My computer crashes anytime i play csgo

Q: My computer crashes anytime i play csgo

I would just play and it just freezes up and blue screens me here is the error i retrieved from Event Viewer

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

Preferred Solution: My computer crashes anytime i play csgo

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: My computer crashes anytime i play csgo

Im not sure this is posted in the right forum from the looks of it. If it blue screens(bsod) you need to follow the instructions in the bsod forum and post it there.

Every time I used Google Chrome after a few minutes my computer would freeze up and the I would get a non-stop beep. I uninstalled Chrome and tried using Firefox. This worked slightly better though Firefox would keep crashing and then after a while would exhibit the same behavior, worked for a couple minutes and then freeze/non-stop beep of death. I finally ran Hijackthis and took out everything that looked unfamiliar and ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Found two questionable items and one item Malware.Trace. Removed these things, but no luck, still after a couple minutes and then freeze / beep. At one point it even happened to me while I was trying to upated Anti-Malware. There doesn't seem to be any exact amount of time or browsing, sometimes it happens within 12 seconds sometimes I get five minutes. Has anyone had a problem like this before? I'd really like to not have to reformat. HELP!Hijackthis log i anyone is intereted: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/282796/internet-related-apps-causing-computer-to-crash/

A:Anytime I open a program that uses the internet my computer crashes

Because you have a log posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer. From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean. Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond. To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.

Hello, I have been getting random BSoD and memory crashes.

The BSoD happens pretty much random. I might be just talking on TeamSpeak, browsing the net on Firefox, or ingame on Arma 2 and bam BSoD.

The memory crashes mainly happen ingame on Arma 2.

I though maybe I had a software glitch, but I reinstalled the OS and Arma last night. I still got the BSoD pretty quickly and I was only on Teamspeak while I was installing the Epoch mod for Arma. That was last night around (7.15.15) 08:55PM. I have not received any BSoD so far today, however I did crash out due to memory around 01:05PM today. I think this is due to memory because the error that pop's up on screen says something about memory.

Here is what I found in event viewer for the crash at 01:05PM today.

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Internal parity error
Processor ID: 2
I was having the memory problem about 3 months ago. So I got two 8 GB corsair vengeance DDR3 sticks. Both installed totaling 16GB of ram.

Motherboard: Asus P8 Z77-V LE plus
CPU: Intel i5 3570K (overclocked to 4.2GHz) The CPU is water cooled
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti
RAM: Stated above
Hard Drive: I was running a WD black as C drive. Last night I reinstalled win7 on my samsung 840 PRO SSD. I do have some other drives that are backups.

Any help with this would be great, thanks

I built this computer last april, and it worked fine for a little bit, but then started crashing about once a day. I eventually wiped it all and re-installed windows 7 64 bit, which helped because then it only crashed about once a week. It will crash randomly now, sometimes 3 times a day or not at all for a week. Any help would be much appreciated. I've included the the dmp files and a health report, hopefully they are in the right format, since i've never done this before.

My computer is running windows 7 home premium, the full retail version.
All parts are just less than a year old.

These are the rest of the specs.
Processor: 3.3 GHz, 6-core, AMD Phenom 1100t, black edition.
Motherboard: Gigabyte 870A, AM3 socket

CD/DVD player: ASUS, 24x DVDRW
Memory: 8gb (2x4gb) patriot 1333mhz.

A:BSOD error 0x0000109 Crashes at anytime

These crashes were caused by memory corruption/exception (probably a driver).
Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

* If you are overclocking anything reset to default before running these tests.
In other words STOP!!!

* If you have raid update its Driver.

*Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

*Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Any errors are indicative of a memory problem.

If a known good stick fails in a motherboard slot it is probably the slot.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Driver verifier

Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you... Read more

Ive brought a new gaming rig,
as follows
CPU: Athlon II X2 240, 2.8Ghz
MBD: Biostar TA770E AM3 / DDR2 / SATA
RAM: 2GB DDR2 800MHz
Case: CoolerMaster Elite 330
PSU: WinPower 450w
One 300gb Sata drive
One 160gb Sata drive
One LG Dvd Writer
Graphic card: MSI Geforce 9500gt MD1G-OC/D2

Now when i first got it no problems at all,
i could play Crysis, Cryostatis, Riddick, Saw and Mass Effect.
All on high and max settings, running fine.

Two weeks later it wouldnt let me play any of these games without shutting down, 2-5 mins into a game i would hear a click and it would turn off but the computer would still be running half the time.

I thought it was a graphic card problem so i swapped with my geforce 7500GT
and it still crashed, i removed one of my sata and dvd drive and still the problem consists?

The cpu is at a 22-30?C
Graphic cards are at 45-60?C
And the case is well ventilated.

