Strict diet or particular exercise regimen

Q: Strict diet or particular exercise regimen

There are Advanced Trim Cleanse 9 calories in most gram of fat, although at this point, you need to do not forget that there are 4 calories in every gram Advanced Trim Cleanse of carbohydrate and 4 in most gram of protein. The next phase is always to turn your fat intakes into gram Advanced Trim Cleanse portions. 720 divided by 4 = 180 grams of carbohydrates. 540 divided by 4 = 135 grams of protein. And 540 divided by 9 = 60 grams of fat. The last action is to consider your g figures and split by the full amount of foods you'll be able to fit Advanced Trim Cleanse in per-day (must be in the 4-6 meals variety). We'll use 5 dishes daily as our case Best Weight Loss Diet .

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I came across an exercise (in the book "The Art and Science of Java" by Eric Roberts) that requires using only GArc and GLine classes to create a lettering library which draws your initials on the canvas. This should be made independent of the GLabel class.
I'd like to know the correct approach to use in solving this problem. I'm not sure what I have so far is good enough (I'm thinking it's too long). The questions requires that I use a good Top-Down approach.

Here's my code: http://pastebin.com/FiuK3Zgw

I created a class (GLetter.java) with arrays for GArc and GLine objects. They are positioned in certain ways thereby turning certain Glines and/or GArcs on or off (changing visiblity) would create a pattern for a letter. This Gletter uses the if/else statements to determine which pattern to create - this makes me feel my code is too long.
There is another class (DrawInitials.java) that simulates a GraphicsProgram and allows the user to pass certain letters as arguments to the GLetter object. I've used 'L' and 'O' as examples.
However, I posted this because I'm not sure I'm using the right approach. That's why I need your help.
The code linked above is not the complete project...it only draws letters 'L' and 'O' for now.

Hey every one,

I'm a hard core gamer. I'm curious if any one knows of any type of exercise equipment that involves video games? The reason I ask this is becuase a long, long time ago there was this guy on the news. He said that hes kids always sat on the couch and did nothing but watch tv. The guy came up with a way for his kids to exercise while watching tv so he made some sort of contraption where the kids had to peddle there feet to power the tv. You no peddle, you no watch tv. The guy said he planned selling it the public.

I thought it was a neat idea. Do you guys know of any thing for a video gamer? The only thing I could think of is Dance Dance Revolution.

Have a good day,

With Word CLOSED, do a search for all instances of normal.dot and delete them (you'll probably need to [Tools -- Folder Options -- View] Show Hidden Files & Folders).

When you run Word again, it'll create a fresh normal.dot (the template on which all new docs are based).

I asked what was a good firewall that was easy to use and Online Armor was
suggested, so I installed and am using it.

But - every time I do something like download and install a new application,
such as I've recently been trying to do to get a decent music file downloader
and editor for copying music off of an old reel to reel - at every step along the
way of installing the program I get a question from Online Armor about should
they allow or block something - but there's no way of knowing what that
"something" is. So what good is that?

Case in point - I couldn't get Audacity to run, even with turning off all my security
apps, so I downloaded another suggeted app. While trying to install that, I again got
question after question from Online Armor asking if it should allow or block
something - and the only information given was the name of the file or whatever
it is - i.e. "IGB4TP1 10.03.02" Now just how am I supposed to have any
idea of what that is? And if it's harmful or not?

Just because it's associated with the application doesn't necessarily mean it's OK -
I once lost an entire nearly new hard drive and all the info to a bug placed in a security
program I downloaded off of this very site. And after over an hour working with an MS tech -
not just the help desk - he told me I was screwed.

So how does asking all those questions actually help someone if you have no clue

A:Firewall nothing but an exercise in frustration

Thread appears to have been moved out of V&M to another forum.

A comment about firewalls: they can be frustrating, they are easy to use, but you will need to do some research on how to determine what to and not to allow.

In answer to your question:

Isn't there any kind of firewall that can determine what is harmful and what is not on it's own?Click to expand...

The answer is Yes and No!
All firewalls come with the 'basics' such as closing ports known to be use for malware.
Some firewalls, like the Windows firewall, only listen at incoming ports.
Better firewalls, like Zone Alarm or Comodo, are known to be bidirectional. That is, they listen at both incoming and outgoing ports.
[o] Incoming means access is coming from the internet to your computer.
[o] Outgoing means something from within your computer is attempting to access the internet.
No firewall can make all the decisions without input from the user> this is because the user has to define which of his/her programs and apps should have internet access and what type of access.
Here is something I've saved about a firewall- non-geek, the basic understanding:

In the beginning was the firewall, and it was pretty good. A big box of rules that sat between your network and the evils of the Internet, the firewall examined ports and protocols to decide which packets got in and which were barred at the... Read more

Hello, I'm sure you've all heard this one before, but bear with me.

I've searched and searched for answers to this on google and in Microsoft's Knowledgebase. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get an open NAT on my Xbox 360.

