Preferred Solution: Hi i have been crashing whenever i play csgo.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I would just play and it just freezes up and blue screens me here is the error i retrieved from Event Viewer

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

Im not sure this is posted in the right forum from the looks of it. If it blue screens(bsod) you need to follow the instructions in the bsod forum and post it there.

My PC started crashing suddenly after installing Windows 10. I obviously thought it was fault of the OS so I reinstalled 7 Ultimate x64, yet the crashing kept on happening. I haven't done any changes to my PC and it's been stable for months. Last change was GTX970 in May. i5-3570K is overclocked to 4,4GHz but it's been rock solid so I doubt it's the cause of issues. I'm honestly completely out of explanations.

Setup: i5-3570K (4,4GHz @ 1,32V), MSI GTX970 (Stock, was OC'd before), ASRock Z77 Pro3, 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600MHz, Samsung 840 Evo 250GB, Kingston 60GB SSD cant remember model, 1TB HDD.

From what I can tell, the issue shouldn't be GPU, Memory, PSU or SSD/HDD drives. I doubt my OC'd i5 would suddenly start acting up as it's been stable and temps have been good (I'm running AIO water). I'm pointing the finger towards motherboard as it's been acting up once in a while, but I'm not sure if that makes any sense.

I've tried:
Reinstalling clean Windows a few times - crashes and BSOD here and there keep on happening with nothing installed apart from standard drivers, Steam and CSGO.

Reinstalling Windows to another SSD - no effect.

Downgrading to 3 different Nvidia drivers and been using 353.30 - maybe little bit less crashes, no real effect

Running Memtest86 for 8 hours - 0 errors

Running 3Dmark on loop for 2 hours while overclocking the card - stable as a rock, TDP 110% so PSU should be fine

Taking another memorystick out - no effect

Hey guys,
I just built a comp for my parents, installed a corporate version of xp professional and everything seemed to be working fine. They want to use it for a home theater machine, so i installed powerdvd. They tried to play a dvd and got a flashing green screen with a small portion of the dvd menu visible intermitently. I tried running the dvd in windows media player and it will idle for a while before crashing completely. I have the same corporate version, and have had no problems with power dvd. I was going to reinstall windows, but I wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions.
Here are the specs
Asus A8VM (geforce 6100 integrated)
Amd 3200+
1 GB OCZ Gold Ram
WD caviar 160 GB
Lite On CD RW Dvd rom drive

A:Crashing when i play a dvd?

Have you tested using different DVDs? And is it only video MPEG DVDs that cause the crash?

What version of PowerDVD is installed?

See if the decoder is supported in your Windows version:

If you run eventvwr.msc and look in the System log do you see any "disk" or "atapi" errors?

A:Keeps crashing whenever I play a game

Your error code (109) could be caused by a driver or hardware. Please run these two tests.
Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

*Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

*Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

2-Driver verifier

I'd suggest that you first backup your data and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next&... Read more

So 1st hi to all

Just want to find out if any1 can help me with my problem? My pc crashes and reboots while im playing games. I think its a graphics card problem though. Ill tell you what i did now. I had a P4 for the last umteen years so it was time for an upgrade. My PC specs now are as follows:

Pentium Dual core 3ghz Coolmaster CPU fan with back plate screw in
2 gigs transcend ram (2 x 1 gig)
Gigabyte 7900GT 256meg SLI ready
Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Motherboard
Gigabyte 3D Aurora chassis
1 x 200 WD IDE HDD (Windows)
1 x 250 SG IDE HDD
1 x 250 SG SATA HDD
AOpen 400watt PSU
AOpen DVD writer
5.1 surround sound onboard
So this is whats happening.

I 1st noticed my front audio and mic started playing up. If the mic was pluged in it would say mic unplugged, if u put the head phones in with the mic it would say nothing connected. Anyway to sort that out i just disconnected the front jacks. Then my pc started crashing and rebooting continuously but it only happens while im playing games.

