Solved: Multiple Internet Issues - Can't connect to website and wireless issues

Q: Solved: Multiple Internet Issues - Can't connect to website and wireless issues

So, I've got two separate, but somewhat related issues. One has been going on for a year and still hasn't been resolved (posted about it before) but I have some updated info, the other one is new.
AsHere I go ....

1. Can't Connect to the Internet
I all of a sudden could not connect to the internet. As my wireless isn't working currently, I used a wired connection. I am using that wired connection right now on my work computer that I am messaging from, so I know it isn't a modem/router issue. I have removed all the anti-spyware that I had and only installed Avast!, I re-installed all the drivers, and I contacted my internet provider. In troubleshooting with the internet provider, we tested the ping for www.google.com, which didn't work, but when we pinged the numerical ip address, it did. The same thing happened when I opened my browser. The representative said that the IP address was not being resolved by the DNS (is that correct)??? Anyways, that's where I am at - how do I resolve it so that the IP address is resolved?

2. First, for some extra background, please see the thread from a year ago that I had posted:
Here's what I posted initially before:
I have a Compaq Presario R3440CA with a Broadcom Wireless card. I used to be able to connect to my wireless just fine. Now when I try to 'Find network connections', the error comes up as follows:
Windows cannot connect to this wireless connection. If you have enabled another program to manage the wireless connection, use that program. If you want to configure the wireless connection, start the Wireless Zero Configuration service. For info on starting the WZC, see article 871122 in the Microsoft database.
So, I followed what the article said, and get the Error 1068 that the device failed to start.
I've checked the driver of my wireless card and it is updated. I don't know if a previous Anti-Spyware program I downloaded may have messed up my wireless connection.

When I contacted the repersentative for my internet provider about my previous issue, I asked them about that too. What they said, is that there is some program or file that is preventing the Wireless Zero Configuration from connecting using a wireless connection.

I know that this is alot, but I hope that someone can help!!! Thanks in advance!

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Here is my situation, it's probably something that is easily solved but I am not good at networking....

My laptop will not connect wirelessly to my home wireless internet. I recently had to reinstall windows on the laptop and reset wireless router (changed ISPs).

My laptop will connect to other wireless networks with no issues (school, work, in-law's place).

My PS3 has no issue connecting to my home network either - in fact, the re-initialization/ recognition of the wireless internet on the PS3 was a breeze (why can't it all be that simple)?

I am assuming that there is some setting or something I am not correctly configuring that is preventing the laptop to connect to only the home network but have no idea what it could be since it will connect other places and the PS3 connects.

I have a Netgear Wireless Router WGR614.

Please help!

Fixed the issue last night. I changed the security on the router from WPA-Psk to WPA and now the laptop connects with no problems.

I didn't get any replies but thought I would post the solution anyway in case some one else has the same issue.

I have a Lenovo notebook running Win XP SP2 that had/has some malware that caused among other things - boot issues where the computer would hang during boot at random points, search engine hijacks, wouldn't allow AV or MBAM to be installed or run, 100% processor use, no access to MS or Windows Update. I had to run in safe mode and prevent any boot loading to get MBAM to run to at least get to this point. What remains is the 100% processor issue (occasionally) and the inability to get to Microsoft Update. When trying to get to MS Update the browser just hangs.

I have included the MBAM logs as well as the other requested logs.

Hi all,
My laptop connects to my home wireless network without any issues but whenever I try going online via Firefox/IE, I get a message saying "unable to connect, problem loading page". My other wireless devices can all connect to the internet without any issues so the problem is isolated to this one laptop.
I've gone into the command prompt to check the ipconfig /all information and the IP addresses, DNS info, and gateways all check out. I can ping google.com successfully from the problematic laptop. I've tried to reboot in Safe Mode with Networking and the internet works in that instance. So I believe there's something running upon normal startup that's preventing me from accessing the internet through my browser. But I have no idea where to start.
The problematic laptop is running WIndows XP (SP2). Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

First thing you should do, IMO...install SP3 and all the critical updates that have been disseminated since SP3. Then... Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it. Checkmark the following checkboxes:  List last 10 Event Viewer log  List Installed Programs  List Users, Partitions and Memory size. Click Go and paste the content into your next post. Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 , taking care to post the link. Louis

Hi all,

This is my first post, I've been reading lots on here regarding wifi adapters, etc... but found this must not be a common issue.

