Streaming Video freezes computer after downloading SP1

Q: Streaming Video freezes computer after downloading SP1

Hi, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and recently downloaded SP1. Now when I stream video, the whole computer freezes often and seemingly at random times. The video stops, the sound gets stuck on one note, and I am unable to use the mouse or keyboard until it unfreezes which is sometimes twenty seconds, but sometimes twenty minutes. It eventually unfreezes and usually continues playing like normal. I have tried using chrome, firefox, and explorer all with the same results. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place for this.

starting a couple months ago I began to have this issue of my computer doing a hard shutdown at first seemingly randomly. I have now been able to narrow the issue down to whenever data is being downloaded.

Streaming video seems to be the worst; the computer will only last between 2-30 seconds before shutting down, but it also occurs when downloading multiple files

specs are:

mobo: MSI K9N Platinum (MS-7250)
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ @ 2000 MHz
Chipset : nVidia nForce 570 Ultra
Physical Memory : 2048 MB (4 x 512 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 3
Power: 450 watt Antec sp-450

I have attempted the following fixes:

- reinstalled windows

- virus scanned including boot scan.

- updating display drivers/ uninstalling display drivers

- changing and disabling network ports. also installed another network card to try it.

- CPU heat monitoring. cpu heat stays around 31 C and at most reaches 44 C. shutdown appears unrelated. GPU never goes above 55 C

- Dust. Fully removed mobo, cpu and thoroughly cleaned for dust. also dusted fans.

- uninstalled flash player, reinstalled. reinstalled earlier version.

- updated bios version

Frankly, I've run out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a desktop or laptop? What OS? What brand or is it custom built? What do you use the computer for? ie: gaming, surfing, server etc.? It sounds like it might be a power unit or memory problem. To test memory it's a pain but you can test them one at a time to see if they work and windows recognizes them. Let us know more about you computer and remember it's Friday so please be patient and don't get frustrated.

WHENEVER I try to stream video from the internet my browser and whole computer freezes and I have to do a hard re-boot. Be it with WMP, Quicktime or realplayer or anything i can never manage to play a video. After this happens it won't let me close the browser or even do Control, Alt, Delete.
This problem started after i'd got my computer back from repair sorting out a virus, it might be related because the malware is still there being annoying it's just supposedly inactive.

With quicktime a tiny snippet of audio can be heard for a few seconds before it freezes and with WMP i think it says "error loading codec" or something.

Oddly, youtube type videos are fine. I know other people have posted in with similar problems but i've had no luck fixing it. Any help would be much appreciated,
Cheers

I have had problems running any type of streaming video for the last 2 months, even UTUBE which uintil last week worked fine. (I can listen to music on AOL Radio, and even play most music videos)....however, I cannot watch Sports replays, movies or Shows, the News..etc.
Computer freezes totally, must do a reboot...video usually runs for about 1 minute. I get no error messages, ect..

I have followed the 5 steps suggested...
I have never had an issue with any type of Trojan or Virus..I clean out the adware ect on a regular basis. I use Zone Alarm, AVG , Spytbot and Adcanced Windows Care V2 Personal (I also have CCleaner, but the WindowsCare seems to do a good job with the Regisrty).
I run these on a fairly regular basis...I also had no new updates to install, as I do those consisntly as well.
The following is the main Log..I have tried to attach the other as suggested..please bear with me on this, as I do not usually do much "posting"

Hey guys, so when I am streaming youtube or TV shows, my computer will all of a sudden freeze up, the mouse won't move, CTRL+ALT+DEL does nothing. for an instant the sound will become loud and just white noise (about 3 seconds). After this, the computer will sit at that stage, frozen and will never change, the screen won't go black, I need to do a hard reset to restart it. I have recently upgraded to windows 8.1.

My hardware is:
Mobo:ASRock 970 Extreme4
CPU: AMD FX 4100 Quad Core 3.6GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series
8Gb RAM

I have tried manually installing the newest driver for graphics card from the website. I have tried reinstalling adobe flash as well.

Has anyone got any ideas? I am out of them. It will usually crash within minutes of streaming, I have been using the computer at this moment for about 40 minutes without streaming and it has not crashed, apart from this, I don't have any other proof that it is crashing due to the streaming, but it is fair enough to assume it is.

