Macro to email centain range in body of email as well as the whole workbook

Q: Macro to email centain range in body of email as well as the whole workbook

Hello, I'm just joined and am trying to create a macro that will automatically email an entire workbook to a list of individuals. I also want the macro to copy and paste a range of cells within a specific sheet in the workbook and paste it into the body of the email. I am able to email the workbook but can't figure out the second part. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Excell 2007 and LotusNotes 8.5.1

Preferred Solution: Macro to email centain range in body of email as well as the whole workbook

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Macro to email centain range in body of email as well as the whole workbook

Hi, welcome to the forum.
There are several posts where I added some simple tips and tricks.
Do you have the macro you use now to mail the whole workbook?
If I see how you have done this then maybe it's a cinch to add the extra info
You may also post a workbook with fictious data if you wish

Dear Friends,

I have prepared a macro which sends email to recipients whenever a project is due or will be due. For which i have set criteria of +3 i.e. if project is due on 19-Nov-16 then excel will show alert 3 days before 19 nov.
In macro i have put plain text in body due to which there is no identification to whom it has been sent or to whom it has been addressed.

What is required, which i am unable to get it in this forum.

Expected result: i want mail body to be like this whenever macro is run:
Currently i am unable to put code for below example

Dear <Name of the person handling project>
Your Project <Name> is due on < uat due date> and needs attention.
Kindly ignore if already done and update in sheet.
Data to be captured by macro:
Project name you will get in column D i.e. description
Person handling project in column P
uat due date mentioned in column I

Please help.. thanks in advance.

A:Email to recipient with details in Mail Body using macro

Please try the attached, see how it works for you in, note that the email will be generated as soon as you open the workbook.

Also note:

1) I am using column N to look for "Send Reminder" in order to generate the emails, this is because you have done the hard work will the formula so don't really need to dynamically change and check the dates with code.

2) If you want the emails to be sent automatically without being displayed, you can change .display with .send

Let us know how this works for you.

My first post, sorry to be a leech right off!

I'm trying to automate some of my day to day emails. I'd like to get a macro set up that will send an email from Excel and paste the range I select in to the body of the email. Would be great if it would send to a list of addresses listed on the page as well.

Using the attached example, I'd like the macro to take whatever range I highlight on the table, copy it to the body of an email and send it to the group of emails listed on the right side.

I'm learning excel, this would help me a lot! I'll be editing this to fit a variety of other tasks. I hope it can be flexible. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about posting in this forum, I see no suitable forum and therefore I may as well post in the busiest.
I am looking for an email provider which allows both filtering by keywords in the message body and also has email forwarding.
This is because I am trying to filter out spam emails from one email address however the email provider (hotmail) cannot filter by message body.

Therefore I will need to forward emails to this new email address (by another provider which I need suggestions of) and have these emails filtered by message body and forwarded back to the original email address. I know that all email incoming from this new email address will be filtered emails and hence can set a rule to redirect them to another folder.

I have tried yandex which is the only I have found which claims to offer these facilities but no emails appear to be appearing in the inbox.

I have an email I get on a regular basis that I can see who it's from and the subject line but the body of the email is blank. I have problems with it in WLM but I can view it just fine in web mail and from my iPhone. Not sure if it's an issue on the end of the person who's sending it or an issue with WLM but since I can view it completely in web mail and on my iPhone I would think it's something with WLM. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

A:Body of email not showing in one particular email in Windows Live Mail

Hi, I finally was able to talk with someone from the place that was sending the email in question I was having issues with. They found out their emails are not compatible with WLM but are working on a resolution. I'm not sure what kind of email service they're using but it's not like WLM is some obscure mail client. Anyway, I'm marking this as solved even though I've received a few emails from them since and still having the issue of nothing in the body of the message. Now that they've figured out what the issue is I hope they fix it soon.

I have a word document that includes a form the user must fill in. I want to create a button that will do all of the following:
1. Update all fields
2. Attach the updated word document to an email
3. Enter an address I have stored in the macro into the To field of the email.

I have one module which does the first part:
Sub CommandButton1_Click()

For Each oStory In ActiveDocument.StoryRanges
If oStory.StoryType <> wdMainTextStory Then
While Not (oStory.NextStoryRange Is Nothing)
Set oStory = oStory.NextStoryRange
End If
Next oStory
Set oStory = Nothing
End Sub

I found that if I add this to the before End Sub it attaches the updated Word document to an email:
Application.Options.SendMailAttach = True 'Or False

However, I can't figure out how have it put a specific address into the To field of the document.

So I tried another tact. I have the email address as a hyperlink in the document, and set a bookmark at the hyperlink. Then I created a module that will go to the bookmark and open the hyperlink. However, this will not add the document as an attachment:

Sub Open_Hyperlink()
Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="hyperlink"
With ActiveDocument.Bookmarks
.DefaultSorting = wdSortByName
.ShowHidden = False
End With

Selection.Range.Hyperlinks(1).Follow NewWindow:=False, AddHistory:=True

Dear Guyz

If Cells(lRow, "N").Value >= 5 And Len(Trim(Cells(lRow, "P").Value)) > 0 Then ' check if the months passed are >= 5 (same as the red conditional formatting)
If Len(Trim(Cells(lRow, "O").Value)) = 0 Or (IsDate(Cells(lRow, "O").Value) = True And Month(Cells(lRow, "O").Value) <> Month(Date)) Then

I want to add another line from another macro

Hello Everyone

I am having some difficulties finding a solution to my problem. I am hoping someone can help or lead me to the right direction.

I have a workbook called Data.xlsm, below is a sample:

ID, Name, commission
1 john 1000
2 eric 2000
3 ryan 3000

Now I have another excel file called Temp.xls which looks pretty much the same as Data.xlsm.

