Organizing emails for each person so we know what each person is doing

Q: Organizing emails for each person so we know what each person is doing

Hello Everyone

Is there a feature in Outlook where a whole department which receives emails daily (Accounting) can somehow organize themselves to show what each person is doing. Right now they are seeing the emails but not telling each-other what there doing and we think that some things might get missed. I had an idea of using the categories and changing the colours/names to each person in accounting. But that would make each staff members email extinct. I see an option called tasks in Outlook could there be a way of doing it in there? We are all using Outlook 2007 and running Exchange 2010.

Preferred Solution: Organizing emails for each person so we know what each person is doing

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Organizing emails for each person so we know what each person is doing

I hate to be cute(but can't resist), and this will bump your question back to the top of this list....But what your suggesting is the managers job(assign and track task). Outlook is not the place to manage your business.

I phoned Microsoft (Ireland) this morning to try and talk to someone about a problem. After choosing options on several successive menus I chose an option and was told to 'go to www. whatever', and cut off. I want to talk to a person, not be referred to the internet - that is why I am phoning. How do I get access to a person please?

Got two emails from different @com addresses. I think they are from the same person. By looking in the details of the properties section, would I be able to tell?

A:Two Emails - Same Person?

Pretty unlikely if the person was trying to trick you, but you can check out the properties, and if you see a lot of the details/ip addresses in there are the same, it very well may be from the same person.

I am using Thunderbird, and have the spam filter all set up correctly. The annoying part is, all the spam I get is in exactly the same format, that it would be hard to say that I'm just getting spam from lots of people.

These emails are automatically put into the spam folder, but i do have to check the folder to see if there is any personal emails.

Is there a way of tracking who or which group is sending me these emails; they all have different addresses but i assume they are just being covered.

Attached is a pdf of one of the emails, and a screen dump on tb with these emails in.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I am currently using Thunderbird as my email program and wonder if there is any special facility so that I can block and return emails from a single email address? In other words, I want to block any emails sent from a person, at the same time sending a "Non-deliverable" response to that sender. Thanks for any advice.

A:Block unwanted emails from specific person

see this please

the answer is NO not BLOCK as such but delete automatically on receipt

Here is some more info for you

I do not use it - Thunderbird but my understanding is that as it is only an email client it cannot actually block and return undelivered email to sender

I got a new Acer laptop in mid-Dec 2010. I've always received emails without problems from everyone. I realized yesterday that I'm not receiving emails from 1 business (only), but am from everyone else. I had the business send over the emails 2 different times to my regular comcast.net email and also another email account I have through a local internet provider. The email was not received at either account through my new laptop. I have Windows 7 on the new laptop (which I had XP on the old laptop), and use Microsoft outlook 2010 on the new and the old laptops for emails.

I've added the email extension to receive all emails in the spam folder and filters from that business, but have gotten nothing.

Any ideas?

Reason i am posting is because i found unknown accounts user profiles and also under credential manager a generic credential that keeps coming back after i delete it! its called virtualapp/didlogical it has its own user name of 02dtdibrhdkr and a password i can not see. The only thing i can think it may be is the SLI patch that i am using but i dont know if its a hack or not. The patch enables sli on non sli mother boards through the use of VM.

I'm sorry, but i am really inept and having a hard time getting to know Win8.

I just purchased a new laptop which came with a free 30 day trial of Microsoft Office. I had intended to set my laptop up with 2 users - both me, but one for work and one for personal.

So what i did was accidentally install the Office trial on my work log on, when i meant to install it on my personal user account. I realised what i did and uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall it on my personal user account - but the computer only seems to recognise it on the primary user account (both are adminstrator level accounts, but the 'apps' only show up when i log on with the account i created first (even though i re-installed it on the secondary log on).

I'm really not sure if this is a Win8 problem, all i really know is that if i log on with what I intended to be my work user logon - the Office apps show up, albeit with my personal email account, etc. If i log on to my personal user account, which is where i wanted to run the trial, none of the Office apps show up and I can only use Office through the browser.

Although I originally mistakenly installed Office 365 in my personal user account, i downloaded the 'fix it' app and beleived that i had uninstalled it from 'User 1' and then reinstalled it under 'User 2' but the computer isnt behaving that way... In any event i'm really not sure why i couldn't use the same 365 install given it's the same computer (i.e. why don't the Office apps s... Read more

I?ll come right out and admit I am 79 years old which certainly has an effect on the trouble I am having seeing the display on my new computer. I recently purchased an Asus computer with the Intel i5 processor running the 64 bit Windows 7. I kept my Dell 20 inch Ultrasharp digital flat panel. I use Corel Draw X4, WordPerfect X5, IE 8, Power Desk 8 Pro, Photoshop 7, and Quicken 2010. On all of these applications (including this page), the toolbars are very narrow with small icons. And the text on most drop down menus is very tiny and faint.

