Missing website

Q: Missing website

Anyone know why a website would come up on every browser on one machine, then on someone else's doesn't show up when typed in the address bar OR searched for on Google using Google Chrome (default browser) but does fine on their firefox browser? I'm at a bit of a loss....

Preferred Solution: Missing website

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Missing website

what's the website? Could be blocked on the particular pc.

The x200 Tablet iso bios update is not really findable on your website when searching for it with the search engine. I have spend over 1 hour searching for it. A:Website error: Missing Bios/support website for Thinkpad X200 Tablet (also named x200t)

Agreed, it would be useful if the Support search included a link to older model (EOL) support that it doesn't find directly.  I wouldn't call it an error, but it's not a very convenient or informative design
This isn't specific to the X200x models.  Legacy/older models are on the EOL site (if they aren't showing up in Support search):

I have recently had problems with my website www.bluebeachresort.net and received an email suggesting that someone had hacked it. After this people have contacted me saying they cannot access the site anymore. I sent out emails to about 20 friends asking them to check the site from where they were and out of the 20, 11 couldnt access it. There people were all in different countries aswell as Thailand (where I am located) and they were all using different browsers.

I have contacted the (Thai) guy who made the site and arranged hosting it but he seems to have difficulty understanding the problem as he says it loads up fine for him. He did change all the passwords for the site incase someone had hacked it.

As it is I have a site that is visible to some people and not to alot of others. This is obviously no good. Does anyone know what could be the problem

A:Website Address Line Missing

I will assume that you are using Internet Explorer.
Go to File -> Page Setup
There is a box for the header (the top of the page) and a box for the footer (bottom). To have the URL print, type &u in the appropiate box. The window title is &w. More commands are availible if you click on the ? in the upper right corner and then click in the Header/Footer area.

I and many others are having problems viewing a certain website correctly. I suppose it's ok to give you the name...alternet.org. When opening the website most of the time the page appears as if extra empty space has been added to the center or the page is stretched so the right side of the page is way over to the right and requires scrolling to get to it. Only once in a while will it open correctly and then after going to another page and returning to the home page, it again is shown incorrectly. In addition, after reading an article and going to the comment page, the format is wrong and some features do not work as intended. Several readers have sent complaints to the website itself and to the comment provider. If anyone can help I will pass it along to all the other readers of that website. I have four scrolling photos which show the correct and incorrect pages of both the website home page and the comment section but are too large to attach here so I have created links to them.

I cannot seem to figure out how to get the top section of http://www.alescoleads.com to display the top section. Everything under the date and tips in the blue bar shows up, everything above doesn't. I have already tried it in internet explorer(tried safe mode w/ no add ons), firefox, chrome with no luck. I uninstalled java, re-installed, I reset the internet back to factory setting, wiped out all the browsing history. Tried messing with the internet options in every combination I can. I don't know what else to try besides trying to factory reset this machine. Was curious if anyone else had any idea.

I have had this google/bing redirect problem for about a month. I downloaded Malwarebytes and use it everyday but it is not picking up the problem. Then I read about how it might be a host problem so I went in that folder and deleted another line that was not attached to my local host. The problem still occured. However, recently my desktop shortcuts have been disappearing, and my volume has been turning it self off. Sometimes when I log on my settings have changed to default and my background is gone. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

Hello all,
I am having a few issues with my computer lately. First off, I was getting a lot of redirections when i would click a link from any search engine. It would usually take me to the same 2 websites. I ran ad-aware a couple times along with spybot s&d 2 times along with MalwareBytes 2 times. I was finally able to get rid of the redirections, but now im getting a failed attempt to runDLL DirectxProfileManager.dll missing error when i boot. So I figured i would update IE to IE9 while i was doing all this. Before and after I have been noticing that FaceBook has been failing a lot more. I would go to my home page and click an app It would go to a page that said error http 400. Now when i go to facebook, the page just goes blank and i cant even get to my home page.

Also, just to let everyone know, there were problems found during all of my scans and I had the program remove them or fix them (whichever the program does when it finds a problem).
Im guess its only a matter of time before more things start failing, which brings me here. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you...

This message just started today "This program can't start because WLDCore.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem." Have checked the net for guidance and have uninstalled/reinstalled Windows Live Messenger. Also have copied/pasted wldcore.dll and wldlog.dll from Windows\Live\ Shared to Windows\Live\Messenger, Windows\Live\Contacts, and Windows\Live\Mail per recommended solution. All to no avail. As well, have run the Repair feature on Windows Live Essentials and have received the notification that the repair was successful. Didn't fix it. Otherwise, WLM is working OK, just can't e-mail weblinks from the File command. Should I consider migrating to Win 10 Mail or can this issue be easily resolved?