I 1st thought it was overheating the cpu but ive put freash heat sink and put a cpu fan that screws on a plate behind the board. This didnt work so i thought it could be vista as i just put it on. Ive reformatted and changed from vista ultimate SP1 to XP SP3 and still it happens. I tried new board drivers and it still happens. I tried new graphics drivers but same thing. I have stripped the system back to pieces, cleaned it and put it back together as you can guess same thing.... Read more

A:My pc keeps crashing while i play games

what do you mean it crashes you need to be a little more specific, as in does it give you a BSOD does it say any kind of error code or does it just restart, if it just restarts check your BIOS monitors and see if anything is overheating as thats usually the first indicator if something is heating up. If its a BSOD right down the error then you can google it and see what it pertains to same with the error code.

So I recently just fixed a BSOD error and haven't had a problem since.
Now I get this message that randomly comes up saying "Windows must now restart because the Plug and Play service terminated unexpectedly." I have no idea where to even start with this.
Just in case I have attached what a BSOD error post would include (the zip folder).
My system specs are down below and all drivers are up to date as far as I know it to be.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

A:Plug and Play Crashing

This message that you got only happened once as per the logs... and the precursor to that was the MSI_supercharger......

If the error appears again... then try disabling it and checking

Hi Gaupz; welcome to the forum. Sorry you are having problems. Please read this tutorial, follow the instructions and post back. We will be glad to help you.

Bugcheck A, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Usual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

Bugcheck BE, ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY. Usual causes: Device driver, Memory.

1. I recommend that you update Windows 7 with SP1: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ice-pack-1-sp1

2. After updating, if you are still getting BSOD's, enable Driver Verifier, carefully following the instructions in this tutorial: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable. Upload all dumps triggered by Verifier.

Hi I hope anyone can help me here. Yesterday I got a warning that my Flash plug-in wasn't working anymore and i can't get it to work since. I wasn't doing anything special when the first 'crash' happened, but just before it did my screen suddenly went black for like 10 seconds.
Flash is updated, and Chrome too. I tried playing videos on Chrome, Firefox and IE but none of them work. When I try to play the videos that are saved on my computer, they do not work either. Its hard to browse the internet because the plug-in keeps crashing too. I tried reinstalling it and turning it on and off but that didnt help. I did a virus scan (i just have some free one, AVG) but it didn't find anything.
Im using windows 8.1
The exact warning I get is: "The following plug-in has crashed: Shockwave Flash"
When I try to go to youtube to play a video i get to see like the first frame of the video, and the bar is loading but it doesn't start playing
While searching for an answer I saw a lot of answers to this are to check if you have Flash installed 2 times since its 'build-in' on Chrome but thats not the solution for me I only have it downloaded 1x.
edit: i just realized i probably should've posted this elsewhere but i have no idea where oops

I recently bought NFS:Most Wanted, got it installed and up and running with no problems.
So I begin to play everythings running smooth, then....BAM game closes and there is my desktop stairing at me.
Im a little dumb-founded so I re-open the game and it loads fine up to the main menu and then dumps me back to my desktop again.
Little pissed of, I restart my comp and then re-open Most Wanted. Runs fine but once more, the game crashes to my desktop.
My temps are ok.
Idle my CPU runs at 31.6c and my video card runs at 35.0c. While playing the game the CPU goes to 33.0 and my video card goes to 40.0c.
I don't think heat is the factor. I got all my drivers up to date.
Any help?

I don't get a BSOd, but this seemed like the most closely related forum section to post in. Dota 2 keeps crashing whenever I try to play a game. In general, my computer is also HORRIBLY slow when doing rather basic things, such as playing a Youtube video. My computer was running just fine yesterday, but now it's lagging horribly. Attached is the results of the dm_log_collector. Also, my system specs are filled in, but please note that I have 2 graphics cards, not just 1.

What I know/have attempted:

1. I ran 3 free Anti-virus programs and only 1 found a file to quarantine, however even after it did so I'm still experience lag/crashing.

2. NVIDIA Geforce Experience crashed while trying to install a new driver. After I re-opened it, it said I had the latest drivers.

3. I have both an Intel card and an NVIDIA card, but when I run dxdiag it reads my card as the Intel one. However, I heard that you can sometimes have Windows select a certain graphics card when running certain programs. I might have it set to do this, however, I'm not sure.

My windows 8.1 asus ultrabook. When I try to play a downloaded games online or even click the button it would just not respond. Even when I update my video drivers it never says it updates (geforce exp. problem). I have looked for firewalls issues but I can't find the problem. Combofix doesn't work for window 8.1 so that could have been an easy fix (maybe). My computer has been like that a few months.

