I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I want to use Office OneNote and pen to take handwritten notes in class. The Yoga 900 is a little too thick in laptop mode to write well with the heel of my hand resting on the table top making it difficult to write along the bottom edge of the screen. When I lay the Yoga 900 flat, i.e., the keyboard and the screen facing up and the unit is at 180 degrees, the Yoga 900 is not too thick. Also, I want the Yoga 900 to rotate 90 degrees and be in portrait. In another words, I want it to function like a piece of paper. Not too much to ask for touch-screen computer. Is there any means of getting the Yoga 900 to operate this way? At Best Buy the salesman and I tried "locking" the screen in portrait when in "tablet mode" then laying it flat. It didn't work. Any chance Lenovo will make this a feature in its next Yoga 900 generation? Thanks.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 710 14 " Signature Edition 2-in-1 PC- bought it two days ago. W10. I have problems with the touchscreen when using it as a tablet. The touchscreen is working perfectly when it's in PC mode. Once I fold it and putting it flat (down at the table etc.)- the screen is no longer responding. It's like the touchscreen function is shuting off somehow. Anyone knows how to solve this?? Thanks

To add, I have to restart the computer to make them work again. I am almost absolutely sure it has to do with the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution drivers. They are not compatible with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

Hi.  I have a problem with my yoga 710 in tablet mode. The on screen keyboard just pops up and goes away after a secound.  Some say its a problem with Chrome. But the problems also occurs when i try to log in to windows in tablet mode. The keyboard pops up, and goes away so i cant type my passcode. If i flip the pc out of tablet mode and opens the onscreen keybord by pushing on it on the taskbar it stays open. Someone know how to fix this?

Hi all, I've noticed that my Yoga 910 is not auto rotatingwhen I set it to tent mode nor to tablet mode. Not only it doesn't auto rotate but it also keep the keyboard active... Not sure if this is a faulty sensor problem or just some bug. I've tried to follow the solutions presented in other topics but without success even tried a system restore but the problem is still here. I can't really identify which update has created this situtation but I know that when a couple of months ago it was still working. I also have the impression that more are affected, so could Lenovo release a patch to troubleshoot and solve such an important issue for a Yoga product (basically there is no Yoga functionality with this problem). Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

HiHave been loving my Yoga 900 but the touchscreen has started acting up.  While it seems there are lots of issues with Yoga touchscreens I didn't find one quite like myne.I realised it works okay in laptop mode but as soon as the screen gets to about 100 to 120 degrees rotation - so before reaching the switch point to tablet mode - the touchscreen becomes unresponsive.  If rotate it back so it's 90 degrees or so then it starts working again.  If I boot with screen rotated then device manager has an exclamation mark for an I2C HID device, status says "This device cannot start. (Code 10) A request for the HID descriptor failed."  If boot with screen around 90 degrees then I see the touchscreen device running normally.Any ideas?I'm thinking maybe the ribbon cable could be the problem? How doable is opening up the display panel? Thanks for any thoughts!

I was really pleased with my Yoga 510 at first but it has quickly developed some annoying issues. Most annoying is how utterly usuable it is in tablet mode. Simple things like clicking into a textbox on a web page causes a five second day. Likewise clicking into the address bar or trying to move the cursor to a new position causes the same frustrating delay. Switch off tablet mode and it instantly works perfectly. Switch back to tablet mode and you're back to frustrating delays in everything you try and do. Is there anything you can suggest because i chose the Yoga for its ability to act like a tablet when required.

Hello, I just received a new Yoga 2 13, 8Gb, 256Gb SSD. I have been using it exclusively as a laptop. It worked just fine for a few days. I did notice once the screen flipped sideways and the keyboard turned off randomly but after turning the laptop on its side and back, everything went back to normal. Today, after closing the lid and putting the machine to sleep, then waking it up, it awoke in tablet mode with the sideways screen and turned off keyboard. To do anything I have to use the on-screen keyboard, which does work. Nothing I did could get it to go back to laptop mode, or for autorotate to ever work. Rebooted several times, no. The "Lenovo" signage does show correctly in landscape as soon as the machine turns on, but once it gets to the login window, it's back to sideways tablet mode. The auto-rotate button (which I had never touched prior) doesn't appear to do anything. I click the button, it says "autorotate off" then I click it again to "autorotate on" and still no rotation. I called Lenovo technical support, and he tried (after remote desktoping into my machine) to try a different display driver. The Windows "Basic" Driver, the Intel Driver from March 2014, and the latest Lenovo display drivers downloaded did nothing. He turned off "ycp" or something similar as a startup service, no help. In Screen Resolution, he changed the orientation of the display from portrait to landscape which did fix the orientation problem but did n... My organization requires ctrl-alt-del before signing in, and I have noticed there is no way to do so in tablet mode.  The screen also refers to a Windows Security Button, but I don't see any buttons that would fit that description.  I've seen on other threads for other Thinkpads that volume up + power works, but since there's no volume button on the 2nd Gen Yoga, I'm not sure what to do.  Really hoping unlocking won't always require flipping into laptop mode - a minor inconvenience but one I'd like to avoid.

