Q: Lenovo Yoga 910 camera not found

Hi there. I am having trouble finding the camera on my 910. I tried doing a factory reset on the computer, but it couldn't find the driver. I tried going to lenovo's website and manually installing it, but still nothing. The last thing I have resorted to is to install legacy hardware, but I'm not sure which device I should install. I appreciate any advice! Also, an important note is that I cracked the screen on it a while back and had Geek Squad replace it using the accident replacement plan they offer. I am unsure whether the camera was incorporated before then, as I never needed to use it until recently.

Install one by one & see which works best...... If one did not work uninstall the driver in device manager->imaging devices->lenovoeasycamera(most probably)->uninstall the driver(tick delete driver software...... Do this one by one & see which works....  RegardsKamal

The camera has been working with Skype.  Now not working and camera icon on Skype screen has line across it showing camera not working/available.   In Device Manager I have checked that the device is available (Lenovo EasyCamera).  I have checked privacy settings and camera is on.  I have downloaded an updated driver. The 'general' tab states 'This device is working properly'. My operating system is Windows 10.  Thank you SEJoseph - I have checked in Lenovo Settings and the camera icon has a slash through it.  I assume that means it is disabled.  If so how can I enable it? Problem solved - in Lenovo Settings - camera - set privacy to 'off'.  Camera now works with Skype.

I have a web-camera issue with my notebook. It doesn't work. It used to work once or twice. But then suddenly something went wrong. Neither works mic. When I opened my windows 10 "Camera" app it said "Can't find camera". I checked device manager for drivers issues and couldn't find anything about camera. So I added a knew device "Lenovo EasyCamera". My "Camera" app still doesn't work. So I tried to fix in with Lenovo Settings. But there is no any camera folder in it. Reinstalling still didn't fix it. Also I tried installing drivers with official Lenovo website. Still nothing.

Hello, I've had this lenovo yoga 710 for only a few months now and on multiple occasions, I've gone to open my camera/skype call, and I get a black screen, that says, "We Can't Find Your Camera". Now, I've read about a million posts about solutions to similar problems, but can't seem to get anything to work.When I go into "Device Manager", there are no camera drivers under "Imaging Devices" or "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers". So I looked it up, and everything I read says to go to the lenovo website, find the right camera driver for my specific computer, and download it. Well, I've tried that with a bunch of different camera drivers including the "AzureWave, Bison, Chicony, Liteon" one that is supposedly the right one for this computer, and after hitting "install" and "finish", I get a pop-up "error" message that simply says, "No device found". I've uninstalled and reinstalled lenovo "easycam", but it says the same thing -- "Can't find device", etc.Any suggestions would be awesome, I've only had this laptop for a few months and this has happened at least 4 or 5 times now and it's really becoming quite the aggravation when trying to video chat with family from college.Thanks in advance!

Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e :Integrated Camera ( Webcam ) doesn't show up on Device Manager List I've just recently bought a reaconditioned laptop, Lenovo Thinkpad  Yoga 11e (20DA) wich originally had Windows 8.1 Pro installed but sold with Windows 10 Pro installed. I've changed the HDD for a 120GB SSD (i do really recommend this) and installed from scrath Windows Pro N that automatically got updated to 1709 Anniversary version. I've also updated de BIOS firmware to avoid future issues. Aftere sorting out some minor problems, pretty common when it comes to scratch instalations on laptops, like touchpad issues, function keys, etc... that i solved using the Software and Drivers site for my laptop i found myself with the this issue:  - I tried to setup and update drivers for the integrated camera ( Webcam ) and suprise....is not even listed on the Device Manager. - Can't find the section Imaging Devices on the Device Manager, this is where integrated cameras normally show up unlike the external USB Webcams wich normally show up on Camera section.  -No any warning/hazard yellow triangule sign in any other ramdom device. -I tried to force the installation of the integrated camera using the Add Legacy Device option on Device Manager using Windows 10 integrated camera drivers from the Lenovo Support site but automaticly get a blue screen wich force to restart several times, start on safe mode and uninstall the integrated camera to ... I have a Lenovo Yoga 2.
I reset the notebook with the One Key Recovery application.
The notebook has been reset but can not find the WIFI card. It disappeared, it seems that it does not exist. The ethernet icon appears in the bar below the windows and the only possibility is to create a VPN connection. I do not know how to do it ... restoring the notebook with one recovery should not have these problems

I am having an issue with our Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga's connecting to our MDT 2012 server.  When I boot to Windows PE and try to connect to the deployment share I receive the message, "no networking devices found on this machine!."  I was able to find a link to MDT drivers on the Lenovo site https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht074984.  I have imported this driver into MDT and created a selection profile. I have ensured that the driver is in the boot image.  I have also tried injecting the drivers manually while booted into PE.  Just for good measure I even tried the drivers for the Think Pro One Link Dock and for the USB to ethernet dongle.  I have researched the web for solutions on this issue and tried all that I have found thus far. Oh by the way I have even totally recreated the MDT server from scratch and I still have this issue with the Yoga. I have other models of Lenovo computers and I can connect to the MDT server in PE on these machines.  Any advice or assistance would be highly appreciated as I am under the gun to get this up and working.