I bought a Netgear 600 N then took it back assuming it was the problem, now I'm having an identical issue with an Asus 600 wifi adapter. All other devices work fine all over the house, including a laptop always on and in this same room. This PC however, has W7 and I have to restart it every hour or so because the wifi stops. The strange thing is, it remains connected to the router but says there's no internet (which I know there is as everything else works fine).

Anyway, the reason I have to restart the whole PC is that when this happens, if I attempt to click/open anything to do with WiFi using the utilities or windows wifi, it crashes and freezes up, task manager won't close it either.

All drivers are upto date, etc... it's definitely something with the OS and not the adapters, router, or drivers.

Any ideas?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. I took my laptop to a friend to put some software on it and she tried to connect it to her work's ethernet cable and it never would connect. Before that, my wireless at home worked fine. After that, I have not been able to connect to any websites. The wireless connection says it is connected and has a very strong signal. My husband's laptop connects fine to our wireless. I am running Windows XP Professional SP 3. I have tried running the diagnostic check and it says everything is fine, but I still cannot connect to a website when I pull up IE. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I appear to have a couple of nasty bugs. The most obvious symptom is a pop-up ad that appears every five to ten minutes with the following text (misspellings preserved from original):

Warning! Potential Spyware Operation!

Your computer is making unauthorized copies of your system and Internet files. Run full scan now to pervent any unathorised access to your files! Click YES to download spyware remove ...

There are myriad other symptoms, some of which are temporarily alleviated by running Ad-Aware or Spybot:

Nothing fixes
* pop-up message above
* unable to get Norton Anti-Virus to run
* links from Google search results redirect to a random search page or File Not Found error (this can be avoided by right-clicking and selecting Open Link in New Window)

Alleviated by Spybot/Ad-Aware until restart
* home page in IE changed from about:blank to www.google.com
* access to symantec.com blocked
* cannot access Control Panel->Properties
* cannot access Properties by right-clicking on Desktop
* cannot access Windows Security Center
* cannot run regedit

I have run a Panda scan and can provide those results if necessary (it found 28 Spyware programs, 1 dialer and a couple of other things). Below are my results from running HijackThis. I have also attached the "extra.txt" file.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Two days ago I had a wireless internet system installed in my home. The provider installed a dish on the side of the house which sends and receives wireless broadband to a cell tower on a nearby mountain. From the dish a cable is run into the house and the dish cable goes into a Linksys 2.4 g router. Running speed checks from speedtest.net shows I get the speed. But the consistency of the wireless system is woeful. On uploads, the upload will stop for several minutes before starting again. On downloads or browsing, I go to many pages where I get the "page not found" message and have to hit "refresh" several times to see the page. As a guess, I would say I have an issue like the above every five minutes with this wireless system.

Is this kind of poor performance normal for the setup I have?
Is there any way to fix this issue?
Is the issue an issue that the provider should be able to fix?
Is there any way I can track or graph what is going on with this wireless system over time (i.e. is there software that will continually monitor the performance and show me the times when the system is not responding? Using a graph or some kind of monitoring readout I can at least get the provider to admit there is an issue.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

So, I'm trying to set up a LAN to share my wi-fi internet from my laptop (OS: Vista Home Basic) to my desktop (OS: XP Pro SP2). Everything seems alright, I'm using a hub to link the two computers via ethernet, I activated ICS in laptop's Wireless Connection, its Local Connection automatically fixed its own ip as to act as gateway, and then I configured the desktop's Local Connection to match that gateway ("Use the following IP:" IP Address: / Mask: / Gateway: | "Use the following DNS:" Primary DNS Server: The desktop even shows an "Internet Gateway" under Network Connections when it's all done, saying "Wireless connection in LAPTOP - Connected".

The only downer is that, when all these things are set up and everything seems to be fine, both computers have zero connectivity. I can't ping, can't browse.. Sometimes in the laptop's Network Connections, both the wireless and the local connection Connectivity show as "Local access only", but other times the wireless even says "Local and Internet Access" (while the local says nothing, and its status is just "Active" instead of [un]identified), but still, the effective connectivity keeps being unexistent.