Cheers guys

My laptop is a Sony Vaio running Windows 7. When I watch online videos (can be Youtube or any other kind of streaming video) my computer has been freezing very often lately (at least twice a day). When it freezes the computer stops and I can't move the mouse or do anything but the sound from the video persists as a slowed down, very roboty sounding version of the real sound. This will go on for about a minute and then the sound will stop. Eventually the computer will unfreeze itself after between 2-10 minutes of sitting there doing nothing and then the video will resume as if nothing happened (sometimes between 1 and 2 seconds of video have been skipped). Is there any fix to this problem?

I've tried a number of solutions for this problem. I've installed new codecs, I've looked for updated version of my Flash player, and run a number of different Spyware/Virus removal programs, yet nothing has solved my problem.

I'm posting my Hijack This log in hopes that someone can tell me what my problem is.

Hey, I recently started having a problem with my computer where it will freeze whenever I try and play any type of streaming video, or when playing music through itunes. When it freezes, I can still use the mouse, but clicking (left or right) does nothing, on anything, and pressing ctrl+alt+del does nothing either, so I have to hold down the power button to turn off computer then turn it back on.

Also, when it freezes, any audio playing at the time starts looping, about 1-2 seconds worth of audio just looping.

I have tried running AVG virus scan, came up with no problems, Spybot and Adaware, came up with stuff, fixed it, no change. Used a registry cleaner, fixed it, cleaned it up, no change. Ran Chdsk and it cleaned some stuff up but no change.

In the event log, it shows absolutely nothing when this happens, under any heading. Ive tested this using the itunes freezing recently, and it will show itunes service starting, then the next event is event log starting when I restart the system.

However, I did find some stuff from when it started (around 12:21 am Dec. 25th) which is:

Hi everyone,

A few days ago my computer started freezing whenever I watched video with any media player or online. The video will play from anywhere between 30 seconds and a few minutes. I'm getting no error codes, no BSOD, no screen tear or blocks, the video and audio just freeze and I get no keyboard or mouse response so I have to restart the computer. I get no problems just being online or using word processors, seems only problem is when I play video or play games.

I've had issues with my graphics card before so I'm guessing that's the problem again, but I'm not sure so that's why I'm here.

My computer specs are:

Intel i5 2500k Sandy Bridge
ASrock P67 Pro3
8GB G.Skill Ripjaw
ASUS nVidia GTX 560Ti
650W PSU

I just ran FurMark stability test on fullscreen and I was averaging 100fps and 75C for 60k frames with no problems. Don't know if that helps at all.

If you need more info I'll do what I can to get it for you. Thanks for taking any time to help me out.

I have ADSL service from Earthlink. I've had satifactory service with downloading streaming video in the past. The last few weeks, however, every few seconds the video freezes for about 1 second then resumes where it left off. This occurs on all video download sites: youtube, netflix previews, network episode players. This happens on both my computer & my wife's computer. I dis some troubleshooting. I downloaded and installed the latest Flash Player software. I checked my download speed at: http://www.broadbandreports.com/tools. It was 297kbs. This is the same as in the past. I launched Task Manger while viewing video and noticed that the System Idle Process went to 98% and all other processes went to zero when the video freezes. It appears to be waiting for more video from the internet before resuming. I suspected that my ISP's server was the culprit, but Tech Support assured me that all was normal on their end. I also bypassed my router so that my computer was directly plugged into the modem. Still froze.

Any suggestions on what to do next?

I don't know what kind of hardware there is between Earthlink's server and my modem. My DSL is supplied over Verizon's wires. Perhaps Verizon is messing me up.

