Edge + Flash enabled = This page is having a problem loading

Q: Edge + Flash enabled = This page is having a problem loading

Hello everybody,

I am experiencing a weird issue in Edge with Flash enabled. If I try to load any page that has Flash content, Edge tries to reload the page twice and afterwards it gives me the following error message:

This page is having a problem loading

We tried to load this page for you a few times, but there is still a problem with this site. We know you have better things to do than to watch this page reload over and over again so try coming back to this page later.

For example this page would trigger this behavior: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

If I look in the Event Viewer I see the following Error level logs in the [Windows Logs] -> [Application] section:

Faulting application name: microsoftedgecp.exe, version: 11.0.10586.20, time stamp: 0x56540c35Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.10586.20, time stamp: 0x56540c3b

Faulting package full name: Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_25.10586.0.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe
Faulting package-relative application ID: MicrosoftEdge

There are 2 similar entries [I guess one for each refresh attempt] every time I try to access a Flash page.

Versions:
Microsoft Edge 25.10586.0.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML 13.10586
Windows 10 x64 Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.29)

I have cleared everything related to the browser data but this persists.
If I turn off Flash, the pages load properly.

Did anyone experience a similar issue?

Thank you in advance!

PS: IE11 works without a problem

Preferred Solution: Edge + Flash enabled = This page is having a problem loading

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Edge + Flash enabled = This page is having a problem loading

I take it you have the following settings in Advanced Settings for Edge:

I am able to open the page you linked to without any problems using these settings and see the bouncing cube.

With your Flash setting OFF do you see the bouncing flash cube? If I turn my flash setting OFF it stops this working for me which is as it should do.

I am having difficulties trying to load/open a pdf/flash page.
The website is at: http://www.capitolwholesale.com/catalogs.asp
The page will load fine for me, and the little catalog in the center of the screen will show up for me, but when I click on it, instead of showing the entire catalog, it does nothing. My desktop will show the whole catalog when I click on the small catalog on the screen, but my laptop does nothing when I click on it. I can save it as a pdf on my desktop after it loads, but I would rather be able to have it open in the same way on my laptop. I am using XP on both machines and mozilla firefox as well.
Thanks!

A:Adobe Acrobat/Flash Problem loading page

On the laptop, disable any popup blockers that you may have. Also, in Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Content and make sure that the Enable Javascript box is checked.

Then restart Firefox and try to click on it again.

If it still doesn't work make sure you have the latest version of Flash.

If all else fails you can always visit the page that pops up directly:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

Feel free to let us know whether it works or not.

I apologize if this isn't the right forum, but I did not see one that is specifically for Microsoft Edge.

We have an internal Flash application at work that utilizes a self-signed certificate for HTTPS. When attempting to load the page hosting the application, only the background will load. Other than the initial warning regarding the self-signed certificate,
there are no errors logged in the browser or the application's backend. The page would load successfully prior to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

One workaround to get the application to load is to install the self-signed certificate in Internet Explorer. After that, it works fine. My question is: does the version of Microsoft Edge that comes with the Anniversary Update have a new security
feature that prevents it from loading Flash content when a self-signed certificate is involved? If not, does anyone have any ideas as to why the content will not load unless the certificate is installed?

I have a weird issue with a laptop I am working on. The problem is:Going to the Windows Update website to get updates, it is just blank and it says done in the bottom left.(see picture)Facebook only loads the top header when signed in. (see picture)I go to adobe.com, click on Adobe Flash to download it and I get the page, I click download now and it just reloads the website. I used a different browser and I saved it on the desktop. When I ran it, it disappeared?I scanned with MalwareBytes already, first time it was about 160 objects infected. Second time was in safe mode and found 4 more, all adware stuff.Any ideas? I disabled all add-ons in IE, reset to default, it still does it in safe mode. I disabled a bunch of stuff from startup via msconfig.I don't know what else it could be, suggestions?

Hi all,

yesterday I updated to Windows 10 1609, the first thing I did was to test the new extensions page on Edge but when I open the menu a black screen appear and disappear, when I click on an extensions (for example: AdBlock) it's like if I never opened the extension menu so I click on things like Open a new window .

I will try to post a video to be more clear.

Someone can help?

A:Edge's extensions page bug, do you have the same problem?

Umm.. just a thought.. extensions need to be downloaded from the Store from what I've read.
Language restriction? Just wondering which languages are supported.

