I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I think my pc has some real major problems and im ready to throw it out the window.

Recently it has just stopped allowing me to google search. If I know the web page I can go directly to the address bar and type it in but if I tried to search that same address in google or any other search engine I get the above error. I honestly think this pc has been infected by something. I have completely uninstalled msn, mind you the kids are not happy by that move but I just have no idea what is wrong with our computer anymore.

I have tried using these programs to fix the issues and I use AVG anti virus protection:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Dr.Web CureIt!?
Combo Fix by bleedingcomputer.com

If you have any advice for me other than chucking it out the window, please let me know!!!

Thanx in advance

I've been an active member on a design forum for the past year with the same username and password. This is what's happening now --

I go to the website, type in my username and password then click the Submit button. The page starts loading and then I get this: HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. I kept refreshing but still got the page error. The owner, administrators and developers had no clue why that popped up all of a sudden, so they checked my browser settings, upgraded Firefox, deleted cookies, cache and history.

I then went back to the site to try and log in again and noticed I was online. I tried to navigate through the site and access my account but couldn't. It was like I was there but wasn't. The Sign In button was still showing as if I wasn't online and hadn't log in at-all.

I thought maybe it was my computer doing something on its own so I created a new account and password. The new username and password logged me on successfully.

My question is... why am I not able to log in on my original ID and password but can login using the new one. Some really weird stuff going on.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can log into my secure site then when trying to go beyond that, it seems to take along time ("timeout"?) to get to the next secure page. When it finally does I click to access my personal files and instantly I get the error message. I have tried to figure out when this started but it has been a while since trying to access this site. I have read that update 831167 for ie6 corrects this. I have ie7 and cannot put that update in as I get warnings that I don't have ie6 sp1 installed. Also, I have reset the settings in security and enabled all cookies.
Also, I have tried the microsoft "fix it" for the registry and needed to use my XP CD. Still not working. This is bugging me as I was able to use this site 6 months ago.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just installed ATA centre on a domain joined Server 2019.  Ran through the wizard selecting the paths to install and the certificate I created etc.
Once the installer completes, I click launch, bypass the "This site is not secure" message, and then I get the HTTP500.  Browser is IE
ATA service is running, MongoDB is too.
Tried uninstalling and re-installing then using the self signed cert = same results.
I have done a massive amount of googling, but not come across any help.

A user is trying to access an internal Sharepoint site in our business domain.

When using the regular address, we get the HTTP error 500. If we type the fully qualified domain name, we get error 403; The Website Declined to Show This Page.

We can access the site through firefox, but Sharepoint does not work optimally through that browser.

We logged into the same computer as a different user on the domain, and could access sharepoint just fine. We also tried logging into sharepoint using the first user's credentials, but logged into the domain as the other user, and could access it.

We have done the hard reset of IE7, as well as deleted all the certificates, etc.

Anyone have any idea's?

I am managing a network of about 10 PC in my bro's office.

I am using a Windows 2000 advance server as the network main server, with two network cards installed. 1st card is connected with the switch of Local Area Network and the 2nd card is connected with a direct broadband line of 256 internet connection and with a public static IP address.

I have installed a Local Mail Server (Share Mail Pro) to collect all the emails from internet and to send out all emails coming from local users to internet.

My, bro is a traveler and I have configured pop3 & smtp of Outlook Express in his laptop to use the public static IP address of our main server and he can connect and receive all his emails from our Local Mail Server with an internet connection anywhere.

Now I am thinking of setting up a Linux Firewall Server to connect the direct broadband line of 256 internet connection and giving it the public IP address to increase the security in our network. Then the Windows 2000 advance server which I have already setup would be the secondary server which will be controlling our network with the Local Mail Server.

My question is, will my bro be able to check his email now from our Local Mail Server? as now the public IP address will be in the Linux Firewall Server. I want to keep the public IP address in the Linux machine but, also would like to be able to access our Local Mail Server from anywhere through internet.

Can anyone give me a suggestion of how to achieve this and wha... Read more

Hi there,

I have query regarding a wireless router. My internet connection setup consists of an ADSL modem (D-link DSL-320T) connected via an Ethernet cable to a wireless router (D-link DIR-615). My network appliances in turn connect to the router wirelessly.

Originally, I had the modem connected to the DIR-615 wireless router (***model = H/W ver: B2; F/W ver: 2.21). However, when the router ceased to function, I replaced it with another DIR-615. Note, that the new model was: H/W ver: D4; F/W ver: 1.00 VG.

After this point, I have had a problem in accessing web pages stored on my web server (which connects to my router via a wireless bridge and also acts as an FTP server). When accessing these pages over the internet on a remote terminal, they are very slow to load this is the case on all the web sites that I host and not just one.

Note that accessing files works at normal speed over the internet via FTP using an FTP client or simply connecting to the FTP server using a web browser.

Whilst my port forwarding settings on the new router are the same as they were on the old unit, I was wondering what the issue might be that is causing these problems? Are there any settings on the new router that can be altered to deal with this problem issue?

Any suggestions are welcome!
Kind regards

A:Problem Accessing Web Server via HTTP After Changing Wireless router

I should also add that I've just tried to connect by web/ FTP server directly to the router via an Ethernet cable.

After doing this, I attempted to access my web pages over the internet on a remote terminal. In this instance, the web pages appeared to load at the normal speed.

Therefore, it appears that the problem issue mentioned in the first post is concerning the wireless connection between the router and the wireless switch (which is what the web server is plugged into).

The model of wireless switch is: Netgear WGPS606.