Ok... seems that disabling a Lenovo service called YMC (through the task manager) completely solves this issue with no negative effects. The service is in charge of disabling the keyboard in tablet mode etc., but it seems that it's redundant in Windows 10 (perhaps Windows controls this itself?). Disable, if it causes problems enable it again.

But at the password screen it just doesn't respond. I have to plug in an external USB keyboard to enter the key. After that it starts and Boots into Windows where the internal keyboard is working again. I am suspecting the keyboard disabeling mechanism when you put it into Yoga mode, because the error seems to happen more often when the keykeyboard is folded away. Do you have any suggestions how to resolve the issue? I have a few-months old Yoga 2 11 that was working perfectly, until a few weeks ago when I went to use it in tablet mode the display screen went all out of whack. It turns the screen, but only half of it - the top half of the screen is turned and the menu bar shows up in the middle of the screen, and the bottom half looks like the screen in regular computer mode.  I've tried restarting, tried turning tablet mode off, but every time I flex it back to use as a tablet this happens, virtually making that feature unuseable. I have a basic model of the YOGA 300 (11 BY).  Due to size limitations of the eMMC drive, I couldn't upgrade to windows 10 (not enough disk space). So I downloaded the windows 10 installer/ISO to a 32gb SD Card, and upgraded from there.. actually (probably a mistake in retrospect) I did a clean install.. Windows 10 runs with no problems, and I downloaded./installed all the Lenovo drivers for windows 10 for this machine. Unfortunately I now have two issues: 1. When I flip the screen into tablet mode, the laptop doesn't seem to realise, and so I don't get the auto-tablet mode that I would expect? 2. Even with all the Lenovo drivers for this machine installed, I do not get any touch-screen response at all.. only mouse driven. Any help would be appreciated. P.S:  Anyone with the same version of YOGA 300 with an eMMC who wish to gain more drive space?  You can buy a cheap USB 3.0 slimline USB disk (because the SD Card sticks out a bit) and create a VHD which gives you a second "real drive"... this was particularlly useful when wanting to store my dropbox/onedrive sync locations!

Hi forums, it seems that my old 11S might be breaking down on me...So laptop mode, tent mode all work fine as far as I can tell.  However, when I fold the laptop all the way (Tablet Mode), it will start bugging out, constantly locking and unlocking rotation, and enabling and disabling rotation. I can't quite tell if this is caused by physical motion, but if it is, its sensitive to the slightest jolt or pressure.  At this point I'm attributing the problem to hardware, but is there anything I can do to remediate this?  I don't really mind opening it up either, its way past warranty.  Thanks!

Over the last few months my Thinkpad S1 Yoga has developed a habit of randomly entering tablet mode when the lid is about 90-120 degrees open, as if the lid was swung past 180 degrees. Consequently the keyboard and trackpad are disabled when this happens. Closing the lid to force the computer to sleep and then opening the lid again removes the symptom. Moving the lid past 180 degrees sometimes makes the computer go into laptop mode again, or sometimes makes the display rotate 90 degrees while staying in tablet mode. I tried to remove the sensor in Device Manager and let plugnplay rediscover it but the problem remains. My Yoga is randomly going into tablet mode when I move the lid. All drivers and BIOS are up to date. I'm noticing it most often when I open the lid after closing it while the laptop is powered on. The fingerprint reader still functions, but the keyboard is unresponsive. I recognize that it's going into tablet mode because the keyboard backlight turns off and the keyboard stops sending input, and Windows shows the "auto-rotate on" message. I normally open the lid to about a 90 degree angle, maybe a touch past that - not nearly far enough to where tablet mode should be kicking in. I have to play with the lid, moving it back and forth by small increments to make it realize it's not nearly positioned far enough back to be in tablet mode. Sometimes I have to push it all the way back to ~180 degrees, and then bring it back to ~90 before it realizes it. Extremely annoying.
