Streaming issues! Help

Q: Streaming issues! Help

Here is the issue.

No matter the website i go to to stream any video, be it youtube or spikedhumour... it takes up to 10 seconds to start streaming, then roughly every 5 seconds it has to rebuffer...

The weird thing is, I typically download from 300kb/s to 1.2mb/s.

So... I tried my own troubleshooting.
First I tried multiple browsers.
Firefox, EI, Flock, and Opera.
All give me the same problem.

So I kept on looking for a solution, and found a program called:
Speedbid video Accelerator. (This is not an AD)

It still starts off slow with the frequent rebuffering. But It does work as the video progresses, Its like it streams a part of the video to itself and the amount that it streamed is put into the video you are streaming... So not really the solution I was looking for... I will keep using it until I figure this out.

I had multiple ads suggest a registry scan. So I bought a copy of some registry scanner at walmart... fixed some errors.... found hundreds... but then again these programs are always trying to make themselves amazing... I figured it wouldnt fix anything, and it didnt...

I am new to this "proxy" thing i stumbled on, what do they do and can it help me?

I am on a college campus, Internet isn't shared from what I can tell.
If i can download up to 1.2megs a second I should be able to stream quite easily.

Azereus Vuze, I have had this program for a while now. But I recently started to stream videos with it. With Vuze I am able to stream ANY video they have without any issues...

So i assume this is a browser based issue.

Can anyone help me out?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Streaming issues! Help

I have tried other approaches...
I have vista, And i Disabled iPv6, and disabled TCP Auto-Tuning.

Neither helped....

Oh and an update, I downloaded at 3.5 megs a second on the ubuntu website...

I am curious if it is just vista in my case so I was going to try Linux OS... but partitions aren't working too well for me.

Anyway... even if you cant help...
Maybe you can post a possible source for my issue.
I will do the work on the research....

So far I have made the prediction that my issue that the internet is run through a campus network(router) and the security needs to be dampened. I am not connected via wireless, I have an Ethernet cord which runs into the wall.... not a modem... unless there is a modem behind the well......... riiiiiiight haha... so I am most likely run through a router.

So far my issue remains exclusive to this forum.

Just got a new pc (win 7 i5 cpu) and all was running fine until recently. For some reason many video's online (sky player, bbc news items even five live radio)all have stopped working and just try to keep buffering. You get a second of play then buffering again.

I have another older pc with the same network connections, anti virus and firewalls that seems to work fine and my broadband speed is fine.

Strangely some video's work fine ie youtube and bbc i-player.

Anyone got any suggestions of what is blocking the players ?

A:Streaming Issues

How long does the buffering last? 10-15 secs is normal. Wait until the video loads completely and then play it. See if that helps. The problem may not be at your end.

Starting sometime last week I've been having MAJOR issues with streaming online. For instance, when trying to watch a youtube video or using Pandora, I get a stuttering effect or echos. My computer is older (6...7 years), and it has slowed down over time. Usually my computer takes a bit longer to load content, but then can stream it ok once it got going.

My question is, how can I diagnose what's wrong? My guess would be that I'm running out of memory or something like that. I've done a virus scan with Malwarebytes and Norton, but nothing came up. Has tecnology simply passed me by and it's finally time for a new computer?

Any help in figuring out what's going on and fixing it would be really appreciated. If it helps, I'm on a Dell with Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3, Pentium 4 2.80 GHz, and 2.00 GB of RAM.

For about a month now, when streaming audio and video online the sound stutters at random points. I have an 8Meg connection so streaming shouldn't be a problem but I have new speakers and sound card so potentially isn't a hardware issue?

Many thanks

A:Streaming issues

it would depend on how good quality that 8M connection is
try this website http://www.pingtest.net/ to test the quality

Also are you using wireless - as that may be the issue , if so post an xirrus screen shot

{run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector} Download and install
If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to copy the program across to the faulty PC

Direct link to the program is here http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifi_download_redirect.php
Then run and install the program
if you get an error - You need NET Framework installed for the WiFi Inspector to function.

