I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hello to everyone.
I once seeked helped from here and got very good help with anti-malware programs and so on.

Now I got into trouble ,well one guy suggested that facebook crack stuff on address: ((crackfacebookpassword.org/ It's not working today anymore for me)), I wanted to see if it really worked, so I entered my fb address there, then there comes a button to press, well I pressed and after that I restarted computer in somewhat time. Then > 1. Some Magnipic keeps coming and and they appear all the time
2. I went into safe mode and deleted the folder.
3. Restarted, then windows freezes on startup
4. I downloaded Superantispyware Pro and did the scan, didn't find much.
5. Tryed with Malwarebytes newest, deleted several trojans or problems (I put the log here)
6. Still windows freezes on startup, I'm in safe mode...
7. Microsoft Windows Malicious Software removal tool didn't find anything.
8.I did restart after malwarebytes suggested that when I first ran it, and now it found again the two bad things: Winlock and backdoor.

Any ideas how I would get rid of them, if I delete them then they come back I guess?

If you were to have downloaded the cracked windows 7 ultimate, is there any way that microsoft can catch you if you recieve automatic updates?

A:Windows 7 cracked help?

Hi -

I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of piracy-catching techniches that may or may not be used by Microsoft.

What I can do is provide you with a link to the Microsoft Download Center so that you can obtain a Windows 7 RC product key code and then download Windows 7 RC so that you can burn the ISO that will then be used to install a very-legal copy of Windows 7 RC. Please do so within the next week - that is when the offer ends.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../download.aspx

Use ImgBurn to burn ISO - http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

If you wish to posess a legal copy of Windows 7 RTM (final version released to the public for sale) you will have to purchase one.

Get rid of the cracked copy of Windows 7. The stress over having it is not worth it.

This thread is now closed.

So, I recently purchased another copy of Windows XP Pro (my fourth copy because I am trying to comply with Microsoft's rules and put each Windows copy on only one machine). The CD is cracked and won't work anymore. I have the COA and CD KEY but I didn't make a back up copy of the CD, mainly cause I don't know if it would even work. The place where I bought it won't help me cause it's been just over 30 days. I e-mailed Microsoft for options but don't know if they will even respond.
So, what are my options? Would a COPY of windows xp pro from one of my other machines allow me to re-install someday and reactivate using the original (broken disc) CD key or can it even work that way? I'd appreciate your help and suggestions.

also how to check whether my windows xp is genuine or not as the laptop that i have came installed with xp and other softwares.

It means that the copy has been hacked to not need a product key, as far as how it will affect your laptop, don't know. Normally with a hacked copy of windows it won't validate or update.

I'm currently trying to get my windows 10 to be 64-bit from Windows 7 Pro 32-bit since I have 6GB of RAM and it looks like my current OS can't utilize this at all (says 2.89GB usable).

So I'm currently using a method to upgrade to a 64-bit machine using this guide here How to Switch From 32-bit Windows 10 to 64-bit Windows 10

I failed my first attempt because it doesn't seem to want to install from my USB which I created using the MediaCreationTool. Saying something like "my system is trying to install from a media device, please take out the USB, reboot, and try again" I'm trying again today and noticed something funny about the installation procedure which is this:
Yes, I'm using a Japanese computer and OS but I don't know Japanese well so I came to ask you guys for help if that's ok.
The part where I can choose which bit I want to install has some funny characters that look like it's cracked?
Can someone please tell me why this is and if this could influence a clean installation of Windows 10?
I really want a 64-bit OS.

Hi litsky and welcome to Tenforums.

Not sure what that's all about in the "bitness" selection.
Since you want to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit and you must do a clean install to accomplish this, your best bet is to get your install media from MSTechBench. You'll also want to grab your W7 keycode, in case you need to input that for activation.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Just looking if my Windows 7 is genuine or not, and assuming it is (I really think it is), is it a MSDNAAA copy or not? In short, I want to know if I can safely update to Windows 10 and get an all-time valid Windows 10 licence for my desktop (and if I will be able to do clean installs after that, I format my desktop mostly every year).

I'm trying to create a secure setup on my new Windows 8 laptop. Not worrying about the NSA, just want to keep a serious thief away from my data. I know 100% security is impossible. I'm planning to swap out my mechanical hard with with an SSD with 256-bit hardware encryption which requires a password on boot. So my data will be quite secure on boot. But if a thief were to get my laptop with the lid closed it will be in sleep mode (I won't shut down and reboot each time).
When coming out of sleep, Windows 8 is at the login screen. There are many free and paid software that run from a USB stick or CD/DVD that can retreive or reset a Windows 8 password. I'm wondering if a thief can run or load a program from a USB stick or DVD/CD from the Windows 8 login screen to get my Windows 8 password, whereby they could then log on and grab my data. This could be done if Windows 8 allows access to the CMD prompt from the login screen.

Hi everyone,

It seems i've cracked the digitizer on my laptop and now the touch function doesn't work properly. While the display still works fine there's a giant crack across the screen and it's really annoying. I had to disable the touch via Hardware Manager because it was really going haywire.

I keep trying to call the support number, 1.866.724.8600, (removed content) but the machine keeps telling me that it " can't connect me to anybody."

I don't understand. How can I get ahold of someone at HP so I can get this fixed?

