Can only open browsers in safe mode, can't get windows updates

Q: Can only open browsers in safe mode, can't get windows updates

Running Internet explorer 7 , Firefox 3.5.18 and Vista Home Basic. Compaq Desktop computer.
Problem started this morning, couldn't turn on the PC. No power. Checked cords and plugs ,monitor would turn on ,printer worked so it's nothing to do with powerboards, sockets, electricity. Waited 10 mins and tried again. The pc powered up to the windows log in screen. I left it and came back 20 mins later and the light behind the power on/off button had gone from green to amber and the screen was blank. My initial thought was the PSU. I rebooted and got it working however Internet explorer wouldn't open but firefox would. I ran avg but could not open the home page to see the results of the scan. I closed firefox and tried to reboot but got an error message saying firefox was still running. I started the task manager only it wouldn't display, I could see the green icon only in the bottom toolbar. I couldn't see the taskmanager even though it was running. I powered down by holding in the on/off button for 10 seconds. Rebooted into safemode. I can run both browsers in safe mode. I downloaded spybot ,got updates and ran it and fixed the problems it found. I installed avira and ran it. It found 1 problem,
EXP/ms04-028.jpeg.A which was removed.
I was unable to get into windows update to get the online scan in either normal or safe mode. I'm not sure if the problem is a virus or not since after removing ms04-028 I still have the problem.
Any suggestions? and I apologise if this is in the wrong forum. Thanks

Preferred Solution: Can only open browsers in safe mode, can't get windows updates

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi Guys, my Dad's been having problems with his laptop of late and picked up a virus which caused all sorts of trouble, he appeared to have cleared it. However yesterday when he came to log on to the net the browser wouldn't open, he normally uses Firefox, but has IE and Chrome installed but likewise neither will open. You double-click on the icon a window goes to appear but then disappears.

Any help would be greatly be appreciated.

One small note when I tried to run Hijack this, it came up with a message Denied Access to Hosts file.

Recently, whenever I click on any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Mozilla), the icon highlights for a few seconds then fades without opening a window. I did virus scans and went back to the farthest restore point I could, but no dice. Strangely, I am able to open browser windows when my laptop is in Safe Mode. My OS is Windows 7. Any ideas why this could be happening? Assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello there,

My laptop died before Christmas and I've been given an old Dell Optiplex GX280 Desktop. It has 1.5GB of RAM memory, but I've just ordered another 2GB. It was all working fine (albeit slowly) until last night when Firefox and then Internet Explorer 8 would not open.
I know I can connect to the internet because I could get onto the iTunes Store, but clicking the Firefox icon did nothing. IE8 will open (after a long time) but won't connect to any web pages except in Safe Mode. Firefox wouldn't open in Safe Mode. I have now removed Firefox.

I have done a system restore to the very first point that I turned the PC on and I have removed Google Chrome, Google Toolbar and, finally Firefox - which I had to remove by deleting the folders because clicking Remove in Add/Remove Programs did nothing.

I still can't connect to the internet via the web browser (other than in Safe Mode) though. Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Hey guys,

Was tasked to fix another laptop. Oddly enough this issue is similar to the one I fixed a few weeks ago, found here:

This is for a Windows XP Media Center edition laptop. I attempted to run Last Known Good Configuration, however that didn't resolve anything. Reading the preparation guide, I attempted to download and run DDS.com, however it would not run on the laptop. When attempting to run that, as well as any of the internet programs on the laptop, I see the hour glass real quickly and then that's it. I didn't notice anything in the error logs regarding the applications attempting to run.

I attempted to run both Safe Mode and Safe Mode w/ command prompt. Safe mode will load, however it only gets me to the black splash screen saying it's in safe mode and the mouse cursor. ctrl+alt+delete won't work for me to load explorer.

Please let me know where to start so that we can resolve this issue. I have a feeling where to start but I know as well as any it's very annoying when people want to jump 5 steps ahead.

