Preferred Solution: Error message in Microsoft Access Program

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi,

I've spent hours trying to install the Microsoft Home Use Program on my personal notebook PC at home with no success. My workplace enables me to purchase a licensed copy at a cheaper rate to put on my home computer, whilst I remain employed by them.

I click on the link to http://hup.microsoft.com/.
Select the country "Australia".
Enter my corporate email address.
I enter the program code that work gave me.
I check my work email account and receive the email successfully.
I open the email which says "congratulations, you are eligible to purchase the home use program for $28".
I click on the green "Buy Now" button.

Then, this is where it all goes wrong.... Instead of taking me to the screen that allows me to purchase my license/product key and download the software to my PC, the screen reverts back to the previous one which asks me for my corporate email address and program code! I am going around in circles! There are no error messages.

I have tried turning off the antivirus program and I have tried cleaning and fixing my drives. I have a brand new ASUS notebook PC model PRO50G with stickers on it saying windows vista and intel pentium.

Can anyone please help me to install the home use program??! Thanks:)

This problem just recently started and I have not found any fix or cause for it yet.

I am running office 2003 which includes Access and Outlook.

I have a report created in Access that I used to run then file>send to>mail recipient>rich text. At which point I now get the message "Microsoft access can't send this message". Previously, it would automatically create a new message and attach the .rtf file.

But the problem is not limited to Access. I also have Nikon View which is a program for working with photos from my digital camera. Previously, I could highlight a photo, then right click and choose "email". I could then select a few options for the picture and then choose send. It used to then launch a new message with the file attached, just like Access would. Now, I get "One or more unspecified errors occurred. No message was sent".

I found this. It is very similar, but it applies to a security update for access/outlook 97.

I am sure there is some simple variable or something I can change, but I am pretty sure I did not change anything intentionally.

Any ideas?

I had installed a program on my computer XP and when I tried to delete it some of the files would not delete - message said access denied, were they write protected etc.

Is there a way to delete such files. I am a beginner and am angry that the downloaded software included this aspect. Is that common?

I need help.

Thanks.

A:How to Deal with Access Denied Message When Deleting Program

You shouldn't delete an installed program.
You should use Add/Remove, in the Control Panel.

If you deleted it, try reinstalling the program, then use Add/Remove to remove it.

If these are left over files, from an Add/Remove, try deleting them in Safe mode.

Once we installed MS Office 2000 w/sp 3 or MS Office 2003 we now are getting some irritating messages when sending messsages outside of Outlook. We are running both O/S of XP and 2000.

"A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

While I understand why MS put this CYA message in their product it isn't very efficient when sending multiple emails at once from within another application. I was wondering if there is anyway to tweak this feature or opt not to install it?

Thanks for any ideas you have.

Hi,

I tried googling on this but either I wrote it down wrong or there is no such error message. After one of my system freezeups, when I logged back on, I got a message that said: "Your system has recovered from a serious error" and gave what looks like an error message from Microsoft (?):

BCCode:a
BCP1:FFFFFF94
BCP2:00000002
BCP3:00000000
BCP4:804FD1AE

Is there a glossary somewhere or a tutorial on these? Are they really from Microsoft?

Also, when I try to use Task Manager, my system freezes, a small green square appears in my System Tray, and when I try ctl-alt-del again or try to shut down, I just get another green square and I have to shut off the power at the power strip. I was kind of hoping all this was over.

Thx,

Do this:
go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

If you have anything disabled by MSConfig or any other startup manager, please re-enable it before scanning to post.

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this.....

I keep trying to open a document in Microsoft word and it says "There is not enough memory or disk space to complete the operation". I've deleted a bunch of photos and old files that I no longer use, restarted, and it's still happening.

I also have 13 little icons on the bottom right of my task bar on Windows....is that normal?? I don't even know what half of them are and why they are there! They are java update available; updates are ready for your computer (which i'm scared to click on because of my last experience clicking on something like that); HP digital imaging monitor??; bluetooth; ati; local area connection (has an 'x' through it); superantispyware; avg; realtek hd audio manager; epower management; volume; and symaptics pointing device.

Any help would be great...I have a lot of work to do and I can't do it if these files won't open!

Help with Error Message.
When I startup my laptop. I get a window, windows installer. It tries to install Document Viewer for some reason. Then I hit cancel repeatedly because it keeps popping up. Eventually I get this error message from Microsoft .NET Framework.

An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

With to two options, Details or continue. I click continue repeatedly however the error message still won't go away. The only way i can rid of this is to open up Windows task manager and end task. Please, help. Thanks When I click details it shows:

Product : Microsoft Word
Version : 2003 SP3 with all updates
-----------------------------------------

I have been using MS Word for 5 years without any problems. It has now developed an issue which I would like to resolve. When I start Word, it initiates and then displays a message "Microsoft Word has not been installed for the current user". It then terminates. If I start Word again, it starts normally and works normally.

However, this message is a concern because I don't know if something more serious is about to happen. It would be catestrophic if I could not access Word as all my documents are written in the Word format.

Anyone seen this before?

There is a general troubleshooting link here Gill, but I think the problem is best handled in the "Business Applications" forum, so I'm going to transfer you there.

When I open an Excel  file on my desktop I get the message that says "unable to read this command" or something like that. I have excel spreadsheets up on my desktop, and when I double click on one of the icons I normally get this message. It is frustrating because I am forced go to File, Open, and click on the title of the icon that I want to open. I have copied these spreadsheets from my PC which has Microsoft Office 2003, but since I have copied only the data I would not think that would make any difference. Please help. Thank you.Jan1962

I haven't used my computer in over a week. I do not use it for anything other than amazon, eBay, and Netflix. I just literally opened my laptop and before I could even log into my computer a loud voice came on from my computer saying "Warning alert, your computer has alerted Microsoft that it is contaminated and is sending your personal information. Like bank account, fb account, passwords and such to hackers and such. Then it has a number to call which when you call it it immediately hangs up on you. I have turned my computer on and off and still the same thing. I cannot exit out of it. Please help

Hello, I need help My Microsoft works came pre-installed with my Toshiba L505D laptop w/windows 7, and now when I try using it I get,
Microsoft works cannot access one or more files it needs to run. The files may have been renamed, deleted, or moved. Try reinstalling Microsoft Works and then starting again.
Well I have all the backup & recovery, applications & drivers, toshiba recovery dvds 1,2,&3, and Windows Recovery Enviorment (64-bit) discs that I created when my laptop was brand new. So do you know if somewhere on one of these discs has works to re-install, and if so which one do I use? Thank you for your time!!

A:Microsoft Works error message

Try going to Control Panel>Programs and Features locate Microsoft Works right click on it and see if you can select "Change" this may allow you to repair installation of Microsoft Works.

If not load each disk and search for a Microsoft Works install.exe file
if you find one uninstall Microsoft Works by the methods above, reboot then reinstall Microsoft Works.
