GPU, issue. Flickering in games.

Q: GPU, issue. Flickering in games.

Its this crazy flickering that keeps happening after playing games for a period. But when it happens in games like Skyrim, it does it in EVERY game then and windows explorer. Nothing else though. It only occurs in games like Skyrim, Tropico 5, Company of Heroes 2, Payday 2. Shadows of Mordor is another one. I have to restart my PC to get it to go away. But it comes back eventually, it usually takes like 30+ minutes to occur. Here's a gif: http://gyazo.com/8619db54132a8357122948e0bb27fed9 NOTE: It has never happened in the game on display, like I have that game at max settings and I can play it for 5 hours straight and it won't happen. ALSO, this is a VERY recent problem. I've clocked 50+ hours in Skyrim AND Payday 2 before this ever happened. One last thing, I have tried hooking up to another monitor, it occurs on that monitor as well so its not my monitor. I've tried a different DVI cable as well. I tried a fresh clean install of a new graphics driver. Specs: http://gyazo.com/2cf8050d81f429286ecf63f4e1739c26 http://gyazo.com/8560ee5315aff162dea8751e7d2c6efa
Sorry you saw this a few weeks ago. I was told it might be a over-heating problem, in which I took the card out, cleaned it and redid the thermal paste. But that didn't fix it. Another gif to help: http://gyazo.com/8a7210c1be8bcf571a21df2a8e8f57f9 EDIT: Could it be the PCI-E slot? I did have some really high temps until I cleaned it out awhile ago and redid the thermal paste. Maybe the slot was damaged?

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

I just got my GF GTX 260 C216 (Superclocked) today and love it, but I have a question and I'm not sure if it's drivers or the card. When I play COD: WAW or COD4: MW....when there is a muzzle flash or a fire...bright light, like a flare....etc....I see the screen flicker. This is the only time that it does that. This is a driver problem, isn't it? I've got Vista x64 and I'm using the new 182.50 drivers with it.

I had a GF 8800 GTX and I didn't have that problem. I just wanted to make sure it's not the card. I'm not O/Cing it yet either....just the default core/shader and memory clocks.

Thanks in advance!

A:Question About Flickering in Games With GF GTX 260....

It sounds like a driver/game issue, not a physical problem with the video card. Especially if it only happens with COD games.

Make sure you have the latest patch for the game, try changing video settings, whatever you can do software-wise to make a change.

Hi,

So my brother has a strange issue with his computer when gaming. It happens mostly in "Dead by Daylight" wherein the screen will flicker to black and recover in a space of about half a second. It can be consistent, but the pace often changes.

Strangely it seems to be 100% reproducible when changing the volume (The Windows 10 volume overlay will pop up, and it'll flicker once when it appears and once again when it goes away). It does however also flicker doing regular gameplay.

He thinks it's in a few games but it's mostly in Dead by Daylight. He showed me the Witcher 3 and the Volume control didn't affect that at least.

I couldn't find any issues with the monitor (It was on 30hz though so I put that back to 60). I connected my own Laptop to it via HDMI and whilst testing was short, I didn't have any problems. Also tried changing HDMI cables but that didn't fix it. Finally, it doesn't happen on the desktop at all. (My GPU is also nVidia, a 970m)

I get flickering and visual noise (in lines, across the screen) when I play some games. It happens when I alt-tab out of (and then back into) GTA3 and Vice City, and it happens in midnight club 2 demo and freedom fighters demo.

I have winxp pro with a GF2go video card (laptop, obviously) with the latest directx and detenator drivers.

A:Flickering and visual noise in some games

Simple solution: Don't alt-tab. Laptops are not meant for games, especially high-end games like the ones you are playing. They cause the video card to create too much heat, thus resulting in an unstable environment for the rest of the hardware, so you get odd occurences like that. You really can't expect all that much gaming performance from a laptop.

Hi, so I have had this issue for a while. It makes it intolerable to play most games and none of the things I tried until now have worked.

So the issue is that on almost every game there are graphics-related issues, they vary depending on the game but it's 100% GPU or GPU-driver related since it only started happening when I upgraded my GPU.

Issues happen in these games:
Starcraft 2: Every 6 seconds screen freezes, goes black and returns after 4 or so seconds. Sometimes computer completely freezes, doesn't react to keyboard commands and has to be manually shutdown. Sometimes game crashes, and the "driver stopped responding and has recovered" error message pops up.

