OWA buttons not working

Q: OWA buttons not working

I am using IE 6 and accessing Outlook via Outlook Web Access. None of the buttons for reply, find, etc. are working -- when I click on them nothing happens. This occasionally happens on certain links in other sites as well.

Any thoughts as to the cause?

Preferred Solution: OWA buttons not working

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: OWA buttons not working

Its possibly related to no Java support in your browser. Often Java Runtime Environment is not loaded by default. You can download a copy from:

If anyone has acces to the connections/schematics for the M4600 touchpad/button assembly, I'd love to see them! For some reason both the right buttons have stopped working. Tried to disconnect/reconnect  the 14 pin "touchpad cable from the mainboard, but unfortunately this did not do the trick. Need to look a bit deeper - so would love to see the schematics or at least the pinout of the connector(s)... (It's a button - how hard can it be to fix... ;-)
Thanks and best regards,

Hi, I bought a new HP Notebook 15-ac185no with Windows 10 yesterday, and found that none of the function keys are working. It seems I couldn't find any drivers for it for my model, so I looked at some of the other threads on this topic, and none of the solutions there worked for my computer. Is there a driver I can download? Thanks!

Hello! I have a HP 630 Notebook PC. After some time the warranty expired, I tried to clean it up on the inside, because there was too much dust and it was overheating very fast. After doing this (I disconnected some cables and reconnected them the exact same way they were), some keys are not working. I tried Hard Reset, I tried uninstalling the keyboard from Device Manager, still not working. Also, I ran HP PC UEFI Hardware Diagnostics, and it returned me this error code: UAGDWJ-0008HX-MFKR5F-G03403. Do you know any solutions for my problem? Thanks in advance!

A:RE: touchpad buttons not working.

What is the exact system model? Are both the left and right buttons not functional? Are these buttons mechanically functional or are they stuck? What is the current OS installed on the system? Does the touchpad register a click?
Restart the system and press f12 key on startup - choose diagnostics. Let it run the diags and if you encounter any errors - make a note of the complete error and report the same to us. These are onboard diagnostics and they might possible pick some error if the hardware is not functional.
If there is no warranty, then you could contact our team to get a quote for a paid service call - http://dell.to/1vnT6CQ

Hello, Since I've installed windows 7 64 bit on my pc, the brightness buttons are not working while the rest of the function keys are working. Why?

A:The brightnesss buttons are not working.

Hi: Most likely the brightness is stuck on maximum because you need to install the graphics driver... This package provides the driver that enables the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/sp56673.exe

I have a Toshiba Satellite A200-27Z. It is a fairly old laptop running Vista but there are no plans to get rid of it yet!

A couple of weeks ago the touchpad and mouse buttons stopped working. There was no lead up to this, just suddenly stopped. This lead to a second issue with my wireless connection which I eventually had to solve by re-installing Windows (I sought help in this thread http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista/1125652-wireless-password-not-accepted.html#post8906770).

The fresh install of Windows fixed my wireless issues but strangely the touch pad and buttons still don't work at all. Given that I just installed Windows with all the drivers does that mean this is a hardware fault? And is there a way to fix it or do I now have to rely on the USB mouse?

Thank you in advance for any help,

A:Touchpad and buttons not working

Since you re-installed Windows with fresh install of drivers for the touchpad, chances are good that it is a hardware failure.

Try resetting/updating the BIOS.

Did you install XP yourself using a retail version of XP?

You need to install the Common Modules and other hotkey related drivers.

After being infected with a trojan yesterday, I have my laptop back up and running, however, the top 4 buttons, Thinkpad, Volume down, Volume up, and mute are not working. A:Top buttons on keyboard not working

The driver will be an audio driver, if it is that. You can go into Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices to try accessing the same services from there and let us now if that works. Because if it does, your sound driver is perfectly loaded an the problem may likely be elsewhere.