This gives info on how to 'sideload' extensions- i.e. not just from the Store:

These are what's available:

Hi,
1. I cannot find a solution for a problem accessing Microsoft forums websites from Windows 10 - IE11 and Edge browsers:
in EDGE - Hmm, we can't reach this page.   IE11 this page can't be displayed.
For about a year it worked at least from Edge. Now both cannot access Microsoft forums. All the other sites are accessible.
I am using a corporate proxy. The same sites are accessible from Windows 7 with IE11.
First I blamed our IE GPO with multiple settings. So for a test I placed my machine in Blocked OU (no IE GPO, proxy is set from different GPO).
Everything what I tried didn't help. The question: why just Microsoft forums (no other sites) are not accessible.
Did couple of tests from Windows 7 IE11 machines. The same Microsoft forums are perfectly accessible (all GPOs are applied).
Suddenly, found that one corporate Web App does the same : "This  page can't be displayed". On other Windows 7 it does work.
I am out of ideas now... cannot blame anymore our GPO or proxy...
Any advice?
Thanks

Not sure if this is a Windows 7 issue but when I load Download music, movies, games, software! The Pirate Bay - The world's most resilient BitTorrent site
in ie8, Firefox or Chrome, it takes an unusual amount of time and the gif images do not show up. The page does not diplay averything properly. The links are there but they are re-sized and out of alignment.

I turned my antivirus and spyware off and also turned windows defender off.
In ie8, under:Tools/Internet Options/advanced/Multimedia/"show pictures" is checked. (all items under Multimedia are checked).

Nothing gives.
The reason I'm confused is that my laptop also running windows 7 does not have this problem.

Basically I've been running into some occasional problems connecting to websites; my browser tells me "problem loading page" - usually a few refreshes and I'm okay, but now I'm getting the search result redirects too. Same problems on the other computer sharing the network, right down to getting redirects from the exact same websites. boopme thinks it has to do with the wireless router that the computers use, and since we didn't get anywhere in the above thread, he sent me here.

I tried running GMER several times, but it froze on startup each time so I couldn't get it to work.

The problem is intermittent; however it exists more often then not.

I run Windows XP Professional and IE 8. I have a Verizon Mobil broadband modem plugged into a Cradlepoint router that distributes connectivity to my wife and kidís machines. They are also Window XP Professional machines with IE 8. My wifeís machine also has Firefox and if you use it the same issues occur.

All three machines have Norton 360 Ver. 4 on them. I uninstalled Norton from my machine and I still had the problem. I reinstalled Norton 360 Ver. 5 and I still had the same problem. I uninstalled Ver. 5 and I still have the problem. Iíve set my internet Security and Privacy options to the lowest possible settings.

Iím at a loss, not only as to what is wrong but no one seems to have a clue. Iíve talked to Verizon Support and they claim that there is no way possible that it is with my Internet connection. Norton says that it isnít possible that Norton is causing the issue.

Iíve downloaded Malwarebytes and did a complete system scan and it came up clean. Thank you for any help, Joe.

I do not use my computer for anything but e-mail, browsing, and occasional games, but this is very frustrating as I cannot even receive e-mail from accounts due to the problem.

Hello All.
Wonder if anyone can help me. My son is having problems loading web pages.Every time he gets a message "Web site found awaiting reply." Sometimes a message comes up "Detecting proxy settings" Hope someone may be able to help.
Cheers Norman.

A:Loading Web Page Problem

What type of internet connection are you using. Goto Tool>Internet Options> click on the connections tab > then lan setting > and make sure there is not a proxy on your machine (unless you need one than make sure it is correct).

Recently, for some rason, web pages do not load properly. For instance, if I try to login to something, such as myspace, I'll click login, the bar at the bottom will finish, but it won't load the next page. If I click it a second time, it works fine. Then for some things, it will start to load, but only load part of the page. Usually after a second attempt it works fine, but then other times it still has problems, especially when there are lots of pictures on the page. Its anything like ram or cpu. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, but it didn't help. BTW I'm not sure why but my connection says Local Area Connection 3, although I'm pretty sure those two things aren't related.

Hi, I picked up some malware, which my antivirus (Avast) said it caught but lately I've been getting lots of "Problem loading page" messages whenever I try to connect to certain sites on the Internet. Usually if I just click the "Try Again" button several times, I can get through but this behavior still worries me. Any advice?

A:Having A Problem With Loading Web Page

Hello ruthieross,

What is your operating system: Windows XP, Vista, etc.?

What web-browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser to see if the same thing happens with it?

In what way does it not load? What happens when it doesn't load? Do you get any error messages?

Have you checked to see if the same problem occurs on a different computer? It might be that the website is down.

Hello everyone! I have been trying to use AIM Mail with Mozilla Firefox but it appears as though the screen looks really strange and doesn't load properly. I think it's because it said the connection I was using was untrusted and asked me to add it into an exception thing that had to do with certificates. I didn't read it thoroughly, but apparently it seems that images on the log-in page don't load properly. The entirety of the page seems really white, although I can't give a good explanation of what the screen looks like. I don't know if this is linked with a second problem, but for some reason it doesn't let me log in either. How do you fix this problem?