The only way to make laptop's connection work again after that is disabling local connection and/or disabling ICS.

Hi everyone,

I am new here. I work at home for a large company via their secure website. For the past few weeks, there have been many times that I cannot get on the company's website (based in Internet Explorer). The website doesn't connect at all. During these times, I can access all other websites without any problems, so it is not a problem with my internet connectivity. The company keeps telling us that the problem is "an internet backbone routing issue" and there is nothing that they can do about it. My question is if this is really legit? Can there really be an issue that only affects my ability to access that one specific website while still being able to access all other websites without problems? I've checked my download and upload speeds through my ISP (I have a Road Runner cable connection) and they both looked good during these times. They claim that they can do nothing about this problem, but it has occured every day this week. Could it be some sort of problem on their end with their servers being overloaded or something? We are paid on production and don't get paid for downtime when their website is down. Is there anything I can do about this to prevent it from happening on my end? Thanks so much for the help!

I have tried changing everything I have found suggested around the internet for both my router and the computer. I am not to familiar with Vista as I use XP at work and BSD or Linux on my personal computers, so maybe I am overlooking something simple. I can connect to other networks, and neither my wife nor my daughter have issues connecting w/ Vista here (anymore, after I got them both up). I also have no problems when using a physical connection to the router.

When i try to troubleshoot through windows it gives tips for a weak signal even though that is not the problem. I was trying to keep Vista on here in case my wife needs to use my computer or for a couple work things.

I have the 16 GB, dual hard disk, i7-6500u, 2560x1440 version.Everything is from official HP downloads.I am experiencing 3 issues:1) the most important: very often, everything stops working (no mouse, no keyboard, ...) for about two seconds, then the screen goes black, then, after one second, everything recovers and a message states that the video driver crashed and was recovered. If I open Facebook in Chrome and show a picture, a vertical line of random pixel appears about 1.5 cm from the right border of the screen. If I open Firefox, almost always I get artifacts on the tabs in the upper part of the window.2) the most boring: my bluetooth mouse stop working all of a sudden. Turning off and on the mouse doesn't fix. I can fix this issue only by resetting the PC or by putting it in standby mode by closing the lid.3) the least frequent: wireless connection is dropped while other devices continue accessing the router flawlessly multiple times in a raw.Is this a driver issue or is the motherboard that needs a fix?

So I have a brand new computer (home build) running Windows 8.1 and a brand spanking new USB wireless adapter (Trendnet N300 dual band). I installed the adapter from its disc on Friday and used it fine all night. Wake up Saturday and I'm getting 'limited connection' when connected to my home router.

After a lot of playing, updating the drivers for the adapter, updating Windows, playing i n command prompt...it now won't connect to the router at all.

I'm currently connecting via a bridged ethernet connection to my Macbook.

Extensive googling just isn't turning up a solution, and if anything seems to have made it worse seeing as the adapter can't even connect to the router now! This also seems to be a common problem with Windows 8.1?

Okay, so I've been having some annoying issues on my computer, nothing serious yet but some are concerning. Feel free to ask for more info if needed.

Issue 1: I've had some jerkiness/lag and loading issues for some of the games I play, particularly Blizzard games (all of which should be well within system specs). The prime examples:

--> When I play Overwatch, sometimes character models/audio/sprays/projectiles take FOREVER to load for the first game I play after launching the program. All player models are essentially invisible, including my own (don't see the character's weapon or even HUD), and if I fire my weapon while invisible the map will react (breakable objects break), but all of the effects are invisible (if I fire a rocket, for instance, the rocket and explosion are invisible). I can still see usernames above allied players, but enemies are completely invisible. Models load at different rates (so one hero's model might load after a few seconds while the rest take minutes, for instance), any sprays just appear as the default spray (if they appear at all), and voice lines don't work. This has lasted for an entire round before, and when that happens the "play of the game" clip will often have invisible characters in it, even if they've loaded fully by the end of the round. Additionally, even once most/all assets are loaded, if I die and respawn there is a period (several seconds) where the screen is completely black even though my character is ... Read more

I am trying to fix some problems on a client's Compaq Presario V6000 running Windows XP Home Edition. I think a full reinstall of the OS may be necessary but am having problems even with that. My preference, of course, is to fix the problems below without having to reinstall the OS. I have pulled off some of the client's data but since I cannot get it to read a blank CD, an external drive or a large 2.0 flash drive I have not been able to back up everything. It will read a 1GB flash drive of an earlier generation. (Of course the client had no backups and had never done a system restore point - see below regarding my clientele.)