Windows xp, Verizon dsl, pristine new compaq presario 1 gb ram 140 gb hard drive 10 gb used, no temp files. Using mozilla, safari, and/or ie all steaming video freezes after a short time from many different sources: TED videos, ESPN 360 replays, three minute video clips from Yahoo! Finance Tech ticker, NFL films. Westell modem working, belkin router working, "signal strength" excellent [icon on monitor]. My Apple iBook G4 connected via airport to my little home network also freezes but plays to the end of videos when connected via airport to a neighbor's comcast wireless router, with NO change in any settings, loads, anything. Example: the Harry Kalas retro on NFL films today 4/14 played in its entirety via neighbor's wireless connect [comcast] but froze after 1 minute using the Verizon source. NO freezes occur on iBook at public [free] hotspots -- Whole Foods Cafe uptown Washington DC, Bread Line downtown DC, Tampa Airport. Some genius on line suggested a Flash Drive uninstall and reinstall -- this took me 4 hours thanks to its unavailability or initially poor results and the freezes occur just the same. Ideas?

Hello everyone,
I'm have a problem that I haven't been able to resolve. This is a new PC build, one month old, that has been having download issues, frequently freezing in the middle of downloads, and also when watching streaming video, it freezes. On file downloads, when it freezes, I can pause the download, then resume, and it will usually resume the download. I may have to do that 5-10 times to get the entire file. I was just watching a streaming video promo on buy.com's website (about 4 minutes long), and at 1 minute and 6 seconds the video freezes every time. I've tried to watch that video with IE, Firefox and Chrome, with the same results - freezing at 1 minute and 6 seconds with all three browsers. My regular web browsing seems to be very fast, no issues there (I have 6 mbps DSL). My network card has the latest driver (but I haven't tried to reinstall it). I have attached my PC info as a text file. Thank you for any suggestions

Hey there everyone, so Ive had this problem for a long time and i have searched and searched the internet and tried different fixes and nothing ever seems to work.

So I have a laptop that I use mainly for streaming and watching tv and movies onto my tv. I recently did a fresh install of windows to try and fix a problem with the video being choppy/freezing/audio lagging and for a few days it seemed to work, but now its bad to being a POS.

So basically this only happens on Netflix and Hulu video streaming. I havent noticed a problem when watching something on youtube or any other site. I have noticed though the task manager that when the video freezes the cpu usage jumps to %100 and then drops back to to %50 to %60 when it goes back to playing normal and this only last about a second, but still annoying none the less. This problem occurs in any brower, ive tried firefox and chrome and the same problem happens in both. I have checked drivers, all up to date. I have changed the processors to both be used. Ive tried a lot of different "fixes" and nothing seems to work.

This laptop, while old should have no problem streaming video and nothing else. There are no other programs running on this laptop while I stream video.

The specs for this laptop are Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Toshiba satellite laptop
AMD Turion(tm) X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-70 2.GHz Processor

Well this problem has started just about 3 weeks ago. The whole computer will just become non-responsive, mouse and all! The are no symptoms that would lead up to the crash, (if you want to call it that) but i've narrowed it down to when i'm watching streaming video (youtube, dailymotion). That it what's running the majority of the time when the system crashes. It does also happens at random moments when i'm not even at the computer. Sometimes I can be on for hours and sometimes it happens in as little as 5 minutes.

Now I've done some general clean-up but the problem stil exists. I just feel that it started after I installed something but I can't figure out what it was being that I don't remember the exact date! I uninstalled a few programs from around that time but maybe they left behind something in the registry. Now I have experience with editing reg files but that's still one place I will not go unless I know EXACTLY what i'm looking for! Well there's really not much more I can say to describe this problem being that I haven't experienced this one before.

Now I already have the HJT log file ready to go! Any help aside from formatting would be GREATLY apreciated.

Well it looks like it is not just the streaming video causing the problem anymore. I have had it happen when Pandora is running on safari. Another theory might oddly enough be my phone. I have just purchased the HTC HD2 about 2 weeks ago.

The reason for this theory is becasue I had my phone hooked up via usb and as soon as i recieved a sms, the computer froze! I wanted to try and rule it out as just coincedence so I kept the phone off the computer and it ran problem free for about a day n a half. It froze once again when I had pandora running overnight. So now we can add these in as possibilities!

This type of network connection problem is a widespread with older NIC drivers and Windows 7.
As soon as the connection is loaded up it quits and needs to be reset.

About all you can do is look for the latest NIC drivers for the media center PC. Hopefully an updated one will come along soon.

