I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi, My Sound lags/stutters on Video Games and or Youtube videos the most common problem for this is for example if im watching a youtube video or listening to a Podcast and browsing the web the sound stutters and glitches out and lags my whole computer.
My Computer Specs are Listed below.

GPU: GeForce GT 730

CPU: AMD FX 4300 Quad Core

Audio: Realtek HD Audio.
I just bought this Computer March 17th 2015 from IBuyPower so i don't know whats wrong with it

A:Windows 8.1 Sound Stuttering when Watching Youtube/Games

I assume, from your post, that this is only with on-line media.

Internet connection and speeds or congestion can cause what you are hearing. I have a high speed cable line (80 Mb/sec) and occasionally I get buffering on youtube. The originating server can cause this too.

Run a speed test and see what you come up with.

Hi all,

Im new here, and I hear this is the best place to get help with my current issue. Recently I installed beta drivers from amd (14.6) and whenever I watch videos on you tube or facebook I get a bluescreen shortly after. It goes so quick that I cant really read what the problem is, but when I go check in reliability report I see this.

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033
Extra information about the problem
BCCode: 3b
BCP1: 00000000C0000005

BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Now I have since changed to a different beta driver (14.7) and It wasn't happening yesterday but today Im getting blue screens again when watching videos. I am currently back on 14.4 (official release) and it hasn't happened yet although its only been a few hours. truthfully I don't even know if its the video card drivers that could be causing but its only thing I have modified on the system since the problem started.

Any help or advice you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Sorry about the title, I don't know what to say.

When playing any game or watching any video (on hard drive, dvd or streaming) or playing any game (2d simple, 3d intensive) my computer gets lag spikes and stutters, the sound kind of freezes every time it pauses.

My PC has never had this problem before, it started a couple of days ago.

My graphics card drivers are up to date and I have no idea what to do.

Thanks.

This is driving me crazy. Every YouTube vid moves inside the window like someone behind the camera is shaking it violently. The motion distorts into mosaic-like pixelation. I have noticed that this happens only when there is actual motion in the video.

For example, if someone is moving. If there is a still shot of the person, or if just a bunch of text is shown, no stuttering occurs.

And, if I move my cursor constantly inside the vid while it plays, the stuttering stops, but I can't continuously do that!

We're talking about a Windows 7 Fujitsu on Firefox with the latest updates. It's on a university server in Japan, hardwire connected, not wifi.

A wifi connected Panasonic laptop with Windows 8 shows none of this.

A:Dell inspiron 1750

It would be best to return the system to the seller for a refund.  If that's not possible, they'll need to transfer ownership to your name, so you can call Dell and have the password removed.  This will cost you a support call (about $60 in the US).
If they cannot initiate a transfer for you, you're going to be adding the cost of a replacement system board (which could be a few hundred dollars) to what you paid for the system.

Hi there People

I am at a B & B and one of the residents has brought his laptop to me to try and sort out.

He has a Dell Inspiron 1750 - 8424.

It was running Vista but it is now running Windows 7

I have looked at it and it will not boot up.

the message on the screen is as follows:-

Windows Boot Manager

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.

2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next"

3. Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Status: 0xc000000f

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

Any help please, the worst thing is he is Hungarian so we are doing everything through Google translator.

What I plan to do is download a boot file to a usb stick and then make the laptop recognise the stick if possible.

Regards

Tony

A while back i got a inspiron 1750  laptop as part of a school certification in rubyonrails.
This was 2010 or so.
The bummer is as i understood this was a 64bit laptop.. but the school wouldnt let dell put a vista64 on it.. only vista32) ..they also previously wouldnt give us Apple laptops.

Anyway,,  just to see if it would work,.. I put win10 on it.. (but of course its not licensed) ..But i already have a tablet and a desktop both that are win10 (tablet is a surfacepro3 and desktop is a very new win7deskttop that was easy to go to win10.

Anyway, I have dvd for slackware and a dvd for mint18-cinnemon (spelling i know)
Im having problems with getting the built in wireless to work as it did previously.
In fact it worked win i had vista32 and a older linux .... dual boots usualy seem to make things work easier.
So I know linux will work on the laptop in a dualboot..      Any linux related advise as far as drivers??

