550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired

Q: 550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired

We have a very important client who when they attempt to mail a user on our domain irregularly get's bounce backs with the message:

#550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired ##

The client in question does not appear to have issues mailing anyone else on our domain or any other. I receive all E-mail they send to me. The user here also has no other issues with his mail. As I said, the issue occurs irregularly: some days it's fine, others it's not.

Does anyone know if this is an issue our end or theirs please?

Preferred Solution: 550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: 550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired

I did a Google search for 550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired and most of the found pages seem to suggest the problem is most likely with Microsoft Exchange Server on the sending end.

I have two outstanding work orders with this message. One is for incoming mail, and the other is for outgoing mail. Our network admin ran some tests once we received the first ticket in connection with outgoing mail and has deduced that the recipient has our mail blocked. Shortly after, another work order came in but is a client trying to email a staff person here.

The entire bounce back from the outgoing mail:

We have a local exchange server 2010, running on MS Small business server 2011 Standard

Problem is we can not send emails to certain domains.
It will take a couple of days before the user will get a delivery delayed and then a Queue expired message.
When I check the Queue is can see the emails sent are there always with the last error:

451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "421 4.4.2 connection dropped due to SocketError " attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed.

If I go to the messages it shows 421 Service temporarily unavailable.

If I google the first message I get information on Symantec Email Security. Problem is we do not use it and I phoned the IT departments of the affected domains we can not send to, only one of them used this service and there were no records of our email being blocked.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am getting the message "The password of this user has expired." when I try to access another computer's shared drives. Both computer's are on Windows 2000 SP1. These two computers are using a workgroup. I can access shared folders one way, but not the other way. I checked to make sure the user profile is not disabled on the PC that is not sharing.

This set-up was working fine for the last two months or so, and all of the sudden we're getting this error message. No programs were loaded on either PC.

Note: When I first set this small LAN up, I had to have the motherboard replaced because the onboard NIC was bad. I am suspicious of the NIC, but since I am able to share files from the other computer, I'm not sure what to check. HELP!

A:W2000 Password Expired message

If you have administrative tools installed, go in there. Should be under the start, programs folder. If it's not there, go into control panel, and open it. Click computer management, local users and groups, local users, then right click the name of the person who's computer your accessing from your system, and click properties. Check the password never expires box, then apply, then ok, and try again. If that don't work, go back in there, remove the checkmark, and click the one stating they need to make a new password on next login. Log them off, then back on, change the password, then try again.

For almost 2 months, people with GoDaddy hosted e-mail accounts are not getting a lot of e-mail sent to them from sbcglobal.net and bellsouth.net domains. Apparently, there is either an issue at Yahoo, who manages e-mail for those domains, or at GoDaddy. You can read a long thread about this issue at community.godaddy.com/groups/email/forum/topic/452-too-many-recipients-received-this-hour.

It may be that GoDaddy is doing some sort of over filtration of Yahoo sourced e-mail in the name of blocking spam. The problem is many GoDaddy users are not getting legitimate e-mails because of this problem.

If you or your clients get their e-mail via GoDaddy, you may want to send some test e-mails from the known problem domains, if you can, to make sure you are not experiencing this problem.

Greetings. My brother-in-law has a computer that he only uses for games. Never connects to the internet but it has windows XP for the O/S. He now gets a pop-up that says windows XP has expired and nothing further. Can't play the games anymore. What happened.?

A:XP Expired??

Please give more precise details of the sequence here, is this when Windows starts or from the desktop when he tries to play games? If it's the Windows XP End of Support alert popup, checking "Don't show this message again" and OK will prevent it from appearing, and operation will continue as normal, but it doesn't sound like that's the issue.
If it is a suite of games that are refusing to run, but other functions in the OS still work, then it's possible the games were programmed with a hard limit date so they could not be used on XP after the support cutoff date.

I bought the digital copy of windows 7 not long after it came out, i got the 32 bit version, but now im interested in changing to the 64 bit (mostly for more ram)

my question is, am i allowed to do this, since i bought 32 bit am i stuck with that? or cna i change over to 64 bit on the same license?

if i AM allowed to change, where can i download the 64 bit version.