Imperial glory: when you scroll to certain spots on the map, the graphics become distorted and screen flickers. If I let it flicker for about 10 seconds either the game crashes or the computer freezes and stops responding and I have to manually shutdown. If I move the view away from that spot the game continues to run normally until I scroll to that point and the same thing happens again.

Medieval total war / Rome total war: Same thing as imperial glory - certain spots on the map make the graphics distort and the screen flicker. If you let it happen it seems to go on ad infinitum.

League of legends: When the map loads, the screen freezes completely. When I ctrl-alt-del out of it and return, the game continues normally.

My first post so please bear with me.
(Note: this is also in the Hardware forum, as I was unsure where to put it.)

::The Problem::

My nVidia GeForce (64 mb) 420 MX w/TVout
(my PC is a Dell Dimension 8200, about 3 yrs old)

Warcraft 3, Rise of Nations, and any other game along those lines that I try has serious issues with my graphics card. It flickers and randomly changes plots of land to black, ect.
For instance, in Warcraft 3, the peons have black squares flickering around them, and the trees will randomly look like they are Undead trees for a few flickers.
Also, a big fact thats important is that when the computers been on for 5 minutes, this problem doesn't occur. However, when it's been on for 3 hours, it happens instantly even if you restart it.
::What I've Done::

I updated the driver for the card, my DirectX to 9.0b, and troubleshooted it completely in Windows. I reinstalled the drivers, updated bios of my PC and called the Dell tech support line. The Dell guy and I worked for a while, adjusting settings and the hardware acceleration, to no avail. He told me that it was probably not a hardware problem, just a problem with a setting somewhere, but he had no idea what I have set wrong.

::History::
In October, the moniter that came with the computer caught on fire (no joke). So I went to Best Buy and got a Sony Flatscreen LCD moniter, which is very sweet (its model is SDM-HS73, and it tends to get hot when I don't have a fan running on it).

Hi,

I recently built a new computer of my own, and I would like to run new 3D games on it. I have a Pentium III 700MHz processor with 256MB of ECC 100MHz SDRAM and an ATI Rage Fury MAXX graphics adapter with 64MB of SDRAM memory on the card. I also have a 10/40X SCSI DVD-ROM drive and a Ultra2 SCSI AV-optimized 10,000RPM hard drive. I have Windows 98 SE installed. My problems are.....

When I try to play my new 3D games, the screen will flicker many times before loading the game. It is like the video driver is adjusting the color size or the resolution before each game. After that, the newest games, that I have installed, will not play their into movies correctly. The movies seem just like my ATI DVD player that is loaded on my computer. The DVDs that I try to play are also jumpy. They pause and start again throughout the entire movie! Also, the gameplay itself, which takes so long to load, is jumpy just like the movies. And the more ships, structures, or other elements that come in the game, the worse it gets. I have tried eight different game titles, but they all have the screen flicker before loading, and all the newest(and most hardware intense) games have the jumpiness in their gameplay.

I have no device conflicts with my hardware, but in the "DirectXdiag" diagnostic program, it says that there is an uncertified driver that is loaded to control my Direct3D portion of DirectX. Can anyone help me?? Thank You

My recently bought Gigabyte 7600 GS AGP card (the passive one) is causing problems with mipmapping in every 3D game (old, new, D3D, OpenGL), although it's most evident in older OpenGL games like the Half-Life modification Natural Selection, which is the only game I play seriously, thus care the most about. When I stand still ingame, everything looks perfect, but as soon as I move, the lower half of the screen is flickering weirdly. This is something I'd normally expect when playing at 60Hz, but I play at 1280x1024 at 85Hz and tried lower resolutions at 100Hz, which all produced the same result.

I tried every driver version from 84.66 - which seems to be the first driver that supports my card and also the fastest - to 93.71 to the newest unofficial ones. I tried every single driver setting including setting everything to High Quality with Anti-Aliasing & Anisotropic Filtering on (yes, in the proper way), they all had no positive effect. I'm using the newest chipset drivers & BIOS version. I didn't overclock anything, ever. Everything on and in my PC is configured and working perfectly, there are no hardware/software/driver conflicts or defects, no unnecessary programs running in the background, no spyware, no viruses etc (just in case you might wonder). Everything is properly cooled, the GPU heats up to 55°C max, the CPU up to about 45°C max.