Run the program

post a screen shot of the program running - if there are a lot of networks showing can you click on "networks" top lefthand area - so we can see all the network information, and also post which network "Adapter Name" (1st column) is yours on the list

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file.
To upload it to the forum, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

Since about a few months ago, SoundCloud, BandCamp and probably many other audio streaming websites (However mixcloud and Juno have been stable) pretty much won?t play any tracks on the desktop IE. I've tried the obvious stuff like disabling ActiveX filtering and Tracking Protection. At the time these issues began, I?d disabled the Windows Search service, there may have been Windows updates installing, but for the most part didn't apply or amend anything blatantly apparent to the issue. SoundCloud were beginning maintenance to the UI and I tweeted them about it, they stated others on 8.1 were having issues and they were looking into it, again, this was 3 months ago.

Metro Internet Explorer plays back SoundCloud and Bandcamp as it should, even though the Metro app is suppose to have limited compatibilities. At that point I thought it was an add-on for my desktop IE that was conflicting with Flash and preventing playback. I've tried enabling/disabling different add-ons, defaulting settings, testing the websites in In-Private browsing and the 64-bit variant to no avail, however I'm obviously up for trying that again if any of you state otherwise.

Here's where it gets more complicated - Desktop IE will still play tracks from certain users on SoundCloud, don't know if this' apparent with Bandcamp as I don't use it as frequently but the times I have tracks will just buffer indefinitely.
For reference, this' what my add-ons are and what the problems look like.

I have a desktop with Ethernet running Windows XP and a laptop running Windows 7 that connects to the internet wirelessly. When streaming shows online I have issues with both computers. I have tried various browsers although Chrome is the main one I use, I have tried emptying the cache, none of this helps. My daughter was here last night with her old Mac book and on that I had no problem at all viewing online TV shows. I have the most trouble with TV Land, a lot of trouble with CBS, not so much with Hulu. They tend to hesitate a lot, sound doesn't match video, video is very choppy, etc. I couldn't watch the Olympics at all. When someone was doing a triple lutz, I saw maybe one as it misses so much movement. Maybe the best way to describe it is like watching an old movie and seeing every other frame. On my laptop which is newer, if my husband is watching an NBA game, for example, it may be really clear then gradually get blurrier then after a few minutes clear up then back to blurry. My internet connection is great with a download speed of 9.85 per speedtest.net. I have looked everywhere for help but am finding nothing.

Hi guys,

This is my first post on this forum and it looks like a ocean of knowledge, which is what I've been looking for.

I've have an issue with a friends PC that I said I would look into for him.

Basically he can open video files mpeg, avi, mov etc... when loading them from his hdd but as soon as he goes online to say bbci player, youtube, myspace etc he cannot view the video and his PC locks up and you have to pull the power to restart as task manager won't open to close the browser.

He's tried explorer and mozilla but the problem appears on both browsers.

Strange thing is if the stream is set to open with mediaplayer it runs fine, so it's leading me to believe that it's a codec issue.

I've set default player as mediaplayer but still BBCi player won't I've sorted him out with the lastest Divx and drivers/firmware versions for all hardware.

I know youtube uses a flash player so is there a specific codec for media player to run flash streams?

All comments welcome as I'm starting to rn out of ideas.

Thanks for reading.

Firstly run IE Reset (I know it's both, but please follow the steps)
How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES)

Then CCleaner

Then to go to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/flash/trigger/en/3/index.html and install the latest Flash Player

Then update your Java

Then run the defaults on your personal Firewall (or uninstall, for the moment)
Also confirm you don't have another background pogram running like Spybots S&D

Then (after a restart or two) try the video pages again

Still faulty?

I have for the last four days been experiencing some extremely slow video streaming problems with all website involving flash (netflix, youtube, hulu, etc.). The video will play for about 2 minutes and then stop, then play again for 2 minutes, then stop. Buffering is extremely slow, even with my network operating at the same speed. This problem started happening when adobe flash updated to version

I went through a series of steps I will describe below.

