I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi all, I've had a look around and can't see the answer to this and want to see if anyone can help me, I've just purchased a V330-14ARR and want to know what Hard drive/ssd spaces it has, I know the one that I have purchased comes with a 256GB SSD but want to know if there is a space for a second drive and if so is it a NVME/M.2 slot or a standard 2.5" Slot. thanks in advance James

If this is the same MTM 81B1001EUK, current m.2 for storage occupied by your PN 01FR515 (SSD SC313 256G Hynix). The other storage slot would be for a SATA 2.5mm you can fill in with HDD or SSD of the same size as shown in page 43 of the HMM.

Good day, There is an issue with the V330-14ARR. The laptop comes installed with Windows 10 Home 64-bit V1803 by default with an invalid touchpad driver, for which there seems to be no option to download a previous version or to rollback to an earlier driver. As a result, all the touchpad driver options (pinch zoom, click tapping etc.) are unavailable. The touchpad driver incorrectly just shows as ELAN pointing device. The driver version is 22.4.9.2 dated 14/08/2018. This is the version that is installed from the Lenovo support page for the V330-14ARR. Just to clarify, the issue is that the required touchpad options are missing. These are necessary options for the touchpad. Please urgently advise a manual workaround, provide an updated newer driver or provide a previous driver to rollback to. Please be advised that I cannot access the touchpad options at all. They do not exist in the mouse or touchpad options. The ELAN / Synaptics icon is not available and no monitoring program has been installed. Kind regards

I ordered a new wireless card listed for my serial number from Lenovo encompass and I finally got to install it. I put it in, turned on my machine and I get the screen that says "Unauthorized wireless card. Turn off and remove it." (or whatever it actually says). How can I make this work? I used Lenovo's part that it said would work and now it's not working and I can't boot. I had heard somewhere that setting the BIOS to default might help so I did that and it did nothing for me. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Hi, The touchpad on my V330-14ARR became stuck on Clicklock. In the process of trying to fix it, the touchpad has stopped working altogether.  Previously there were two HID-compliant mice listed in device manager. Now only one is showing, which states it is located on: "I2C HID Device".  How do I reinstate my touchpad to its original function without completely resetting my pc to factory settings? I've only had it a few weeks so it's not the end of the word, but I'd rather not resort to that. Help!

Hi all Recently I have got a Lenovo V330-15IKB (Model 81AX) and how in my job the compatibility force me to keep the OS as Windows 7, I chosed this laptop because I have seen that still have drivers for Windows 7.I begin install Windows 7 x64, took drivers from Lenovo site, but surprise, first at installing from USB when first didn't work from beginning the touchpad but didn't want to continue install because of USB drivers.I managed to install Windows 7 finally, but the drivers for Touchpad didn't want to work at all, whatever I try.The same is also the drivers for graphical card, nothing works!!!May I have some help to manage these two things working under Windows 7 x64? Many thanks in advance.

You can try a program called DriverBooster. It can update/install missing drivers and replace faulty drivers. All of the drivers on the program are Microsoft WHQL tested and approved which means they are safe.

I've just got a new lenovo v330-14arr ryzen 5 with 8GB RAM.  When i check the computer properties however the available RAM is only 5.9GB.  I've done the usual and checked the boot settings in msconfig, which doesn't have max memory ticked, but it doesn't seem to ever go higher than 5.9.  I saw it may be a windows issue but the article i was reading was for windows 7 and 8, not 10 which im running.  Has anyone had this and managed to increase the useable memory?  I had a look in the BIOS but couldn't see any memory boost (or similar) which i read can also be changed sometimes, nor could i find anyway of checking how much memory is reserved for the video card which i also read could be the cause.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm debating upgrading the memory but would be hesitant if it's not going to be usuable.  Thanks.

