Q: recovery deleted photo (without SD card)

hello everybody! my father had deleted the photo on his phone... I am triyng to recover them, but i cannot connect the phone as phisycal drive.. it appears as network drive.. how can i do? i have windows 7 ultimate..thanks to all.

Preferred Solution: recovery deleted photo (without SD card)

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A: recovery deleted photo (without SD card)

When you connect the phone to your computer it should be seen as a physical drive. You should see two drives. One is the SD card and the other is the internal memory of the phone.
For this to work, make sure you have Z10 the drivers installed. By installing the Link sofware the drivers are automatically installed when the Z10 is connected.
As for SD cards, when data is erased, it is not like with DOS and some operating systems where only the header ID flag in the directory table is changed, and the data is intact until some other data writes over it. The deleted flag tells the OS that the space
is available and the space can be overwritten with new data.
In Windows when a file is normally deleted it is flagged to be part of the Waste Bin folder which is designed as a system folder. The file is not really deleted while in the Waste Bin Folder. It is in a sense re-alocated. When you tell the waste bin utility
to delete the file, then it overwrites it entirely with the equivalent of 0's. This makes the file securely deleted.
With SD cards the system is different. There is no waste area for the files. There is no easy access to re-set the delete flag. If you did more writing to the card, the flagged data can be easily over written. There are some utility programs out there that
claim to be able to undelete files on the SD card. You will need a Windows computer and a card reader to do this. I found some software that are supposed to be able to do this. I never used them, or know if they will charge a fee to use it once it claims it
can undelete the file.
Recovery Toolbox for Flash is solution for you

I'm using a windows system I honestly am not sure which.

While uploading a set of photos I was rushed and cancelled it because I had to get going with the memory card. I decided to make room by seeing which photos uploaded and delete the rest but it appeared like they all had.

I see now that the photos for whatever reason appeared to upload from the beginning and end towards the middle (ridiculous). And now I am missing a big chunk of photos in the middle.

To clarify the photos were deleted from the memory card when it was plugged into the computer. Is there anywhere in the computer they may have gone? I have since filled the memory card up with new photos before noticing.

These photos are REALLY important

Is there a way to recover lost or accidently deleted photos on a computer? How do you do it and what program do you use?

A:Lost/Deleted Photo Recovery

Firstly, do not write to the computer. The more you write data to it the less chance you have to recover the data. The best way is to attach the drive to another computer and use PhotoRec to recover the data to another hard drive. You can download the Windows version and unzip to the desktop. Then run PhotoRec. The files will have generic names but the extensions will be correct. You would need to rename any files. If you only want to recover Photos, you can mark only image files befor doing the scan.I would use version 6.14
Another software you could use is Recuva. It's free also. Just press the download button. The Buy Now button is for the Pro Version.
If you do not have the option to attach the drive to another computer, you would have to create a bootable USB key of PhotoRec using a linux distro.

I have by mistake deleted pictures that I want recovered to my camera via sandisk. I've called sandisk and they referred me to a third party software ($40) to recover. They also say I need to buy a USB card Reader ($15). The photos are inportant but not that important. I downloaded a free recovery program but I'm having problem. The camera is not linked to a driver. I was hoping it was Drive (F). Is there anyway that I can somehow get the camera to go to a drive. I need this to be able to complete the recovery. Please help. In my computer it only shows scanners and cameras which shows me my webcam. Should I disconnect my webcam and see what the digital camera will show. You help is greatly appreciated.

A:Solved: Photo have been deleted from memory card

Try these

CGSecurity's PhotoRec

Piriform's Recuva

PCInspector's SmartRecovery

It is important that you do NOT use the memory card in the meantime, or else you risk overwriting the files thus making recovery very much more difficult to impossible.

Using a Card Reader is a good idea,I suggest you go out and buy one.

I need a current answer to my question, I have a Nikon D610, I accidently deleted a file of photo's from an SD Card. My photo's are taken in RAW. I used Stellar Phoenix data recovery but it did not recover my photo's, I paid for the software and tried to work with their tech support, but they said that their software did everything it could to recover my photo's and they were not recoverable. I see files that were recovered but I cannot open them, I get the error message that the file format is not a supported format. NEF and JPEG. Is there anything else I can do? I tried to look this up but most of the replies are from over a year ago. I have Windows 7 and use ViewNX 2,

Hey guys n gals.

I accidentally delted a few .mp4 files from my GoPro's SD card from my first scuba diving trip. No good I did it through Windows, but they are not in the Recycle Bin. When prompted to delete, it said "are you sure you want to permanently delete these items?" Unfortunately, I had a few good files selected as well.

I've tried the free EaseUS data recovery software, and while it has found the files and "recovered" them, Windows Media player gives me an error message when I try to play it back.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!!

Dear Friends.
Hope this finds you well!
I'm not certain this is in the best forum, but it is a Windows 7 computer
I was trying to do another sets of DVD's from existing MP4 files from a SanDisk Ultra 32GB card. These would then be used with DVD Flick and ImgBurn to make the DVD's. The first(2) DVD's worked well but somehow a few of the files were not copied entirely. So, I was redoing these again to make certain I had ALL the files for the next (2) DVD's.
These are files my older brother entrusted to me for me to convert them to a DVD format. They are files of his daughters nearly entire basketball season [frames] of about 70 files and were sentimental to him and his daughter.
I feel personally responsible to correct this if it is at all possible!? It could get ugly
It was an honest error on my part as I mistakenly deleted what was titled Video 100 on the SanDisk which contained all these MP4 files. I didn't realize I was removing them from the SanDisk. I'm hoping there is a free date recovery app I could use for this one application so that an expensive license would not be required!?