Here is a description of my system:
ASUS UL50AT Notebook
Windows 7 64 bit
Mobile Intel (R) Series 4 Express Chipset - with latest driver (2/11/11) - 1 GB
Adobe Flash version (updated)
2.52 Mbps download, 1.52 Mbps upload speed (AT&T DSL)
Firefox 5.0 and IE 9.0.8112.1611
2GB RAM (only about 10% used during heavy internet use)

I started out by cleaning my cache and registry. I did so on firefox cleaning out everything, then went on my Registry Mechanic and did the same thing. Didn't fix it.

I then updated my graphics card driver to the latest version (as in above). It is surprising to me that their latest driver is from 2/11/11, but that was the latest they had.

I tried using IE instead of firefox with netflix, hulu, and youtube. Got the same issue.

I tried streaming video without my wireless card, going directly through my router via ethernet cable. Video streaming issues persisted. Also did a speed test and got same results as with wi... Read more

Hello all,

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. The problem I am having involves streaming media from my WHS to my PS3. No matter what I am watching normally 10-15 minutes into it there will be a freeze and then I will receive a media server error message (80710723). At that point if I want a few minutes it will sometimes continue, other times it will drop off. If I hit pause, rewind and fumble with it, sometimes that will work and get the video rolling again. This happens when accessing my server directly or also when using programs like Tversity.

My PS3 is hardwired to a switch which is hardwired to my Comcast modem.

I have already tried things like setting my PS3 as a static IP and then going into my modem settings and setting the DMZ to allow all access from the PS3 IP. After doing this, it still has the same issues when streaming. At this point I am almost giving up and may just transfer the movies over to the PS3 before watching them as opposed to streaming.

Thanks again for any help.

Hello everyone. Thanks for taking time to read this, I really appreciate it.

So, here's how it goes. All of a sudden, I've been having strange video streaming issues with my laptop. I've had it for about eight months now, and everything has always worked just fine. Now, when going to places like Youtube, Hulu, Comedy Central, Megavideo etc, the buffering is just not happening well at all. I could watch 90 minute videos in 720p on Youtube and would never have an issue. I've tested the video in IE (ugh) and it all seems to be working fine. But I can't go back to IE. I just can't stand it. I've gotten spoiled with AdBlock and I can never go back. (Tested with AdBlock uninstalled as well, with no luck.)

So far I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Firefox. Reset my computer, and router. Cleared cache, temp files, history. I am fully optimized with zero viruses or spyware of any kind. Always defrag-ed and all that maintenance jazz.

Win 7 Home Premium 64bit

Nvidia Geforce 410 or 420 laptop card or some such nonsense

I have an odd issue with my WIFI when streaming TV on my chromecast or music on my HEOS speakers.

Whenever we're streaming, if either me or my girlfriend unlock our android phones then the signal is lost and will reconnect shortly after. In some cases, the signal is lost even when merely receiving a SMS or even just a snapchat message.

I work at my internet provider, although not in that division, and certainly not as a technician. Nevertheless, i asked a colleague to look up my connection and there seemed to be no issues with my connection nor the router.

Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

I don't know if this is the right sub forum, but here goes.

A while ago, I had an issue with WMP where it wouldn't load streams from msn music uk. I just cancelled my sub, thinking it was something there end.

One day, I needed to format, after reloading, i decided to see if my beloved music streaming service worked again. Voila! It did. So I assumed something dodgy may have been installed.

The other day, it randomly stopped working again. With the error message : There was a problem playing this stream. Please try another track.

I would sometimes get the good old network error message aswell, depending on which options i tried ticking/unticking in the network options.

Now I've tried pretty much every network setting. Basically the issue is, it just freezes for 10-15 seconds, then 'connecting to media' then times out.

I even tried formatting to solve this issue. Twice. And it's still there. Restarted my router.. no joy.

Any of you tech guys have any idea how to fix this?

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the place to post this issue but here goes:

When i try to watch videos (streaming from websites) the video and sound are in sync with each other. However after about 15 minutes in, they start to get out of sync and it gets progressively worse as time goes on. (The sound comes through about 2-3 seconds before the video). Is there anything i can do about this problem? i'm fairly sure my laptop is up to the challenge as it is a brand new Dell Inspiron with dual-core processor running Vista.

Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

I am having trouble with my Processor when I am gaming Black Ops 2 and streaming with OBS. My processor is Intel Core i7 4700-MQ 2.4Ghz, Turbo up to 3.2Ghz. I got 8 Gbs of Ram, and Nvidia Geforce GT 745M 2gb. This is what my problem is. Usually when I play Black Ops 2 I can have almost high graphics, I cap at 60 Frames and its stable. But over time or the higher I try to go My frames stay at 60 but go down to mid 50s sometimes. The thing is that my audio kinda cuts out and glitches out and stutters when that happens. Thats how i know its my processor. Well when I stream, I use 30 FPS, 720, and superfast for my CPU. Black Ops 2 is 720 with everything turned down and I also have Itunes playing. Over a short time it starts doing the frame drops, and audio glitches etc. Is there something wrong with my processor? Cause my processor, Graphics, and Ram are more then capable to stream and play black ops 2 with higher graphics without doubt. My GPU tempature stays at around 72, because I took off the base under neath to keep it cooler, but thats when I stream. Without it it stays at 68. Taking the bottom off put the temparture down by at least 10. I really wanna fix this problem cause I love streaming. Thank you.

A:Processor issues when gaming, and Streaming?

Frames/sec dropping from 60 > 55 is nothing, perfectly normal in any game. No problem at all.
A re-install your sound driver is an obvious thing to try.

Running another sound Application like Itunes whilst running a game is not a good idea. It may not be up to job of so many sound channels at the same time.

I don't know Itunes, but if there is a means of lowering it's priority, resource usage you may gain something. The thing is, is the game sound OK when you are not running Itunes ?

I don't see your CPU processor as anything to do with this at all.

Hey Folks,

I wish I were a computer tech but most of the things I fix and improve I find through google However, in this case I am at my wits end and cannot figure out what's going on.

A few days ago streaming at some of my favorite sites have slowed down and even stopped. I used to be able to click on a YouTube link and it would load quickly, I used to visit various sites like hulu and netflix and click a link and it would load in no time. Now it can take a looooong time to load and several cam streaming sites I used to visit they load very slow and very choppy. I've contacted my Internet Provide ( AT&T ) and they have ran all kinds of tests on my line and even switched out my modem and still I'm having this issue.

It's very odd but last night I was up late and wanted to watch a movie and tried my luck and my streaming worked great! When I woke in the morning the streaming was back to the choppy mess I've been trying to fix.

When I watch streaming movies the sound levels are uneven. In order to hear the talking part of the movie I have to max the sound level, but then when music or action sound Fx appear the sound is way too loud. The voice level even at max is barely adequate - if an actor whispers even at max sound level it is barely audible. It is frustrating to have to constantly turn the sound volume up and down to watch the movie. I originally had this problem even playing commercial DVD's but solved it by downloading a player with decent audio controls. My VLC player as a "sound leveling" control that solved the problem. Is there anyway to fix this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! To keep it long story short, when using websites to stream videos with a friend it lags on my end which makes the video skip around and overall do other unpleasant things. This lag is not present when I watch videos with myself, and this happens on both firefox and chrome. I used to be able to stream without any problems, but this has been happening for atleast a good month or 3 now and I haven't done anything except for switch which browser I use. I've tried cleaning my web browser, cleaning up my computer, switching from wireless to wired internet, etc. My notebook is currently wired to a modem that is hooked up to the "family" computer, a desktop using windows 7.
A list of streaming websites I use and the symptoms I experience are
watch2gether.com and mycircle.com - Video pauses without me touching anything. When I sent a message in chat, it doesn't appear until seconds later.
watch2gther.com only - Chat "refreshes" itself (i.e. reloads everything said).
mycircle.com - Getting "sync aborted" messages. When I refresh the page the only thing that loads is the top banner and a blank chat.

I have e-mailed mycircle.com about what was going on, they said
The problem you describe seems to be linked to a saturation of the memory used by the processes of your browser while using mycircle.Click to expand...

I've been having problems with the following:

1. Stream vids (YouTube and other) - they'll play for a few seconds and then buffer forever.
2. Instant messaging using Trillian, FB and YIM - I am constantly disconnected repeatedly.

I'm on XP service pack 3 on my desktop with a wired cable connection.

