sytem32.exe issues

Q: sytem32.exe issues

I contacted Microsoft & discussed this problem with them. They told me to delete system32.exe, which I did. I then installed NAV 2004 and ran a full scan, fixing & deleting files as indicated.

I've followed their instructions to the letter, but am still having issues at startup with the machine looking for system32.exe.

I ran HijackThis. Below is the log from that scan. Any help in resolving this issue is appreciated:

Preferred Solution: sytem32.exe issues

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi there. You folks were kind enough to help me a while back with a laptop so now I'm back with the desktop. Don't know what I stumbled on but here are the symptoms: System32 folder always comes up when I log on, browser homepage keeps pointing to sercurityuptodate.net, and my desktop background is gone. Everytime I log on, SpyBot catches a default page change and I deny about a half-dozen and it stops. Here's what I've done so far: Ran AdAware, Spybot S&D, Ewido, cwshredder, Cleanup!, McAffee, and finally HijackThis. The log follows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In advance.

Hi, I picked up a sytem32.exe pirate virus recently and have run an anti virus prog which seems to have cleared it except for 3 critical files infected which it cannot repair (windows\system32\mapisrvr.exe, ..........\mdisp32.exe.......and \mapisp32.exe). There were about 500 infected files a lot of which it's quarrantined and I guess I'll need to reinstall a fair few programs! I am also getting the error message when I start Windows (XP Home edition) "Windows cannot find "C:\windows\system32\system32.exe". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again...."
I know this has been mentioned earlier in other posts so I've downloaded Hijackthis and here's the log - I'd really appreciate some help on this if possible. Thanks guys.

Why can't you reinstall? Where and when do you see a message and exactly what does it say?

When did this begin and what led up to it? Were there any other symptoms?

Hi,

I have two machines running Win7 64 bit.- one is lenovo laptop t540p, another is a Thinkcentre desktop.

Since about Sept.-Oct. this year both machines would hang up forever when running Windows Update (I always installed updates manually). So, I did some "research". I run a few "fixes" and downloaded some updates manually from MS website and after that Windows Update started to work again (or so I thought).

So, when I ran the Windows Update I would get the following message (on both computers): "Your system is up to date, no updates are available". After not getting any updates for about 3 weeks I suspected that something was not right and did more research: it looked like the updater was damaged/not working properly.
After searching the web I found this fix on MS website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058

I followed he instructions for a manual reset of the components and was able to "fix" both machines- got updates yesterday on the desktop, today on the laptop.

However, while manually re-registering the .dll files, I found that many of them were missing from the System32 folder.

I just run the system scan (sfc scannow) command on the laptop and got the message: "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation".

Do I need to worry about the missing dll files?

Is it possible to get the files from my back-up disc w/ Win.7?

Can I download the missing... Read more

A:Missing .dll files from sytem32 folder

It can be that the Dll were replaced on a update.
As System File Check (SFC) didn't find any issues and if the computer is running without problems, I wouldn't worry.

hello everyone, it's my first post here

so here's the thing: I tried experimenting with some themes from the internet and somehow got the wrong browseui.dll to boot with vista so i'm stuck with windows with no GUI. now, i would like to fix it by renaming back the original browseui.dll (which is now named browseui1.dll, in the same directory [C:\windows\system32\]) but when i type in "ren C:\windows\system32\browseui1.dll browseui.dll" i get the access is denied message (this is after typing "cmd" in the run textbox). i still have access to the taskmanager and the usual "ctrl+alt+del" menu.
sooo if anyone is able to help me that would be great!
PS: i'm not such a computer savvy so please take it easy on me )

cheers,

A:[HELP ME!] wrong browseui.dll in sytem32 folder

you should be able to do it if you boot into the command prompt before vista loads.

Press F8 after the bios screen but before windows starts to load.

Hi,
I have spent two days trying to fix a problem and I need your help. I have attached my hijack log. I am getting the error: C:/windows/system32/rund1132.exe NOT found whenever I try to open any icons in my control panel. ie system restore or add/remove programs etc.