@joseadriansr Hello;Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums! Anytime someone comes here running Win10 and complains about something suddenly not working, I immediately suspect Windows Driver updates.Unfortunately, Win10 automatically forces driver updates on all of us, without our knowledge, and without our permission -- and when this happens, a working PC can suddenly become "broken". This might have happened to you.You need to go into Settings, Update & Security --> Windows Update. Then, choose Advanced Options --> History to see when updates were last applied. If you see any that include device drivers, those could be the problem. So, if you can, you should see if you can rollback the drivers that are causing the problem. You do this by going into Device Manager, seeing if the appropriate device is still listed, and if so, trying to rollback the last driver update. And if that fixes the problem, then consider disabling future driver updates using the information in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.htmlNote: I have disabled driver updates on ALL my Win10 PC, and life under Win10 has been a lot more pleasant every since! If that does not fix the problem, and your PC is still under warranty, you paid for free HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.While this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directl... Hi! First off, I am new to the HP community (as of this post), so please correct me if I do something wrong here. My good-ol' veteran laptop, my HP Compaq Presario CQ62, has had some problems with the mouse buttons recently. They're not disabled in any way, and were working fine a couple weeks ago. They don't work most of the time but every now and then the right click works, but rarely. I've tried everything - any help here? I'm having to tap the mousepad, which I really hate. Feels like I'm tapping on a rock. It runs Windows 10, 64-bit and is still super fast and has really been through the wringer, but still perfect. So what should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm not sure if this problem is for the hardware or OS forum, as I'm not sure where the problem stems from.

Recently I've been having trouble with certain keys on my keyboard, as well as my fingerprint reader. Some of my keys don't work very well at all, and some work only sporadically. The keys I'm talking about aren't any of the input keys for typing or anything, but rather the keys to adjust volume, brightness, screen width, etc. I'm not sure why the keys stopped working, but if someone could help with that would be awesome.

I am also having trouble with my fingerprint scanner stopping working. It works when I restart or boot my computer, but after I've logged in a few times it stops working. Any ideas on this?

Could it be a problem with malware? I'm going to put a request in for malware help in that forum after I finish this.

W530 laptop with latest recommended Synaptics driver (, Windows 10. I occasionally play games on my laptop using the touchpad and mouse buttons. Thanks to these forums, I learned that I needed to disable PalmCheck in order to be able to use the touchpad at the same time as the keyboard. Everything works great for my (default admin) account. I set up an account for my son to use so he could play Minecraft with his brother. Though I have more than quadruple-checked the Ultranav settings from my son's account, the mouse buttons refuse to operate when a key is pressed. Interestingly, the touchpad itself DOES respond, it's just the mouse buttons (both R & L) that insist on waiting until all keys have been released. So in summary:* Works fine on my original > 4-year-old account that I migrated from W8 years ago;* Does not work on a separate account I created a couple of months ago. Any idea where to begin with this one? This smells like a funky setting in the registry for my son's account.

I just replaced my old system with a new one, and used the sound system I had with the old one.

I had a few problems getting sound to work, realized that had to use the digital out to get the system I have to work. After using an adapter from the digital out it worked fine. I proceeded to dump the Norton that was installed and download Mcaffee from AOL. I also downloaded Spybot and Adaware and ran scans,, deleted a few nasties that came up and ran scan with Mcaffee. Everything fine with the exception that the volume buttons on the keyboard no longer work. Ive been into all the Keyboard setup and volume controls and have yet to find anything to make the keyboard controls work again. It shows on the screen when u push the button but doesn't control vol. I can adjust externally or on the application. I have downloaded the latest drivers from HP but that didn't help either. All other controls work. Any ideas anyone?

HI all,

Got a new Toshiba laptop in September. Came with Win 7. I tried giving IE9 a chance but I really didn't like how it had changed from IE8. So I rolled back to IE8 shortly after getting the Toshiba. Well, last night I was updating and like all the other times I update, Windows wanted me to upgrade to IE9. I went ahead and did this because IE8 was giving me a few fits with google search window redirecting me back to google homepage and the back button not working sometimes. I use Norton's 3 in 1 security and use Microsoft essential as an extra tool for finding Malware and so on. Anyhow my computer is clean as far as being infected goes. I think the google redirect is in "google" itself and has to do with the auto search settings. Just guessing though.