If I go to a sight like youtube and watch a video, about half way through all videos it will freeze. Even though you can see the buffering progress bar is maxed out it will still freeze on all videos.

What is the problem with this? I have contacted the ISP several times and they swear they are not packet shaping my account.....and it works great with everything else, just not streaming video.

Given that the buffer progress bar is maxed out I don't think this is a connection issue.

It is more like a flash player/browser problem. Have you tried other browsers? Tried re-installing Flash?

Occasionally, I like to check out videos on Google, YouTube and other streaming video sites. Almost consistently, they tend to "freeze" after a few minutes. They NEVER resume. After rebooting pc, it may play a minute more, but that's it.

I'm running a customized 2400AMD processor set at 1800, 1 GB DDR RAM, 128 Radion Vid, (2x) 7200 HD's with plenty room on a well maintained pc. I have High Speed cable running at over 3 MBits/sec. During the "freeze" times, I can open another search engine and there's no lag on searching nor downloads. At the same time, I can run Adobe PS or any other RAM and processor using program and still no lag. I tested it to see if any other function on my pc slowed down by running several apps at once during the "freeze" and everything was fine. Still, even though I start with NOTHING running outside my basic OS, virus scan and "tuned" Sygate firewall, I can't watch more than a few minutes of Google vid, You Tube or other streaming video without it freezing.

My ie temp file is set to over 1500 MB. I'm actually typing this with a streaming video frozen on another search engine. I can even watch a movie and send emails at the same time w/o lag at the same time streaming vid is frozen. NOTHING else lags. Not even my ie provider can figure this out.

This is frustrating. Any ideas?

I am using a HP 6620 PC, win7 Home Premium 64 bit. I am connected to the router via Ethernet and a wireless network to another PC, a IPAD and a PS3 which feeds my TV.

When I stream video from my PC it often freezes/hangs/stutters. I have to pause it for a time and then it will play good for a while and then freeze again. When the IPAD accesses the internet via the wireless connection it works OK. When the internet is accessed by the PS3 thru the wireless it also works OK. This tells me the wireless connections and the PS3 are working OK and the problem must be something in the PC. What is the most likely problem? Can it be a buffer that's not big enough and if so can I increase the size and how do I go about increasing the size. Can the video card not be the correct one for this kind of streaming? The PC isn't that old. Seems like the video should be up to it. With all the video streaming going on these days surely I'm not the only one having this problem. Thanks much for the help.

I am running Windows 2000.I have broadband and until today I haven't had this problem.First a little background...
I installed Systems Works with no problems
I installed Webroot Spy Sweeper and I think that may have been the start of my problem.
When Streaming videos it takes FOREVER if at all to play. Downloading is a joke. What usually took a minute to download is so slow now that I usually just cancel it.I went to Windows Updates and thought that would help.but it didn't.I unistalled Spy Sweeper thinking that would help but it didn't.I'm thinking (and it is quite possible I am wrong)that I may have deleted something I shouldn't have when I swept and deleted Spy/ADware.

Any Thoughts???

I've had this problem for about 3 years. I've replaced so many parts and i'm still getting the same problem.

so basically, during games or streaming videos, my computer might freeze sometimes.
Its a custom built computer from 6 years ago. Here's some specs.
Windows7 Ultimate 32x
AMD athlon 64 x2 dual core 6000+ 3.00ghz
4.00 gb memory (only 3.5 is usable because of 32x)
Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS

Okay so basically, the games i'm playing do not even take high end stuff to begin with (Heroes of Newerth / Left 4 dead 2 / Starcraft2)

And sometimes, it randomly freezes, the only way to turn it back on is hold down the power button to turn if off and turn it on again.

I have replaced the PSU 3x already (its a corsair 650w now. My first PSU that came with the computer was a thermaltake 500w did not even have problems unitl after 2 years.)

I have gotten more ram. (i started at 2gb and now i'm at 4gb)
I have ran many scans and everything seems to be alright but my computer still freezes.

And i have gotten more fans cause i thought it wasn't cool enough.

But i discovered something. Is it possible that my computer isn't getting enough energy from the outlet? Here is a speedfan picture

My temp is normal and never ever goes past 81c even while playing and is 60c at idle.