I did a Malware scan and it found nothing. Adware and Spyware found a few minor items that it removed and still no improvement. Last month I watched a stream of a wrestling match with no problems and tonight I had to restart it every few seconds. My Adobe flash player is up to date.

This is a bit of a complicated issue, and I'll admit I'm over my head on this one. I have a Gateway laptop running Vista SP1 that is connected to my home wireless network. The wireless connection will work great....except when I try to stream any video. Once I stream video, within 10-15 minutes of the video starting my wireless connection will go from Connected to Limited or No Connectivity. If I am doing anything else on the web, be it reading web pages, streaming audio, or anything else that does NOT involve video I will stay connected.

Here's where things get stranger, when I go into Network & Sharing Center to try to repair the connection, I'm unable to do so. If I try to disconnect from the network, Network & Sharing Center will stop responding and cause Windows Explorer to crash. Checking the culprit of the crash I noted that svchost.exe is causing the system to crash. Once Windows Explorer restarts, I'm able to use the computer normally, except when I try to get back into Network & Sharing Center, Windows Explorer will stop responding and crash. The only way I can resolve this is to restart the computer.

I originally thought that this was an issue to a recent Windows Update, so I performed a System Restore to before the updates, which did not resolve the issue. I'll be happy to provide any more information if asked later on, and any advice would be helpful.

Just cancelled internet service I kept for two years, when my family started to stream movies and tv shows, as well as, online gaming with a few game systems. Recently, for Christmas a PS4. I have ran multiple internet speed tests from many different websites, for a weel in a row. All of them are in the 80s, but I'm paying for 250mbps. I went from 10 mbps to 250mbps just so I wouldn't have to worry about a ton of buffering when multiple devices were being used. Cell phones all run like tops. Laptops seem to be quick and smooth. On the Firestick, HULU and NetFlix run amazing, but any movie apps you download still seem to struggle as much as they did when we were getting 10 mbps. Hi guys,
Let me start off by giving filling you in on the history of the system. The PC was built roughly back in August 2012, using mainly brand new components. I used my old power supply and GPU.

The computer has run fine since the initial build, but has recently started to BSOD, and I can't seem to find a solution.

My problems first arose roughly two months ago, my computer reported a failing hard drive, luckily it was still under warranty so was promptly replaced. Soon after the replacement my computer started to randomly blue screen, and continued to become more frequent, to the stage that my PC could barely render or run photoshop.

Suspecting a RAM issue I tried removing a RAM stick, the issued ceased for roughly a month, with no hiccups. Roll forward a month and the issues started up again, and here I am.

Steps taken since BSOD issues started:

* Installed new RAM
* Installed new power supply
* Tried installing up to date GPU drivers, BIOS & chipset drivers.
* Performed a clean reformat.
* Tried running on separate hard drives.

I have run a prime95 test for a thirty minute duration, with no issues. You can find the temps below:

I did however receive a few errors, not quite sure what they mean.

Welcome to the forums ptERR and thanks for the information you have provided, let's begin with the analysis:

BugCheck D1, {e0000000, 2, 1, fffff88002c54a5b}

Probably caused by : hardware ( afd!AfdBFillPendingIrps+1b )
Stop 0xD1 is usually caused by drivers referencing invalid memory addresses and causing interrupts at IRQL levels which are too high. However, from the excellent information you have already provided, and the information from the Minidump, the first parameter tells us the memory address being referenced, and it appears to be within one of the CPU caches.

Okay, About three months ago, I got hacked HARD...permissions were changed, administrator rights were removed from my administrator accounts, etc. i was flabbergasted. THe iactually didn't bother me though until I ran a MBAM scan and found 133 viruses and spyware instances on my drive (NOT including tracking cookies!). I cleaned and recleaned, using MBAM, SuperantiSpyware, Avira, running each one in safe mode first, then loading into my normal account and running them, and finally erasing my user account and creating a new one. But even after the new user account was created with Administrator privileges, I still routinely received virus and Malware threat warnign flags from MBAM and Avira. Eventually, Avira and MBAM were disabled and Avira was "deleted" (Windows will not uninstall because the setup.exe file has been 'Changed" and won't reinstall it because I don't have "Administrator privileges" on my Administrator accounts!) even though at startup I receive an error message saying that Avira has been corrupted. The most telling issue is that antivirus and spyware/Malware scans come up clean on Safe mode scans, but using my normal account, the machine reboots. Using Superantispyware I notice that it's always during the memory test that this occurs (and in Safe Mode, it passes through this section with no issue). None of my antivirus programs will download updates, even ones I start manually, and although I have no problem acc... Read more