I am having a problem getting into Yahoo Mail. When I go through the 'forgot your password' process, I am able to get into the mail system. But invariably, the next time I go to access the program, my new password won't take and I have to go through the whole process again. Invariably I get a message in red text :

'Invalid ID or password. Please try again using your full Yahoo! ID.'

In fact I am using my full yahoo id, even though it used to be unnecessary to use the '@yahoo.com' after the id. So I don't think that is the issue.

If someone could help me with this problem I'd appreciate it.

I am using IE on Windows XP, with all the latest updates to the Windows that you can find. Now, the problem is when I access Yahoo's mail. It oftentimes refuses to load and this is very very irritatiing especially when I need my mail fast.

Note that this only happens on one PC. It usually has no trouble accessing it the first time after rebooting. But after I log off Yahoo, and then try to sign in again, it is almost always the case where I cannot get to into the yahoo mail site again.
jI suspect there may be some corrupt files or java scripts which fail to initialize properly in my PC. In that case, I would have opted to delete it, but how do I find it? This bugs me as I have turned off the browser's capabilitu to keep any history.

Any advice would be qppreciated.....

I am approaching members for your comments and guidance for a critical problem I am facing recently with my e-mail account [email protected] in Yahoo. I was using the above e-mail ID and the account IN box as the main mailing account. Till the end of last month or the beginning of this month [ie, July 2013] I was operating the account without any problem from the year 1994 or so. But of late I am denied accessing the said e-mail account and also the yahoo messenger I used to use with that e-mail ID. If I remember rightly, last month, I found a mail of caution from Yahoo customer service that there is some report to be given by its members regarding some upgradation of the personal accounts by the members and that the existing maild ID will be made inaccessible after a particular date. If I recollect right, I think I have taken action as mentioned in the instruction of the customer care.
After that, I found that I am unable to sign in to the account. Also by following the procedures for reporting the incident to Yahoo, I was allowed to scan through the In box of my account but was unable to find any new incoming mails in its In box.
It was also noticed that all my contacts along with their phone numbers and their address are deleted from my Address Book.
Would you please be able to help or advice me to retrieve the same account and activate as before as I had saved & stored many important personal and official mails in this account. Also I found my access to the yahoo... Read more

A:Http 500 Internal error

This problem occurs because there is an error processing the ASP script ,and "Friendly HTTP error messages" (error 404 messages) are enabled in Internet Explorer which do not allow you to see the details of the problem.
To find out the real cause of the error:
Open Internet Explorer, Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab.
Uncheck Friendly HTTP error messages

Refresh the page and you should get the real error message and line number of the error.

I have a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine. I can connect to remote shares by IP address, but not by name. If I do a Start, Run, \\computer it says "The network path was not found."

There is no server on this particaular network -- it's all peer-to-peer, and I've enabled NetBIOS for good luck. Nothing. I cannot ping the other machines by name, either. All other machines in the network run fine.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling components of Network Connections, and TCP/IP is the only protocol installed. I have confirmed that all of the computers are in the same subnet and same workgroup.

There is no firewall software installed on the machine, apart from XP SP2, and I've disabled that.

Hello grungegrunge and Welcome -
We have found that spigot is now downloaded with IObit programs secretly.
Are you aware of having any IObit programs, like Advanced System Care and others installed ??
If you do have these installed, please remove them and use their uninstaller program.
Now try to Reset your home page(s) to what they were.
If you still have problems start with avast! cleanup tool to remove their toolbar.
Now - Download Autoruns to your desktop
Double click on Autoruns exe.
Allow the program to fully populate (this will take a few minutes)
Go > File > Save > Save as Autoruns.txt > File Type > All Files
Save to Desktop
Copy and Paste the Autoruns.txt back here
From here I can help you delete any remaining entry that may cause problems -

It is possible that this error is caused by an Adobe Flash Player, I am finding out that an upgrade is recommended, . . .

however, it would be helpful if the system requirements were a little more clear to me, . .

Windows? Macintosh Linux?
Intel? Pentium? II 450MHz, AMD Athlon? 600MHz or faster processor (or equivalent)
The Processor stats are; x86 Family 6 Model 11 Stepping 1 GenuineIntel ~1395 Mhz

500 Internal Server Error

Can anyone help me out? I'm truly mystified by this error. Certain sites I can log onto and some not. There is no reason (that I would be prohibited) I can't log in to these sites, just out of the blue.

I tried restarting etc. to no avail.

I have an Apple Tiger OS but I don't think that necessarily pertains to this problem isn't it a network thing would it be my carrier?

nginx is a a web server software. It is not very popular and used by only a small percentage of sites. Unfortunately, due to the small size and portability of this web server, it is used widely by cyber criminals.

If you are getting this error on many many sites of a wide range., then you have to worry as it is highly unlikely that so many sites are running on nginx.

I would start by checking the DNS servers and proxy servers setting of your browser, OS and the router.

Can you visit other sites, or is it just that site?if it is just that site, it may be down temporarily or just down completely. It is most likely the website, here is info I found..."500 errors in the HTTP cycle Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle when it communicates with your Web server: * Obtain an IP address from the IP name of your site (your site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs). * Open an IP socket connection to that IP address. * Write an HTTP data stream through that socket. * Receive an HTTP data stream back from your Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information. This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '500'.Resolving 500 errors - general This error can only be resolved by fixes to the Web server software. It is not a client-side problem. It is up to the operators of your Web server site to locate and analyse the logs which should give further information about the error.Resolving 500 errors - CheckUpDown Please contact us (email preferred) whenever you encounter 500 errors on your CheckUpDown account.