I have Embarq DSL, with a ZyXEL 660 modem and a Motorola WR850G router. I'm positive the firmware for the router is the latest, as they don't even make the router any more, apparently.

Here's what I've tried: I did get a static IP to work on my Xbox 360 ( I tried forwarding all sorts of ports on the router (80, 88, 53, 3704, even 77 and 3330 at the suggestion of one guide I found), both UDP and TCP. The firewall on my modem is disabled (all I know is that the checkbox for "Enable Firewall" is unchecked), and the NAT for my modem is "all ports" forwarded to I've tried putting my Xbox 360's IP in the DMZ on my router, with no luck.

I'm out of ideas! I've downloaded PortForward.com's PFPortChecker program, put in a test port in my router's settings, and the checker reports the test port is open, so I don't know why my Xbox 360's status refuses to change from a strict NAT to an open one.

One last thing: When I had my xbox set to an automatic IP instead of a static one, I never got a strict NAT error (or even any error at all), so I don't think it's my ISP or anything like that.

Any advice would be appreciate... Read more

I got PlayStation 4 last time and I have a problem - I have a router TP-LINK TL-WR542G (no DD-WRT) and I plugged Ethernet cable into the PS4. Everything is working fine, download and upload speed is average (faster than Wi-Fi), but there's one major problem here. And that's NAT TYPE 3 - STRICT. I Googled literally for hours, tried EVERY solution possible (Port Forwarding, DMZ, UPnP, Wi-Fi and wired connect,... everything!) and I still can't get rid of it. Even on PC in every game I have Strict NAT. I realized that I don't have PUBLIC IP (I've got Private) and some people told me that I can't do anything without public IP. I tried to call my ISP and they said that unfortunately they don't offer public IPs and there's no another ISP in my local area. I am REALLY frustrated, because voice chat, Share Play, online games etc. don't work properly and I want to play with my friends.
I've read some articles and I know about VPN connections. Not that it's secured and nobody can see what am I doing, but I will get even Public IP (as one of the personnel told me) and MAYBE it might help me with this. Is there ANY other solution? To be honest, I've tried really everything. I am living in Czech Republic and my ISP isn't bad, just doesn't offer this option. Will VPN help me? Is there any way to get rid of this? A:NAT Xbox Live 'Strict'

general options for getting your NAT Status to Open

There are four ways to overcome a Strict/Moderate NAT setting when using a router. I have listed them in the order of preference:-

1. If you have an Xbox Live Certified router, use the certified firmware for your router
2. Use UPnP. If your router supports this. Turn it on. The router will work out the ports it needs to open for Xbox live. If your router does not have this feature, check the manufacturers website for the latest firmware. (also make sure portforwarding and/or DMZ is turned off as they interfere with UPnP)
3. Port forwarding (look up your router here then follow the instructions for Xbox Live 360) http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
4. Use a DMZ (De-militarized Zone)
The DMZ (De-militarized Zone) is area that sits outside of your routers firewall. Don't worry though your not at risk with your Xbox

Do not mix and match portfowarding with UPnP and/or DMZ. Each of the methods should be used on their own. Do not turn on UPnP and expect to be able to setup a DMZ or Portforward.

If UPnP is not an option for you, or you have tried it and it does not work. Look up your router here then follow the instructions for Xbox Live 360. When you port forward the ip address that you need to forward to is the ip address of the Xbox. It is always best to use a static ip address when portforwarding, see this section for more details.

OK so heres the story. I have a 2in1 Modem and Wireless Router (Netgear CG3101D), I am running an ethernet cable off of that into a WIRED Linksys router (BEFSR41) in another room. I then want to run an ethernet cable from the wired linksys router into an xbox 360. However I just cant get the xbox to work with an OPEN NAT setting. I have tried opening the ports on the 2in1 router/modem and on the linksys router and turning uPnP on on both of them and also DMZ relative to a static IP that I set for the xbox.

I have also tested the xbox directly into the 2in1 router/modem and it works fine with an OPEN NAT so i know its definitely something to do with the wired router.

Does anyone have a slight clue about how to go about fixing this?

Thanks, Steve.

Hi all,

I'm using a Thomson ST585 router - software release this is the router that comes with Tiscali Homechoice in the UK and has worked fine for me over XboxLive for a good 3 months, with NAT setting set to Open.

I've come to use it for Xbox Live today, and I find that the NAT settings are now set to Strict, even though no settings have been altered on the Xbox or on the Router.

The only thing I can think of that has changd on my home network is I've played online games on my Wii (mariokart).

After googling this problem, I've made sure all my network devices are set to be automatically assigned IP and DNS addresses, but like I say I haven't changes any settings for this to suddenly set my NAT to Strict. Any ideas?

Also, can anyone tell me what Link and Act mean in the Network Settings page on my 360? Link has a green dot next to it, and Act will very rarely show a yellow dot, then will disappear.