.. im going to try the linux forum suggestions i have...Im not going to buy a new laptop... my tablet is in fact has more ram and more power and more hd..   but  do figure on doubling the ram on the laptop..and maybe even chk into having a ssd in the laptop.. ?

Hi !
I have a Dell Inspiron 1750 LapTop with 4Gb installed. 2 x 2Gb working fine.
I bought 2 x 4Gb DDR2 6400 800Mhz, once I installed the 2 memories the laptop didn't start, only the white light shows on. No fan, no hard drive running.

I installed only one memory on slot 2 and the computer works fine.
I switched the memory to slot 1 and again the laptop doesn't start.

Seems that slot 1 is faulty. But it used to work fine before I tried to install the new memories.

Now I can only use slot 2 with a 2Gb or the 4Gb. If I put both 2 Go like it was the laptop won't start.

Any idea how to make it works?

Thanks

A:Upgrade memory dell Inspiron 1750

Unplug the system, remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.  Be sure both modules are firmly seated - try powering up with both of them.  If the system won't, but both modules work in one socket but not the other, the only thing you can do is replace the mainboard.  While it is technically possible to replace just the socket, the labor alone for that will exceed the cost of a replacement board.

Hello, I am working on a friend's Dell Inspiron 1750 with Vista Basic, I don't know any other specs right off. He brought it to me because it wouldn't boot and startup repair couldn't fix it. He said He just renewed his McAfee.

Normal, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Net, Safe Mode with Command, Last Known Good Configuration, and Disable Driver Signature Enforcement all fail with STOP 0x7B before rebooting (safe mode BSOD's right after CI.DLL, I tried replacing it with a copy from the repair disc, but it didn't help)

I ran Windows Defender Offline, it found some adware but thats it.
Startup Repair Fails with "BadDriver"
System Restore Failed with "Catastrophic Failure" for all 4 points I tried
sfc /scannow wont run something about a pending repair
sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows found corrupt files but couldn't fix them

I have tried changing between ATA and AHCI

All Dell Diagnostics Passed
I only have access to a repair disc and I don't know what his backup habits are so clean Install is a last resort

Any Idea What I Should try Next? Thanks

A:[SOLVED] Dell Inspiron 1750 Vista Won't Boot

Hello Shadow4.2,

Your error, INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, can be caused by many things.

I suggest running Memtest86+ for at least one pass, then run the HDD manufacturer's drive diagnostic software.

I suggest downloading the UBCD. If you do PC repair on a regular basis, it will come in handy as it contains most HDD diagnostics, Multiple memory diagnostics and other tools...

You can download the latest .iso from the link in my signature.

I wouldn't put too much stake in the Dell Diagnostics. It only runs a cursory memory test and a S.M.A.R.T. HDD self test... A full media scan is recommended at this point.

Hello all

A:Cannot connect bluetooth from samsung s2 to dell inspiron 1750

Hi, try to update the bluetooth drivers. That might help.

OR

1. Open Control Panel by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel search box, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.
3. In the Bluetooth Settings dialog box, click the Options tab and do the following:
To make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth enabled devices, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.
When a Bluetooth enabled computer is in discovery mode, it broadcasts a wireless signal that allows it to be detected by other computers or devices. This is sometimes called pairing mode. If you check this box, your computer will still be able to detect Bluetooth enabled devices that are in discovery mode, but they will not be able to detect your computer.
a) To allow you to add Bluetooth enabled devices to your computer, select the check box for “Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer”.
b) To be notified when a Bluetooth enabled device is trying to connect to your computer, select the check box for “Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect”.

Hi!

Well I had to send my motherboard into service so I borrowed mums laptop a dell inspiron 1750.
The laptop screen is not my favorite cup of tea so to speak. And today I bought an adapter to connect my regular monitor to the laptop. And the dell won't recognize it at all. Trying to send a simple inquire to dell support is impossible, would need to pay for their support. Thought it could have been driver issues or so but can't find anything about it. This laptop originally shipped with windows 7, but mum upgraded to windows 8 during the early campaign when it was like 20? now it's upgraded to win8.1.

