Logitech G15 keyboard driver won't load or kb is bad...?!

Q: Logitech G15 keyboard driver won't load or kb is bad...?!

Just downloaded the latest G15 driver from Logitech. Installed. The keyboard lights up, the LCD shows CPU usage and Mem usage, my mouse runs from the USB port... but the only keys that will type are the q, a, z keys. I've tried uninstalling from DM and then reinstalling. I brought this thing out of mothballs because my HP keyboard quit on me. (This just isn't my week...!) Before installing this keyboard I had a problem with my HP keyboard... thought it was a virus (mute on/off displayed on screen) so I ran a plethora of rescue applications trying to fix it. I've uninstalled most of them. But this problem just doesn't make any sense to me...?! Can I get some help?

Custom build:
Gig GA-MA785GM-US2H (Award BIOS F7)
AMD Athlon II X2 245 (Regor)
4 Gig G. Skill 800MHz (2 x 2G in banks 2,3)
AMD Radeon 5570 (1GB) Redwood
HID keyboard device, HID compliant mouse (mx518)
WD 640G Caviar Black
Win 7 Pro, 64 bit

Preferred Solution: Logitech G15 keyboard driver won't load or kb is bad...?!

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A: Logitech G15 keyboard driver won't load or kb is bad...?!

Does the qwetrty section work without any drivers installed for the extra G15 features?

Basically does it work with the stand HID windows drivers? If so it's obviously something to do with the app software.
Have you completely cleared all the HP KB software?

This came up back in May, I think, but I am having the same trouble now. The trouble appears to be getting lhidusb.sys recognized and loaded during installation. The error message is:
"Windows - Unable to Load Device Driver
\SystemRoot\system32\drivers\lhidusb.sys device driver could not be loaded. Error Status was 0xc0000034 ".

If I ignore this, the next time I reboot with the USB Mouse/Keyboard (Wireless) plugged in, the system crashes with a blue screen error of:
"Stop:c000026c Unable to load device driver \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\lhidusb.sys device driver could not be loaded "

So that file is needed when the USB Wireless M/K receiver is plugged in. Without it, I get the STOP error.

Any clues from anyone would be appreciated.

I'm looking for a driver for my Logitech Deluxe Access Keyboard.
I need a driver to use all the function keys (sound,...).

I checked on the site of Logitech but I only found a driver for Logitech Deluxe Keyboard. I don't installed it yet because I don't know if it's the good one.

Does someone know where to find a driver for Windows 7 x64 ?

King regards,

A:Driver for Logitech Deluxe Access Keyboard

Try the Deluxe Keyboard driver first.

Do you currently have the latest vista driver installed for your keyboard?
Have you tried using the windows device driver update?

Bought a new Logitech webcam C270 Have installed, uninstalled several times then went online with logitech support and we uninstalled again and then downloaded from their website. In device manager under the tab imaging devices it gives us the error message that Windows can not load my device driver for my Photosmart C6200 or for my Logitech C270 webcam.

We did an uninstall and reinstall and it still says that. The support tech said that is all he could do that I would have to go to Gateway and download my OS driver. Talked to them but they can't help me because it would cost a fortune because my computer is older and not covered under their plan.

A:Windows can not load my device driver for my C270 Logitech webcam

Since both devices show as not being able to load the driver, have you tried uninstalling the Photosmart C6200 software as well?
Could be there is a conflict between the 2 drivers.

If that does not help, it could be a problem with the USB port setup, so updating the motherboard drivers[/URL] is indeed a next step.

My Microsoft USB Dual Receiver wireless keyboard (IntelliTypePro) Devise Manager - Devise Status says " Windows cannot load the device driver for his hardware. I still keep getting a spyware message that says again..I uninstalled the hardware and software/ download the InteliTypePro software again, installed it and I still get the same message... The trouble shooter will not load, nor will system tools, or help files. What should I do to get this working?

A:keyboard cannot load driver

You could try disconnecting from the internet, shutting down avast, then installing the software with device manager instead of just clicking on the executable.

If you really want this virus etc removed, and avast can't remove it, I'd suggest either posting a hijack this log for someone in security forum section or reinstalling the operating system

Hi guys,
I need help..
I've been using winxp sp2 for about 4 years now, I rarely use my desktop pc so after about 2 months since the last use, I started it just now.
The keyboard is not working, I checked the device manager and the property says, the driver fail to load, missing or corrupted.
- Uninstall and install didn't work
- Safe mode didn't work
- replacing keyboard didn't work
the keyboard only work in bios (at least that means it is not broken).