I'm a complete novice at technical stuff, so I need some hand-holding and patience. A reader of my website has recently informed me that my "website contains an "HTTP Malicious Javascript Encoder" from brasilianstoree.info. It was blocked by our systems, but it is very nasty and could harm others."

I also discovered today that when my website loaded, it was redirected to AskLots.com, and I think this may be part of the problem. I also think my ftp server was compromised due to an error with WordPress. I was getting a WordPress admin error that my wp-content/backup-db file might be visible to the public, and so it took me a while, but I found the solution to fix that. Having said all this, I'm still getting the site re-direction to AskLots.com. I've run AVG full scan, SpyBot, MalwareBytes, etc., etc., etc., but nothing is found. I've even searched my ftp files for "aff.php" after reading another forum's discussion about the same thing, but it found nothing. I just now downloaded and run Hijack This, and here is my log:

To whom it may concern:My comp has been acting strange for several weeks now. Windows date and time are messed up and refuse to stay corrected when i do fix them. The time and date are always correct but the year constantly reverts back to 2005 after i continuously change it to 2008. Because of this many different websites are not compatible with my IE because they have date sensitive certificates and my IE doesn't like them. I get asked about 5 times per site if it is okay to proceed and it is very annoying. Also I cannot do any online banking because the transactions are date sensitive. Is this a virus/trojan/bug/etc? or is this a hardware issue. My problem sounds very much like a post by Pinky Smalls at this link. I followed his/her protocol and still have had no luck clearing the issue. I tried synchronizing with internet time, but it keeps giving me and error that it is unable to connect. I have already tried replacing my motherboard battery with no help. Perhaps its time for a new mobo? or do you think it is a virus? I'd rather not end up like this guy once i put a new mobo in and infect that one too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. -dodsong

Hi folks,
I started having this problem sometime in the latter part of 2014. While reading my medical journals and moving on to the next article, the fbi website pops up and supplants my medical journal website. I have to close and log in to my medical website all over again. Sometimes, even that does not work and I cannot get back to my original website anymore on that day. It happens to my PC laptop, my wife's Macbook and even a brand new Macbook Air that I tried out. For some strange reason, it only happens at home on all 3 computers. I don't get this problem reading my Journals in the Hospital where I work. Interestingly, when I go to the park away from my house and activate the mobile hotspot on my handphone and do my journal reading there, it does not happen.( not yet anyway).
I would like to attach a picture of the fbi website for you but I don't see any paperclip icon on the toolbar.
I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide on this matter.
Thank you

I have the Windows 8 Consumer build 8250 installed on my Toshiba NETBOOK. Everything is all dandy except certain features on certin websites.
I am unable to actually upload pictures to flickr. Like when I click the "Choose files to upload" nothing happens, no box allowing me to choose the files in explorer appears and nothing happens. I have tired with adblock on and adblock off and it makes no difference. Also when trying to play games within facebook. The games do not load or nothing appears.
Its like as if the adblock is on but there is no adblock on. When right clicking it shows that the flash plugin/extension is running but not the product. This only started when i installed windows 8 consumer. The developer build did not have the issue. I also have tried Chrome, Firefox, and Internet explorer and all errors/issues are reproduced.
Anyone have any ideas?

Here is the MSDN Social issue i posted in they're forums.

I'm having trouble setting up my internet on a computer. I tried all the usual things and have narrowed the problem down to something between the computer and the router. I opened up the router (Linksys Wireless-G) page (with all the router settings, I know its got a name...) on the computer and have checked all the settings against another computer on the same router that works fine. I then went into the diagnostics page of the router settings and began trying to ping various websites. It successfully pinged www.google.com, but when I tried to open the same site in Firefox it would not load. I pasted the IP address for Google,, into Firefox and it loaded the page. When I try a search, or try to navigate away from the page I'm told that "the page cannot be displayed" just like before. I don't understand the problem, I can send and receive data but I can't open any webpages. I'm assuming there's a setting somewhere that I've overlooked, could someone please point me in the right direction?

I am not sure if this is correct forum to post my issue....but here it is:

Currently my company website (fwww.akeweb.com) is registered with company called abc.com. Within abc.com i access the account info and I see that there a setting for fakeweb.com under Web Services that point fakeweb.com to an ip address (assigned to one of statis dsl lines) the ip forwarding is setup with option as "Use Simple DNS" entry.