I have run ad-aware, spybot and have all the lastest updates on my anti-virus program. I have tried to delete the file in my hijack log:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup

But when I reboot it comes back. I also unchecked it in my msconfig box and when I reboot it rechecks itself. This must be spyware for it to do this, but I can't get rid of it. PLEASE help!!!

Hello and Welcome. Please subscribe to this thread to get immediate notification of replies as soon as they are posted.

Your thread title mentioned - rund1132.exe.
Do you mean to say this instead - RUNDLL32.EXE

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup

This is a legitimate entry created by your Nvidia display drivers. Do NOT fix anything with HijackThis unless your certain. HijackThis is a powerful tool. In the wrong hands, it will render your Operating System to be inoperable.

Some infections are known to overwrite the legit file - RUNDLL32.EXE. That may be the cause of your problem. Then again, some users are known to delete RUNDLL32.EXE if they are misled to believe it's malicious.

We need to search your machine if it has spare copies of this file. Please do this now...

Enable the viewing of Hidden files
From Windows Explorer, go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab. Tick - 'Show hidden files and folder'

Well i have recently noticed my fairly new laptop becoming very sluggish. I had already cleaned out my disk with tune up utilities, done a scan with adaware pro and defragged but to no avail.i then did a scan with avg 8 and found the following 3 files:
windows\system32\drivers\AWRTPD.sys
windows\system32\drivers\AWRTPD.sys
windows\system32\drivers\NSDriver.sys

avg couldnt remove these or heal them. I then did a sfc/scannow and it said windows had found problems but couldnt repair them.i tried all the steps to try and find what the files were but couldnt find them.its probably just me and i was doing something wrong. Im just trying to regain the speed of my laptop as i have tried everything i know how to do.any suggestions most welcome.

I remember closing firefox so I checked task manager and I found ANOTHER firefox. When I close this firefox, an open file - security warning pops out with the publisher could not be verified, are you sure you want to run this file or something like that. It also says C:\Windows\System32\System32\updater.exeI went to msconfig start-up and saw THREE WindowsApplication1 with them saying: C:\Windows\System32\System32\updater.exe, so I unchecked them and restarted. However, everytime when I restart my computer or shut down my computer and then on back the next day, I would get a black screen with the top left corner saying: setting up personalized settings for: C:\Windows\System32\System32\updater.exe with the open file - security warning in the middle. I press run and only then will my computer start to desktop.I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. Hey, if anyone can give me a hand with my problem it'd be greatly
appreciated. I recently built myself a new gaming rig a couple
of months back, and up until about the last week everything's
been working great. I keep getting an error message that system32\services.exe
has been terminated (either code 203 or 204, it varies), and that the
computer will shutdown in 60 seconds. Using "shutdown -a" leaves it in a
near-worthless state. I'm on Roadrunner, so I use eTrust ezArmor (what can I say,
it's free...); I've run antivirus and anti-spyware multiple times, but obviously
it's not either finding anything else, or it can't clean it. System restore
isn't working now either, every time I've tried (multiple restore points),
it tells me that it was unable to restore my system.

Hello.
I have a recent problem in that C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe shows up in Task manager when I boot the system. Sometimes it uses up all the cpu and sometimes not and it will let itself be removed from the task manager.
I have done an in depth spyware scan with PC Tools SpyWare Doctor and with SuperAnti Spyware and removed all that they found. I have also used the Kaspersky online scanner and removed the four things it found (mostly software that I had not yet installed found on the net) and one entry in the symantec quarentine folder. Symantec corporate V9.0.0.338 found nothing.

Okay, About three months ago, I got hacked HARD...permissions were changed, administrator rights were removed from my administrator accounts, etc. i was flabbergasted. THe iactually didn't bother me though until I ran a MBAM scan and found 133 viruses and spyware instances on my drive (NOT including tracking cookies!). I cleaned and recleaned, using MBAM, SuperantiSpyware, Avira, running each one in safe mode first, then loading into my normal account and running them, and finally erasing my user account and creating a new one. But even after the new user account was created with Administrator privileges, I still routinely received virus and Malware threat warnign flags from MBAM and Avira. Eventually, Avira and MBAM were disabled and Avira was "deleted" (Windows will not uninstall because the setup.exe file has been 'Changed" and won't reinstall it because I don't have "Administrator privileges" on my Administrator accounts!) even though at startup I receive an error message saying that Avira has been corrupted. The most telling issue is that antivirus and spyware/Malware scans come up clean on Safe mode scans, but using my normal account, the machine reboots. Using Superantispyware I notice that it's always during the memory test that this occurs (and in Safe Mode, it passes through this section with no issue). None of my antivirus programs will download updates, even ones I start manually, and although I have no problem acc... Read more