In short: It is definitely a problem caused either by the graphic card or the components it uses (PSU, ... Read more

Hello, I’ve got a very strange issue with several old games, and I'm trying to find a solution. I'll do my best to describe my issue.

I’m sitting on laptop, Lenovo Y580, packed with i7 quad core cpu and Nvidia Optimus system (intel hd 4000 + nvidia 660m). It’s all working on Windows 7 x64 (SP1 + All updates). All drivers are fresh and Nvidia driver is 332.21.

My problem is that in some old games (direct x 6 and 7 era) 2d elements flicker horribly, i'm talking about interface, menus and so on. 3d is ok. And that’s all only on Nvidia.

I saw this problem in several different games:

Rainbow Six (1998)
No One Lives Forever (2000)
Blood 2 (1998)
Gabriel Knight 3 (1999)

I've got a friend with the same laptop, the only different thing is that he has Windows 8 installed, no flickering. Same driver for nvidia.
I also have another friend with Nvidia Optimus laptop from another vendor and he is on Windows 7, he has flickering.
Aaaand i also found this guy in the interent with the same exact problem: https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...ents-and-fmvs/

So, i’m trying to understand what unites games mentioned above? (directx 6-7 i suppose?)
And what has changed in Windows 8, so flickering is gone?

p.s. I was able to launch NOLF and Blood 2 in window mode, flickering was gone, other games don’t have windowed mode.

p.s. i’m Russian, sorry for my English.

I also need to say that modern games run perfectly on my laptop. And also there are no flickering on Intel graphics, but it has some other issues which are not important

Hello. Whenever I try to run a game it just turns into a flickering screen that looks like this(it is not always games that is the problem):
It happens to all my games and when i exit the game somehow Its still like this(except the colors of the flickering screen change because whatever is behind it is smeared like that). But just recently i found a way to get out of the flickerring smeared screen, that is to push the "Sleep"-button and the the wake button, that makes everything normal again...but it is just so damn frustrating to have to do that every time i go into and out of a game.

Here are my specs:CPU:AMD 4200+
GPU:Inno3d 7900GS
MoBo:Nvidia nForce 570 SLI
RAM:2GB Geil
OS:Windows Vista Home(i think it is home) 32-bit

This problem has been there for a long time now but once i could just Alt+TAB out of the game and the into it again and the it would work, but if i wanted to play another game after i played CS:S for example it would not work at all.

This has probably something to do with the drivers as i get different results from what drivers i use. Right now I am using the newest drivers
.

Please help me i really hate this.If you need any more information about the problem just tell me.
I am sorry for my bad grammar becouse English is not my first language.

P.s. I have googled and searched for something similar but not found anything.

A:Games turn into a flickering smeared screen.

You stated it's not walways the games that cause this? You may have a bad heat sink fan on your graphics card. I assuming you have a graphics card. If so, pop the side off the pc and see if the heat sink fan is spinning. If it is not you will have to replace it.

The only other thing I ccan think of as of right now, do some searches for web sites on some of the games you play. They will post teaks on their site for graphics cards and best performance.

Ok I think its a problem with DWM.exe

Desktop Windows Manager, which yes I know is an integrated part of Windows; which ironically control things like Windows Aero. But, I read previously that Windows Aero could be a cause of the problem after reading about someone else who had the exact same problem, and disabling Aero resolved it. But I tried that, as previously stated... and it did not fix it for me.

Yet, I am thinking there is still a problem with DWM.exe

Ok, for example... I load up the Second Life Viewer, not even logged into SL, just with the Viewer open and sitting on its login screen, and then I load up the Task Manager and look at the list or running Processes while the Second Life Viewer is open and flickering.

Each time there is a flicker, DWM.exe jumps to a different spot on the list of running processes; like constant, non stop.. every second, the Second Life Viewer flickers, and DWM.exe jumps.

Closing the SL Viewer, and DWM.exe does not do a thing on the processes list.

With a Web Browser open like Firefox or Chrome, DWM.exe will occasionally jump around on the list as the Web Browser flickers.... but it does not seem as constant as it does with Second Life is open.