The current problems are:
1. Setup from a Windows Home Edition CD cannot see the HD: "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer". (I had hoped to set up a partition and reinstall the OS and then bring the user data over to the new install and then nuke the old one. I have done that before on a Dell that got caught in the isass.exe snafu when XP SP2 came out. I had also hoped to run Windows repair from setup to see if that would fix the problems on the current OS install.)
1.5 The Windows XP Home Edition CD is one I have that is a stand alone. It is not an OEM disk. I don't know if that matters. There are no recovery disks for this computer and since it will not see a blank CD in the drive I cannot make one.
2. The computer cannot connect to the Internet (wired or wireless).
3. I can now boo... Read more

I'm not sure if this is all part of the same problem but there are multiple things going on. On my laptop ( its an HP Pavilion DV6, with an intel core i3 CPU @ 2.20ghz, & 64 but operating system ) The only way i can get any sound to play is if I watch videos in my firefox browser. No sound will play when i use Chrome (which I prefer) or Itunes, or windows media player. The problem with watching videos in firefox is that there is about a 20 second delay before the video will play, and an error comes up to stop the plug in or continue. If you close out of that box the video will play but you will get the same delay every time it is paused and started again. Browsing in Chrome and playing videos from that browser there is absolutely no lag, its lightening fast, but you will not get any sound. Other simple programs ( Like solitaire) have the same lag, each card you click takes about 20 seconds for the move to actually take place. I've tried messing with my sound drivers to correct the audio issues but I am not sure if it is an audio issue, a flash player issue, or a combination. Any input?

So here is the challenge. I have had this router for years. I constantly use both my laptop and desktop PC for it. I have not made any major changes in a long time and it all of a sudden decides it no longer likes my PC. I have tried many things on this site which works temporarily for a few hours, and then it goes back out again.
So, since it is primarily an issue with the PC, I receive a connection to the PC from the router, but the Linksys info page says 'You are connected to the access point, but the internet cannot be found'. Any ideas?

I cannot connect to my router setting page which is And i also have some problems when i first turn on my computer or during browsing the web and stuff. And it will last about 30 minutes then go away and i can browse again normally Now the error message that comes up is something about a DNS server connectivity issue.

And I have contacted my isp and all they said is there was something wrong with the computer. But here is the thing i have 4 computers and its happening to all of them i have 1 hard wired witch is the current one im using and the rest (the other 3) are connected to wifi. and it happening on all of them so i dont think its the computers.

Now i started having these issues when i hard reset my modem. Then i went back in to set up my wifi and at first i thought it was just the wireless but it started happening to my hardwired desktop then i called my isp and they said it was the hardware so i went to go get a new modem and i get home plug it in and set it up and its still happening then i called them back and they said it was the computer.

A:I cannot connect to my router and i have internet issues.

I cannot connect to my router setting page which is to expand...

we need to come back to this issue
sounds like a router / modem / ISP issue as its happening on all PCs - wireless and cable connected

Please post back here the make and exact model of the router and if separate, the make and exact model of the modem

just on the cable connected PC - lets try a few things

would you post the following tests when its working OK and then repeat ALL the tests when it disconnects and make sure you also tells which tests posted are for what condition

Also please make a note of the status of the light on the modem and on the router when working normally - post back here and then when disconnected post the status of the lights here again if changed

ipconfig /all
If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to paste the results into something like notepad and then copy onto a machine that can access the internet and post results here

We would like to see the results from ipconfig /all post back the results in a reply here

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD then press Enter to open a command prompt box (A new dialogue box - black with white font, will appear on screen ):

In the command prompt window that opens, type the following command:

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

Hi there. I currently own an HP Pavilion dv6647nr that dualboots Vista and Linux Mint. I've had it about seven months now. Never had any connection problems in Vista until about a month ago. I would try to go to a web page after having been browsing for a while and suddenly it would tell me there is a page load error. Same thing if I try to go to another site. For some reason I can still use Windows Live and AIM, but no web pages. If I restart it it is almost always okay again, but this has started becoming more frequent - one or two times per day. As far as I know, the other computers connecting through our router are still able to fully connect and use the internet.