Anyway, I pull up IE9 and locate my favorites. However, its the default list of Favorites, all of mine had been deleted. I do have a favorite visible in my user settings but they are the default too. So, I rolled back to IE8 again. This time though after a few searches and looking at a few pages the buttons stop working again. This time it acted up much quicker. I reset IE8 from the internet tools and my buttons worked again upon opening a new window in IE8. It didn't last long as shortly into browsing they stopped working again. This time I went into my uninstall windows components and unchecked IE8 waited until it was done uninstalling and then rebooted. I then went back in and rechecked the box for IE8 a... Read more

I am not especially computer literate, but I will explain my problem as best I can.
I am using Windows 7. Yesterday, the window buttons (minimize, restore, close) have ceased operating in both Firefox and Thunderbird. I have to minimize/restore from the taskbar for them to restore operation.
When I minimize and restore the window, the buttons work, but after any other operation in the browser (scroll, change tab, whatever) they stop responding. Another minimize/restore window and they work again but they stop responding again as I explained.
I have also noticed that I cannot easily click commands in dialog boxes that appear on screen when I am using Firefox. For example, when I went to download DDS and the Download box popped up, I could not click the Save button without first manually minimizing and then maximizing Firefox.
Finally, I also cannot drag and drop icons on the desktop. In addition, none of the function buttons on YouTube (e.g., pause, volume) work.
This computer’s hard drive is partitioned into sections for me and for my three kids. These problems are not occurring on my kids’ partitions of the hard drive. Just mine.
A member has been trying to help me with this situation, but none of the suggestions have solved the problem thus far. Here is a link to the previous thread that details the attempted fixes:

Hey guys, I use a Toshiba Satellite A100 Laptop. A few hours ago I was pulling something out from under the spacebar button, and now the X, C, V, M and quotation buttons won't work! Sometimes if I push the spacebar on the side, it'll do something like this: mFDA"

Yesterday the left and right buttons on my touchpad started to mess up. Clicking the left button sometimes wouldn't do anything and sometimes it would bring up the right-click menu. I would have to right-click something first before I could do anything to it with the left click nearly all the time. The right button sometimes won't bring up the menu and sometimes it will but only for a second. There are also random times where the menu will pop up when I just barely touch the right button.

I've already checked the mouse options and they're all set correctly and also reinstalled the correct driver from Vaio's website and nothing works.

The only thing that's happened when the buttons started messing up was that my computer was badgering me about restarting to complete a few updates. I also watched a movie too though that was about a day or two before, so it might either be something from the update that my computer can't handle anymore or a virus, least that's what I think but I don't know anything so I'm asking you guys.

I have a Steelseries Ikari Opitcal Gaming mouse. It consists of left, right, 2 more buttons near the thumb area, the scroll wheel (which can be clicked, middle mouse button) and another button just behind the scroll wheel which changes the sensitivity between low and high for the mouse itself.

I have installed the latest Ikari drivers, but let me detail when the problem arose and what I've done as well as what I'd like the final result to be like:

The problem first came up while playing a game, Magicka. As something worth mentioning, comodo antivirus announced that the game wanted to inject input8.dll file or something of the sort. I naturally allowed this, expecting no problems would happen. This may be a key point to the problem, although I can't be too sure.

While playing the game, the middle mouse button stopped working, and that's a fairly core aspect of the game, and for some reason the keybinds can't be changed, not sure why, but oh well - I'm stuck without a middle mouse button and unable to do much about it...

The support site shows the latest drivers -

SteelSeries Ikari Optical
Win 2000, Win XP, Win Vista
Region: EN. Version: 1.0. Released: 2008-11-28
Download (2854 KB)
