Q: Bluetooth: Pair P50 Win10 + Sony h.ear bluetooth wireless headset, MDR-EX750BT

I've done everything but stand on my head and I cannot get the P50 and the Sony to see each other to pair. I use the headset everday at the gym with an iPod Nano with no problem. With the P50 I've tried "add a bluetooth device' and 'show bluetooth devices'. In neither instance does the Sony appear. Suggestion? Mark

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I have got a bluetoth headset that will pair to my laptop lenovo g500 but will not connect. It seems that it is missing a "passkey" [as evident on screenshots enclosed], but i have not been asked for an option to insert it. All my bluetooth drivers are up to date. It was previously working for an extended period of time and then stoppped, it could be it happened after updating from windows 8 to 8.1. But interestingly enough, this happened on a similar device which i returned to manufacturer [i didn't update my system then...] thinking it was faulty. Has anyone got any constructive advice - please look at the enclosed pictures before replying. Thanks!

Hello, I have a dual boot Win 10 Pro/Win 10 Pro system. However, everytime I switch OS, I have to re-pair my Bluetooth mouse with that OS again. I have tried many methods online specifically for Win 7,8 /Linux dual boot, however it doesn't work with Windows 10.

Does anyone know any trick to make both OS recognize my Bluetooth mouse without re-pairing every single time? My bluetooth card is internal (Intel Wireless AC-3165 with BT).

System Information: Asus Notebook UX303L, Windows 10, Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition

Okay, I've been working on this for awhile and have tried a million things. I'm going back to square one so pretend I haven't tried anything yet.

Here is the problem.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 (from windows 8.1) on a 2 month old laptop. On previous version there were NO problems with bluetooth. The problems started immediately after upgrade.

When the upgrade finished Windows 10 remembered all of my previous Bluetooth pairs. My bluetooth mouse (Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition) worked before the installation but after my system reboot the cursor no longer showed movement. The batteries are new. The mouse is acting exactly like it does when it is properly connected (lights flash, makes scrolling sounds, etc). When I checked the Bluetooth device screen it still showed as paired. I rebooted. No change. So I unpaired the device. When I unpaired the device it flashed for a second as a possible device to pair with and then was no longer on the list. Other possible devices to pair with appear and disappear from the list without cause. (Ex. sees a scanner for a few seconds then no longer has a scanner. Sometimes its up for a few minutes at most but the list is constantly flickering.) So I rebooted. Then it did not see the mouse at all. I did this for several days. Sometimes when I would turn on my laptop it would flicker, sometimes it would not. After about 3 days with no ... Read more

Probably Windows 10 replaced the original Bluetooth driver with Microsoft driver which doesn't work well, if at all. Go to manufacturer's site and download the Bluetooth driver. If there is no Windows 10 driver, use that of 8.1 This should fix your connectivity problems.

I'm not able to pair my new iSport monster bluetooth wireless headphones with my HP EliteBook. The laptop cannot "see" the iSport bluetooth device. Called monster (headphones manufacturer) and they said this is beyond their support scope and to contact the laptop manufacturer. They also said that  the wireless headphone uses APTX technology and the Laptop drivers must support this technology. I'm not really sure if that's accurate hence posting the questions here.  HP - any idea how to fix this?

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on a plain vanilla Dell Desktop. I bought a pair of Jabra Move Wireless headphones to use at my desk.

When I try to "Add a device", Windows can see the headphones, but not pair with them. When trying to pair, I get an error message that:

"Adding this device to the computer failed because of an authentication error. This might be due to an incorrect pairing code. Try adding the correct pairing code for the device. You
might need to refer to your devices documentation for details."

The pairing code is 0000, but Windows 7 seems to have no method of inputting the code.

Microsoft Answer Desk is completely useless, except for offering me one year of "advanced technical support" for $149.
Jabra has been equally useless.
I've found dozens of reports on the net of this exact same problem with various Bluetooth devices and Windows 7, but no answers as to how to resolve
it. All of my drivers seem to be up to date, as is Windows.

A:Jabra Move Wireless Headphones wont pair in bluetooth

And the problem has been solved.
After all of my frustration with the Japanese support office for Jabra, it was the American support staff that solved the problem in one email, by telling me how to reset the headphones to factory settings, something that is not mentioned in any of the accompanying
literature or on the website, anywhere that I could find. After that, the pairing went off perfectly.

It was a very simple procedure, and I'm baffled as to why the Japanese support staff, although they spoke excellent English, was unable to even understand my problem, let alone offer a solution.
Anyway, the headphones are working now. Thanks for all the advice.