I'm not the brightest when it comes to this stuff, so might it be a software problem? I can't think of anything else that has changed that recently, and maybe windows updates had something to do with it?

If anyone has any ideas, it would be helpful. I tried searching for this problem, but I kept getting a search error when I did.

Hello all,

I am having multiple issues with Windows 7. I'm thinking that I have a virus of some kind but my antivirus software says otherwise. The computer is an HP G62-144DX Notebook. Below are the problems that I know of...

'RUN' will not open
The 'SEARCH' option in the start menu and in the explorer will not work.
The 'right-click' menu is missing mostly everything (cut, copy, paste, properties, etc.)
'Folder Options' in the Control panel will not open. When I atttempt to open it, a very small window flashes with a message for a millisecond, too fast to read.
The right-click options seem to be OK in Internet Explorer and Mozilla
I also cannot move any files from the computer to an external drive. This means I can't just back-up my files and re-install Windows. The visual looks fine - The file I drag adds the little plus sign when I hold it over the new destination folder but when I release the mouse button - NOTHING...
I have attached my 'Hijackthis' log file as suggested.

For the record, I use AVG antivirus software. It is up to date and a complete scan comes back clean.

Any help is appeciated...

BTW - I posted this in the malware/virus section but contrary to what I think the issue is - maybe it's not a virus, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Hello all.

I realize this is only my second post, so I will do my best to not sound like a newbie.

My Dell computer (running Windows XP Home SP2) has been faithfully serving me well for 2 years. However, now that I connected it to the internet via my family's wireless network, it's been acting odd ever since.

For one, in the previous 2 years I have never seen the BSoD. Now it shows its ugly face at least once a day. The message reads:
"STOP... 0x000000D1 (0x000000C0,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xF621D36B)
wind502u.sys - Address F621D36B base at F61E5000"

wind502u.sys appears to be something related to wireless internet (learned via Google search). I don't know how to update my driver for the "Motorola 802.11g Wireless USB Adapter" (WU830G appears to be the item #)

I don't know if it's my computer or the stupid wireless adaptor. If anyone can give me any ideas as to what's happening, that'd be much appreciated.

The most common time for the BSoD to appear is when I'm downloading a big file.

First off you are welcome to ask as many question as your heart desires. That is what ever one is here for. Second I am not a big fan of USB. It's like trying to do brain surgery with a Swiss Army Knife. You can do it but you may not be happy with the results. If you are running a notebook I suggest a PCICIMA adaptor (PC-Card), if a desktop/tower I recommend a PCI NIC.With that said Here is a MicroSoft link that ay solve your problems. Hello I hope this is the right section, it is xp I have like.

So I recently moved and with that have changed internet provider from BT to SKY, there're no phone sockets upstairs so I'm using a wireless adapter dongle to pick up the wireless signal from the hub thing.

So it is pretty quick, loads youtube videos 480 fine at least which is better than the wired we had from BT lol. My problem is that I play online games and every maybe 30 seconds or so my ping(?) jumps form a good 60 to 500 or so then back down within 2 seconds, it's a problem cause I'm usually dead by then lol.

What's weird is that when I first install the software even for the old dongle, it works fine for the first day, then gets worse and worse untill I have to reinstall it?

So I bought a different dongle, thought my old one was busted but still having the same problem. The one I'm using now is a nano thing ( 150 Mbps? ), I have O2 program on PC too, and the old TP-LNIK program, plus the new RALINK. Is it possible the programs interfere with eachother affecting the incoming signal

So how do I find out if it's my PC or the hub or what? Of course, plug it in downstairs to the wall, but is there a program to monitor this kinda thing I don't know? To find out what i need to do like, to sort the problem till I can afford to get sockets in upstairs in me room

Any help replies, thanks very much Sorry if I ramble lol.