Any ideas how I can get this horrible laptop to recognize my screen?

A:Dell Inspiron 1750 won't recognize external screen.

Most all Notebooks/Laptops have a VGA port or DVI port that allows connecting a projector or external monitor. It is controlled by a key combination of Fn + Fx which toggles the port On or Off. There's three settings, LCD Panel only, External port only, or both at the same time.

On my Dell Inspiron 15R it's the Fn + F1, others may be F5 or F8, usually marked by a symbol resembling a TV/Monitor. The proper F key usually is marked in the same color as the Fn key but have seen some Notebooks where that was reversed, just pressing F key worked. Have also seen one newer Notebook with only an HDMI video port.

Hello everyone, i'm getting BSOD: driver_power_state_failure (0x000009f). The error seems to occur only when on battery, 5-20 minutes into a video. But however, this morning it occured while browsing and downloading new updates. I have seen a lot of solutions but don't know where to start for this particular problem. The latest dump file was about 500MB, but I have used Advanced SystemCare to clean up the laptop so it's wiped. The attached SF diagnostics tool zip file probably does not contain any info about the BSOD. If you want I will make another one after the next crash.

Thanks for the attention.

A:BSOD mostly when watching youtube videos

Hi Danail Ivanov.

The zip you uploaded does not contain any crash dump.

Follow it: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Dont run any disc cleanup program before you upload another zip.

BTW, a stop 0x9F may not have anything to do with a youtube video. Disable Hardware Acceleration. Open a video in YouTube. When it is started, right click on the screen and choose "settings"

In the resulting window, uncheck the option for hardware acceleration, and then close the window.

Two days in a row I've had issues with video freezing up and then BSOD. This happened both times while watching videos on youtube. My browser both times was Google Chrome and both times I also had Adobe Photoshop CS5, Paint Tool Sai and AIM running in the background. Both videos were things I had watched in the past with no problems (on this machine and on a small laptop). Each time the video screen in youtube turned green, though the sound was still going, then shortly after the entire computer froze and I got BSOD.

I checked to see if the system is running hot by touching both the side and the back of the tower (by the fan) and it feels cool. I've also been dusting around the tower on a fairly regular basis so I don't think it's an overheating problem. The video card is the same one that came pre-installed when I purchased the computer (their basic package on Dell).

My system specs:
-Windows 7 Home Premium
-64bit
-The original OS on the system, pre-installed (I have never re-installed)
-This system is less than a month old, I purchased it online from Dell

I've included a screencap of the error box I got when my computer restarted, the BSOD Dump & System File (as a .zip) and the System Health report.

I had a problem similar to this with my last computer, though it was much older, and eventually that computer completely stopped working (the hard drive was fried). I've had this for only a few weeks and I'm really concerned about this issue. Any hel... Read more

Had some BSOD while watching YouTube. Sometimes I go to sleep while watching videos and by the morning I notice the PC had reset. Cannot say if BSOD or an unexpected update, but most likely BSOD.

Actually, my no-break's battery has run out of juice, so short power shortages may have been responsible for some resets.

Reinstalled Windows 10 (64bit) recently and the problem didn't happen before that. Have been playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided, which is very heavy for my machine, but the game never crashes although it get the fans roaring like a stress test tool. Maybe I fried some componentes?

And one more thing: the BSOD is either BAD_POOL_CALLER or DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.

I'm having major problems watching youtube videos. When I click on a link to one, it loads until I see a black box where the video would play, but stops loading. I made sure I have the latest version of flash by running the install file, and it said I already had the latest version of flash. I'm using Firefox 3.0.10, and I have McAfee SiteAdvisor running as an addon. I've also tried it using Google Chrome and the same exact thing happens. I am able to watch flash videos at web sites like GameTrailers.com.

Thanks for the help.

I had a motherboard die on me after one month of usage that coincided with a lightning strike that happened a few days earlier. I had gotten a new motherboard via rma and everything has been fine so far until now. Will this BSOD tell me if the computer was shutdown because of overvoltage from a faulty psu?