Hi Hass3 In order to be able to assist you with your issue, it would be useful if the helpers are had access to your BSODs minidumps. In order to do that, I suggest you to create a folder called "Dumps" on your Desktop, then, go in the C:\windows\minidump folder, and copy all the files inside in the "Dumps" folder on your Desktop. Once this is done, archive the folder by right-clicking on it, selecting Send to... followed by Compressed archive (.zip). Once this is done, attach the archive to your next reply and post it.

Problem description: Just built two brand new rigs last night. When trying to run Age of Conan or Team Fortress 2 it crashes to a blue screen and I get the error nv4_mini.sys and a wall of text. This is only one of the new PCs, the other one works flawlessly and has the same components.

Attempted fixes: Taking the advice of my internet friends, I switched the video cards, this did not work, the same one kept crashing and the other computer still worked fine. I took each stick of RAM out one at a time and this did nothing either.

Recent changes: Brand new computer.

Operating system: Windows Vista x64 ultimate.

System specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (4 gigs total each computer)
DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

EVGA 512-P3-N845-AR GeForce 8800GTS
CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V power supply

I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes. I googled nv4_mini.sys and I get nothing. My theory is the mother board may be funky, so hopefully I can RMA it from newegg. I also have the lastest drivers from the nvidia website, installed the chipset drivers and have fully updated windows.

But any suggestions would be welcomed, I'd rather not go through the hassle of doing all that.

I have a Sapphire rhadeon 7850. It can run almost any game on highest quality. So I purchased Crysis the original off steam and attempted to run it at Very high settings. After about 10 mins the graphics card crashed. So I had to downgrade it to High. After about a day playing on high it begun to crash on high as well. I now can only run it on medium. Today it crashed while I was playing Planetside2 and it has never don't that before. And just a few minutes ago it crashed while I was playing saints row 3. I believe I have the latest drivers and I don't know exactly what to do in the amd catalyst. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

A:Radeon HD 7850 crashing when I play games

Try the following things:

Uninstall and go through a Clean Re-install of your graphics drivers.

Download HWmonitor or your choice of GPU tempreature monitoring tool and see what type of Temps you are getting while playing games. Overheating will definitely make a GPU crash. (If it is overheating, go ahead and thoroughly clean your GPU. )

What is the rest of your computer setup?
What resolution do you play these games at?

Any help would be appreciated......I've posted on another board but all suggestions thus far have fallen flat.

Here's the jist of my issue..

I had a new pc built....I used a drive from the previous pc that had XP on it as the main hard drive. I also added in two other drives.

(quick sidenote: I'm very much a novice here. I know a fair amount, but some terms still are new to me so bear with my ignorance.)

The pc was/is running fine for the most part.....however, one reoccurring problem persists...

When I try to open a video (via Winamp, or MS Mediaplayer) it opens, plays for about 2 seconds, then stutters/freezes up and blue screens and reboots. The same thing happens when I shut down VUZE, my file sharing program, MagicDisc or Nero....the programs open ok, work ok...but when I shut them down (80% of the time) I get the blue screen.....
I can play all my music files no problem, I can have AVG running, winamp, my online brokerage windows based program and other up and running fine with no problems...also no problems when I shut them down...but if I open a video, everything goes kerplunk!
When the pc reboots I get the error message and when I click on details here's what it say's:

the error reads that there was a problem with:

I can type out what the full blue screen say's if necessary. I took... Read more

First off, let me say that this problem may not be Windows 10 exclusive, but it happened to me in Windows 10 (I haven't tried in Windows 7 yet), and that is the reason I am making my post here.

I've been running the Windows 10 Technical Preview for about a week on build 10130. My problem started two days ago, when playing a competitive match on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. My ping will be low (under 50 most of the time) and then randomly jump up to the 200 range for no reason (it stays at 200 for barely a second, but is still very distracting). This problem has occurred on every server I have played on since that day (community and Valve official).