I moved your thread to the Networking Forum.

please Download and run this Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector, click the Networks link on the upper left and paste a screen shot of that screen here. Note that this application requires NET Framework to run. If you get an error about a missing function, download and install NET Framework.

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to the forum, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

Yesterday night, my internet provider (Shaw) has some technical issues with their internet that were resolved today. Since then I haven't been able to access the internet on my laptop (Dell Inspiron.)
At the moment I'm on another computer in my house connected through a D-Link wireless router.

I've tried everything I've been able to find to try to get the wireless internet back on my laptop, went through the diagnose and repair about a million times, rebooting, disabling firewalls, doing that DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag in the registry, ip config in the command screen, and of course simply unplugging the modem and router for 10 seconds then plugging it back in. None of this seens to work.

If anyone can help me with this problem I'd appreciate it very much.

Are you connected to the wireless router now?
- if you are, try to ping it.
- open up a command prompt and type ping or substitute 0 for 1
- if it pings and results are 4 sent and 0 recieved fail then your not talking to the router
- if it pings and you send 4 and get 4 back, the laptop is talking

If you are talking to the router then:
- run this command and post the results
- netsh wlan show drivers
- if the drivers are outdated you may not be able to connect
- if it worked before but not now, what has changed since that time?

I'm recieving very slow internet speeds over a wireless connection to my hub.
I currently have BT total broadband, Suposed to be at around 2.5mbps but my hub is registering as getting 1.3mbps. I can live with 1.3mbps, but over the wireless connection to the BT home hub I'm getting very slow speeds of less than 65kbps.

I'm not sure if its the hub causing the trouble, or my PCI wireless adapter.
I have a netgear WG311v3 Wireless card, and I'm using the drivers and software supplied to configure it. Its been working ok, and I have been getting good speeds through it, but I cant understand why I get these very slow speeds all of a sudden.

The configuration utiliy is telling me I have an exelent connection to the hub, the icon in the system tray is solid green.

Has anyone got any Idea's as to what the problem could be, and more importantly, how to solve it?

Ok, my laptop (Dell Insprion 1525) has been having a really annoying problem with the wifi. I have access to the internet, but when browsing the web. It's really slow, and I have to refresh the page every time in order for the full page to load. Then Trillian keeps disconnecting my accounts and reconnecting them, so it looks like i'm logging in and out all the time.

I go reset the modem and router to have it work great for a little bit, then the slowness starts again.

Also, my internet access randomly goes away and keeps me at "Local Only" for a minute or so, then reconnects to the internet.

What do you think the problem could be?

A:Wireless internet issues

Top suspect would be wireless interference. How does it do with a wired connection?
Some things you can try here.
For wireless connections, change the channel on the router, I like channels 1, 6, and 11 in the US.
For wireless connections, try moving either the wireless router/AP or the wireless computer. Even a couple of feet will sometimes make a big difference.
Update the firmware to the latest version available on the manufacturer's site.
Reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure.
Update the network drivers (wired and wireless) on your computer to the latest available.

Many times these measures will resolve a lot of intermittent issues.

I have 2 pc's networked at my house using a broadband connection with a Netgear RP114/4 port router. The problem I am having with Age of Mythology(and all my games for that matter) is nobody outside my network can access my home pc's. My home pc's can game together with no problem. What I am trying to do is "host" a game using 1 of my 2 pc's and have other people connect to me. Netgear tech support is worthless and they keep giving me a guy who hardly speaks english and reads off Que cards. They keep telling me I need to turn on port forwarding and that I have to contact the game manufacturer to get those numbers and after all that only 1 of my 2 pc's can be accessed. There has got to be a way I can "host" a game from my house and have people connect to me. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it's a driver issue, either, I think it's just that the driver doesn't load when I turn the computer back on. Every driver works perfectly, though.

It's getting really REALLY annoying, can someone please help me figure it out!?! And yes, I've tried installing the latest driver from Windows Update, but not NVIDIA themselves yet.

A:Network Connections issues, can't connect to internet on reboot

What brand of network router do you have, or what is your connection? Who is your provider?
Do you have the install software on disk? Who installed this system? You, or did you hire someone to do it for you.
Please tell us about your computer, configuration, and software installed as well.