hi, welcome to TSG.
I don't see anything wrong with your log, except for too many programmes running!
When was the last time you ran disk defragmenter?
you have far too many start up items, use the link below to trim them down.

http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

Try trunning these tools see if they find anything and ccleaner will get rid of a lot of unnecessary files like temp files etc!
download ccleaner

http://www.ccleaner.com/
* Install CCleaner
* Launch CCleaner and look in the upper right corner and click on the "Options" button.
* Click "Advanced" and remove the check by "Only delete files in Windows temp folders older than 48 hours".
* Click OK
* Do not run CCleaner yet. You will run it later in safe mode.

go to this site and download these tools and once you get both
adaware Se 1.6 and spybot, update both of them.

Set adaware to do a full system scan and deselect, "search for neglible risk
entries". Click next to start the scan. Delete everything adaware finds.

reboot and now run spybot

Spybot: Search and destroy.

Delete what spybot finds marked in red. After updating spybot hit the
immunize button.

reboot again

Go here and download Microsoft Antispyware Beta. First in the top menu click

Hello,
So, I've got two separate, but somewhat related issues. One has been going on for a year and still hasn't been resolved (posted about it before) but I have some updated info, the other one is new.
AsHere I go ....

1. Can't Connect to the Internet
I all of a sudden could not connect to the internet. As my wireless isn't working currently, I used a wired connection. I am using that wired connection right now on my work computer that I am messaging from, so I know it isn't a modem/router issue. I have removed all the anti-spyware that I had and only installed Avast!, I re-installed all the drivers, and I contacted my internet provider. In troubleshooting with the internet provider, we tested the ping for www.google.com, which didn't work, but when we pinged the numerical ip address, it did. The same thing happened when I opened my browser. The representative said that the IP address was not being resolved by the DNS (is that correct)??? Anyways, that's where I am at - how do I resolve it so that the IP address is resolved?

2. First, for some extra background, please see the thread from a year ago that I had posted:
http://forums.techguy.org/networking/663585-wireless-issues.html
Here's what I posted initially before:
I have a Compaq Presario R3440CA with a Broadcom Wireless card. I used to be able to connect to my wireless just fine. Now when I try to 'Find network connections', the error comes up as follows:

Tried the following:

2. When I shut down, I am forced to end a strange application it says "End Program - Sample". The shut down procedure does not force this "Whatever weird thing" to close. I see from task manager that there are no Applications running.

I have googled about it and run those regedit commands

Dell XPS 1330 running windows vista 64 bit, 4 g ram, (supposed to be) 320 g harddrive

Oooooooooookkkaaaayy.... well. This is probably all my fault really. I thought I could fix stuff.... turns out I dont actually know what I'm doing and I think I may have made things worse....To start from the begining- In general, I have an issue with the hard drive... When I remove stuff, the hard drive adds gigabytes rather than removing them. It says something like '213 gbs out of 293' and and when I started I KNOW there was way more than that and I've uninstalled all the programs I added (Long story) and cleaned out the hidden files so I know for a fact there is nothing there to take up the space. I want my memory back, grrrar. Anyway...

