I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

Hello everyone, today there was an update for Lenovo Solution Center V.3.3.002 and I performed the update and when it was done I got an error message that reads ''LSC is unable to run because a required file is missing. Your installation may have been corrupted. Please reinstall the application and try again'' I uninstalled it and downloaded the update again and it still showed the same error. I ran maintenece and cleared cookies and cleared registries as I always do when performing maintenence on my pc. Whenever I start Lenovo Solution Center, it prompts me to update to 3.4.002. When I've tried to do it, it downloads to like 70%, and then gives an error window that says "Hash Verification Failed." I've tried restarting the computer, and it still doesn't work. What's going on?Read other answers
I have a Lenovo Y50 and i have the Lenovo Solution center installed on it version. 3.3.004 . But evertime i open it it say it has an uppdate and when i download it and its about to install it it says somthing about harsh verifiation. Anyhow seems like i cant uppdate it. Hi, receiving an invite to update, I did and this is my first approach.Having the time to test the program in detail, these are the results on my PC (Z50-70 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U Processor @ 2.00GHz 8GB diskdrive 1000GB)..- A "quick test" (which quick is not) goes on about 11 hours!- The longer time is for the testing of video card Intel (R) HD Graphics Family (1/2 hour for the memory test and at least 10 hours for the mathematics operations and pipeline texture), while the rest of tests takes only 10 minutes about. Conclusions:in my opinion a quick test should be reasonably "rapid" anyway, whereas the PC is not usable for all the duration of the test! I have a relatively new (3 months) ThinkPad P50. There have been several problems and support's solution is always "we'll send you a box". I now have 2 boxes and another on the way. The problems have all been the kinds of things that should be solved via phone, with or without an on-line support connection, but they want me to send the computer in. The problem is relatively minor. The Solution Center appears to be a poorly engineered piece of software, but I can see that it would be useful -- if it would run. It does not. I purchased a CG20 as a closeout. It looks as if the box was an open box, but it wasn't ever registered and things looked normal when I turned it on. Registration and everything went fine except for one small detail. I have noticed that in the Lenovo Solution Center my product is listed as INV201 and serial number as INVALID. Should I be worried that I have a product that is not eligible for any warranty service? When I look at the support site it says there is a warranty available on it. I have Thinkpad T430 running Windows 7. Just upgraded to Lenovo Solution Center 3.3.002. When running a hardware scan it held up on the IRQ Test (43% total completion). Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Thanks.
The Lenovo Solution Center diagnostic software is reporting PCI Express hardware error WPE001001-WL7X2I. The Thinkpad X1 yoga seems to be working otherwise. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does it require repair or replacement? Thanks for any advice.

If the error comes up when doing hardware test then you should not worry it happens for me to on a x1 Carbon 3rd gen idk why but for odd reason it just gives Failed on PCI-e part what so ever if you run the test 2nd time or 3rd it should give a green pass icon.Read other 5 answers

To decode for Result code WMB01R010-RL7YJE , since this is an internal code best that you call in lenovo tech support for the recommendation and interpretation.
Would you experience any problems like freeze up or BSOD?
Are you using virtualization?
Can you try to check if virtualization is enable in the BIOS ,
To access the BIOS , turn off and use the One key botton or Novo key (item2 page 82) to power on .
Novo menu would offer BIOS set up , check on the Configuration/ Advance tab to disable.
Similar discussion here .
Re run individual diagnostics online and if needed , to update LSC .
Running alternate diagnostics like belarc and speccy can also help if there is a synonymous error then have it reported immediately for recommended fix.

