How/where do I determine the significance/explanation of the result code to determine if the problem is sufficient to contact warranty support? I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

What you can first try is downloading latest Intel HD 530 driver or at support page to update the current ones you have and then run video individual test to check.

Basically the error you have received is a false positive test result that was produced by the Lenovo Solution Center.  You can reduce the chances of this error occurring by using the latest version of the Lenovo Solution Center as well as the latest graphics driver that is available.

I have an X230, running Windows 10 Professional (x64) Version 1607 (build 14393.576).  My version of the Lenovo Solution Center is 3.4.002. When I try to run a hardware scan, I get a throbber ("Loading"), but the scan never loads.  It doesn't matter whether I select "Run Quick Tests" or "Select Tests"; same result. I successfully ran a scan a month ago, using an earlier version of Solution Center (3.3.003), but that version won't work now, either (same result, perpetual throbber). Solutions?

A:Lenovo T440s Hardware Scan Failure Result code: WH...

The device is a 16GB Solid State Drive (SSD) that is used by the Lenovo box to speed performance by caching frequently-used areas from the main hard disk. The error indicates a fault with the SSD (I have had the same problem on 2 different SSDs after using them for about a year each). I'm not sure why the SSDs seem to keep doing this - perhaps the write cycle count of certain blocks is reached too quickly in this environment, or maybe the ExpressCache software used for this function is not completely bug-free. You can continue to use the SSD as it seems from my experience that it continues to work, but not quite as efficiently as the faulty block(s) would mean the data there would be fetched from the Hard Disk after all. It would be good to hear more on this from Lenovo so that we can figure out the best course of action.

Hi folks, I have 6 Lenovo systems consisting of T410 and T420 series. I just freshly reimaged these systems with Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit; Ran windows update overnight; then installed Lenovo Solution Center (LSC). Upon running LSC with Hardware Scan or Snapshot of the system, it gets into "Loading" state forever (I've been leaving it for over 12 hours).  There are no USB/disc inserted into any of these machines. Anyone got any insight as to how I can get LSC scans these hardware? Cheers

Hi, I got this too with my Y700, it's down to the VGA driver rather than the hardware but it shouldn't affect any functonality so no need to worry about it. Hopefully Lenovo will issue a new driver soon to resolve it If you don't want to wait I managed to solve it by installing the most recent driver from the Intel website, please note you won't be able to run this from the .exe download, you'll need to download the zip file, extract it, and then install the driver from device manager.

To summarized the test result :
SMART Status Test Passed  ,Targeted Read Test Failed ,SMART Drive Self Test Passed for the harddrive  and WVC007000-HL0B0M for the Video test.
 
SMART test are integrity check intented for users to be alerted before harddrive crash so there would be time to perform back up and create recovery image (immediate thing I suggest you do). 
 
Update your video card driver from the support site or directly from manufacturer (intel) similar to this article for the Video card error. Review this article if you have similar symptoms and apply if needed . 
 
Run individual storage , PCIE , video and systemboard test from the support site to verify findings. Use other diagnostic tools for comparative test similar to this and this.
 
You may also review this article for possible repairs options if needed and if within warranty to call in technical support for recommendation or decode of the error message.

Windows 10 has been crashing a lot lately, so ran the Lenovo solution center and it came up with final code w1s76trem-ba1nx5.  I then ran the diagnostic from the Lenovo web site (it downloaded its own utility) but it ran clean.  I tried searching for the specific final result code and got no hits, but I see generally where people ask about codes the recommendation is to back up the drive and be ready to replace it.  Being the on-line diagnostic didn't find an error, should I be worried at this point?

A:G50-70 gets solution center code, but not one in web site diagnostics

Locate c\programdata\Lenovo\ldiag\ldiag.log  and post it here.It will show the return code for each run.The support page diagnostic module is the same routine inside lenovo solution center.

I know I am behind the times using a Thinkpad T400 with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit but I am having a heck of a time using  this machine as it constantly freezes up.  I tried running the diagnostics and it failed on the SMART tests and did not complete the remainder of the tests ie video card, etc.  The final result code was:W1UKDVUB5-QE4MD9 Does anybody know what this code means - how much trouble am I in and why is this machine freezing up all the time? Thanks for any thoughts or assistance. Lorelei

The desktop is ideacentre 700-25ISH, I bought it for less than two months and actually I was out of town for several weeks last month. It is basically brand new. I run the hardware health check from lenovo companion and got the error code WMB010000-WM7VJI. The reason that I run the test is just because the machine may power off abruptly everyday. And I once got a message like USB  port power surge after login. When the machine is down, I have no way to power it up. The only thing I can do is just unplug everything and use the desktop tomorrow.

Hi all, user of a Lenovo Thinkpad E540 here.  So, I've got a small question regarding error codes in the Lenovo Solution center. I've experienced probably 3 "Blue screens of death" during the last two weeks, and I therefore looked more into it and checked the hardware. And voila, there were some errors in the system: He's giving me the error code WMB008000-UL7XJE when he's done with the PCI/PCI-e test, the USB test and Chipset test. He's also saying that both the PCI/PCI-e test and the Chipset test failed, though the overall testing seems to have been successful... so now my question is: What does that mean for me, and should/can I do something specific to fix this? Hello folks, I have a Seagate ST9500420AS (7200 RPM) system hard disk and I just received this warning error code during the last hardware scan: W149KPQFG-HJT1SA (during SMART Short Self Test). However when I check my drive with the Seagate's SeaTools for Windows the drive looks alright with all the tests, FixaAllLong and SMART. Any suggestions? My system seems alright. I have a ThinkPad W510 4318 machine with Windows 10 Pro x64 build 15063. I have attached the system report from LSC. PS. I run the test again after a few hours and the SMART Short Self Test was succesful. Any suggestions or recommendations. I'm keeping an eye on my system drive and now will be very careful with it.

When I run a virus scan using AVG I get the message C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts change result: changed. I have attached Kappersky and DSS scan results. Do I have something to worry about? besides AVG I have SpyBot which I update and run every couple of days. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am not really having a problem but I am curious about the results of a scan by AVG Free. When my scan is complete, I get the results shown in Attach. #1. Thought I may have got an infection (sonar.heuristic.130).  So I ran numerous scans.  
Norton Internet Security A/V, Norton Power Eraser, MS Safety Scanner, ESET Online Scanner, Super-Antispyware, Malwarebytes, ADW, TDS Killer, and R Kill.

Hi guys,

I just finished running a scan with spybot search & destroy and it came back with the following result (attached a pic). The problem is that I have heard the name before coolwwwsearch which is what was picked up and I thought it must be bad but just to be sure I checked the particular files in my registry. The files all belong to a program I just recently installed called Zero popup pro which as you can guess from the name is a popup blocker. I'm not sure what to do now and was hoping someone can advise whether to ignore what spybot has found or could that popup blocker program be some type of spyware?

I have Windows XP and an AdAware scan hit on this as malware[Windows Reg Data Malware HKEY -Classes-Root:regfi Possi]. Can anyone tell me what this is? AdAware can seem to do anything with it and SpyBot doesn't recognize it . Please help.

This could possibly be a sign of a possible browser hijack attempt. If ad-aware has found it, remove it. Download, update and run spybot, post your log and I'm sure someone will be along to help you with any problem soon. Nothing to worry about though, I have had lots of possible hijack attempts.