I followed the link in my email from when i bought the copy from microsoft, but it told me the URL had expired.

A:where can i download it if my URL expired?

Yes, you can use the same key on a 64 bit install of the SAME edition provided you uninstall the current one completely.

The iso installers for the digital version are available on the internet. I'd give you a link but forum rules dont allow. Just google.

A:Certificate Expired?

As far as I know, you can't eliminate the message. It's up to the site to "fix " their certificates. The one thing you can do is, if you have the sites bookmarked as favorites, try not using the favorite and going directly to the site. You may have an old URL bookmarked.

I am trying to install a program on my laptop. i know its safe, its just old, the certificate date expired a couple years ago, so windows will not install it. How do I change the expiration date on a certificate?

A:expired certificate

It's not always a matter of it being "safe". It's a method of controlling a software license to prevent use.

For example: you buy a 1 year lic of application A. The lic will expire in one year. To continue using the application, you need to renew the license.

Per the forum rules, we cannot assist with what could be illegal activities.

I made a TSF user to ask about this which have troubled me for a while now.

So I have had IDM (Internet Download Manager) on my computer and I have been getting pop ups about it being expired. So I had deleted it but the pop ups continued popping up for me.

This happens when I was going to download something, which stopped me from starting the download, aswell as when I have started up the computer. So to download something that gets blocked by IDM I have to go on a different browser which has gotten quite annoying to do.

So if someone knows a solution to getting rid of the damned pop up and not blocking my downloads, I would be really happy.

A:NAV expired...looking for better option

I got rid of NAV 2003 using only Add/Remove and a Registry cleaner (RegSupreme), but some people seem to have more difficulty.

Symantec provide removal tools and the one you need depends on the version you have. This is for 2003 and earlier; http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2001092114452606 and this is for 2004 and later versions; http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...sf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=
(although I see it refers to 2003 as well as the later versions?)

Better options would include AVG and Avast if you are happy with free programs or NOD32 or Kapersky if you are happy to pay. Have a look here; http://www.av-comparatives.org/ Click on 'Comparatives' and have a look at the February and May online results.

Call MS tech support and they will sort it out for you. You could be typing in an incorrect character, or there is a flaw in the system.

When you speak with MS, if asked tell them you had the old qualifying XP or Vista (you have one, right?) on the HD at the time you clean installed with Upgrade version or they may send you back to do it over again. (Been happenin lately, for some reason - which is ironic since they were giving out the registry workaround in Oct.)

I'm using the RSS feed to populate a box on my main site with news articles. This works for the most part, with one glaring exception. If I set an article to expire, the headline remains visible in the feed, but when you click the link to read more, it brings you to a completely blank page. This obviously will make people think my site is broken, and they feel obligated to let me know. Frequently.

So, is there a fix, other than manually removing "dead" news articles completely, to get the RSS feed to show only active, non-expired articles? Failing that, is there a way to force a "no article by that name" view in the main window or something? A totally blank page simply makes me look bad

If the Administrator password needs to be reset, and there are no other users with administrative access, there is no way to recover the password and the operating system will need to be reinstalled.Click to expand...

So looks like you will need to reinstall it. If you reinstall, make sure you do NOT format the drive before installing. You can install W2K over itself and still retain your files, but your programs may need to be reinstalled again.

This article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2677070/an-automatic-updater-of-untrusted-certificates-is-available-for-window mentions the authroot.stl, specifically that the latest version of this can be downloaded at http://ctldl.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootstl.cab.
However, the present version at the above URL expired 2018-09-12, i.e., last Wednesday!
Why is this no longer updated? Or has the URL been changed?

Thank you in advance,

I purchased a HP Pavilion Notebook on 04/01/2017, and I keep getting a message saying that the warranty has expired. The end date given under warranty and services remaining in the message is 02/09/2016, which is 4 months before I actually purchased the product - how can this be?

A:Expired Warranty

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