I know this question has been asked across different forums throughout the net. However, after I've almost tried everything now to solve this issue, I'm finally addressing the Lenovo community hoping to resolve this issue. Issue: Bose bluetooth headset QC35 gets successfully connected to my Lenovo T530 but doesn't show up as an audio device under Win10 Pro. In first stage, the connection seemed to be "fine" as the device name of the headset (configured through the Bose app) appeared under Win10 device manager. Already tried: 1. 3 different bluetooth USB dongles2. Inbuilt Broadcomm bluetooth device3. All imageanable settings within Windows4. Different driver sets5. Bose hotline (very unsatisfying support)6. Bose shop (as well very unsatisfying and useless answers)7. Windows support (very, very unsatisfying support)8. Completely deleting the headset from Windows (including driver)9. Resetting the headset Overall, the outcome is that I still can't use the QC35 as a bluetooth headset with my T530. Trying with different other notebooks and Apple devices worked fine. Looking forward to receiving your much appreciated thoughts and possible ideas on how to solve this problem.

I am having difficulty to get my laptop paired with a Bluetooth enabled cell phone. If I attempt to connect from the cell phone to my pc, a key code is asked for and needs be entered.

My question is how I can get this key code which needs be entered on the Bluetooth Device. On the laptop I navigated from Control Panel and to Bluetooth Devices, then clicked Add Wireless Device, but no device is detected even though the Bluetooth on the cell phone was turned on. Device Manager indicates drivers for the Bluetooth device are installed correctly.

Before the Bluetooth stack, when I used my default bluetooth driver for connection, these controls had worked fine.

Also, there does not seem to be a specific setting to fix this in the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack Options.

Hi gang.

I use Skype and Dragon NaturallySpeaking quite a bit and I would like to get rid of the headset cord.

Looking for recommendations for wireless or Bluetooth headsets that are *KNOWN* to work really well with either or both of those programs.

Also, what's the range for a Bluetooth headset? I'd like about 20 m straight line if possible.

Thanx.

A:Bluetooth or wireless headset with microphone

There is no real Bluetooth solution for NaturallySpeaking. The only mic that comes close is the VXI B-150 but it’s prone to pairing issues, quite expensive and is not incredibly accurate. The best wireless performers weren’t actually designed for VR. They include the Plantronics CS50-USB, CS-55, Revolabs xTag and the Samson Airline 77 in order from least to most accurate.

Nope, Wi-Fi is only used in wireless networking hardware. You cannot use Wi-Fi as you would use bluetooth. Try looking for a RF headset, that would be your best bet.

Hey all!

Sorry if the title seemed angry - More frustrated than anything.
Firstly to get the DS4 to work I have used ds4tool, ds4Windows and others to try get this working!

So i updated to windows 10 - Mistake i know, Didnt know about the 3 week uninstall period. So i cant roll back now
I installed ds4tool and ds4windows - The drivers required to map DS4 to XInput as a 360 Controller.. Paired up my DS4 via dongle - Played with ds4tool for months via Bluetooth. Worked fine
Only issue is if i plugged the controller in to charge whilst it was BT connected or Otherwise [straight usb] it would be detected as both a Xbox 360 controller and a Wireless Controller.

So whenever i play a game. Lets say fallout 4 -- "B" is pipboy. On wireless controller its Jump [ Cant be remapped btw ive tried xpadder. ] So when i press B [Or Circle] It will jump my char and bring up Pipboy at the same time. If i press "right" on the D pad - 360 map is the 3rd action wheel setting. Wireless controller mapping is Pause. So pressing right on the D pad to select my weapon ALSO pauses the game. SO in otherwords its unplayable.

as long as im Only connected via BT it works a charm

NEW ISSUE! turned on ds4windows today. Turned on my controller. Didnt connect?, Just flashing like its searching. Even though my BT dongle is on and Ds4Windows running.

My daughter (who lives in London) recently purchased Sony SRS-BTM30 Bluetooth Wireless Speakers so that she could listen to MP3 music stored on her Sony Vaio N11H laptop (with Windows XP Home pre-installed). The problem is that all music/sound from the speakers is totally unrecognisable because it is 'stuttering' or 'hacking' so much (sorry I can't explain it in better terms...). A friend informed her that the problem is probably being caused by her BT Broadband Router/LAN connection. Can any member advise whether this might be what's causing the 'stuttering' sound? If not then can anyone please advise as to what might be the cause of the problem. I thought it might be the Belkin bluetooth adapter being slightly out of range, but my daughter informed me that she has tried using the speakers within a range of a few inches up to ~10m and it still makes no difference.... PLEASE HELP

P.S. My daughter also connects to the internet using an 802.11b/g wireless connection.

1GB Memory
160GB Hard Drive
5.1 On-board Sound
Sony DVD Burner
802.11b/g
Belkin F8T012uk Bluetooth USB+EDR Adapter Class 1 V2

The Sony SRS-BTM30 Bluetooth Wireless Speakers spec is as follows:

Bluetooth Class 2 (2.5mW) Output

Hi,

can you please let us know which keyboard are you using? Check in the keyboard settings, if it has the option which you can tick, like "make the hardware discoverable".

Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Bluetooth Devices.
Select the device that's not working, and then click Remove.
Click Add, press the reset button on the device (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), select the My device is set up and ready to be found check box, and then click Next.
If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

The one that cured the problem was the Video driver, which also installed an audio driver and fixed the Bluetooth problem. I started with the Bluetooth first, since it was a Bluetooth problem. Hi: The reason you cannot connect to the bluetooth speakers is due to the fact that your notebook does not come with built in bluetooth networking. Below is the link to the product specifications for your notebook. http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04936074 If it came with bluetooth, that would have been listed along with the 802.11b/g/n (1x1) wireless connectivity specification.

Hi

I have an Ankovo bluetooth headset that I am trying to connect to a Lenovo Thinkpad running a Win7-64 bit OS.
I was able to pair them with the machine as a bluetooth device by doing the following -
1. 1st attempt at pairing the device failed. The device showed up with an exclamation mark in the bluetooth devices window. This seemed to be because windows did not find a driver for this device.
2. I installed the latest BT driver from lenovo's website.
3. This seemed to work so far as recognizing the device driver software was concerned, but the headphones still don't show up in the list of playback devices.

I've read several forums and tried doing several things; most point to the following solution, in that order.

1. Unistall microsoft's native USB drivers (Generic Bluetooth Adapter) from Device Manager.
2. Installing Lenovo's bluetooth drivers.
3. Pair my earphones.

However, each time I try to uninstall Microsoft's driver and install the new one, I get an error which says the installation detects an unauthorized driver and aborts.
Refreshing the Device Manger ("Scan for hardware changes") seems to bring Microsoft's drivers right back.

Does anyone know how I can proceed?

Have to either remove and then add again, or, on bluetooth settings, remove and wait for it to say "ready to pair", and then re-pair it. All a bit of a pain.

In addition to the above, we have downloaded the latest software from Intel, we have also tried uninstalling the devices from the device manager. MS says we have the latest software!!

I can see many Bluetooth issues on Windows 10, plus I guess the driver software is quite old, and maybe Bluetooth 3 is uncomfortable with win 10.

Is worth getting a Bluetooth dongle using version 4? Would it be guaranteed to work?

So what's the best answer here to avoid the hassle?

I just reinstalled windows 8 on my laptop. I cant get the trackpad to scroll or pair a bluetooth device. My computer is not seeing any bluetooth devices. I am thinking it may be a driver thing. My laptop is a acer v3-771g-9809. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I never had to download drivers or installed them before.

Start with Acer to find your new drivers. I'm assuming you did all your updating and now have 8.1.

I got a new Thinkpad Bluetooth Mouse with my Thinkpad Yoga 370 and although I love the machine, the bluetooth isn't that great. I have to pair the mouse to use it everyday.  After an hour or two of inactivity the mouse disconnects and I have to re-pair it.   Anyone have a solution for this?  Is this just Windows 10 behavior or something I'm missing in a setting on the machine?

I spent many hours trying to figure out how to connect my two Windows 7 64-bit PCs to my Bluetooth stereo audio device (the Motorola S705) and so I thought I'd post my solution in case it helps anyone else.

SYMPTOMS:
A Bluetooth-capable Windows 7 PC can pair, but can?t connect, to a stereo audio device (like the Motorola S705 SoundPilot) via Bluetooth. The PC and the audio device may pair, but then Windows 7 provides the following error messages: ?Device driver software was not successfully installed. Bluetooth Peripheral Device. No driver found.?

It may be worth noting that I had no problem connecting my Bluetooth audio device to my cell phone or Windows XP PC. And the Windows 7 PC was able to connect to other Bluetooth devices, such as mice or keyboards.

CAUSE:
Even though the Windows 7 PC may have a working Bluetooth driver that connects to some Bluetooth devices (like mice or keyboards), the Windows 7 PC does not have the necessary A2DP & AVRCP (audio-capable) Bluetooth software & drivers installed. This software deficiency may occur, especially if the PC has been upgraded from an earlier version of Windows or the PC maker has simply not provided the latest driver update.

SOLUTION:
If the PC has an add-on Bluetooth adapter/dongle, download & install the latest driver directly from the Bluetooth dongle maker?s website, if possible.

If the PC has Bluetooth built-in, download & install the latest Bluetooth driver directly from the PC manufacturer,... Read more

A:How to pair/connect Bluetooth audio device to Windows 7 PC.

I installed the dongle and tried to add my Samsug M390 phone. The pairing timed out as I was entering the passkey on my phone. My phone recognized the Acer Aspire One netbook computer but the computer does not recognize the phone. Successive tries have not successfully paired the devices. How do I add the phone to my computer's recognized devices now?