So I was going through my control panel and deleting bloatware, you know stuff the laptop came with that I dont really need, trying to figure out the affor mentioned problem of memory adding instead of lessening and I removed this thing called 'Microsoft Games for Windows LIVE redistributeable' thinking Oh, thats just some app trying to get me to use games I dont need, lets get rid of it. BIG mistake. After that my games (Fallout 3 and oblivion, to be specific) had issues. Fallout wouldn't start, something about 'xlive.ddl' which I figured must have something to do with the microsoft games whatsit and oblivion seemed to be fine but I decided to uninstall it (just...don't ask....) and I started getting this error- setupdll/setupdll.cpp (390) PAPP:Oblivi... I have two annoying issues with my new ThinkPad X1 Tablet (Model: 20JB001DGE, running Windows 10 Pro, Build: 1709; 16299.371): When trying to create a new folder on a network share on my Synology NAS I get the error message:If I click 'Try Again' the message remains. When 'Cancel' is clicked I got the new folder with the default name 'New Folder'.Sometimes this also happens when renaming a folder or file. The only way to get rid of it, is restarting the tablet.I have already been in contact with the Synology Support. They checked the NAS, which seems to be okay. This can be confirmed by using another Windows tablet with the same Win 10 build, which can access the NAS shares and create folder without any issues.I also contacted the Microsoft Support. They adviced me to disable all non-Windows services and all auto start items.I uninstalled my Antivirus and Firewall-Tool Avast Premier, using Windows Defender only now.We also tried out different SMB configurations. (activating SMB v1 only on both NAS an PC vs. SMB v2/3, which is the recommended and more secure configuration.)Nothing of this helped so far.The tablet is connected to the DVI port of a monitor via the USB 3 Ultra Dock.Every once in a while some items are displayed larger than normal or seem blurred, for example when opening windows explorer. This screenshot should illustrate the difference. Hi all I have been trying to set up the computer for 3D animation(fully rendered) and modelling but I am trying to set it up to work as fast as it can. I am rendering a building with shadows lights etc which renders fine for pictures but takes days to render 1024*800 avi 30fps 1800frames ( yes I know thats alot but i'm trying to push the envelope). I've stripped windows down to no extra processes barebones etc. When the computer renders snimation in presentation mode i notice that processors only go to 100% when its trying to present me a realtime video image.

Heres my specs

Okay, so I've been having some annoying issues on my computer, nothing serious yet but some are concerning. Feel free to ask for more info if needed.

Issue 1: I've had some jerkiness/lag and loading issues for some of the games I play, particularly Blizzard games (all of which should be well within system specs). The prime examples:

--> When I play Overwatch, sometimes character models/audio/sprays/projectiles take FOREVER to load for the first game I play after launching the program. All player models are essentially invisible, including my own (don't see the character's weapon or even HUD), and if I fire my weapon while invisible the map will react (breakable objects break), but all of the effects are invisible (if I fire a rocket, for instance, the rocket and explosion are invisible). I can still see usernames above allied players, but enemies are completely invisible. Models load at different rates (so one hero's model might load after a few seconds while the rest take minutes, for instance), any sprays just appear as the default spray (if they appear at all), and voice lines don't work. This has lasted for an entire round before, and when that happens the "play of the game" clip will often have invisible characters in it, even if they've loaded fully by the end of the round. Additionally, even once most/all assets are loaded, if I die and respawn there is a period (several seconds) where the screen is completely black even though my character is ... Read more

However, I work from home and I need to get these issues worked out NOW...

So, I am DESPERATE for answers...

1. Main problem: I have done a full system index 273,852 files and 2 days later and my search still doesn't work. Files I know are there aren't showing up and now it's not working at all. I've had several error message, but the latest is search:query= Windows cannot find 'search:query...

2. When on certain screens, my monitor flashes/blinks and it is driving me nuts. I've read threads where the screen fades to black and back and mine is NOT doing that. It just blinks like you're blinking your eyes.

3. When using Chrome everything seems to be loading very slowly. For instance, when I click on Google or a new tab and start typing it takes a while to see the text where this didn't happen before.

I know each one of these issues probably belongs in a different section of the forum, but I'm desperate to get them fixed and QUICK, so PLEASE HELP!!!!! I'm pulling my hair out!!!