LSC version 2.8.007 will update to 3.3.002.LSC version 3.2.004 will update to 3.3.002. 3.3.002 is Hardware scan only and shows warranty info and other items.This version will not launch under companion at this time.Lenovo is upgrading all users of both versions to the 3.3.002 version. Previously the 3.xx.xx version was win10 only.==If you had 2.8.007 installed, LSC did not do updates!. It launched System Update. Go to your support page and download System Update, if it is not installed. System Update is probably installed on your system, but you have no entry on the start menu. After running the Wireless LAN hardware scan test, some warnings may appear in the results for the ?local connection test? and the ?internet connection test? in Lenovo Solution Center (LSC).
These warnings appear due to the state of the network your PC is connected to and not the state of the wireless LAN hardware in the PC. For example, the user may not be connected to a wireless LAN network or the wireless LAN network may not have access to the internet.
These warning messages do not indicate a hardware issue. No hardware should be replaced as a result of these warnings.

The lenovo solutions center either does not start or starts, but displays in multiple, overlapping images. It worked fine under the 32 bit version of Windows 7 I was using. The "PCI/PCI-e Test" part of the scheduled automated test reports an error every time Lenovo Solution Center runs, since I purched the machine six months ago. Otherwise, I see no specific error information through this tool. How do I investigate this problem? Unsure if this is related but the video driver seems to crash from time to time. The machine is otherwise reliable.

Basically the error you have received is a false positive test result that was produced by the Lenovo Solution Center. You can reduce the chances of this error occurring by using the latest version of the Lenovo Solution Center as well as the latest graphics driver that is available.
I suspect my W540 hard disk is slowly failing, and I ran the Lenovo Solution Center disk diagnostics to see what they say. The two SMART tests report a completion status of "Warning", indicating that they found some kind of problem - but I can't figure out how to see what problem they found. I ran into a few threads about the 4K display quality, which got me interested in knowing more about my P50's panel. However, when I run the "Lenovo Solution Center" I noticed that the "Display" and many other tabs of the "Snapshot" does not load, even after 13+ minutes of "Loading". Today, out of the blue, Lenovo Solution Center popped up and says [Loading] fot the last 45+ minutes! As usual, I have no idea how this POS application got into my system. I did do a video update yesterday, so maybe this software piggy backed onto my system. As usual there is no [abort] or quit dialog... just a spinning dial. I had to go to the task manager to kill the process.... then the system locked up. Nice black box. The I never know if there is 'activity' while the screen says [Loading], as the W540 has no activity light. Once again, as usual, I will need to restore the computer to an earlier time date, do a check disk and other maintenance, rather than doing productive work. The [Program and feartures] dialog show the "Solution Center" was installed TODAY. I want to make it CLEAR! that "I DID NOT INSTALL THIS PROGRAM TODAY".... It self installed. Who knows what else is being installed or TAKEN FROM MY HD! ? 7/18/2016 is TODAY for me. The computer was connected to the Internet, but I DID NOT INSTALL THIS PROGRAM!!! Question: Has any one else received this unwanted software "Lenovo Solution Center" (which is NO solution).

Hi Friends, I am working on setting up the T410s I got recently. When I start the Test, then it skippes, or shows a scratched symbol for the NVS 3100M GPU RAM Test, saying it's not needed. When I open the Protocol, it says following on Position: PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0 Does this mean, the card is actually not running? Also, I got some Keyboard buttons that wont work: (^,q,a,y) I might need to check the Bios, to see if the card is active. It does show the card in the device manager though. My Lenovo Solution Center ran a scan on my Yoga 2 Pro and said the Physical Memory failed the test. I mainly use the computer to play an online RPG and have not had any problems with the computer whatsoever, so I can't say what the symptoms of the problem are because, as near as I can tell, here aren't any. The test is just one of the automatic scans that the Lenovo Solition Center runs. After seeing that the quick scan was saying the Physical Memory had failed the Quick Random Pattern Test, I opted to run a comprehensive test to see if that would tell me anything It came up with the following result: Quick random pattern test - FailedAdvanced integrity test - FailedAddress Test - PassedBit low test - PassedBit high test - PassedWalking ones left test - FailedWalking ones right test - FailedModulo 20 test - PassedMoving inversions 8 bit test - FailedMoving inversions 32 bit test - FailedRandom pattern test - FailedRandom number sequence test - FailedBlock move test - Failed after running the comprehensive test, it gave me a result code of W1D7GR5ZM-EUMBP7 but I have no idea what that means or what I need to do about it, and searching the Lenovo support site for that code didn't turn up anything. I also could not find a way to email or call Lenovo to ask what it meant, so if anyone can tell me either what that means OR how I can find out what it means and what needs to be done, I'd greatly appreiciate it!Read other answers
After starting the Lenovo Solution center V3.3.003 it doen't show the serial numbers etc. of the machine. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.Is there another way to find out these numbers, except form crawling on the ground in a dark area with a lamp and a magnifier to determine the small print on the labels attached to the machine?