I finished my work, laid my laptop next to my bed and closed the lid. I was shocked in the morning when I heard a "snap" upon openning the lid to find a diagonal crack extending from the microphone hole at the top and ends bottom near the lower right corner of the screen. The LCD part isn't broken, just the glass covering it so the touch won't work. So it needs to be fixed.I talked to the customer support and they said they can't help me, and this was my fault. Well, Yeah is it my fault to open it ?! Apparently opening the screen is too much for this fragile laptop. It's actually was my fault from the beginning for purchasing HP laptop again, I did nothing to the screen except open it. It's really problematic product where I I paid around 500$ last time to replace the cracked screen when they also said that it's "Accidental Damage", and struggled with the popular left hinge problem before, and now is this ... There is something wrong with this screen.I didn't abuse the computer as I did not slam my PC or throw it against something, just opened the lid like I do every day. This shouldn't happen.and if they saw it, they'd know. it's not the first problem and it's not the first hp laptop, but apparently it's the last one.

Hi petezajonc,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

A cracked screen may not be covered by the basic warranty.
In such events, should have an accidental warranty plan for Lenovo service center to accept it for repairs.
From here, you can check your current warranty status and type.

You can have it repaired with local service center like best buy else you may download the hardware manual for the guides if you have the tools to replace the LCD screen. The part number of the LCD panel/module can be checked here to search pricing and compare it from lenovo encompass or other resellers online.

With the pricing and details, you can decide if LCD replacement is an immediate concern for you specially if the touch screen is still fine.

Hope this helps answer your query.

I left my Pavilion 360 running last night and it didn't hibernate (weird)- when I woke up a few hours later, the LCD screen had popped out a bit from the housing on the upper left hand side (even weirder!) so I pushed it back in and closed the lid.  When I opened it this morning, there is a crack that starts in the bottom middle of the screen and radiates up and out- going to both upper left and right corners and the touch screen no longer works. It's still under warranty but I know that the screen is not covered. It wasn't dropped or misused in anyway! Is there a known defect?

Here's the Manual: Manual For touchscreens, HP does not assign a part number for just the glass and digitizer. In the HP system you must buy the whole 9 yards or nothing. HP Part for whole screen assembly: HD, (1366768), UWVA display panel assembly 809832-001 However, entrepeneurs do offer just the glass and digitizer as a replacement part.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/13-3-HP-Pavilion-x360-P-N-809832-001-Front-Touch-Screen-Digitizer-Outer-Glass-/142145925754?hash=item21188eb27a:g:u7cAAOSwdzVXv1Nu The Manual also shows no procedure to replace just the glass and digitizer. Are you absolutely sure the underlying LED isn't also cracked? Replacing just the glass requires some skills that normal laptop repair work does not involve like keeping out air bubbles. If you have ever replaced a cell phone screen you have the picture and, in fact, you can buy the digitizer and glass and take it to a cell phone repair shop and they can do the labor maybe better and cheaper than a computer repair shop.  If it needs the whole 9 yards, screen and all, those cost about $100 more than just the glass but also available on eBay.  Post back with any more questions.  If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as SOlution" to help others find it.

We purchased this laptop a week and a half ago and last night I went to open it and watch as it literally cracked down the middle of the screen.  My husband looked at it and it seems that where the lip is to open it in the middle of the lid there is no support.  The hinges are very stiff so that added pressure seemed to be the culprit.  We contacted HP and were on the phone with them for over 2 hours last night and tonight.  They would not listen to what we were saying and told us we had to contact the store we bought the laptop from.  Has anyone else had issues with this?  If you had it fixed, can you tell me what you did to get it fixed?  We own nothing but HP and after this experience with them, we will never own antoher one.

I have product number K2Z69AV. I dropped my laptop and cracked the screen. It is only 10 months old and still within the mfg warranty period. Will the warranty cover this? How can I find out and who do I send it to, if covered? Thanks

Hi, The answer is no. Not unless you are subscribed to ADP (Accidental Damage Plan) that HP offers. It includes liquid spillage, Accidental drops ets. Manufacturer warranty is for component replacements only but it doesn't include any customer induced damage. This is the number that you should call. HP SUPPORT: 1800 474 6836. Give them you computer's serial and product number for them to create a ticket for you. State what happened to the computer so you could get a support immediately.

Hi, I was wondering if someone knows if this "cracked screen" issue was resolved. I just opened my laptop which has been just sitting on top of my desk and found a cracked on the screen (a line that starts at the top right corner and ends at the bottom rigth corner). I'm surprised because I am extremly careful with my stuffs and I haven't taken this computer out of my apt, it has been just sitting on top of my desk. I can't even understand what happened!!!. If someone knows something please reply. I appreciate any information I can get.

Dear HP Customer, If you have purchased any additional careapck like ADP ( Accidental Damage Protection) then you may reach our Technical support and can initiate warranty services provided it falls under the terms and conditions. However, you can walk into any our HP Authorised service center and can get the unit diagnosed for the LCD replacement and the cost if the unit does not have ADP. Further information can be obtained by contacting our Tech support. Contact HP:http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/support.html Thanks,Mahesh

I, like many other previously documented, suffer from a badly-cracked screen. I've endured it for months as it's usable, apart from occasional errant pressure on the touch screen from the broken glass mimicking a touch screen action. I can usually get over this by rebooting. However, it's less than ideal. This is an expensive computer with an obvious unforseen design fault, probably the result of taking the case to its design limits. It's living on borrowed time until a catastrophic failure means I gotta do something about it. My questions are as follows:1. My digitizer seems functional, so can I just replace the screen glass?2. If so, where can I get it cheapest?3. Can I get it in the UK? Suppliers?4. If not, does the whole lid need replacement, and where can I purchase one? It's not possible for me to go through the rigmarole of returning it to HP (USA), which is where I bought it, as I'm returning to the UK for 2 months. So, warranty nothwithstanding, I'm gonna have to get this done myself. I hope I've stated the situation clearly, so you can provide a clear-cut pathway for me to get this sorted.Sincerely,Martin K