Ok well it has been a while since I posted requesting help in here. I suppose that could be considered a good thing... Anyway I checked the "Preparation Guide For Use Before Using HijackThis and Other Malware Removal Tools" thread just to double check the proper way to post in here and noticed you guys mention to use a program called "DDS". I have never used this in the past, I have always only used HijackThis but I will, for the sake of covering all my bases, included both the DDS files and the HijackThis report.Ok on to the problem at hand. I will list the problems as I remember them in the order of when they happened (hopefully, knowing my memory...) starting with the more recent problems. (1.) What has happened recently is I have noticed that my processor has been maxing out at 100% doing things that would normally not require more than maybe 20% of the processor. (2.) I have recently done some fairly major creation/deletion/moving of files in hopes of lowering the amount of junk on my computer. I have also run a defragmentation on my hard drive but it is hard to tell if it really worked because whereas in Windows XP the disk defragmentation tool gave you the ability to analyze your hard drive and then actually watch the progress as it defragmented the hard drive, Windows Vista only gives you the ability to "Defragment Now" and then all you can do to tell whether or not it is done is to stare at the little 'Vista ... Cant remove, issues reappear often, cannot get into Google.com or known sights that would be obviously safe to surf within them such as foxnews.com and other pages take forever to load or do not load at all, just plain old frustrating, java is messed and files temp downloaded from Java cannot be deleted when performing a disk cleanup, along with ipod/ ishuffle and all Apple software no longer working, so I cannot use iTunes to load songs on to them etc and I had issues deleting AVG7/ Grisoft but I finally did it via Hijack this, using OneCare which is awful, Windows XP Home SP3, I have two logs to post or forward but I was advised not to post the logs before someone asks me to, please let me know ASAP, I believe I have a serious infection, so much so that my hotmail account was hijacked a month ago so I had to change my password and the person used to send medical spam emails to many comcast.com subscribers and God only knows if he/she has stolen any of my personal and confidential information. Also bytes received are so much larger than bytes sent example rcvd 5 million (5,000,000) sent 4 hundred thousand (400,000). Please advise, I am unsure if I can give you my hotmail account via this posting or the log files pertaining to the exact issues for I am new on this site. Also if I have posted in the wrong location please help me post in the proper location. Thanks in advance.

Hello all,

I currently have a Dell computer given to me by my old employer that is running into validation/registry issues. The computer is now at my new employer since it was faster than what they originally had for me. I am assuming the computer originally had a KMS activated copy of Windows 7 Enterprise but I can't be sure. I first noticed issued awhile ago when a dialogue box saying something on the lines of I could be a victim of software piracy or something. I just closed it out and didn't pay much attention to it.

I then tried to download Microsoft Visual C++ as a program requested that I do so and I got the 0x80070005 - Access is denied error. I've researched and a bit and even bought a new copy (with CD) of Windows 7 Pro. I was a fool and thought I could just plug in the new key and it would be fine. I've tried the whole SubInACL deal and got errors so I'm not sure what I should do next.

I could do a fresh install but 1. This is now my primary work computer so I don't want to lose anything. I am somewhat scared of doing a fresh install, a restore, etc. I honestly don't know the difference all that well.

I also forgot to mention I have the original CoA and I will give that information now:
Windows 7 Pro OA

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Going to try and make this brief, "try" being the operative word here..

I have a Gateway PC running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
4 gigs of ram but obviously not all useable (yet)

Nvidia 9800GT graphics Card
Corsair 650 watt PSU
HT Omega Striker 7.1 Souncard..

Kaspersky Internet Security 2012

Basically have done a lot of upgrades on this PC with the exception of the motherboard and CPU.

Two days ago I noticed when I log into my PC, it will boot up, however shortly after, programs will begin to stop responding. Sometimes the PC will boot into a black screen, other times I get to the desktop and the taskbar clocks and just does not work, then other times as stated, will boot up, work for about 15 to 30 minutes until explorer stops responding and ultimately, everything else I try to use.

Here are some behaviors I noticed:Is probably not hardware related as safe mode does work as should no matter how long I use it
Could not install programs - when trying, would freeze or fail (in reg desktop)
One weird thing I noticed is that the hard drive activity LED will start doing a repetitive pattern when the system begins to freeze... it will light up for 3 to 4 seconds to show activity, then blink on and off, then light again for the same time, then blink.. same exact pattern over and over again.. all the while you can hear the drive making the same noise, almost as thought its "skipping" (again, safe m... There are other tools listed which may help working up to a Repair Install as a last resort before Reinstalling Windows 7 to get a perfect clean baseline reinstall which should solve anything not hardware related.