Right. So, hello and thanks in advance. I have a ThinkPad Yoga 14, updated and running the latest version of Windows 10 Home 64-bit. First of all, I have to point out that this issue could not be an issue with app incompatibility because all Lenovo apps and programs are working, however LSC seems to be throwing up a strange error message. It has been displaying the same errror message since moment one of upgrading to W10, this issue wasn't present in W8.
Under system, I get a Software Update critical warning and it says:
You never updated Windows
Status: out of date
Last update: not available
To update your operating system, you must run Windows Update.
Strangely enough, no amount of clicking on the launch button will actually start wUpdate. And that's it. I've already recieved, downloaded and installed a dozen updates and the message is still there. On another post here in the forum I read that if updates weren't set to download and install automatically I would get that error, but I haven't changed any update settings. Everything is automatic. Instaling, downloading, everything. Any ideas?

Hi folks, I have 6 Lenovo systems consisting of T410 and T420 series. I just freshly reimaged these systems with Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit; Ran windows update overnight; then installed Lenovo Solution Center (LSC). Upon running LSC with Hardware Scan or Snapshot of the system, it gets into "Loading" state forever (I've been leaving it for over 12 hours). There are no USB/disc inserted into any of these machines. Anyone got any insight as to how I can get LSC scans these hardware? CheersRead other answers

To summarized the test result :
SMART Status Test Passed ,Targeted Read Test Failed ,SMART Drive Self Test Passed for the harddrive and WVC007000-HL0B0M for the Video test.
SMART test are integrity check intented for users to be alerted before harddrive crash so there would be time to perform back up and create recovery image (immediate thing I suggest you do).
Update your video card driver from the support site or directly from manufacturer (intel) similar to this article for the Video card error. Review this article if you have similar symptoms and apply if needed .
Run individual storage , PCIE , video and systemboard test from the support site to verify findings. Use other diagnostic tools for comparative test similar to this and this.
You may also review this article for possible repairs options if needed and if within warranty to call in technical support for recommendation or decode of the error message.
Update us how it goes .
Hi all, user of a Lenovo Thinkpad E540 here. So, I've got a small question regarding error codes in the Lenovo Solution center. I've experienced probably 3 "Blue screens of death" during the last two weeks, and I therefore looked more into it and checked the hardware. And voila, there were some errors in the system: He's giving me the error code WMB008000-UL7XJE when he's done with the PCI/PCI-e test, the USB test and Chipset test. He's also saying that both the PCI/PCI-e test and the Chipset test failed, though the overall testing seems to have been successful... so now my question is: What does that mean for me, and should/can I do something specific to fix this? The HP Solution Center was working correctly until several weeks ago when I was suddenly unable to send print jobs to my printer (HP Officejet 5610). I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver several times and then resend the print job. Although the device and printers page shows an installed (and supposedly detected) copy of the printer, now Copy 3, I still cannot print. I subsequently needed to scan a document using the HP Solution Center, but received this error message, which has persisted no matter what I do with the printer: "HP Solution Center cannot run because your device installation is not complete. "Please plug in the USB cable or re-run the setup program from the installation CD for a network installation. "If this does not complete the installation, or you do not have the CD, access the HP help files by clicking the Start menu." I do not have the installation CD with which to run the setup program, and it seems that the printer installation may not be completing correctly. I attempted to find the "help files," but that led to nothing. Is there a procedure for getting back to a "clean slate" (without completely reimaging the computer) and obtain the installation media so that I could regain copy and scan capabilities?Read other answers