But the voltage on the 12v line is REALLY disturbing me. Is it possible that, that is the problem?
And sometimes it alternates between 7.44v and 9.50v but it never goes higher than... Read more

A:Computer Freezes during games or streaming videos

Hi Icehism,

Any number of faults could cause this issue, the PSU might not output the power it needs, drivers can stop working, devices can stop responding due to hardware/software faults, it can basicly be anything.

I would recommend you to take a look in the eventlog (Start > Search > eventvwr.msc > Hit enter) under the systems log (and the other ones aswell for that matter) and see if you find any reoccuring faults at all, if so, paste them here. And also check around the time it last happened, see if any error reports were made.

If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you could export the log and attach it to your next post for us to look at.

Okay, so I have been having this problem for a while now. My computer freezes, but ONLY when streaming videos in a web browser (from websites like YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, etc.). It happens as follows: I can be watching YouTube for perhaps 30 minutes, already having sat through 5 or 6 videos (sometimes this occurs on the first, however), and while I'm watching a video, all 3 of my monitors freeze, the primary monitor blacks out, and the audio cuts out after about 2 seconds. I've tried letting my computer sit for a while to see if it restores itself, but it never has, so I always need to hard-restart my computer when this happens.

I've upgraded my graphics driver to the latest version, and it didn't fix the problem, so I contacted AMD support, who told me to use Display Driver Uninstaller and uninstall a specific older version of the program. This did not fix my problem either. So finally, I let the AMD auto-installer select one of the older drivers for me based on my card, but that didn't fix it either. I then tried reinstalling each of these separately after using the DDU each time but yet again it did not fix the problem. I?ve even installed a newer version of my BIOS, but the problem was unimpeded.

I am certain that my computer is not overheating, as the fan display on the front of it maintains a reading within 2 degrees of 30 Celsius almost constantly, and I can run DOOM both offline and online at 100 fps with Vulkan ? a considerably more demanding process than wat... Read more

Hello everyone,

So when I try to download something my computer will completely freeze up, the only thing that i'm still able to do is move my cursor around. It'll stay frozen untill i force it to shut down (power button), it won't go to a bsod or anything (no minidump files are generated by these freezes). The freeze happens randomly, sometimes it happens fairly fast (after 100mb or so) but most of the times it takes a while (1-3 gb). When the download is small enough it won't cause a bsod (most downloads under 1gb will finish without a problem) but since i use this pc primarily for gaming i download a lot of large files via steam etc and these are the ones that freeze my pc up.

Trying to solve this problem i already did some testing: I've ran chkdsk (didn't find anything), ran the memory test from windows (didn't find anything), updated my drivers, did some virus scans (didn't find anything), ran the seagate tool to check my harddrive some more (didn't find anything) and in the end i ran the driver verifier.

When i ran the driver verifier it got past the bios screen and then immediatly caused a bsod, after the bsod the pc wouldn't start up normally and had to repair to an earlier state but after that it worked as before (still with the freezing problem though). But this bsod did give me a minidump file(i think you can ignore the older one, no idea from when that one is :s)! So after doing all these things the problem still persist and i'm at a loss at what i should... Read more

I've seen a few of these around on the forums but none have my same symptoms so I figured I'd add a new thread. My problem is whenever I download a large file weather it be P2P, LAN, or even off Microsoft's website my entire computer will freeze and not move. I have to do a hard restart on it. I can see by the clock it froze hours ago.

My setup:
CPU: AMD X2 3800+ 64 bith
RAM: 1GB Gskill
HDD: 40GB (Windows)
HDD2: 500GB (everything else)
Video: ATI Radeon HD 2400

Things I've tried:
1. Tried 2 different HDDs for the windows install and without the 2nd
2. Format and install windows again
3. Update NIC drivers
4. Limit my download speed (Netlimiter)

imo, you need another gig of ram. 1 gig is not enough to run vista properly. You will have problems similar to what you are having.

I recently just got this computer, near the beginning of January.

Specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo
ASUS P5KSE Motherboard
2GB RAM
eVGA 8500gt 256mb video card
Windows XP Professional with SP2

if more needed then just notify me.