Hello!I hope this is not an a repost. I own the lenovo v330-14arr 81B1001EUK with ryzen 2500U - 8 gb ram. I want to add a M.2 extra storage to my laptop so i can extend the total storage space and use m2 and the ssd (that came with the laptop) simultaneously.By reading many posts on this forum i have notice that there are a lot of cases that m.2 drives on this laptop and on the 15" version have not been recogonized at all when installing! I checked with the compatability-equivelant parts on lenovo part look up  and i found that the INTEL 660P 512G M.2 PCIe 2280 SSD is a good budget solution. So to be double sure (because i dont wont to throw money forn nothing), my question is, will this m2 drive work with this laptop? Has anyone tried? Will i manage to have 2 working drives in the end? I am sure this post will help other people too that want to expand their storage space. Thank you!

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me out...

I have just upgraded from XP Pro SP3 to Windows 7 Ultimate.
I cannot get '7' to recognize my wireless network card that was working previously with XP Pro.
I have re-installed the card on the board and also removed/replaced the driver (from disc).
The driver software installs and runs but tells me that the card is 'Unplugged'.

If I remove/reinstall the card, it finds new hardware and goes through all kinds of questions but the software still tells me the card is 'Unplugged'.
Is there something different I should be doing or is the card not compatible?

If I go to the internet connections available, it only shows the PPOE, no wireless is shown.

So I recently got this Linksys wireless-g router WRT54GS2. And my other PC has an external 2Wire 802.11g USB Wireless Lan card. Well the way the software that came with the router works was it has me basically allow each device that connects to it. Well I can get the 2wire card to get an actually really good connection to the routers network, but when I go to allow it on the router it does not show up as a device that's connected to the router.

I do know a little of what I'm doing. I named the network something odd like smurfs and so I know the card is in fact connecting to it. But for some reason I cannot get the router to see the 2wire card. Is it possible these aren't compatible with eachother?

Any help or tips would be great. I didn't think it would give me this much trouble.

A:2Wire Lan Card + Linksys Wireless Router compatible?

They certainly should be compatible.

Have you removed all the stored wireless network profiles and searched for the network? Have you tried removing all encryption from the router to see if it connects that way?
Download and run this Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector, post a screen shot of the main screen here.
To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to the forum, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

The college my son will be attending says the students' laptops must have an "802.11b" or "802.11g+b" compatible wireless card to access the college's wireless network.

My son has a Dell Inspiron 1525, which has a wireless 1395 WLAN Mini Card. Documentation on the computer says it has an IEEE 802.11n (???)

So, will my son's wireless card work, or does he need to get something else? Does a tech-savvy person need to install this, or could I do it?

A:Solved: Is my son's wireless card compatible with college network?

Don't worry the card will work for fine.

802.11n is going to be the next wireless standard and is backwards compatible with the other two main standards.

So an N card can connect to an N, G or B network, the card should already been installed on the computer and ready to use, the IT guys at the college will probably have an open day for new students to get them setup. They usually do.

A:What kind of SD card controller is in a Lenovo IdeaPad 120S-11AIP? SDHC or SDXC compatible?

Hi ITWorxLA,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As per system overview :
IO port: Memory card slot (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC)

Platform specification:
One microSD Card slot, supports up to 2TB

Usually there would be stickers on the box or laptop to indicate the format it also supports.
You can try to find/borrow  a spare 32GB SDXC to test first before purchase.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Hi everyone, the school I work for recently bought 30 Lenovo laptops. Laptops are really fine, and perfectly fit our needs, but... there's an issue with wifi network card. It's really difficult, if not impossible, to join our wifi network. Other devices, like phones or tablets, could join the network without problems, but laptops don't.Reading other boards and other messages in this board too I realized it could be due to a sort of "mismatch" between laptop's wifi adapter and service settings supplied by our network through Netgear WNAP320 access points. I tried different settings on the AP's (as I couldn' do the same on wifi adapters), but none of them seemed to work effectively.Did any of you addressed this issue before, so she/he could give me advices about the best way to solve it?Thanks in adavanceCiao Luciano

A:Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 - Lenovo V330 wireless issue

Hello lucianoz63! Welcome to Community Forums.
I believe it has something to do with your wifi network settings. What is the error when you're trying to connect? Try to connect to other wifi network or a phone hotspot to isolate the issue, if you can connect to another network, I suggest you contact your wifi provider to check the settings/configuration.

can the flex 2 14 inch wifi card be user upgraded to 802.11AC compatible wifi card, and if so could you tell me the compatible part?  is it dual band? Thanks in advance, that is the thing holding me from making a purchase before the April 1st deadline of current sale.