Hi everyone,

I'm stuck in a pretty bad situation right now and I have no idea about how to help myself..So recently I've been wanting to 'reset' my Windows 8.1 laptop, & I just cannot because my recovery environment is missing..
First when I got this problem I thought there would be an easy-intermediate level fix like every other problem. (and I love fixing stuff.)

But this one doesn't look like an easy fix or I'm not even sure If there is a fix. So the big mistake I did was, I deleted my "System Recovery Partition".

I have searched everywhere possible and I'm not getting a fix.. I would really appreciate IF YOU GUYS HELP ME!
and another problem is that I don't live in the USA or Canada.I've got a Dell Inspiron 15R 5521, 8GB RAM, intel i5 3317u.

and Dell provides Backup Media to only the people who live in the US and Canada. Please guys, I need a solution.

I have a separate Windows 8.1 Installation Disk, but what I'm scared about is If I install my Windows from the disk, my Dell features would be gone and I don't think I'd be able to have a proper Recovery Environment in the future because this Disk's installation files are nothing related to Dell. Its just a clean Windows installation disk I got from my friend a while ago. I've tried the repair my computer option from the disk and it does not help...

Thank you

Hi folks - I've just had a frustrating moment trying to make a Recovery Media set on my new T450.  I followed the prompts using Lenovo's "Factory Recovery Discs" program.  When prompted, I inserted a USB drive, expecting the program to tell me at some point what capacity was needed, but it never did.  So after only one or two quick optionless prompts, it began creating the media on the USB.  Quickly it stopped, and gave a message saying that the capacity of the drive was insufficient (while still not saying what size was necessary), and gave me only one option:  Delete Recovery Partition and restore drive to normal functionality - or something very close to that wording.  So I clicked OK, assuming it was referring to the USB drive - because why would a user want to delete the factory Recovery Partition at this point?  But that's exactly what it did.So now I have no Recovery Partition (formerly the Q: drive), and I can't tell if that space is still allocated (but unavailable to me), but I suspect that's the case.  I've attached below, a screenshot of what I see in Drive Management now.I'm frustrated that with one click on a poorly-worded message, in the process of creating Recovery Media, I was given the option (and only the option), to delete the Recovery Partition itself!  Mind-smoking. Any options for restoring that data, short of sending my new PC back to Newegg or Lenovo?  I suspect it's only logically deleted, (if I ... hi izadfard
Welcome to the Forums.
If you didn't create a recovery drive (using this method) then I recommend you contact lenovo on how to obtain a copy of the recovery disc which restores the preloaded Win8 OS, drivers, and apps.
Alternatively, if the machine came preloaded Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, you can try the following:
For Windows 8:
1. Obtain a Windows 8 installation disc and use it to reinstall Windows (if the system is preloaded with Windows 8, the installation will automatically detect the Win8 product key in the UEFI Firmware / BIOS and will automatically activate Windows).
2. From here, you can obtain the drivers from the G510 drivers page and/or upgrade to Windows 8.1 via the Windows Store (see this guide)
For Windows 8.1:
1. Check this guide on how to obtain a Windows 8.1 ISO (see Option One)
2. When finished, follow this guide to make a bootable UEFI Win8.1 installer via DVD or USB flashdrive and use it to install Windows (the installation should be able to detect the Windows 8.1 product key in the UEFI firmware that will let you activate Windows).
3. If successful, obtain the drivers from the G510 drivers page

You can try Recuva, a free file recovery tool. The likelyhood that the file(s) are recoverable depends on how long ago they were deleted and how much disk activity (i.e. making new files, deleting other files, making changes to files, etc.) has gone on since then.

A:Recovery Of File (photo)

So far as I know, unless the file was either:

a)backed up
b)stored on a Server running Windows Server 2003
c)duplicated earlier for some reason

then you're likely out of luck (I may be wrong - wait for others to reply as they may know a way)

With regard to c), think about where there may be another copy of the image. Did you upload it to a wbsite, or e-mail it to a friend? Also, Photopro may have cached the image when you opened it; run a search in C:\Documents and Settings for all image files. You may get lucky and find it there (be sure to enable searching hidden and system folders first, though)

I have tried several data recovery programs to try and retrieve some important photo's. Some I've had more the success than others. It was clear that the ones which you pay for is better than the free versions [find more files] On the ones that let you see a list of what it's found but does not let you retrieve the photo's unless you pay for the full programme

On a couple of programs they showed the 'missing' files and file names and I'm wanting to buy. My point is - has anyone tried a full program and are they as good as the claim. I would be grateful for help and guidance in picking a good program which will do the job

Many thanks

I recently got Dirty Decrypt on a PC, I have since removed the virus following several guides online, some of which from Bleeping Computer. The computer is free from infection but the files remained encrypted, the files are mainly pictures that display a message to load dirty decrypter to have the files unencrypted. Is there anyway to get these files unencrypted?
I have tried several tools to get the files back but with no success. I was advised to have Dr. Web unlock the files but they have since closed it to customers only, I am willing to become a Dr. Web customer but do not want to if they cannot decrypt the files.
Thank you,

A:Dirty Decrypt Photo Recovery Solutions

Although it is possible to remove the DirtyDecrypt ransomware, there does not appear to be a tool that decrypts the affected files at this time.
If you have a backup, you can restore your files from it.
Be aware that, if you consider paying the ransom, this action is not recommended. When you provide your credit card, or agree to a method of payment, you are at the mercy of whatever amount the malware creators decide on, with the option of assessing additional fees, etc. Also, paying the ransom does not guarantee you will get your files decrypted!!