After many months enjoying Netflix, Hulu, Amazon videos on my PC patched inyto my HD Flat screen, via a HDMI cable, I can no longer get any of these sites to play on my PC. Either it tries to load for hours, or it starts to play for a few seconds, freezes up, flashes "Buffer" on my screen, then does nothing else> I thought the problem was just with free sites, but I did purchase some videos on Amazon, and I get the same result. Memory overload? cache problem? Appreciate any help you can give. Thanks

All right guys! I have a question regarding streaming video to my TV; I’m a total newb at this so bear with me I will try to make it short!

Recently I got myself an apartment right next to my university and it’s time to get the set-up working!
Since I can’t really afford the giant TV package I am stuck with the default cable. In other words; not a lot of channels at all…

Now, I have a lot of movies and TV shows on my computer and I was wondering if it would be possible to stream that to my TV wirelessly. Can I set up a server or a portable hard drive and connect it or something?
I know it’s possible to connect it with an HDMI cable, but is there another way? I feel like my PC is gonna burn out in a month if I play games and watch blu-ray movies all day at the same time…

I looked into the Apple TV, would that be the best idea?

My TV is not really that special; it has HDMI and handles blu-ray quality perfectly, but it doesn’t have USB.

I can swing 170$ but would hate to pay a lot more than that.

I hope you guys could take a little time helping me out with this!
Thanks in advance, and enjoy the rest of your weekend

PS: Im not quite sure if this was supposed to go in the "Hardware" section, but I will try my luck here!

I am wanting to stream my ps3 games to my pc so i could record the feed or audio, but i am unsure as to how i should do this at the moment. Any suggestions on hardware and software that could allow this would most likely help a lot. Also im quite interested in how this feed could then also be sent directly to another computer miles away from mine (i suppose via the internet).

A:Streaming TV/PS3 to PC

I'm using an USB TV device. You basically have the USB, then it splits into composite.
This won't work with the TV, though. Only the PS3 or any other game console.

You can use the AV cable from a PS2 as a signal cable for the PS3.

Then you need a program to actually show the signal. There is a freeware program called DScaler.

The TV device costs like 40-50 USD

Greetings;  Progress brings new questions. We like many others have cut the cable and will employ other means of programming. That process brings more questions and technologies which we are certainly willing to learn, so the questions start. We understand some of the technology used in streaming, but can it be simplified. i.e; As I understand it, streaming employs the use of an HDMI cable. My computer has a place in the back to plug-in an HDMI cable and is it a simple matter to plug one end of the cable into the computer and the other to my flat screen tv and go from there or is there other electronic devices to be used in the process. Thanks for any info.

Yes, just plug the cable in.
You may need to set up the display correctly. To do this right click on the desktop and click "Screen resolution" from the menu, then select and configure the display.

Hi all,

My knowledge of networks is not great so i need some help

I am running Windows 7 on a Fatality P67 motherboard with all the latest drivers . I am using a cable modem and a Belkin N1 Router. I have various pieces of kit all around the house linked mainly by Belkin Powerline adaptors and i have no trouble picking up the network on all of them with the correct IP and MAC addresses. These include laptops , desktops , AV amps and Blu ray players etc

However i can't seem to be able to stream any files at all.

I have a Homegroup and I have gone into the files I want to stream and authorised "sharing" and given all locations "read/write" rights.

The file then shows a small picture of two people and states sharing next to it .

If i use my WD Streamer as an example (it's the same on all kit ) it shows my homegroup under media server but states "no files are found"

As i said earlier i pick up the network on all the units and only last night downloaded a firmware upgrade to my Av Amp which worked with no issues . so i presume i either have a function not ticked or not working within the set up on my main computer

I'd appreciate any help or advice