A:can Flex 2 14 wifi card be upgraded to AC compatible card?

Three years late.  The answer is "Yes!" The Lenovo Flex 2 14/15 can be upgraded with a compatible wireless-AC card. The card detailed below can be installed successfully in the Flex 2-14 and it's pretty much a plug-n-play device under Windows 10. Drivers are installed automagically so that the 2GHz and 5GHz wireless and Bluetooth can be accessed. I have two Lenovo Flex 2 laptops each running this exact wireless card. Make sure the wireless card you install matches the details listed below. Or else you'll get an "incompatible wireless module detected" error message when you try to boot the laptop. Name: Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 3160Model: 3160NGWFCC ID: PD93160NGUTA: H45043-003FRU: 04X6076EC: 770009 A genuine "Lenovo branded" Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 3160 wireless card can be purchased from: http://us.eetgroup.com/i/04X6076-Lenovo-Wireless-Module I've attached a picture of the correct wireless card.

Hi, You have an older legacy model PC and the newer UEFI enabled graphics cards are not going to work. Look for a NVIDIA GTX 660 or 670 and match it with a good power supply. 600 watts should be sufficient. Measure inside to make sure that the graphics card will fit before buying anything. Know what the return policy is before you buy the card.

I'm currently using LENOVO Y5070 with Realtek 8723BE wireless card(VERY VERY BAD). I have heard that there is whitelist on bios . so I want to replace into Intel AC7260 with FRU P/N : 20200552. (base on lenovo part list on pdf) " WirelessLan_Intel, Intel 7260 2x2AC+BT PCIE M.2 WLAN V2 Part number : 20200552 " But I can only find the card with FRU P/N : 04W3806  and  LC L/N : 20200552 (with FRU P/N:04X6007) My question is 1.which one will work with my laptop ? Can I use different FRU P/N but same model and capable for LENOVO ? 2. Do LC P/N is the same as FRU P/N ? Thank for any reply

Hi guys,

I'm looking to upgade my Radeon 1900XT. I've recently upgraded my whole computer with a faster mobo and CPU. Here are my specs.

720W PSU
Athlon Phenom 9850 Quad Core (2.5Ghz per CPU)
4GB RAM
64bit Windows Vista Premium
1680 Widescreen Asus Monitor

With those specs in mind which card would go best with it. I use my computer mainly for gaming, as well as my work with MS office etc. Games I'll most likely be playing this year include

Starcraft 2
Diablo 3
Dragon Age
Dawn of War 2
Fear 2
GTA 4
etc

I always play my games at either the highest or 2nd highest settings. I don't want to end up getting a card that is overkill for this resolution.

Thanks for any help.

Hi all, Lenovo Z70-80.   Frequently dropping wireless internet connection.  Ran the Lenovo diagnostic tool.  Support told me I needed a new wireless card.  Several WEEKS later it arrived... New card looks a bit different and larger and has more pins but still fit in the slot. With the new card when I boot the machine I get (before windows or anything else loads):"Unathorized Wireless network card is plugged in. Power off and remove it" Get back on the phone with support and was given 2 options - either sending the machine away for who knows how long or reinstalling the operating system which I don't understand how it will work if the machine won't boot to windows! Neither really work for me since the machine is used everyday all day for work. Any advice on what to do - or who at Lenovo I need to beg for a proper wifi card? Thanks in advance! Old CardNew Card