I read somewhere here about similar problem but that one is on laptop and related to bad battery, well mine is desktop. On some other source I checked, it could be related to registry or something, not sure.
I'm a novice user.

anybody can help? If there has been a post somewhere regarding similar problem, kindly point me to the right direction.
appreciate it, thanks! :)

I can't seem to get Windows 7 SP1 to load a driver for an HP printer that is on my home network. My laptop sees it but won't let me make it the default printer or load a driver so that I can link to it wirelessly. I restored my laptop back to windows 7
because Windows 10 was moving too slow. I only have 4gigs of memory, and windows 10 probably runs better with 8gigs of memory.

I'm working with a Dell Dimension C521 PC. It came with a PCI-Express video card which apparently has failed, yet the motherboard itself has on-board video. The system will boot using this video output (as opposed to the card which produced nothing) but when it finally gets to windows the auto-detect driver routine kicks in and begins to detect the video card, prompting the user to "Continue Anyway" to finish installing unsigned drivers. Unfortunately this event takes place in front of the installation of the USB keyboard and mouse (times like these I wish it had PS/2 ). Anyway, whether I boot up into Safe Mode or normal a prompt comes up about installing drivers for the on-board chipset. I can't interact with it because the driver install routine for the keyboard/mouse becomes interrupted.

A:Dell Dimension C521; USB key/mouse driver load interrupted by video card driver load

Bump. I've been thinking... the only way I think this can be fixed is if I boot from a Linux CD or something similar and delete a particular set of drivers for this video card. It can't prompt you to install any drivers if they don't exist, right? But I don't know where to go to delete such files and prevent them from automatically trying to install themselves. Any ideas?

A couple of days ago when I switched my computer on, I found that my logitech keyboard was not working apart from the www, mail and and search buttons which are okay. I have tried connecting it by usb and the ps2 connector both will not work, I looked in device manager and the message was Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).
I have tried unistalling the device but I still have the problem when it reinstalls, I also tried my son's logitech G 15 keyboard but again got the same result.
Does anyone have any ideas.

Have you tried the mouse & keyboard in a different pc?

I have found that Logitech products, although they are very good, are very "finicky" about certain USB ports on certain pc's & this is why I ask you this.

My son has 2 different Logitech products ... they work fine on his pc & my brother-in-laws pc ... these are two different brand pcs ... I have a third brand pc ... Hello everyone

I have recently bought a new Dell computer with wireless logitech mouse and keyboard combo (yes very flashy of me). I am from the UK by the way. The keyboard is laid out correctly for UK Standard..everything in its right place... However when i go to put a @ symbol in a " appears instead....and vice versa. The symbols are the right way round on the keyboard they just seem to link to the wrong symbol. As u can probably guess this is very annoying!
Also no hash symbol appears .....even tho it is there on the keyboard, only silly lines = |\ appears.

Pleaaaase help!

Just wanted to mention I bought one of these because I often work in low light conditions - and the illumination is really very decent.

However, the keys are abysmal, they're not uniform in terms of the pressure needed to depress them, some make tinny rattle-like noises, some are near silent, and the space bar feels and sounds like it's 'cheap as chips' quality.

These KB's aren't cheap either

Should anyone have one on their wishlist - think twice, it's one of the worst keyboards for typing on that I've ever come across.

A:Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

Yeah, at one point I thought about getting one of these.

I'm really interested in getting a good mechanical switch keyboard and I want a wired keyboard. I was out looking at local stores and the Logitech was the only nicer keyboard that wasn't ergo that was wired that they seemed to carry. However, I didn't feel that I liked the key action at all after using it in the store for a few minutes. And I do realize that it's not a mechanical switch keyboard...but like I said...I couldn't find a local store that had any mechanical switch keyboards...so it was this or nothing. Sounds like going with "nothing" was the right choice.

This is most probably a stupid question and very easy to solve too i guess but for the life of me i can't figure out how to turn on the gaming keys.

The only way i can turn them on at the moment is by going into the Keyboard Profiler software that came with it.

Surley these buttons should turn on when the computer boots??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

on boot the keyboard is no detected. hence it didnt let me enter and check BIOS settings. I tried another USN keyboard and it works fine.. i went into bios to check the USB settings.. and everything is fine.

I have tried updating.. disabling/ unistalling the USB.. but nothing works. I turn off my computer- unplugged it for 5min, and turned it back on but it still wasnt detected.

i have tried connecting it to another computer but the keyboard gives the same "Device not recognized " error.

i am running windows 7 RC.. the other computer i tried it on was running windows vista.

non of the lights turn on on the keyboard when i plug it in a usb ( i ahve tried it on multiple.)

is it safe to assume i need a replacement or need it repaired?... any ideas of what could ne wrong if u disagree.

also i have had the keyboard for over 3 month and it has been working perfectly.. until today.

i believe it stopped working after i turned off my computer in the morning.. but it actually didn't turn off and was stuck on one of those "do u want to close this program" stage. so when i came back home i realized it wasn't off. so i canceled the shutdown process but realized keyboard wasn't working.. so i did a restart. and win7 did an update while it was turning off.. keyboard has not worked since this morning.