OK, so I got some kind of malware/virus where i kept getting the same "important security alert" pop-up every time I clicked on something. So, I ran a system restore thinking that it would take care of it. Well, it didnt. On top of that, after I completed the system restore, my internet browsers now only work in safe mode. I definitely have an internet connection and when I try to run the automatic troubleshooting it says there is nothing wrong with the connection. After that, I downloaded Super AV and malwarebytes and ran them. They found a ton of stuff and I got rid of it. Still, my internet browsers would only work in safe mode. So, I looked on this forum and read about a clean startup. So i used msconfig, hid all the microsoft processes and disabled all the remaining applications. Still, no internet browser. Then, I read having two anti virus applications can cause this problem. So, I uninstalled my Norton 360 that had long since expired. Nothing. Uninstalled Super AV and malwarebytes. Still nothing. I have no idea what it could be. If someone could give me some guidance I would really appreciate it. Ive surfed every forum I could find and tried everything that my level of computer expertise allowed. Now Im at the point that I don't want to screw anything up.

I'm not exactly sure with what I downloaded, but all that i think i have downloaded in the past week are PDF docs and videos from hdvideo (when the problem started to happen). From there, I could only surf on Safe Mode with networking, whereas when I start windows vista normally, things do not open when I attempt to do so. Moreover, it takes forever when i press Ctrl Alt Dlt, but there it says the system "failed to start security options" and from there it's an eerie black screen with the start logo on the bottom left that cannot be clicked. The only method I could get the computer to restart was to manually switch it off and on.
I recently used Malwarebytes but it did not detect anything.

Additional details about my laptop:
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8400 (2.26GHz)
Windows vista home premium
Memory 2GB
Hard Disk drive 250gb

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, I really need printing back <3

Hi ,

I'm using windows7 32-bit operating system. I have internet explorer 8( it never worked since installation, always shows "No network connection") and Google chrome installed in my computer. I had been using Google chrome which crashed yesterday. I re-installed Chrome and now it says there is no internet connection. In short, I cannot use internet in my computer. Any other browser installed comes up showing the same "No Network connectivity" thing. And then I started the computer in "safe mode with networking" and I could use see that both Google chrome and Internet explorer are working. But they do not work in normal mode. I really don't know what to do to solve this problem. And internet is working as I'm using internet in my mobile using WIFI from the same internet connection.

Thanks you,

This morning I saw the latest Windows 7 updates on an old computer I have (A VM running in XCP-NG) to run an old version of Confluence Wiki but that's not really important.
After installing the updates and rebooting the VM is so slow that it looks frozen at times. I restarted it in safe mode to remove the updates but when I access the Windows Updates list from Programs and Features it shows "No updates installed."
Has anyone else seen something like this? I have backups of this VM so I'm working to restore from a backup and before you ask, I know - I have to update that Win7 machine to a more recent version of Windows.
Thanks in advance and best regards.

If you do not have a Windows 7 installation DVD, or it's not up to the Service Pack level currently installed, you can download a legal copy with SP1 integrated from here:

Windows 7 Direct Download Links

Make sure you get the same version you have, Home Premium, Pro or Ultimate and 32 or 64 bit. Note that Basic or Starter is not available.

I recommend using ImgBurn at 4X speed (or the slowest available) to create the DVD from the downloaded .iso file. Just be careful during the install not to accidentally install some of the bundled junk that comes with it. Always take The Custom Install option.

You can do this on any computer capable of burning a DVD.

The one on the COA sticker on your computer will work.

You can also create a bootable USB Flash drive (4GB or larger) to install Windows 7 from.Download and run Universal USB Installer Easy as 1 2 3
Select Windows 7 from the first drop down list, all the way to the bottom
Select the downloaded Windows 7 iso file
Select your USB flash drive
Click Create
For techies or folks who work on computers:

Create Windows 7 Universal ISO With All Editions Selection On Install with ei.cfg Removal Utility.

This will fit on a 6GB flash drive or can be burned to a DVD.

Once you have that, run chkdsk and System File Checker (SFC) from the Recovery ConsoleBoot your Windows 7 installation DVD or Flash drive

A couple days ago I got the ultradefraggerfraud (as Symantec calls it) on my old old Dell Inspiron Latitude D620 running XP Professional. I successfully got rid of it (as far as I can tell all was working properly) by using AntiMalwareBytes in safe mode followed by Ccleaner. Everything was running normally afterward.