Hi, I have posted before about 4 months or so ago but I am still having problems getting rid of Roxio creative suite from my computer. When I run programs like spyware blaster and a MP3 converter program I get the loading screen for roxio saying it is going to load and then it fails. It is really a pain to always have to deal with. Plus as of recently I am unable to load Nero 8 fully on my computer without errors. I tried the demo but when I uninstalled it and tried to load Nero 8 again it would not work, there are some files missing I guess like DXbridge, Audio wave effects and one other one. I tried another install of Nero 8 and omitted the wave editor and some other features and it did load but now I get a server busy error (switch to or retry), when I try to make a cd/dvd. I can press retry multiple times and it will work but not without the the hastle!! Please can someone help me!! I have attached my hijackthis and dss log. I tried attaching the extra.txt log but it seems to fail!!

Ever since I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10, this SoftThinks Agent Service is taxing my HDD to 100% slowing things down.
This is related to Dell Backup and Recovery software. I can kill this service and that's that but every-time I start up, this happens.
As for sleep mode, I will come back to my laptop and raise the lid, hit the keys, move the mouse, nothing. I hit the power button and nothing. So I hold the power button and then hit it to boot up, so clearly there are issues in relation to sleep mode and something shutting it off. (others have posted the same)
I installed all newest Intel drivers on your site and I read 1 user stated to uninstall Intel Rapid Storage, which I did. Intel Management Engine remains as I am still trying to troubleshoot. Are you testing all these new drivers you are putting out for download? Do I need to go back to Win8.1, your site said my laptop could be upgraded.
Please advise and "do the needful".

A:Inspiron 3542 - Win10 upgrade issues - SoftThinks Agent Service utilizing 100% HDD & sleep mode/power issues

same thing here as far as the power issues. you must remove the 2 other intel things that were installed along with the Intel rapid storage
intel security assist
intel management engine something or other (cant remember the exact name)
i still have the intel graphics and chipset drivers installed without any problems. it was just the intel rapid storage stuff that caused all the power , sleep mode problems..

I reformatted my computer because after installing service pack 1 and other updates from Feb 14th my computer has been having issues getting a dhcp from my router. I have a windows 7 home premium 32 bit laptop that works just fine. I also have a ubuntu machine that pulls an address from this router and an xbox 360. From what I've read other places online it appears this is a bug with dhcp that appears some time around windows 7 service pack 1 x64. Is this update the one causing issues with the dhcp problems I'm having? Should I uninstall service pack 1 or reformat and not let windows install this? I'm a little confused as to what this problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

A:Dhcp issues and network connectivity issues since windows 7 x64 sp1

I've never heard of a service pack creating a DHCP problem.

You might want to try resetting your router either by pushing in the reset button "hold in for ten seconds" or you can reset the router from the router's service page or unplug the router for ten minutes then plug it back in again.

Just because other machines can pick up the DHCP address doesn't mean it's working correctly for all machines. Routers can limp along sometimes but the functionality becomes erratic until you reset them.

Or you can try using the ipconfig commands, such as the ones outlined in the link below.
ipconfig - Windows Command Line Utility

On my laptop which is now about 6 years old I have been experiencing a few issues. First as the laptop is so old it has seen its fair amount of system restores but one thing I have been noticing is that my hard drive space is disappearing. The laptop started with 160gb (shows how old it is) split 80gb between the different partitions but now it only has 69.5gb per partition, so does anyone have any clue how to restore the space?

The second problem I am having is with installing my printers, I have successfully installed two wireless printers on my desktop pc but when it comes to connecting to the printer I must first setup a temporary link with a usb to one of the printers but when I connect them together it does not pick it up. But if I plug other devices in then run fine, anyone got any ideas?

The last issue I am having seems to be some sort of autorun problem, for example when I insert a install disc the autorun box pops up but does not display the install and I only have the option the view all of the files so I have to find the setup application within the disc myself. Any ideas?

I know I am asking about a lot of issues but any help is appreciated.