With the web browser closed... with NO "online" applications open... DWM.exe does not do a thing on the processes list.

So researching "issues and problems with dwm.exe" brought me to the following:

Hello,

Quite recently, I noticed that there were little black box flickering in my games. My GPU is an ATI 4870 HD 512 MB. I did not overclock this GPU. First, it came when I got myself Shogun 2 Total War, and then in all my other games that I played after that.

Here is a pic:

It flickers on for a split second and off and keeps coming back. I did notice though that when I alt-tabbed for a few seconds, and then came back, it took a little while before they came back.

Also, this has nothing to do with heating because the max temp that my GPU will ever hit is 50C and on idle it's 38C with a Accelero heatsink.

I thought this had something to do with the latest 11.6 update I installed, so I uninstalled and driver-sweeped my ATI driver and installed 11.5, but no luck!

Along with that, I noticed that on Youtube, when I went into full screen mode, the screen would be black BUT playing but then flash on and continue the video from where it flashed on. Also, when I got out of the Youtube full screen, the video would be playing but the image on the video would be what I saw before I went into full screen for a few seconds.

I tried reinstalling flash in chrome, but to no avail.

I am on windows 7 64 bit ultimate.

Help please!

I had tried playing Dota 2 last night with my new rig just to test how much the graphics would differ from my old one. Upon launching it, I noticed some white horizontal lines appearing in the screen and only in the game.

Researching the problem, people seems to have been complaining about the AMD series and this particular problem for a while now. But in some cases, people had already fixed this problem. I was wondering if anyone would be familiar with this and could help me with it.

The rig's GPU is a HIS Radeon HD 7850 and the monitor is a 19" LG one with only VGA. I am using a VGA to DVI converter that was included in the GPU box (the screws are a bit loose on this one so maybe this contributes to the problem?),

I already had downloaded AMD's Catalyst 13.5 but it didn't solve the problem. Currently losing confidence on AMD cards now. Probably should've bought a 650ti Boost instead. I prefer not to give up on the GPU though if possible.

A:Radeon HD 7850 has flickering lights appearing on 3d games?

See if you can tighten the screws at all, but I highly doubt thats the problem, More likely a driver problem. It comes for some and doesnt for others in AMDs case as far as I can tell.

Problem is very complex, but i'll try to write short.
Dell Inspirion 15 7559Windows 10 64biti5Geforce 960M

Short time after buing laptop everything seemed fine, but then problem arose:
0. With default drivers (shipped with system) problem doesn't occur, but game performance is awful. Witcher 3 runs with 2-5 fps. Other more demanding games also are unplayable. It looks like laptop is not using Geforce at all.
1. Right after installing Nvidia drivers all games run smoothly, including Witcher 3, but big problem arises: heavy screen flickering (only in games).
2. At first problem was easily avoided by moving screen (cover) a bit up or down. Now i have to almost completely close cover to stop flickering. But it's obviously unplayable and unusable. I clearly can see that game run smoothly when cover is almost closed, no fllickering at all.
3. Problem won't show up in some games that either use OpenGL or (probably) are less demanding for GPU (like Minecraft).
What have been done so far:
1. Different  Intel GPU drivers2. Different Nvidia GPU drivers3. Different updates via Dell Update4. BIOS Update5. Factory reset (with disk formatting)
It's all the same - without nvidia drivers there is no flickering, but performance is awful. After (any) Nvidia drivers - performance is perfect, but there is heavy screen flickering.
Help?

My current laptop is a hp pavilion dv6 us3040 (not the best laptop to game with but it does what it needs to at a point thats good enough for me at the moment. Recently my laptop fell off of my desk (about 2 1/2 feet off the ground, and yes I know this is what caused the problem). After this happened, whenever I attempted to start up my laptop with my dual screen setup it would start up fine, but after a few minutes (just beginning to open up some browsers) the main laptop screen flickered rapidly and then shut off, this problem continued a few tries afterwards but when I unplugged the dual screen I was able to open up my browsers like normal. Opening up a simple game such as minecraft though would start the problem. A few days later I fixed the problem by taking the entire laptop apart and checking to make sure everything was plugged in (everything looked fine). When I tested the laptop it was back to normal. That was a few days ago, the problem has come up again, just not as bad. I am able to run my computer normally with my dual screen setup but when I try to run something like lets say Team Fortress 2 or a simple game of minecraft while in a skype call, the problem arises again.
When flickering the screen goes from white to black to normal and repeats slowly gaining speed, stopping momentarily then gains speed. Depending on the game I am playing the moment the screen begins to flicker it begins flickering rapidly and the entir... Read more