(I made it terrible quality for a smaller filesize, therefore becoming a faster upload)

Things I've tried:
Restarting my PC
Restarting my router
Connecting over WiFi
Connecting over Ethernet
Resetting my router
Resetting my network adapter settings

Has this/does this happen to anyone else, and does anyone know of a fix (I've tried google, but nothing I found helped).

ADSL by any chance? this looks like aluminium degradation to me, it's basically from your cables going to your home which are starting to degrade over time, they were probably installed in the early 90's when copper was super expensive and BT used aluminium instead, bad idea, can you do a test over at this address> Pingtest.net - The Global Broadband Quality Test and post your results below.

So I have this processor amd phenom 9100e quad core 1.8 ghz processor which I use to play csgo. When I started playing first time I noticed that I have pretty low fps (50-70) in game and I did some research and found out that some amd phenom processors suffer from this thing called tlb bug. So I went to my bios setting and disabled tlb fix and got much more fps in cs go now (80 -120). However after doing that my csgo feels like slow and sluggish like I had huge input lag. This makes the game unplayable even tho I have more fps. With Tlb fix enabled there is no input lag and it feel right but the fps is horrible. Eithet way the game is unplayable so I have no idea what to do

Lately when I play CSGO, at certain times, my fps went down from 120 to 40fps.

When I'm at 120 fps, my cpu speed goes to maximum at 2.4 to 2.7 Ghz.
When I'm at 40 fps, my cpu speed goes to its default which is 1.8 Ghz.

I wonder why this happen sometimes. I can't even play properly at 40 fps and I don't know why my cpu speed goes lower to 1.8 Ghz. Other games are not like this. But my main game is CSGO so I need this to be fixed and stay constant at 2.4 to 2.7 Ghz. Please help.

My laptop CPU speed is 1.8 Ghz but it has a TurboBoost feature which can go up to 2.4 Ghz, maximum I notice is 3.0 Ghz but rarely, only up to 2.4 or 2.7 Ghz

I need help in choosing the best setting for CSGO, to play with high performance without fps drop. The game's requirements are :

OS: Windows? 7/Vista/XPProcessor: Intel? Core? 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom? X3 8750 processor or betterMemory: 1GB XP / 2GB VistaHard Disk Space: At least 7.6GB of SpaceVideo Card: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0

It works on Windows 8 and I know my laptop specs is not powerful enough to run in high settings so I reduce to the lowest possible. Works fine but some stuttering of repetitive audio and frequent fps drop. I'm running in 1024x768 resolution. Need some explanation for :-
Multicore renderingMultisampling Anti-Aliasing modeTexture Filtering modeFXAA Anti-AliasingWait for Vertical Sync

Is my settings right? Need some tips for my laptop settings to run smoothly for this game.

A:CSGO Settings - Performance

Multicore rendering.
It just lets you use both cores in a CPU to boost performance.

Multisampling Anti-Aliasing mode
a technique used in computer graphics to improve image quality.

Texture Filtering mode
texture filtering or texture smoothing is the method used to determine the texture color for a texture mapped pixel, using the colors of nearbytexels (pixels of the texture)

FXAA Anti-Aliasing
Smooth the edges.

Vertical Sync
Keep a track of FPS. ( I keep it off in all the games. )

Upgrade the drivers for your Intel card and then check the gameplay.

I've had this build for over a year and have been playing both CSGO and GTA with no problems for quite a while. The first BSOD came whilst using the shadow play feature that Nvidia offers. I turned shadow play off and did a fresh install of Nvidia Experience and updated the drivers for my GPU (Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 ti). This seemed to work for about a a day or two and then I had another BSOD. Since then I have been experiencing BSOD irregularly. Sometimes I can play any game for hours with no problem, other times I have BSOD as soon as I start the game up. I've checked for memory errors, updated the GPU driver, scanned for malware and I'm still at a loss. Would greatly appreciate any insight. Thank you

Ever since i got new RAM in my pc i've experienced random BSODS with random errors, lately it was quiet but recently when i started picking up on CSGO it kept coming back ( Note: it only occured reguraly on CSGO and no other game)

I understand that it could be an RAM stick gone bad but doesn't that seem odd to you? Since it's litteraly brand new ( and it's only one brand since the two came in a kit of 16 gb 2600MHZ)

To further help you understand the error, i'll paste the memory dump and a Bios screenshot of my memory.