So I ran into another bigger trouble again after taking so much time to make this LENOVO YOGA 300 mini laptop Boot from my USB. I was very happy when I succeeded in making the LENOVO YOGA 300 Boot from my USB drive BUT got disappointed when it stock at A REQUIRED CD/DVD DRIVE DEVICE DRIVER IS MISSING Thought maybe as compare to what I normally do to most HP "remove and plug it back again or changing the port" may help me but did all of  those stuffs but didn't help.When back and bought a new USB flash made it bootable tested and trusted, on other PCs even some LENOVO. But was surprise when inserted it into this LENOVO YOGA 300 it started well and stock at the same place where it Will shows A REQUIRED CD/DVD DRIVE DEVICE DRIVER IS MISSING . I don't know what else to do.Please any help on this I'll be very grateful

I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 (Anniversary Update - Build 14393.693) clean installed on  a Yoga 2 Pro (20266 / 80AY) BIOS 76CN43WW. The "Lenovo Yoga  Mode Control" version 2.0.0.9 (ymc.exe) has consistently crashed every day for the last few months. Crash reports are logged. Since you have to hunt around different Lenovo sites (and other sites) to find out about these softwares, I decided to make a post to get feedback from actual Yoga owners on how these programs interact, what they do, which ones are prerequisite, and which ones are unnecessary. Please don't take this as a blanket answer. This is just what I have found. It might be right - it might be wrong. I'm looking for others to post their experiences as well. Lenovo System Interface Foundation Driver - Necessary prerequisite (missing driver in device manager without it). It allows the Lenovo Utility and Lenovo Companion to work. Lenovo Yoga Mode Control - Necessary if you want to use your yoga to seemlessly change between all the different modes (laptop, tablet, tent, stand). This software is responsible for autorotating and putting Windows into tablet mode. Lenovo Utility - Recommended(?) This one I'm not too sure on. I remember that I was missing some function that I wanted but I can't remember what it was now. Maybe battery cycle count and health? Lenovo Companion - I don't have this one installed and don't think it's necessary but would like someone else to shed some light here.

Hello, I have a new T530 with Windows 8 OS. I am having trouble using the integrated camera. It functions neither in the Windows camera app nor in Skype. In both cases I get a picture with a gray background and a camera with a line through it. In Device manager, the camera does appear, is enabled, and the drivers are up to date.After looking through other threads, I tried checking whether the camera was plugged in and indeed it was. When using Skype and I set the camera to on (Skype did detect the camera), I still got the gray no camera image, but the green light on the camera itself turned on.I also tried using Fn+F6 to check settings. Lenovo settings opens, but the when I click the camera settings Icon, the screen loads a blank page that says "Camera" in the top right and has a back button (left pointing arrow) in the top left hand corner. The back button does not seem to work and I must change the window to something else in order to exit/close settings.I tried manually installing both camera drivers and "power management" ("energy management"?) drivers. Neither of this solved either of these issues.Please help me to resolve this problem. Thank you.

I would make sure that the BIOS is up to date in the system. The current BIOS for your system is 2.07 and can be found here. Also, I would ensure that the chipset drivers are up to date, and those can be found here.

I recently did a Windows 10 update to my Lenovo Yoge Ideapad  11 S on July 16th and now my touch screen does not work. When I check the drivers for my monitor and touch screen I noticed the driver was missing. I cannot get Lenovo or Microsoft to fix this. What else can I do to get that driver back ?

From what I can see, your unit does not seems to have made the list, which leads me to believe that this will be the cause of the issue, I would recommend that you revert back to the previous version of Windows, and observe if the fault still occurs or not.

On the surface, both the Yoga 910 and Yoga 920 look nearly identical, but in my testing, I prefer one over the other. Let's dig deeper to see the differences between the two!To get this out of the way, both machines have 1TB PCIe storage, 16GB memory, and the Yoga 910 has the 7th gen i7-7550U processor, and the Yoga 920 has the 8th gen i7-8550U processor. 
 
Hardware & Design
Both the Yoga 910 and Yoga 920 are built out of aluminum, which gives them a high quality feel to them.  Both laptops have the keyboard integrated into the chassis, which means less keyboard flex. One thing that I find better in the Yoga 920 is the fact that it's all smooth edges around.  The Yoga 910 has pretty sharp edges which means you could scratch your surface or yourself.  The sharp edges of the Yoga 910 was a common complaint, and I'm glad they rectified it.