There is no dust on either card or cpu.

Over the last few weeks I've been having serious computer crash issues. It only seemed to happen when i play any type of videos on my computer (youtube, etc). All types, even if it was just a small video advertisment off to the side of a webpage it would crash my computer and it would bluescreen. At first this would only happen when i used the Google Chrome web browser, so i decided to try using the Opera web browser. This worked for awhile but then it started crashing in Opera too. So i switched browsers again. This time to the newest version of Mozilla Firefox. This worked for about 2 weeks and then my computer started crashing again. It's beginning to be a BIG problem and i'm worried its causing serious damage to my PC. Does anyone know why this is happening or know anything at all that might help??? thanks.

I have:
amd athlon 62 x2 3800+ 2.0ghz
3.00 GB ram
windows vista 32bit
nvidia geforce 9600 gso

and my computer crashes whenever i play any game. This only occurred when I went from windows XP to Windows Vista; it was a clean install. ill be able to play a game perfectly for a few seconds and then it will just crash. I'll play a old game like counter-strike on lowest settings and it will still crash. i've also tried underclocking the GPU and placing a huge fan next to my open case and it still crashes. I've had this problem for about a year, in the beginning I tried numerous ways to fix it and then just gave up for like 8 months, until now. From that time, I remember that i got BSODs that had nvlddmkm.sys errors. any help please!

A:Computer crashes when I play any game.

Posts: n/a
RE: nVidia BSOD nvlddmkm.sys - Depop
I have found and fixed the problem today. This is what appears to happen.
during the installation of the most current drivers 100.65 Vista, an OLD file
nvlddmkm.sys is copied into windows/system32/drivers and not the current one
in the install. As a result the new drivers are attempting to access a file
dated 11/2006 instead of 2/2007 ver which is in the newest WHQL
driver ver 100.65 vista 32.

Fix: Go to windows/system32/drivers and rename nvlddmkm.sys to
nvlddmkm.sys.old. Go to the nvidia directory and find the file nvlddmkm.sy_
and copy it to windows/system32. Using the cmd window (DOS box) type
EXPAND.EXE nvlddmkm.sy_ nvlddmkm.sys. When the expansion is complete, copy
the new nvlddmkm.sys to windows/system32/drivers and restart the computer.

Your computer should now work properly.

You will notice that any uninstall and reinstall of nvidia drivers will not
remove the old nvlddmkm.sys file and will not overwrite it with the newer
version. You have to do it manually. I do not know why this happens but who
cares as long it is fixed.
this from google

best best is to follow instructions above, download nvidia cleaner and newest driver and start over

and check your psu rating

He started looking around online and tried several suggestions. he ran across one post that said it might be the power supply? I wanted to wait and get help here before we go out and buy a new one because I am not sending this thing back again to have something else go wrong 3 stinking times is enough.
I think the only two games he has installed since getting the computer back are Half-Life and Star Forge Alpha. I'd test it out right now but I don't want to have to deal with restarting the computer if it crashes.

I recently bought a new gaming PC and it crashes when I'm playing games. Usually happens within the first 30 minutes to an hour, and not just the game, my entire computer crashes and I have to hit the power button. Sometimes It will restart and give me a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.
When I check the reliability I get a few different types of errors.
IAStorData.Svc has stopped working
ASGT.exe has stopped working
COM Surrogate has stopped working
Sometimes windows only says it was not properly shut down, but this error is present with every other error.

Also, after every crash, my Ge Force graphic optimization has to be redone, and my in game settings seem to re set somtimes.

I have googled these and tried many different thing to try and fix my computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers, and I have also re sett my windows, among other things.

I am running windows 10 on a custom built computer from IBuyPower, I have a 3 year warranty and I am in the process of sending it back but I'm hoping It can be fixed before then.

So my computer crashes whenever I play videogames for more than 5 minutes. What's interesting is that it is not just videogames but yesterday I was watching a 30 minute video on google and it crashed and I was also playing a fairly high-demanding video game on the internet today and it crashed again.

I have an HP DV8000 laptop which runs on windows xp and has an intel centrino duo processor and a nvidia geforce go7600 graphics card.

I was thinking about just reformatting my computer completely but I'm not sure if it will solve the problem or not and am looking for recommendations. I also have an external hard drive which I run most of my games off of and when it is hooked up my computer is always a lot louder, don't know if this pertains to the problem but though I would mention it. Hi All:

have searches this forum for above topics but have not seen this problem posted b4. Any time I click on a video on any site (or if it autoplays) the screen freezes, there is one beep, then it closes to a black screen. This was not happening until recently - videos ran OK. Also I can play video games so guess it is not the video card. No error message.
Have updated FF to current version and also have downloaded the current version of Flash. Also the same problem occurs with Chrome.
Any ideas?