I have noticed that my monitor has wavey type lines moving up and down (almost like interference)...I seem to get it most when the screen is dark or when loading up a game...for example I loaded up Crysis, Grid, R6V2 and all on the intro screens looked like the screen picture was split in half and you could see the join line..I have tried playing around with the res and refresh rates but not having much luck..got a 22" montior and a 8800GTX graphics card - all drivers are up to date.

A:wavey screen flickering when looking at dark pictures/games

Is it only happening in games, or is at the desktop as well?

How old is the monitor?

Have you enabled/forced VSYNC?

Hello, everyone.
The title says it all but I will be a bit more clear about this. This is a problem I have dealt with for several weeks now and I finally decided to reach out for some help.

My problems
1) if I use an HDMI cable, my screen will flicker even when I am idling. This didn't used to happen. I used VGA and DVI cables, and there is zero flickering. Issue 2 still persists though..
2) when I run certain games, there is a high chance that at one point the game will crash or more commonly get a black screen, after which it will say that NVIDIA's driver has crashed and recovered.

I have tried
- Installing a new driver, even older versions. No effect!
- Re-socketing and wiping (very little) dust off my GPU!
- Downloading a program to monitor GPU more clearly (screenshot follows)

Details
- Retail Windows 7, games, programs, etc. I didn't pirate a thing!
- I use VGA and/or DVI now (not 100% on which one >.>), but driver crashes happen in games
- Driver crashes ONLY happen in games. Not videos, no internet site I visit.
- Card is Nvidia GeForce 660Ti

Screenshot that lists maximum values of my card during a game
Note: GPU load & Power Consumption seem high. Hopefully this is helpful.

Conclusion
I would buy a new card but because my money is limited. I need your help!
Thanks so much for reading and any input.. I really need this compy to keep runnin'.

Just got my new computer so after upgrading from the old computer i decided to go and get allll those new games ive been missing out on. Load them all up and first one, QUAKE 4 looks gorgeous, graphics are fantastic and its running smooth as. Then the screen starts flickering, squares of colour/distortion appear randomly over the screen. However these squares dont transfer themselves to the sky or other stationary objects. Ive tried it with FarCry aswell and it still happens. Comp specs are:
3.2GHz
1GB RAM
nVidia 6600LE
WinFast graphics driver

Ive tried it with a different monitor as well and it still stuffs up. Running out of ideas as im about to install NVidia driver instead.
Any other suggestions????

Hello! :D

I've been seeing flickering video in Media Player Classic. It happens fairly frequently and occurs with Windows Media Player as well.
I've used both the latest build of Media Player Classic Home Cinema and the 1.60 version but the problem persists.

I also tried turning on "deinterlace" in the shaders but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

A:Flickering video issue.

have you got all your codecs installed?
try KLite

are you playing high resolution video?
Maybe your computer is not powerful enough to play it and you need a graphics card or to turn the resolution down on the videos

Problem is that the screen sometimes(not everytime) flicker. So what can be the possible reasons and what shall I do?
Note: Flickering is of very slight intensity

My laptop has had occasional problems with black flickering from day one, but now it's a pretty constant occurrence. I've done all the driver-type things but I really think it's a hardware issue, as slightly adjusting the screen often "fixes" the problem, at least for a while, and the flickering is never shown on duplicated screens. Here's mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5sxB4GO6uo  I love this laptop when it works. But seeing the hundreds and hundreds of other similar comments and videos online is making me very frustrated. Why hasn't Lenovo acknowledged this as a hardware problem? Why are so many people sending their laptop in for repairs, Lenovo keeping the laptop for a month or more, then sending back an equally faulty unit? This is my work laptop so I can't just lose it for a month anyway. It just seems so unethical for Lenovo not to issue a recall on this product or refund people who have purchased them. Has anyone found a successful workaround yet? There are lots of videos of people taking their laptops apart and having some luck with tightening screws and so forth, but even some of those posts have comments later that it only worked for a little while...