When I went to bed and shut down the computer, it automatically installed updates from Microsoft. The next morning, when I turned on the computer which had been working fine before, I got the black screen and blinking cursor. I cannot get into safe mode at all. Nothing happens when I hit f8 or f1 after turning on. All I get is the black screen and a loud beep whenever I hit any keys.

I can get into Setup, but I don't know what to do there (if anything).

Rather than just give up and reinstall Windows XP, I thought I'd try to see if anyone here can help. Since the laptop was working fine before Windows Updates, it makes me think that perhaps there's a simple way (or at least some way) to fix this. I really don't want to have to reinstall from scratch if I can help it. I'm convinced the Windows updates had something to do with this.

Can anyone help me?

I need help. My laptop won't open windows, not even in safe mode. It is a Compaq v2000 with windows XP home version & SP2. Here is what happened. I have MSN dialup service, but I went to the local library & downloaded McAfee free antivirus for MSN at my local library via wireless high speed there. Then I started having blue screen issues. I used the automatic reporting system to report the problem. Microsoft sent me back an automatic response with recommendations to fix the problem. One of the things they recommended was to go to My Computer, right click the drive and then properties, click on tools and then scan the disk. That sounded innocent enough, so that is what I did for the files. Well then I got a message:insufficient disk space to correct errors in index $SII of file 9. Now I thought I had about a third of my hard drive free, but maybe it got filled with the dump files from the blue screen errors? Anyway, after that message when I try to start my computer I get the initial screen, and then a screen with choices to start in safe mode. But no matter which choice I try, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with command prompt, the last configuration that worked, normal, they all have the same result. There is a page that quickly fills with lines of I guess steps the computer tries, it is too fast for me to read, and then I get another blue screen, again too fast for me to record what it says. Then the computer shuts down, starts again and repeats the process and continues... Read more

I'm tearing my hair out with this one. Suddenly, and for no apparent reason that I can see, Windows 7 won't load at all. Everything was working fine until today.

When Windows looks like it is starting, the "Windows is loading files..." message comes up. It then goes into Startup Repair, which either can't detect problem or "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically". I have tried pressing F8 for the safe mode menu, but none of the options there work either as selecting any of them just ends up in Startup Repair again. Sadly I have no system restore point or system image to reload. I have run the Windows Memory Diagnostic, which found no problems. I know that reloading Windows is almost certain to fix this problem, but I have a handful of files that I really, really don't want to lose by doing this. Is there any way that I can save my files??

Any advice would be much appreciated.

A:Windows won't open; safe mode won't work

I would think that a check of the hard drive itself would be in order...as for saving files, you can remove the hard drive and attach it to a different system as a secondary drive...and then move data files (not programs) to another partition/drive or removeable media.

Hi I'm having some serious problems since last night. All of a sudden my computer restarted on its own and when it restarted none of my programs loaded up in the taskbar and only certain programs will open like IE 64. I tried doing "sfc /scannow" about 5 times with no results and most of the other threads I've followed turn out to be dead ends involving the subject. Not sure if its a virus or what. The one thing that did happen though.. was I was tinkering around with settings and restarted it in normal mode yesterday and everything loaded up(after it had been giving me the problems with nothing opening) So I ran AVG, Malware Bytes, and AD-Aware while I had the chance but when I restarted nothing is working again. Also I tried downloading .exe and .ink registries and merging them as I read in other threads but this didnt work either. Any ideas? And keep in mind I cant run any programs except IE 64, I can't open up any type of compressed file because winzip/winrar wont open. I did however download a few registry's and they opened fine but they were straight up registry files unpacked. I tried to do a system restore and all my restore points were deleted aside from ones that were created after I had restarted my computer to find it not functioning properly so thats useless. And I have no access to my OS disc to do a repair. Please help.. normally I can find fix's when I have computer issues but I'm clueless here. Thank you.

