.

Hi, Thank you for posting. You should not uninstall previous driver prior to updating new one. In Windows 10 you can install updates via Windows Update or Device Manager (preffered method). Here is how >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139 For non-critical, not so important and other updates, you can also use HP Support Assistant (HPSA) >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467905In HPSA, please skip BIOS/UEFI updates.  Hope this helps. Hi all. Nice to meet you. I have a Lenovo Yoga 720 and am noticing two issues.  First, whenever I am on Wifi, my connection will occasionally drop and restart. It is becoming a challenge especially during Skype calls and even simple tasks like browsing. My wifi appears to be OK because I have another PC and Mac that does not have any connectivity issues. Is there something I can do investigate and solve this issues? Moreover, I have connected my Microsoft Sculpt Mouse which had worked great on another PC's. While I can connect it with my Yoga, the connection frequently drops and takes a couple of seconds to re-establish itself. If anything, these issues have become a pain. Any suggestions/ideas on how to rectify the situation would be greatly appreciated!

This morning bluetooth on my computer (Lenovo Yoga 2) worked. I let Windows updates install. After update, no bluetooth. Bluetooth settings says bluetooth is off at each device, but there's no bluetooth on/off at the top of the screen, there is no bluetooth in the "action center." The bluetooth troubleshooter says my computer doesn't have bluetooth. But I had it this morning. At first, device manager didn't show bluetooth in it, until I show hidden I went to the updates settings and uninstalled the updates dated today. No change to any of the above. Then I went to the Lenovo website and downloaded the driver. The install app said I already had it installed, but I selected to repair the installation. It still doesn't show in Device manager, still no option to turn it on. This is driver information per the Lenovo web site:Intel Bluetooth Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Lenovo Yoga 2 ProDM 17.1.1512.771 CP 17.1.1512.077114 Jul 2015 So then I reinstalled the updates, because support on the internet said if a driver isn't being recognized to update. So I reupdated. Didn't help, so then I rolled back the current build to the prior one, timed 3 hours earlier. Nothing changed (no on/off switch in bluetooth, nothing in action center, shows in Device Manager when I "show hidden"). I'm currently on v. 1809. Then I followed the instructions at this link: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-2-Pro-Bluetooth-Issues/m-p/1331... Read more

For the benefit of others who may have the same issue, I now have a workaround for this problem (thanks to Stefan on the Intel forum!): Download the 4474 beta driver from here - Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 5500 To bypass message "best driver is already installed", "customized computer manufacturer driver" or "computer is not validated" install driver via have disk method as described at:https://www.windowscentral.com/how-install-intel-beta-graphics-drivers-surface (ignore prolog about MS surface). The utilisation dropped like a stone once this driver was installed.

Hello, how is it possible from a manufacturer point of view that VGA driver is not update since 2014? At Lenovo site, the last Intel VGA for the laptop is from 8/10/2014 and ready for Windows 8.1. It is very annoying that Lenovo is not paying enough attention to this. At the very same time, I cannot install the Intel driver due to incompatibility. If Lenovo was not ready for Windows 10, why are we being offered to upgrade? Very unprofessional. Cheers.