Freeze up problems for Cordless Logitech Keyboard (German Language) M/N: Y-RA1(RT7R5XTWGR) purchased about 2 yrs ago.
OS: Window 98SE
The system was upgraded with a larger hard-drive about 1 month ago.

The hard-drive is partitioned for 2 users.
Each partition has its own (Logitech) cordless keyboard and mouse. We use a "switch" box for each keyboard. German and the other English.
There are absolutely no problems or hangups with my
keyboard (M/N: Y-RB7) (English) on my side of the partition. Prior to hard-drive upgrade both keyboards and mice worked fine.

The problem is on the other side of the partition.
The keyboard freezes. (Mouse continues to work fine.)
Rebooting only solves the problem for a few minutes before freezing up again and hitting the contact button on the remote transmitting receiver renders the same effect: after a few short minutes the keyboard freezes.
Yes, the remote receiver is at the specified distance from the monitor, CPU, speakers, etc.

The only CD-ROM Software programme provided was exclusively for the Y-RB7 keyboard.

Hopefully I've given you enough information here for you to work with towards a solution.
Thank you.

Thus I bought the wired Wave keyboard to solve my problems but I somehow do not like the feel of the keyboard. I Wave keyboard is much better for gaming ad the big palm rest is definitely a plus but the keys a not spaced so well and the slight curve makes my type the wrong keys constantly. I've only had the Wave keyboard for 3 days making me think I'm maybe not use to the feel yet but at this rate I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable with the Wave keyboard despite high praised reviews.

I'm think of returning the Wave keyboard in replacement for this Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard: Newegg.com - Microsoft J93-00001 Black 104 Normal Keys 21 Function Keys USB Wired Slim Digital Media Keyboard 3000 despite the fact that the Microsoft keyboard does not have a cushion palm rest like my current Logitech wireless and the Wave. This is on one of our Dell Optiplex 780m mini tower machines.

We have several wireless Logitech MK270 keyboard/mouse combos.
For the last couple months, one of our keyboards has been giving problems; it started out with intermittent mild symptoms and has progressively gotten worse.
As best I can tell, the receiver is not a unifying receiver, although some of ours are.

It started out that, after a day or so of idleness, typing on the keyboard would not show up on the screen, or it would skip letters, or maybe it would ignore the first few letters before they would show up.
At first, the cure (at least for that session) was to unplug the little USB receiver and plug it back in, at which point everything would work good as new until after another period of idleness.

It has gotten progressively worse until now, after several various "repairs" and computer restarts, I can maybe name three folders and then it will maybe type the first few letters of the fourth one and then quit responding.

Sometimes, the letters are the only thing that will not respond, while other buttons will still work; sometimes, nothing whatsoever on the keyboard will work.

I downloaded a "re-connection" wizard from Logitech to no avail.
I have uninstalled the keyboard in device manager and restart, after which it may work for five minutes before quitting again.

The batteries test very good; not having any luck at anything else, I tried brand-new batteries anyway; new batteries did no... Read more

I bought a 2nd hand Logitech keyboard (with swedish letters) a lot of the symbol keys are not where they should be,I was unable to find a manual online, when looking at the photos on Logitech`s website and searching for silver and black bluetooth keyboard from Logitech doesn`t really narrow it down.It charges via USB and works with Bluetooth, the bottom part is silver and the keyboard is black,I was unable to find a product number and I think that maybe there`s a part missing like a top cover as there is a "hinge" sticking out.I would really appreciate some help, thanks in advance!

I've edited your post because we don't offer buy/sell services here.

I think they're quite easy to find. Here are two I found in Canada:

Not sure if this is the correct Forum or not ?
If not, please tell me where would be best to post.

Have a new Samsung "Smart TV" and received a gift of a wireless Logitech (touchpad) Keyboard.
Not sure if Samsung uses Windows 7, or something they lashed up themselves ?

There are two dongles included.

A small one, and a slightly larger one.

Their instruction sheet is miserable.

Apparently, there are 3 way to use them:

- put the small one in the USB Port in the TV

- put the small one into the back of the larger one, and now put this combination into the back of the TV's
USB Port

- put the small one into the Keyboard itself, and the larger one into the TV USB Port

Anyone know which is "best," and when to use which ?

And, any way to see incoming eMails directly, without having to log into Comcast each time ?

I recently had to re-install Windows (Win XP Home SP2, autoupdated). I have pretty much got back all my essential applications and data but the special Windows keys are no longer working (I particularly like to use the volume keys). Is it a driver I am missing or some special application? Any idea how i can proceed?

A:Logitech Internet Keyboard, Win keys

Try to re-install the logitech drivers. It should work after that.