ID, Name, Commission
1 john 200
2 eric 300

I need a macro that will read the Temp.xls and grab the commissions and bring them to Data.xlsm. The commissions need to be summed based on ID.

The final Result on Data.xlsm should be as follows:
1 john 1200
2 eric 2300
3 ryan 3000

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

A:Solved: Excel Macro - Upload Workbook value from Another Workbook based on ID

Just a quick and dirty solution

Make sure you place this in the same folder as your Temp.xlsm file and press the button

It will open Temp
update the data, if a new Id is in Temp it will add the data and set the commission values in Temp to 0 to avoid running it twice.

I hope the code explains itsefl.

Think of a macro of a step by step instrcution as you would say it out loud.

Hi There
I have searched the internet to see if I could find a macro that opens a workbook and runs a macro. In other words, I have workbook 1 (master workbook) and workbooks 2,3,4 ...1000. So far I found a macro that opens workbooks 2, 3, ...1000 by running a macro from workbook 1. Now I have a macro in workbooks 2,3,....1000. What I want is to run the workbooks 2,3,...1000 macro from workbook 1. I can do it if I call the workbook name. But I don't want to do that, since I have over 1000 workbooks. Below is the code.

Set fldStart = fso.GetFolder("C:\Users\Mario\Documents\Folder1 Name\Folder2 Name")
Mask = ActiveCell.Value
thisFolder = fldStart & IIf(Right(fldStart, 1) = "\", "", "\")

Subject: FW: And then the fight started........

My wife sat down on the settee next to me as I was flipping channels. She

I said=2C 'Dust.'

And then the fight started...
My wife and I are watching "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" while we were

"No=2C" she answered.

I then said=2C "Is that your final answer?"

So I said=2C "Then I'd like to phone a friend."

Not sure where to begin on this one.

A clients outgoing emails have started ditching the body text before arriving at the recipient end. Everything else arrives, attachments etc.

They use Outlook 2003 on Win 7. The problem happens rarely but enough to make it embarrassing and it can apparently happen with any recipient.

I could start troubleshooting but they are heavy users of email and pretty much anything I do will cause chaos.
I did however try switching off html and that seems to have helped... but why???

Many thanks in advance!

A:Email body mysteriously disappearing!

The culprit might be any application or plugin that "filters" their mail, probably an antivirus. There are known problems with AVG producing blank email bodies for example, it also happens with NOD32 and probably others. Keep in mind this could be on both ends.

Searched everywhere so I hope someone here can help.

I use WLM as an email client only to download my Yahoo emails.

I recently converted some 2000 old AOL emails into .eml format.

The problem is that when I import these into WLM by any means, some (about 20%) have blank email bodies.

Body is blank if
If I bring it into WLM via import, drag and drop, exporting from Windows Mail and importing into WLM the body is blank both in the reading pane and if opened from within WLM (but it can be viewed in the message source)

but Body is visible if
1) I open the email by double clicking on the .eml file, the body is there.
2) If I import the imail into Windows Mail (via import, drag and drop or copying into Windows Mail folder (User\username\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folder\Inbox), the body is there.
3) If copy the file into WLM User\username\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Yahoo\Inbox, the body is there - BUT the From and To are both the Sender with inverted commas around and if I export and re-import the body is gone - so I'd have the problem again with any new computer

So the email body exists but can't be seen in WLM! Can anyone shed light on why the body is invisible inside WLM and how I can get it to show?

By the way, the invisible emails I've checked have Content-Type: multipart/mixed or multipart/alternative. Could this be a clue? But recent multipart not-imported emails show up fine....

In hotmail, when I try to reply to an email or forward an email, the full header is in the email body. I've tried to delete the full header but then the part of the email I want to send doesn't show. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A:HIding full header in email body

I only get the short heading (Date, From, To, Subject), so you must have something set to view the full header.

No matter, I can't understand why you can't delete or edit just a portion of the included message and header.

Hi all,

I need to automatically forward an email onto another account (using a rule), however, i need this to strip out the body of the email and only leave the subject and the attachment.

Im guessing i need to do this in VBA as a script on the rule, however, Ive tried a few (basic) options but cant master anything that remotly works.

Are you able to assist?

Hello everybody!!!

I have a client that has a windows 2000 Pro Laptop. He uses worldclient (V 9.0.4) as his email address. When he sends me an email it has a subject. It does not however have a body. Even though he types a body in. It's a computer specific problem. All other PC's he uses are able to be sent with the body of the email.

Any ideas?

I have been using Windows Mail for about 6 months with no problem, then suddenly the body of my emails has disappeared. When I open Mail with the preview pane the title detail in the top right pane looks normal, however the detail in the bottom right pane says "Message cannot be found
The contents of the message cannot be found
Windows Mail"

Is it possible to recover this information

Any suggestions gratefully received

A:Allign excel code in email body?

Wel your code is unreadable.
But the alignment is a know issue.

You will have to try it by trial and error.

You van include a tab Chr(9) in your text to create tab stops but the probelm is that spaces will sthow alignmnets off.

I suggest you first pass the variables to a String variable with the layout as you would like to have it.
There is no right of Left alignment, all is left so values are not exactly in nice table form.
Before 'mailing' you can display it in a msgbox to see what it looks like (if it's not too large)

I am using "click to conver" program that converts Word coucments to HTML, and to send resulting page in body of email, I double click on the icon that would go into Outlook Express email body. But the recipient would get the email with text separated from the graphic portion. The HTML after conversion is in a folder and I click on the file "body" to get the msg to Outlook.
How do I resolve the issue? Also I notice that the graphics in the reciviing end showed up less sharp.
Any suggestions?

Try using a different browser e.g if you are using chrome to check your email, use firefox and see if it occurs. Also clear your browser history