Hi All,

I'm trying to fix a flickering screen. I am pretty sure that it is a software related problem. It happened after I formatted and re installed XP professional. The reason I believe its a software issue is that it is not a constant problem. A lot of time it will be flickering and then you open up IE explorer and it immediatly stops. Then when you search something it will come back. It also sometimes happens during start-up so not sure if that means something. I have updated the BIOS based on Compaq website and updated all drivers. I should have mentioned I am talking about a Compaq Presario 2200 Notebook.

The flickering is horizontal lined where if fades dark and light. Sometimes its the entire screen other times its just near the top. Moving the position up and down has no effect on the flickering. (Another reason to think its software related). Also I don't have an external monitor to hook up to and see if it is hardware related unfortunatly.

If there is any questions I would be happy to help and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 204B LCD monitor that is flickering after being turned on from being off for more than half an hour or so.The screen appears to be very dull and flickers a bit for about a minute or two, until it "warms up" then the screen brightness and clarity becomes normal, and the flickering stops. It seems to work normally when left on indefinitely.

Is this an early sign of failure? Repairable at all? It's close to 4 years old.I paid $500 for it at the time (right before LCD prices dropped significantly ) so I'd like to get at least a couple more years out of it.

Any suggestions? Thanks for reading.

Bumped into this tftcentral.co.uk article by accident. It pretty much explains the intermittent flickering I noticed in my XPS 15 9550. DELL support could not figure that out themselves.
www.tftcentral.co.uk/.../pulse_width_modulation.htm
The temp solution was then to go to my driver colour settings and decrease the contrast and the brightness. Hopefully I will not need to change the settings again.

Hi everybody, I'm posting today because my HP 2159m monitor is flickering when I connect it via hdmi to my laptop. I have tested another monitor and a separate cord and I have determined the issue to be with the monitor it self. What I came here to find out, is where there is some sort of tweaking I need do to my display settings to get it work, or if there is a way to determine if the monitor is just burnt out. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi, I just bought the Dell Inspiron 2in1 couple of months back and started having the problem of waving / flickering of screen. This flickering is more towards right side of screen and starts from there, but with time moves on to the whole screen. After restart it disappears for some time.
When I checked the graphics setting, the refresh rate is set at 60 pHz by default. When I changed the refresh rate to only other option of 48 pHz, problem is gone for now. Can some suggest what could be the problem, whether it is a software issue or hardware problem. What is the possible fix ? Thanks

Hello, guys, as you can see in the print screens I attached, sometimes it's impossible to read anything on my screen, so forgive me if I post this on the wrong forum.

Starting this afternoon I started having a weird display issue. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit (latest SP) on Bootcamp in a Macbook Pro 13' (model 2011). Now almost always the screen is rendered illegible by some weird pixelated noise and flickering, with parts of the screen content missing (see pictures attached). As I move the mouse/type on the keyboard, sometimes the text/icon/image/whatever I'm trying to visualize appears again, sometimes not. I wasn't using the latest Nvidia drivers when it started (was ignoring the Nvidia Experience message saying that updates were available). So I thought it was a problem of outdated drivers. I updated the drivers, rebooted the system and the problem persists. When I boot the system on Mac OS, the screen is fine.

I wonder if this is some kind of virus/malware. i ran an AVG scan but it said my system was clean. Thank you very much for your help.

Sounds to me like there is a grounding fault here that is interfering with the display. Have you tried moving the screen whilst it's on (open/close~up/down) and seeing if the pattern of interference changes?

To whom it may concern
I?ve purchased Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15IKBN 80XL01NGGE last week without OS and I?ve installed Windows 10.

Unfortunately the screen started flickering and had no choice to search on the internet for a solution and find out that it is a common problem!

This laptop has NVIDIA GeForce® 940MX 4.0 GB and I?ve downloaded Nvidia_VGA_22.21.13.8554.A (17 Nov 2017) from pc support Lenovo website but it kept flickering.

Updated BIOS version from 4WCN29WW (30 Sept 2017) to 4WCN39WW (24 Feb 2018) by systemupdate5.07.0070 but still the screen kept flickering

Updated Windows version 1709 OS Build 16299.125 and again the screen kept flickering

What can I do to solve this problem because I am VERY DISAPPIONTED with this outcome?