Sony VAIO VPC series laptop w/ Core i7 Q740 w/4GB RAM working on for a client. Malwarebytes pulled up 26 infections, and I thought that was the solution to constant lag problems and lag when typing. Turned Norton features off, CHKDSK, adjusted desktop setting for Best Performance, ran in Safe Mode, no change. Even when typing in the password there is sometimes a lag. I've read numerous posts on this subject on this forum and throughout the web. Client has another laptop of this same exact model and it screams. CPU usage is very low when lag happens - 0 to 2%. Used Process Explorer and Svchost Viewer to investigate and rogue programs - everything looks legit. (I can post screenshots). I thought a svchost.exe file was running some higher than normal usage, but it was just handing more services, and even after I killed the process tree - still got lag. It is intermittent, but only with a few seconds at a time of performance.
Another tech buddy said there might be an issue with the hard drive as far as SATA issues, etc., or BIOS settings, and that some of the Sandy Bridge i7's had a SATA issue of some sort. I've tried most everything the average user might mention - I've put a few hours into this - I solve most issues without posting for help, but this is bugging me - there has to be a solution to this that doesn't involve a clean install - especially since the post at When Typing There Is a Delay shows that a clean install doesn't always solve these types of problem... I was fed up with IE so i decided to try some other browsers, namely Netscape, Firefox, and Opera. None of them are able to connect to the Internet. When I boot up in Safe Mode, however, all three work properly. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the browsers to work in normal mode? I'm running XP, btw.

A:Non-IE Browsers only work in Safe Mode

What Safe Mode are you referring to? No browser can connect to the Internet in Safe Mode.

Hi all,
after scanning my computer with Avast my browsers have stopped working in normal mode but they're still ok in safe mode. I've been having a bit of bother in the last while: computer running slow and CPU usage constantly near 100% even when I'm not running any app at all. Things improved a little since I started using Advanced SystemCare but feeling that something was still strange, I run Avast and here I am.
Please help. Thank you.

So I just started getting redirects on any link i would open. Followed by the blue screen that showed a bunch of errors that most were out of the screen to see. After that the computer would get to the screen showing the user accounts but upon clicking they would just freeze. The only way to get past that screen is to be in safe mode. I followed the beginning steps and downloaded the malware removal software that found about 21 infected files and then fixed them. Did another sweep which found none. Still will not work. I had to paste the logs because the computer will not let me resave any files in safe mode right now.

A:all browsers crash even in safe mode with networking...

One way to try and resolve the issue is to:
1) Reset the CMOS/BIOS to factory defaults, and then
2) run diags on both the RAM and the hard drive.
IF it passes both tests, then
3) backup your stuff (in Safe mode) and
4) re-install the Operating Systerm from scratch.
If the computer still doesn't operate correctly, more than likely there are failing/failed and/or incompatible hardware problems somewhere.

Okay. So about 2 weeks ago my internet connection was upgraded to a faster speed and ADSL2+. I was using a cheap USB Wireless adapter which stopped connecting to the internet, I assumed it was because it didn't support the newer connection or whatever so I ordered a cable. That didn't seem to solve the problem though so I'm assuming that I downloaded something or got infected at some point and that's messing with my browsers.
The problem lies in that I am connected to the network but can't browse. Chrome stays in an infinite loading loop, IE stops responding then starts and stops again etc. and Firefox loads the homepage and crashes. Programs like Steam and Messenger also won't log in.
I booted up in Safe Mode and browsing worked fine and then I found that I can browse using Avast's SafeZone Browser thing in not safe mode.
I've run scans with Malwarebytes and Avast among others and nothing found a problem. I tried doing a clean boot to find out what was affecting the browsers but to no avail.
Also, I may have screwed up the settings of some things while searching Google for answers, so if I should reset some settings as part of a solution please point that out.
Any help is much appreciated. I'm pretty terrible at maintaining a healthy computer. :D
Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1.
EDIT: On a whim I decided to run Malwarebytes again and it has been going for ~20 minutes and found a few objects. I'm not sure why the firs... Read more

I have been unable to access the internet through any browser (IE, Firefox, safari) and my anti-virus (trend micro) can not update.

I was using the internet yesterday and my laptop (dell that is using XP) closed because the battery ran out of juice. When I plugged it in again and restarted, I could not get a "connection". I get signals and they appear to be fine.

I restored to different points multiple times.

I was able to "connect" twice. Only breifly after a restore and after installing a MS security update, but than nothing.

I was also able to "connect" once using a ether net cord, but then after less than a minute, blocked.