I have set the text size to 150%, but it has no effect on the toolbars. I have adjusted everything that can be adjusted in the Windows Color and Appearance settings. I have tried decreasing the monitor resolution, but that means some panes are so large the radio buttons are off the screen and can?t be used.

I don?t understand why I didn?t have trouble with the screen display on the same monitor I was using with XP. It would make my life so much easier if someone can help.

A:Old person needs help with display

I understand your problem because my eyesight is very weak too. If you have exhausted all the Windows settings, you may have a driver problem. Have a look at the Dell site whether they have a specific /7 driver for your monitor.

Windows 7 Enterprise, System Center 2010 image with Symantec Enterprise Protection and Office 2010. Computer is an Optiplex 780 with 8GB RAM and a small PCI video card. Once added to Domain I am able to login as Admin and run all updates and install all required/requested software. When user tries to login they get a SMART Card error and the system will not allow them to login. However, if I reboot the machine the user can login and I cannot until the machine is again rebooted. This does not happen very often, but so far there is no fixes except re-image the machine again where it goes away.

Note: Same issue has happened on newer machines and older machines which tells me it could be the OS software or the System Center image that is creating it.

Any thoughts?

Dear All,
Having tried to find a message that could help me solve my problem, it seems that I am not alone in having no sound on my PC! Anyway, my problem started when my modem went faulty. Thinking that it may be something to do with the driver files I re-installed them. I re-installed a bit too much and the soundcard setup must have been part of what I re-installed. Anyway, since that date I have not been able to get a peep out of the soundcard. The speakers are fine. It must be something in the setup - but can I find out what!! I know that there have been quite a few audio problems on this site but none of the suggestions on those pages helped me. I have also tried the Windows help file, alas to no avail. If anybody can help me I would be so grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm a Newbie.
I started getting this mesage after signing into my Yahoo email, this message would come up and I would click OK then it would crash.

Here's the background I had recently downloaded the free Microsoft Word 2010 Student Edition free trial and was using it. I decided to uninstall before the free trial was up. I went to control panel, add/remove prog. found Microsoft and clicked remove.

While it was being removed, I canceled the removal, I did not want to wait it was getting late. I shut down the computer.

The next day turned on my computer and signed into Yahoo mail this message came up. It only comes up when I sign into Yahoo mail and I can not open Microsoft Word or open a document with Microsoft Word.

I can not even uninstall it by control panel or any other way. I also contacted Microsoft but they wanted to charge me to help with a free trial offer. Here's the message that happens when I sign into Yahoo mail:

The application or DLL: \programfiles\InternetExployer\dbghelp.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation disckette.

Note; My Yahoo email is the email address I used to get the free trial from Microsoft Word.

I'm not sure that these two problems go together but this is the issue.
Any Suggestions.

if I get a download, wanted or unwanted, it won't execute unless I click on it, right?
and even if a document has hidden code in it, still, Adobe PDF reader and MS office apps will normally ask before executing the code.

so if you keep your browser and your apps nice and updated, you try to stay away from java and flash, and you check out your downloads before executing them, what is there to go wrong?

probably a very dumb question, but better to ask late than never...

sounds like maybe your file-associations are screwed up. Open up "My Computer" and go to Tools, and Folder Options. Go into the File Types tab and go to HTM and HTML make sure neither one have bogus print commands set in their. If so change it back to Internet Explorer or Firefox...

I have VNC installed on one of my computers and that computer was custom built..

Can the person who built it see what Im doing?
Or does VNC just provide interaction from one PC to another?

Because I feel real uneasy about someone seeing what Im doing.
Not that Im up to no good of course

But if they can see what Im doing.
How the hell do i get that thing of my machnine??

A:Can The Person Who Built My Pc See What Im Doing?!?

Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a graphical desktop sharing system which uses the RFB protocol to remotely control another computer. It transmits the keyboard and mouse events from one computer to another, relaying the graphical screen updates back in the other direction, over a network.VNC is platform-independent — a VNC viewer on any operating system can usually connect to a VNC server on any other operating system. There are clients and servers for almost all GUI operating systems and for Java. Multiple clients may connect to a VNC server at the same time. Popular uses for this technology include remote technical support and accessing files on one's work computer from one's home computer. The above quote taken from: hereSo the answer to your question, "Can the person who built it see what Im doing?" depends on what purpose they installed the VNC software. It also depends on what settings they used. They may or may not have access. As far as how to remove it, it depends on what specific VNC application you have and if it shows up in 'add/remove' programs in control panel.

Hi i have not slept in 28 hours due to my laptop not connecting to the internet. It is a gateway T-1631. My router is a D-Link DI-614+. I can get onto the internet with my laptop for a little while until it stops and says i have limited connectivity. I need a pro to help me. I have tried absolutly everything people have told me to do. Please help me.

A:Need an experienced person who is willing to help me get through this already

read about maybe checking with your IP
and hear, it seems to be solved

Unfortunately the experts aren't always online, so I use a lot of googling and learn, but before I change anything, I always make a restore point.
And I read over and over again here on TSG under the Networking segment.