My computer can play almost any game that has an offline mode (Crysis, Call of Duty 4 MW, Call of Duty 5 WaW, ETC.)

Games like that, but when I try to play games like ACE Online, WoW, Cabal Online, and basically any 3d online game. The computer crashes after a random amount of time. It freezes with a black screen and had a stutter sound of the last sound played.

I was just wondering if anyone else had a problem like this? It all started happening after my Ethernet port started acting up. (Unidentified Network). I'm currently using a wireless connection (seperate, netgear) to get online.

I'm still trying to figure out what the main problems are.. I've narrowed it down to either.. JAVA problems, my Graphic Cards are having a problem with these games.. (which I doubt..), or it has something to do with the Ethernet ports.

NOTE: It's mainly when playing directly from the network, AKA not private servers. Usually private servers do not cause my computer to crash.
NOTE2: I've also done a clean install but it always comes back to this.

If anyone has any tips, or any way to re... Read more

Without actual minidumps or Blue Screen error codes I would guess your suspicions are correct. It sounds like either a) you need to update your ethernet/NIC card drivers or b) you have a failing NIC card.

Computer slow-downs can be caused by many things besides an infection. See: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic44694.html

You stated that this started happening after installing dragon age. Have you tried uninstalling it to see if the problem goes away?

I thought I had a sound issue. (It isn?t but onto what the problem is in a second) It would stutter and be unlistenable when watching WMC or YouTube or any such like program.

I tried everything I could think of.

Installing and reinstalling my sound driver etc.

It then fixed itself for a week.

Then it went back to being jerky.

Like I said I thought I had a sound issue.

But then I noticed that if I close WMC (or YouTube, etc) so the picture wasn?t showing, then the sound would be perfect. So the problem was actually to do with the picture and not the sound. It seems to be running slow and stuttering.

I had already uninstalled and installed and then changed my codec packages.

Then my computer started to switch itself off, every time I play Full Tilt Poker. I?m from the UK so am allowed to use the site. It was just when I used Full Tilt. The computer would be happily running. I could browse Google, read emails forever no problems. But load up Full Tilt, and within a minute it would just switch off. No warning. Just crash then reboot.

I have opened up the computer and dusted the fans. No help.

I have noticed, today, that the computer has crashed when I looked at a YouTube clip. So if must be when any picture (video) is running.

Any ideas?

Any solutions?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone had input on this problem I've been having recently.

Today I tried to play Portal 2. It ran about the same as always for about five to fifteen minutes, and then my computer shut off abruptly. Confused, I started it back up after a minute and it booted back up with no problems whatsoever.

About ten minutes later I played Dead Island. After about the same amount of time, the computer shut off again. I disconnected my computer, switched off the surge protector, unplugged the computer, opened it up and cleaned the inside and the vents to clear up any dust using a can of air. After I plugged everything back in and turned it on, it started up normally again. I also did a complete scan with Advanced Systemcare and removed all the alert items.

Played Portal 2 again about an hour later. Same time span, same abrupt shut down.

Again, it's really weird because it only happens when I'm playing games like those. What's even more unusual is that I was able to play games like this flawlessly as recently as last night, when I beat Deus Ex Human Revolution. Since last night I haven't changed any drivers, settings, updates, or anything else that I can think of.

So, any ideas on where to start troubleshooting? I don't know if it helps, but I'll include my dxdiag after this paragraph. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Starting about two weeks ago, I have had a real problem with my Windows Media Player. When I try to open a video file (.asf, .avi., mpg., .wmv, etc.) the Windows Media Player opens with the "Opening..." status, but the video never plays. When I click STOP, the status changes to "Aborting...", but it never finishes stopping. Then if I try to close the window, I get the computer beep and the window cannot be closed. When I try CTRL+ALT+DEL End Task, it doesn't close the Windows Media Player and my computer freezes. If I try CTRL+ALT+DEL again, I get the blue screen "System is busy" message and my computer is frozen, forcing a restart.

This also happens with Streaming Windows media. Also, when I try to open a Quicktime .mov file, the Quicktime player does not open leading me to wonder if it has anything to do with video processing. I can't get any video to work on my computer now.

Does this have to do with codecs, my video card, or something else? Does this sound familiar? Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Windows 98 on an HP Pavilion 6535. I am currently using an upgraded version ( of the preinstalled Windows Media Player (6.4). Everything was running fine before and I have no knowledge of what could have caused it.

I recently (yesterday) ran Spybot S&D to get rid of some spyware, but nothing new came up and I have run Spybot plenty of times before without incident.