TrendMicro is logging the blocking of access messages something to do with webcam and ie explorer changes. I never saw these before and don't have access or remember exactly at the moment.

I am able to access the internet now through an ethernet cord in safe mode.

I do not know what to do. I feel like it could be a progressive issue, because before entering safe mode this time. I was unable to open any programs through the start menu because I would get a message saying that not enough memory please close down programs even if I did not have any open.

Any help appreciated.

A:Can't use browsers to connect to internet unless in safe mode

Before we start fixing anything you should print out these instructions or copy them to a NotePad file so they will be accessible. Some steps will require you to disconnect from the Internet or use Safe Mode and you will not have access to this page. Please download DrWeb-CureIt and save it to your desktop. DO NOT perform a scan yet.Reboot your computer in "Safe Mode" using the F8 method. To do this, restart your computer and after hearing your computer beep once during startup (but before the Windows icon appears) press the F8 key repeatedly. A menu will appear with several options. Use the arrow keys to navigate and select the option to run Windows in "Safe Mode".Scan with Dr.Web CureIt as follows:Double-click on drweb-cureit.exe to open the program and click Start. (There is no need to update if you just downloaded the most current versionRead the Virus check by DrWeb scanner prompt and click Ok where asked to Start scan now? Allow the setup.exe to load if asked by any of your security programs. The Express scan will automatically begin.
(This is a short scan of files currently running in memory, boot sectors, and targeted folders). If prompted to dowload the Full version Free Trial, ignore and click the X to close the window. If an infected object is found, you will be prompted to move anything that cannot be cured. Click Yes to All.When complete, click Select All, then choose Cure > Move incurable.

Hi folks,

When computer first loads up I get this message:
"avgwdsvc.exe encountered a problem and needed to close"

internet explorer and firefox do not work. However, IE works when started "with no add ons" and firefox works in safe mode. Email works.

I'm worried I have a virus. I'm not able to run avg to do a virus check because it crashes every time it is loaded.

I've installed and run three anti malware programs but the problem is still present

Would really appreciate some help.

Last night, out of nowhere, I noticed that every 15 seconds or so the computer would seem to freeze and then unfreeze after about 5 seconds or so. The computer has never done this before. I decided to restart, and this is when things started getting bad. After restarting, the computer seemed to boot up fine, but when I clicked on firefox, it seemed to lock up completely. The taskbar didn't seem to be affected, so I clicked start. The frame of the start window opened, but everything inside was white, and that too appeared frozen. I hit ctrl-alt-del, and nothing happened, the computer stayed locked.

I turned the computer off manually and tried restarting in safe mode. The computer started to boot until it reached a specific process (I don't remember which). It was stuck on that process for about 15 minutes, and then it just turned itself off.

I turned the computer back on again and let it boot fully while I took a shower, so it had about 30 minutes to fully boot. I come back and everything seems to be working, icons are highlighting as I hovered over them, the start menu worked, right-click menu's appeared, etc. I opened up a folder with some movies on my desktop. It loaded fine. I click a movie, and it begins playing, but then all of the sudden the whole thing freezes, and I can't open anything in the background. I hit ctrl-alt-del, and this time it actually worked. I chose task manager, and although it took 5 minutes to actually appear, I was happy to ... Read more

I own a Windows 7 PC. I am having trouble turning on my computer. Each time I try to access my user account or that of others I either end up with a black screen with only the mouse pointer visible or it opens to the user desktop but I really can not do much else; the only programs I can open are things like My Computer and the Control Panel, but when I try to access anything within these, the pointer has the little blue circle that says it's working, but nothing happens even after 20 mins or so; and I have to end up restarting via the button on the front of the computer. It does not recognize my home network so I can not get any Internet. I tried retiring the computer back about three days but each time it fails and says something about my anti-virus software interfering, I turned off that software and it still gives me the same message.
I can open the computer in Safe Mode with networking, and I can access my home network as it should and access the Internet. I can also access the basic programs as I should and have tried system recover but it gives me the same message as in normal mode.
I have an external hard drive that I tried booting from but I don't even know if it worked, because I have the same problems. The external hard drive has a back-up/restore function but it says I can not do that from safe mode, and when I clicked restore options after I opened the file on the hard drive while in normal mode it just froze again.
I really have know idea what is going on.... Read more

A:Trouble loading in normal mode have to open in safe mode

Hi, it sounds as if something suspect is running on your computer or as if too many applications are trying to open when you boot the machine. Do you remember installing or using anything new prior to the issue occurring?