My company has the main website as www.fakewebinc.com hosted with a different company. The hosting account contains a setting that will redirect from fakeweb.com to fakewebinc.com.

My issue is that when I am at work logged to company domain, I type www.fakeweb.com and I get error message about web site not found. When I go home using my home pc I type www.fakeweb.com and I get redirected to www.fakewebinc.com.

Is this problem related to network issue such as access blocking, ip address issue, or something else?

A:Company Network, Website, and Website Redirection

I have a differnt problem, I click fakewebinc.com and I cannot get there, but I go to fakeweb.com and it works.. hmm..
A few things:
- Make sure you have a dedicated IP
-Once you have found that you do, and what is is, go to domain management and edit the A record to that IP, and you should be good.
I think that is your problem. I am not 100% sure, I could be wrong. Wait for someone else to reply.

Hi there

For a couple of weeks I have not been able to access our business website or the hosting company website from our main office. I can access all other websites.

I can ping the website with no loss through a command prompt. Other people can access the website no problem and I can access it fine from my pc at home.

I have checked the hosts file and the address is not blocked.

I have contacted the ISP and the hosting company and they can find nothing wrong, so I am assuming the problem lies with me.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening?

Many thanks in advance

I'm a computer rookie. Original problem was typing in a website would send me to the wrong website. Found this happens with clicking on links too. Always the same wrong website. Followed the prep guide to follow prior to posting HJT log. The steps didn't solve the prob but found (unable to fix) clogger.c, downloader.small.BAR and banker.VB.AG. was able to fix DNSchanger.hg. In looking at those problems they date back to June 2006. The prob with the wrong website has only been around the last month. Hope you can help. This is what happens when I tried to download ANYTHING from Microsoft (most of them are free applications):

I've tried to uninstalled silverlight and re-installed it. I've also tried with updating graphic driver, ran in IE with no adds-on, but they didn't help. Has anyone seen this problem before? It's annoying me so bad.

Thanks for reading this.

Hello all!
My girlfriend decided to try and download something and apparently it wasn't from quite the right place I've run Malwarebytes and ADWCleaner, but I'm still getting a Malicious Website Blocked warning from Malwarebytes for an Outbound threat called choiceforme.website. I've run a number of full scans, but nothing seems to be able to clean it. It's coming from a chrome.exe deep in the users/.../appdata directories.
Thanks for all your help.

And the user uses IE11 and all internet websites are OK for opening. Also I found resetting IE can't work for change IE home page even I set related home page for the IE.Let user reboot his PC then check it
but it still can't work.
It seems his IE was kidnappd by some software.
Does anyone knows which tool is good for fix IE such as IE 9 and IE 11?

Hi all, this may sound like a stupid question... but if one wants to save photos from a website all they do is right-click the photo and click save, right? In most cases, unless the photo is copyrighted or protected by it's owner. I'm viewing my own website on Netscape 7.1, I want to save all my own photo's from my site. After a system crash a few months back... I lost all the existing photo's that were on the drive (yes stupid of me not to back-up). Now I'm scrared that in case something was to happen to the website, all photo's would be lost forever. If you wanna check-out my website: (Halloween Based), see if you can save photo's or not? Does anyone know why I cannot save my own sties photo's? To me it sounds odd, I can right-click on them and it says "Save Image As", I supposedly put them into a folder that I put all my photo's.... when I go back there through "Windows Explorer", the folder is there, but none of the photos I just saved...?

Hey guys,

I've been racking my brain on this for a while now, and I can't seem to put my finger on what's gone wrong. Maybe i've been working on it too much now.

trying to access fldoea-public.sharepoint.com from the company website and the page cannot be displayed on any browser on any of our domain machines.

Accessing that same page from outside our network works fine.

The website resolves correctly in the DNS when i try NSLOOKUP -->

Tried TRACERT and can only get to the Firewall and not beyond.

I can view any other website perfectly except this one.

Checked with my ISP and they said we don't seem to have anything blocking our outbound connections.

We have a Sophos UTM9 Firewall setup... and none of the web filtering options are enabled.
Any ideas on what I might be missing ?
Thanks for any help you guys can provide !!

A:Website Access problem with only 1 website

Solved my own problem after all !!

Just FYI in case anyone experiences the same frustrations with this...

ICMP was disabled on the Firewall and a Country Code block was in effect that I had not initially noticed.