Hey everyone, was referred to here from Reddit. Been having trouble the past two weeks. Random crashes during CSGO, thought it was my headset because it always said USB malfunctioned. Changed headset, mouse, keyboard everything, still crashed. Tried replacing my thermal paste on cpu, still crashed so it isn't temps. One of my RAM sticks died 3 weeks ago but I replaced it. Problem started after that but I ran Memtest and no issues. I've uploaded my zip as instructed. Also all of my drivers are up to date. Any help is appreciated, getting very annoyed by this after two weeks.

I recently purchased this great new computer (for once, it's the one now in my system specs), but it came with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). I owned an upgrade copy of Professional, so I input the product key into Anytime Upgrade, and I was running Professional in a few minutes. But now, Windows is trying to activate, and it won't accept the product key! I have typed it several times now, and I do not think there are any typos. So I tried to upgrade again, this time from the disc, and the upgrade failed, probably because it would essentially be "upgrading" to the same version it already has.

So in short, I am now running a copy of Windows 7 Professional, installed from Anytime Upgrade, using the product key from a standard upgrade disc, which is going to expire in 24 days because it suddenly won't take the key. Is there any way I can extricate myself from this mess, or do I just need to contact Microsoft and work out the product key situation with them?

I ordered a dell laptop for my mom (xps15z). when i got it in i was on the fence about keeping it. then i decided to keep it, i used anytime upgrade on it to upgrade to windows 7 professional. After testing the laptop some more, im disgusted by the quality of it, not necessarily its performance (well besides the screen is just crap). The whole thing (even though some of it is aluminum or some kind of metal) is just plain cheap feeling. Everytime i go to open the laptop, my thumb gets caught on the some lame cheap chrome trim. (i dont see that trim lasting long). the lid/display is flimsy. it feels like a cheap toy. period. Im going to return it to dell and get her one of the samsungs that i tested out at some best buy nearby, its pretty solid feeling. its like a macbook or something.

anywho, what should i do in this scenario (about transferring the anytime upgrade). i believe the samsung will just have home edition installed, so i can use (or would like to use) this same key for it....

A:Transfer anytime upgrade to another computer?

You can migrate Anytime Upgrade to any machine which qualifies for it as it is retail software which you own for life. To remove it from Dell run a backup image you should always make of the native OS, or run Dell Factory Recovery: Dell Restoring Your Computer?s Software to the Factory Settings

Dell's have fallen out of favor whereas HP, Acer group and Toshiba have all risen in esteem.

Be aware of atrocious Samsung support, especially related to their absurd Recovery scheme. I'll drop you in on page 11 of a recent epic Samsong to get a preview of what to expect: New laptop, changing partition disks?

Hi ok so my laptop its a Gateway running with vista if that makes a difference. Anyway if i leave it untouched for any period of time it completely freezes and have to push the power button to turn it off. I tried changing my screen saver and whatnot but that didnt help. And i think my computer is running slower. But I dunno. And sometimes my Itunes freezes or when opening a program its slow. I have AVG and ran scans and i have spybot and they both havent come up with any virus's. I dont know anything about computers just that something is wrong please please help. Since i dont know anything about computers if you could please be detailed that would probably be soooo much more helpful. Thanks in advanced.

A:Anytime my computer is left untouched it freezes

First we need to know Some Specs:
Right click on "My Computer" and click properties. This will tell you what type of CPU/How fast its running (ex. Intel Pentium 4/2.4Ghz) and how much RAM/Memory is installed (ex. 512 MB of Ram) OR you can just tell us which Gateway you have (ex. E-100M).
I don't know anything about vista. Though I would try...

1.Disable your screen saver

2.Turn off all of running programs (bottom right hand corner icons, right click and exit)
3.Unplug or exit any internet connection.

4.Then try "walking away" lol or ITunes

Hi All

To start with, previously, my computer wouldnt boot and would remain with no screen - in fact the monitor would show 'no signal'. this was 2 months back and so was serviced and another mobo put in (under warranty so am guessing not a brand new replacement). Also replaced the 512mb ram with 2gb ram (1 card). Worked fine for 2 months. Now the computer just restarts itself of would go off automatically at anytime. Tried to maintain a log to see a pattern, but am stumped now for the last 3 weeks. At the service workshop worked fine w/o any problem for 8 days. Took it home and the problem started after 2 days. IT just goes off and restarts from itself from cold boot, infact the whole computer goes off fans and all, and then in 3-5 seconds comes on again. sometimes goes off and on 4 to five times in a few seconds. Then again another time works fine for 2-3 hours till i switch off.
So whats the deal here, have the workshop replaced with an incompatible mobo?

cpu dual core 3gz, 2mbram, vista home basic.
