I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hello, First post here so hoping I'm in the right area! I'm having issues bitlockering M810z with SCCM, it seems to go through fine but it appears that the TPM version is set to 2.0, I saw on the latest BIOS version that there's support for 'TPM FW Switch Feature' so hoping this is what I need, I've set up SCCM to flash the BIOS for this model, but is there any BIOS settings that I can push through SCCM to ensure that the TPM module is set to 1.2? The TPM chip is set to 'Discrete' already... BIOS I'm upgrading to is here: http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ec/en/products/DESKTOPS-AND-ALL-IN-ONES/THINKCENTRE-M-SERIES-DESKTOPS/M8... Any help is appreciated

I am trying to download the SCCM Driver package for the Lenovo Gen 3 20BT000DUS model.     I've found this page:   https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds120962  but the problem is the download is a compiled .EXE.  that is Not what we need.  We need a "SCCM" formatted driver package.   Once you extract the file you should see something like this: AudioCameraChipsetDisplayInputPower_ManagementSecuritySensorStorageVideoWireless and then each folder contains the required .dll, .inf files  etc...etc.... where do I find that for this model?

After deploying Windows 7 x64 via SCCM 2012 and injecting the drivers from the HP driver pack for 840 G3 Win 7 x64, I get a 0x0000007E. PC doesn't provide any specific driver that is failing, so disabling drivers in the priver package is mostly pick and guess. Any tips / comments from HP or the community?

We use SCCM (actual version is current brach 1709) .  Dell provdes SCCM "driver packs" for all of their models.  You download 1 .CAB file and then expode it and all drivers are there and in an "SCCM Format" and you can then upload then into your SCCM admin console.     Does Lenovo do the same?  If so where are they SCCM driver packs?   Thanks.

Greetings, we received our first charges of Z440 workstations last week. We immediately downloaded the HP Z440 driverpack from http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x64.html and imported those into our System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2. Of course we did use the Win 8.1 drivers to inject into our boot image and wie normally imported the Windows 7 drivers for the Windows 7 deployment.Well, unfortunately SCCM WinPE5 does not show any drives installed, even with the correct drivers installed. We even tried to import  the WinPE 5 driver pack and the drivers from SoftPaq download manager, but none of those seemed to work. Is there any known issues with Z440s drivers and SCCM? Please help me out on this, it's pretty urgent. Thank you & kind regards

We were able to create a workaround with setting all RAID settings (including those of the eSATA ports) to AHCI. So now we see the drive. Still, with RAID mode we don't get any drives even with the correct drivers imported.

Hello, I am downloading the drivers for the T460s for OS:-Win8.1-Win7x32-Win7x64 and I could not help but notice that the package was build in January... by now most of the drivers need updates. When talking to my peers I was told to NOT use the Lan driver in the package and to import the single one as there are issues with it. My question is: WHEN are the SCCM packages going to be updated? I would understand if this was a T430 or even a T440s.... but a new model....  Please advice.

Hi all.

I've just received a shiny Z30-B (PT251A-008002) which will - if I can get this working - become the new workhorse for the work fleet.
Nice machine.

My only hurdle so far, is the very first one, getting it to boot into WinPE so I can apply a Task Sequence, and build it from SCCM.
I've found the correct LAN driver on the Intel website and applied it to the boot image, but it doesn't work.
I require the WinPE drivers.

The Intel package does contain "WinPE" drivers, but they don't actually seem to apply to my model laptop (if I look in the .inf file), and do not load, I tried them anyway.

If there was an SCCM driver package for this laptop, it would be awesome.
Failing that, just the LAN driver for WinPE would be perfect.

Appreciate any help or advice.

Thanks
Ryan

Hi,
I am using the Windows 7 x64 Driver CAB in SCCM 2012 to deploy drivers to the optiplex 7040.
The "Apply Driver Package"  step is failing when trying to install the drivers, i receive the below error messages

DISM.LOG
CBS - Failed to unload offline registry ntuser.dat ACCESSDENIED
Unfortunately it doesnt give me details of the driver that is failing, otherwise i could just package the driver and apply it as a package.
All other builds are deploying fine so its definitely something thats only affecting the dell model, am using a 64 bit boot image already.
anyone seen this before?
I've seen some other posts which mention to use a 64 bit boot image which i already am, and this boot image works fine on all other hardware models.

thanks

When running an SCCM 2012 R2 task sequence to install Windows 10 on a Z240, the network driver is working in Windows PE during the download and apply Windows image. I'm using Auto Apply Drivers step and after it's completed, the computer restarts into the Windows 10 OS, tries to set up the devices and then the task sequence fails because there is no network driver detected that it can use. I've tried to import multiple types of network drivers from both HP and Intel with no success. I've tried to specifically apply the Z240 driver package instead of using Auto Apply Drivers with no success. I've also tried to install a Windows 8.1 image instead and it still fails at the same point. I'm confused because it works fine in PE, but not after restarting and booting into the Windows OS. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I was wondering how bright the screens are on these. At least the Non Touch if different. Its hard to find detailed spec's on new product. They're said to have Mil Spec cooling which is good if true. Lenovo has not been great with quality cooling designs in notebooks. From what I have see the MB appear to be a notebook class (very small). Somewhere there is suppose to be an NVMe slot for SSD storage card but I couldn't see to on the few service doc's I found showing the removal. Anyone with these systems?

It's throwing an error "Windows was unable to start this device." I downloaded the Bluetooth driver from the driver download page for this model PC, imported it into MDT, updated the deployment share, but I still have this error. I contacted Lenovo support and their suggestion was to reinstall the OS from installation media and closed my ticket immediately after. I have a stack of 30 computers that I need to deploy in the next month or so, but I can't deploy them with incomplete drivers. Is there anyone else having this problem, and is there a way to resolve the issue with the driver pack?

I know has been asked before (many a time), but not for a new M810z. But I am trying to downgrade to Windows 7 as I dont want to roll out Windows 10 to my company.

I have a bootable Win7 USB with the USB3.0 and NVMe drivers embedded into it and I am getting the dreaded "No device drivers are found" error so obviously I have hit a road block. I know the USB 3.0 drivers are fine as the mouse and keyboard are working fine. So its obviously the device drivers for the SSD that I am lacking, even know I have installed the NVMe drivers into my USB. Or does anyone know where I can get the SSD drivers and not an exe file so I can try and give them to the install.

Has anyone managed to actually get Windows 7 running on one of AiO PC's? Or am I stuck in the problem with the new chipsets that dont support Windows 7?

Could do with some help.
Cheers....

Have you considered installing a Linux OS instead of Windows? Linux installers would likely identify the hardware and install
the proper drivers. Choosing the best Linux OS for that computer would depend on what it's resources are...amount of memory
for instance.
Unless you need XP for some program that will only run in XP then Linux would be a good choice.

If you would seriously consider using a Linux OS you can download one for free, burn it to a CD, DVD or a flash drive install.
Most Linux OSes can be run as Live, which means it doesn't even need a hdd....only will run from memory. Which allows you
to test for compatibility of the computer and you before deciding to install.

There is a Linux forum here at BC if you need assistance or recommendations.