The problem is that whenever I download using BT, or install games such as from www.ijji.com for example,
my computer starts freezing 20mins-1hour later.
But it doesn't permanently freeze.
It freezes for about 5 seconds, and then unfreezes, and then freezes for 5 seconds again, and unfreezes and it keeps doing that.
So I don't have a choice except to restart my computer in order it to run properly again.
When it starts freezing, my wireless internet connection disconnects and my music plays the same tone for 5 seconds also then goes back to normal.

I took this to the shop and there was no problem there, most of my downloads were almost completed so yeah, could anyone help me fix this?

Except today, while I was watching a movie on my computer, it did the freezing thing again, so I have no idea what's going on.

I have searched up many forums to get a problem like this, but my problem seems to be too specific to find a real solution.

Once I boot up my computer, everything works fine. For some reason, it does take a couple minutes to connect to the internet (high-speed), but it does connect sooner or later. Now, my computer will freeze randomly whenever I seem to do anything. It could freeze within 10 minutes of my computer turning on, or 24 hours within of my computer turning on. But, whenever I seem to download something also, it seems especially susceptible to freezing. Not only does it freeze, in my task bar it says my internet has disconnected. I can't move the mouse, open up task manager, or anything else along those lines.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

A:Computer Freezes Randomly and While Downloading

First, if you have your original boot disk, boot your computer from the disk. Open the Recovery Console and run chkdsk c: /r. Once that has completed, you should go into your DEVICE MANAGER and update all of your drivers. Try that and then see if you have the same issues.

Good day!

Hi, i got this new computer about 3 weeks ago. When i watch streaming (twitch.tv mostly), sometimes it will freeze my browser for 5sec-10sec (but the sound is still going) and come back after. When i try to watch it in 720p or HD, it will lag but only the video 1/2 of the time, while the sounds is just fine.

I updated all my drivers and reinstalled my firefox/chrome.

Over 720p will work for 15mins then starts lagging like crazy. A

Also, when i open anything (i think with ''Flash'') my browser will freeze for 5sec. The chat from twitch.tv beside the video will take for ever to load and make my browser lag.

Thank you.

Hey guys,

This one has been eluding me so I'm looking for outside help.   This computer belongs to a friend of the Wife, who uses it for World of Warcraft and watching videos on youtube and hulu.   She says it's frozen up off and on over various incarnations and has had some hardware changed (gpu, hard drive for sure- memory and motherboard have never been changed).

I have a 5-year old HP Pavilion with Windows XP Media Center 2004 loaded. Up until about a month ago I could watch virtually any streaming video without a problem. Then one by one they all started causing the same total computer crash about 15 minutes into viewing. No problem with listening to NPR, but the streaming video problem exists whether it is PBS, Netflix, Hulu, or others. I clear my cache several times a day and I have updated my Silverlight, FlashPlayer, etc. till I'm blue in the face and nothing works. The tech guy at Hulu told me my computer was just too old. The Netflix tech guy said it was a problem with Microsoft. And I can't get any help at Microsoft. So am I just not going to ever be able to stream video again? Otherwise, my computer works fine - and I'm on it 18 hours a day for my work (which is incredibly boring which is why streaming video is so important to keeping my sanity.)

Hi all,

I am currently using Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit edition and just recently whenever I am downloading anything my computer will freeze for around 2 seconds and the download connection will restart to 0.00mb/s then start to connect back up to its full speed again.

This happens I'd say around every 15 minutes and has started to become very annoying as you can imagine as a large file can take hours to download when it should only take half the time.

I'd really appreciate any advice.

Thanks a lot

Hi, all. Wondering if anyone can help with this. When downloading large files, either via uTorrent, Steam, or other services, at random times my computer will freeze, requiring a hard restart. No BSOD or anything, just a freeze. It doesn't happen every single time I download large files, but it does happen often enough. I suspect that it may be a problem with the wireless network card, but I'm not exactly sure, and wanted to get some insight before I replaced anything. It's been happening since I built the machine, but I narrowed it down to downloading large files just recently. I ran the diagnostic tool, and I am attaching the zip, though there is no minidump, of course. Thank you in advance.