Thanks all.

Q: Diet 7

Hello all,

Well, I need some help here. I produce music with several software and hardware, audio interfaces, synths and software synths. Now, I'll try to use and test Windows 7 on this, under serious works. Since I use MAC for that, my windows laptop has no GREAT hardware, but I think it will do the work. Core 2 Duo 1,6 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 120 HD.

So this is what I need: to clean an installation of Windows 7 to keep it as light as possible. I mean, no internet or networks, so, no antivirus or firewall. Disable AS MUCH AS IT CAN BE DISABLED to run heavy apps FAST. As I did one time on XP, I managed to get like 120 MB of RAM used and 17 processes running in a very stable system to work with. I want to do the same with 7 and test stability of system, since I and many people use their laptops to play live shows, this info could be really useful, as well as DPC latencies and other stuff.

In Xp I disabled services, installed just the necessary drivers, disabled networks and kept the color display at 16 bit. I think that Win 7 should not be that different: disable services, etc. BUT, I see that it installs network drivers automatically and enables that. I don't want that. I also plan to disable windows aero.

Any ideas? Thanks!

A:Diet 7

Well you can most likely disable network drivers and just about anything else.

But to be honest 7 is very stable at least in the 7000 build and considering it is still in beta by the time the real version comes out I am sure it will run very fast regardless of what you have running.

On a fresh start up using 4gigs of ram windows 7 with everything enabled uses just under 1gig.

Point being that even if you leave it stock settings it is going to be very very stable and fast.

Hey. I just wanted to throw this out here. I am still seeing a lot of NAT type related issues, as well as difficulties in resolving the issues.

When you are trying to hash this out, you have to keep all of the details in mind. Most of the replies I see talk about the wireless router, like my WRT54G from linksys. We can go back and forth all day about how to forward my ports, or set port triggering....but no one, usually, will talk about the actual "border" device that is the only one in the network that has any business performing the NAT function at all. The wireless router does not need to perform NAT, if it is connected to a modem with NAT capabilities. Keep that in mind as you work through the issue and seek answers. Networking is ALL about the details......(and acronyms, but that's another story).

Happy Hunting! Please, if you have more to add here, do it. Good day.

Windows 7 on a Diet, to Match the Hardware Requirements of the Vista Hog

Under the leadership of Steven "Don't Call Me Transparent" Sinofsky, Senior Vice President, Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, Microsoft will no longer repeat the five year gap between Windows XP and Windows Vista, or the mistakes done with the latest Windows client. The first sign that the Windows 7 apple will drop fat from the Windows Vista tree is the fact that the next iteration of Windows, due at the end of 2009, will be tailored for the same hardware infrastructure as XP's successor.

Rather than being a re-write of Microsoft's proprietary operating system, Windows 7
will simply build on top of Windows Vista's graphics, audio, and storage subsystems. At the same time, the Vista kernel will evolve into Windows 7's core, as Sinofsky and Christopher Flores, Director Windows Communications denied that Microsoft is building a new kernel from the ground up. Windows 7 will indeed feature an advanced model of componentization and a new kernel architecture, but it will do it by straying only superficially from what Vista is today.

"While these changes will increase our engineering agility, they will not impact the user experience or reduce application or hardware compatibility. In fact, one of our design goals for Windows 7 is that it will run on the recommended hardware we specified for Windows Vista and that the applications and devices that work with Windows Vista will be... A:My Diet Patch Ad Pop Up Please Help

Hello, and welcome to TSF.

A couple of infections there; we'll use the tools, first.

You have the Peper infection. Download PeperUninstall. Make sure you are connected online to run this program. Run it once and reboot. Then run it again for the second time. Download PeperFix and save it to your Desktop. Run it and click Find and Fix (reboot if prompted).

Download CWShredder and click on Fix (it will automatically fix anything it finds for you). If it asks if you want to delete a certain random file, choose No and post that filename here.

Please download Ad-aware SE and install it if you don't have it already. Make sure it's the newest version and check for any updates before running it. Go to this site to get the plug-in for fixing VX2 variants. To run this tool, go into Ad-aware->Add-ons and select VX2 Cleaner. Then click Run Tool and OK to start it. If it's clean, it will say Status System Clean. Otherwise, you will have to click on the Clean button to remove the VX2 infection. Also make sure to customize the settings in Ad-aware for better scan results. Run the scan and fix everything that it finds.

Then, reboot and post a new HJT log

Hi Dillon, wow, you were away for awhile. Let's get this log cleaned up now....

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

I see you have P2P software installed on your machine (i.e. Trillian). We are not here to pass judgement on file-sharing as a concept. However, we will warn you that engaging in this activity and having this kind of software installed on your machine will always make you more susceptible to a re-infection. It is certainly a contributor to your current situation. I will make recommendations below for removal, which you can choose to ignore where this P2P application is involved. It's your decision.

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Resto... Read more