Its a quality 12 rail 650W from corsair so it is pretty unlikely that it is sending to much voltage but I still am worried.

One of the steps that I have neglected is reinstalling windows with the new motherboard. It was the same models and everything seemed to work fine. I know that people recommend reinstalling windows.

I am experiencing an issue whereby videos refuse to play smoothly in IE (or Chrome for that matter, just on a PC in general).

It's a Lenovo P50s
It has the latest GPU drivers from Nvidia

I cannot figure out why the videos refuse to play properly.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card on my Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop. The laptop has only a VGA output, and no HDMI output.

Also, I just bought a Sony 50W656A TV. The TV works just fine, and I'm able to play movies using an USB hard-drive, external subtitles and all.

My only problem is that I cannot play any games on the TV as it is, because the TV has no VGA input. I remember reading that with this graphics card I could output YPbPr through the VGA port, with the proper cable. However, I cannot find where (if I remember correctly) read that.

Has anyone tried this?

Thank you for your comments.

A:ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 on Dell Inspiron 1750 - VGA to YPbPr

There's nothing in the Dell manual about that. But, there are VGA to HDMI adapters however, that will probably only get you video and not audio, like is in the "standard" HDMI output on a PC.

Hi

I was wondering what programs or applications are essential to being able to view youtube videos, smootly. I installed directx 9, Quicktime 7, and Adobe shockwave Player 11, and Adobe Flash Payer 10 Active x. Since I installed Directx 9 I am able to view a few youtube videos but not very many. It was suggested by someone on this forum to uninstall my Flash player and reinstall it, does anyone else think that might do the trick. The reason Ididn't try that was that we pay for Gigabytes of downloading and I didn't want to uninstall and reinstall a program and get charged for it twice. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Hello guys,

This is my first post. I hope I do it right.

I have a PC running XP, all the updates are in.

When I am watching videos on Youtube, if I move a window cursor to read the comments (or any other text on that screen) while the video is playing, the sound stops for a second or two, and then restarts. If I move the cursor VERY SLOWLY, then the sound does not stop. But if I move it rapidly, the sound stops for a brief moment and starts again. It is very annoying and it does that every time. I remenber about 6 months ago, I didn't have this problem.

What happened ? Any suggestions ?

Thanks for your help.

This could be an IRQ conflict - if using a USB mouse switch it to another port.

Hi. I have a Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit laptop and would really appreciate any help you could offer. This is a quite a recent problem but while watching youtube videos after about 20 minutes my computer completely crashes. I can move the mouse around still but everything else freezes forcing me to turn off the computer using the off switch - this happens everyday! I have a feeling it is some kind of virus on my system. A few days ago desperate to find a solution I decided to run ComboFix - only to realize after that I'm not supposed to without having been asked to. However, luckily all went smoothly but unfortunately the problem still remains. Therefore I have attached the combofix log that was produced in the hope that you can identify the problem. I would really appreciate some advice!!Thanks

Having no other options I'm forced to power down the desktop and then restart (Hard Boot). The computer restarts, and just as soon as the desktop tries to appear, BSOD occurs saying BAD_POOL_HEADER

The issue happens solely off of watching videos on YouTube using my browser. If I download and watch same video using a different player I have no issues.

Well l originally thought l had resolved this issue by changing the hardware acceleration settings, but l guess l didnt.. not to mention the fact that this issue l thought only happened with Youtube videos, mainly because my system would BSOD if l watched one.. it happened twice.

however this is the third BSOD l have received in the past few weeks (the first since l changed the above mentioned settings to hardware acceleration). whats more it happened on a non-youtube related video (a facebook one l happened to be watching when it happened).

either way the main parallel l can draw between each BSOD is that every time its happened l have been streaming an online video at the time, given what lve seen in bluescreenview l can see what seems to be an ati related process as the main noted one however as is usually the case l generally find peeps here tend to tell me the issue is a bit more complex.

regardless, l have run the relevant tools in hopes someone can help me track down the issue, knowing my luck its just some simple issue and setting lve missed lol.