I guess these instances have occurred when I was entered to crack founder website. I have avg antivirus, for Searching and killing unable process I used "HijackThis" software. Unfortunately I found more unable process. After fixing these problems and restarting my system, I seen it once again! Is there any software for fixing and repairing registry key and value automatically? Or other decides.

Hey, I've been having something strange happen lately.

When I try to visit a site, it will sometimes say
"Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at xxx
..."

It will successfully load the page after I hit refresh or "try again". This only happens in Firefox, not IE, and it seems to be completely random.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, I'm using Windows XP with SP2, I have Firefox upgraded to the latest release, my addons are Adblock Plus, Background image saver, IE View Lite, Image Zoom, Quick Restart, smart middle click, and URL fixer. With all those add-ons I would suspect they were conflicting... Somehow... But they've worked fine in the past.

A:Problem loading page in Firefox

Try running Firefox in safe mode.
Start> Mozilla Firefox> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).
This disables all themes and runs default theme.
If it works, disable all your extensions (Tools> Add-ons) and re-enable them one at a time until you find the problem one.

Hi, welcome to TSF

Have you tried a few different websites from your Bookmarks list and by typing their addresses in the URL bar, or is it just your homepage that won't load when you first load Firefox?

If you can access the internet with Internet Explorer, and Firefox is not being blocked by your firewall, open Firefox and click File in the top left. Is there a tick next to 'Work Offline'?

I was wondering if Java would have anything to do with this problem?

A:Internet page loading problem

Welcome to TSG!
I do not think Java has anything to do with your problem but it could be an errant BHO (Browser Helper Object) running under a third party extension.
If you look your error states iexplore.exe.mdmp and normally is iexplore.exe
Without digging to find out what third party extension mdmp is lets just shut them off for the moment and see if that corrects your problem.

Open IE and then then click tools\Internet options\advanced then scroll through the browsing section to Enable third-party browser extensions remove the check from this item, click apply then ok. Shut any open windows down and restart system.

See if problem is gone. If so then we can move on to explore what specific program\third party extension may be causing this.

Here is a MSKB articly concerning this matter.

Ok, the solution to this will fix a recurring problem that crops up
after a couple of days of perfect performance browsing the Internet
so, any help greatly appreciated.

I DO NOT have any Spyware, Malware, Trojans, Viruses according to
frequent and recent Spybot, Ad-Aware, HJT, MS Anti-Spyware, Spyware
Guard/Blaster scans, NortonAV, including a recent Trend Micro HouseCall
Beta scan.

Problem:
(After lots of surfing as usual today, including visits to TSG.)
NOTE: using Firefox

Everything was fine, until.....

>I opened a TSG Forum page and it looked like...this
(note that the page does not display certain features that a "normal" page
would: ads, Avatars, Smilies, etc.
(it's only partially loaded and not resolved by "refreshing" the page).

>Then, I click on a link to open a Website and the Tab appears but does not load (blank page).

>At the same time, my Mail Notifier (Pop Peeper) shows errors that it cannot
connect to the Server to download mail.

The (temporary) Fix:
A Reboot returns everything back to normal
and pages and links will load normally.

Any hint here as to what may be causing this malady?

Thanks for any help,

Telstar

So my question is A - what is this? And B - how do I clean my computer of this ?

I have run all of my usual spam blockers, adware blockers, cleaners etc... My Hi-Jack this log showed nothing and I deleted anything and everything ad-aware found. As well as my c-cleaner,super anti-spyware,spybot.

A:Loading Home Page Problem...HELP!

Have you installed anything from Yahoo, indeed anything at all lately? Yahoo downloads always tend to give you more than you really want (unless you do a custom download and select what you want), usually the Yahoo toolbar and I've noticed a lot of other downloads do it too.

Open your Crap Cleaner and use tools, select Yahoo and click uninstall and it will show you all the Yahoo stuff you have installed, if there's anything there that shouldn't be, get rid.

Try changing your homepage too. It might be an embedded message in that MSN page.

Man this is getting frustrating. At one particular website, fantasygames.sandboxplus.com/..., Firefox won't load the pages. Almost every time, I get the screen in my attached picture. But then I usually hit try again or reload and it usually loads right the second time. Every once in a while it takes a 2nd or 3rd try to load. Since I have dial-up, this is really frustrating because I hate waiting on it. Many times, the page is already like 95% loaded and then the Problem Loading Page screen shows up, like out of no where. And it's not like this site's pages take a long time to load either, they take about the same time to load as most other sites. Is there any way to fix this?

First off Happy New Year to everyone. Now for this annoying problem. I'm not sure if this is an add-on problem or what but I have been receiving this error message on quite a few web pages. See following

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.ad.yieldmanger.com
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

A:[SOLVED] FireFox problem loading page