The easiest way to fix this would be to strip down the startup programs and see if that helps the issue. There is however some risk associated with doing this, you have to be confident that you can turn off a start up program without it diminishing your computer's functionality. If you're interested in trying this then there's instructions on how to disable start up programs here. And if you're unsure of whether or not to disable a program googling it's "startup name" will give you an idea of what it does, essentially what you're trying to do is stop un-necessary programs from running when the computer starts. So things like updaters, monitering programs, a lot of things that show up in the system tray can be disabled. If you're still unsure then post a list of the start up items and we can give you an idea of what's going on. You may have to do this from safe mode (ensure you're logged in as an administrator) however once you restart you should notice an immediate difference. If you don't then the problem could be with OS damage or something a little more difficult to fix, if that's the case i'd advise that you possibly post in the virus/spyware/trojan help forum and the people there can give a little more in depth analysis of what's going on.... After a fresh windows install,
I get warnings like 'your connection is not private' when I try to view webpages on Google chrome, and 'there's a problem with this website certificate' when using internet explorer.
Also, some webpages dont display very well, the pictures are missing and the text layout is wrong.
I set my clock to the right time, it was wrong, but I rectified it.
But I'm still getting these problems
I'm running windows 7 ultimate x64
Any ideas?
Thanks, the Venerable

A:Browsers wont even open safe webpages like google

Does the same thing more or less happen using Internet Explorer and/or Firefox?  After the fresh reinstall, what, if any, 3rd party monitoring and/or security programs were installed?  When the BC regulars [techs] appear in here, follow their advice, they won't steer you wrong

Perhaps at some point in the past month or so, a driver/software update or new program created an unexpected by-product: browser "interference". 1) When entering a URL, Chrome processes it, goes to the website, but shows a blank page, 2) Firefox is unable to show some pages (error report), and 3) Internet Explorer shows an error messages saying that it can't connect to the website.

I've ruled out a LOT of possibilities: clearing out the cache, turning off pre-fetching in Chrome, refreshing IP, virus check, malware check, rebooting computer/router/wifi, trying privacy mode in the various browsers (in the event add-ons are causing the problem), deleting and downloading the browsers, deleting Firefox altogether, defragmentation, troubleshooting web connection. None of this had an impact.

HOWEVER, when I ran Windows 7 in safemode, not only was the browser lightning fast, I had ZERO problems pulling up pages. The problem was gone. So, here's where I need your help. What does this tell me? Is it telling me that the problem has to do with a driver or background program that is disbled in safemode but causing problems otherwise? If so, is the next step to reduce the number of programs running in the background? If so, how do I go about determining which ones to disable? If I use system config, are those choices reversible in the event it causes a problem? Is Black Viper the solution or the roadmap to guaranteed problems? I loved the browser speed and responsiveness in... Read more

A:How to open the computer in normal mode and not safe mode

Hold the "Windows" key and the "R" key. Type msconfig in the window that opens:

Go to the "boot" tab and uncheck "safe boot":

Click "Apply" and "OK" and restart the PC. It should then boot in normal mode.

I ran Malwarebytes and Superantivirus, and it didn't help. Please help.
Per prep instructions, I ran DDS and Defogger, and made sure Win Firewall is up.

A:Can't get Win updates or get into Safe Mode

No need for follow-up or help with this issue. It's not a malware problem. I had corrupt and missing files causing my problem. I worked with the Microsoft support team, and they helped me find the problem. Unfortunately, we couldn't get all the missing files. So, they are going to help me upgrade to Win 7.

I must say that they are rapidly changing the image of Microsoft from being an unresponsive software company to a customer focused company. I have never gotten such great service from any vendor, and at no cost to me. These guys went the extra mile for me. They were very responsive and skillful. And they are a Microsoft overseas outsource team. Forget what you heard about outsourced teams. They speak better English than some of us in the USA...very skillful and a job well done. :-)