I've been looking around and found a few people who are very displeased with the logo startup/boot logo (example1, example2), but no way to change it as of yet. Is it possible without too much hassle? I know it's not a big deal but the logo is simply terrible in so many ways. If nothing, then at least I'm raising awareness and maybe Lenovo will choose a better graphic designer for our collective startup screens. I mean, seriously? Is that the best you could come up with?

A:Yoga 720 Lenovo boot logo. Is there a way to change it? (should be the same for every new Yoga).

I do not know of any way to easily change it without hackging the BIOS, nor would I waste time trying to do so since it is just the boot logo, and I am just happy to have it boot up.

Hi  We have purchased a Lenovo Yoga Laptop on 20.01.17. From 10th of April onwards , there is some issues with Laptop Power Button .We are not able to switch it on using power Button. We had a talk with call center executives, Senior Executives & service Head of Kolkata, but still there is no proper update. I have some problems with the Lenovo software. Lenovo Account Portal does not launch Lenovo Companion and Lenovo Settings. Also, Lenovo Solution Center is missing from the Start Menu. The second problem is that some tiles are blank in Start Menu. Seemingly it's the apps that aren't Metro. I'm not sure when the problem started, but I think it was like that since I got the PC. If I right click the apps, the only option will be "Pin to Start", and with some apps: Share and Rate. I read other posts and none specifically addressed this for the 920 and the use of what is actually a good Lenovo config tool seems to be poorly documented.   I would think it would be the same for any Yoga model with Windows 10 and Lenovo Vantage installed.   I can't seem to find a version for Vantage, so hopefully this works on all versions.    1) Find and open Lenovo Vantage on your machine (use Cortana if needed).   This is the Responsive view and yours may look different...don't worry, options are the same.  Click on Hardware settings  2)  Click on Input (again, responsive view...whatever view you have should have this button labeled the same)  3)  This will open the Hardware Setting - Input UI.   Under 'Function Keys' click on the one that is labeled 'F1-F12' (should look like below, highlighted in blue) to make that the the Function the default setting for those keys...to further clarify: it will now be a Function Key (F1-F12) by default.    With this change, you will press the FN+ one of the function key for the Hot Key option (e.g. FN+F1=mute/unmute, FN+F2=volume down, etc.)     4)  Your change is already saved, so you can now X-out (click X in the upper right) of the pop-up windows created by that were created

New Yoga 700-141SK: Ran the Lenovo Support Center Hardware Scan and the Video Card Mathematical Operations Test has failed rendering the Report: WVC007002-UL7BPL. Is there a tried and proven solution out there? I have had a look at the solutions on the forum and am not satisfied that the solutions offered prove that the problem has been resolved. It is reasonable to expect Lenovo to make available a solution as a matter of course instead of end-users of "afflicted" Lenovo devices having to request/search for a solution(s).

I bought the Lenovo yoga 900 in December as i was about start medical school, now after only about 6 months of use, while i was using it one evening, i decided to take a break from school work, when I got back to my computer it had powered down and tried to reboot but didn't make it pass the Lenovo screen, i tired exhausting the battery power and trying it again but to no avail. so my question is has anyone had this kind of problem before and if so what is the solution?Also is this a common problem and how long is the company warranty for my 6 month old computer, in case i need to give it back to get something more reliable, its kind of disheartening as i had believed this was the best decision i made for medical school, but now am left with the possibility of failing the semester due to faullty equipment. SOOO PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME SAVE MY SEMESTER. Thnak youjay

A:Lenovo Yoga 910 wont load pass the Lenovo screen.

Try getting into BIOS first and loading default settings. To do this, press the small "Novo" button (you'll need a paperclip for this), and select "BIOS setup". From there, use the arrow keys to get to the "exit" tab and select load default settings.

My son accidentally got his leg caught in the cord of his laptop when he got up and the laptop  fell approximately 2 feet to the tile floor.  It boots up but stays on the Lenovo splash screen.  If I go into the BIOS and select System Recovery it goes through the "Loading files..." process, the Lenovo splash screen appears with the dots going in a circle but, then after about 2 minutes of that the screen just goes black.  If I tilt the screen forward or back I can tell it is still backlit just with nothing to display.  Anything we can try?

On the Lenovo Onekey Recovery, I selected the option to restore system partition to its initial status. Now I'm not sure what this does exactly, but it then asked for what language I wanted to use and then username and password. And before I could type in anything, the screen turn black and no matter what I did, it wouldn't budge from there. Now I don't know if I accidentally removed windows and I don't know how to get it back. Does anyone know what options I have?

Hi,i have a new Yoga 3 Pro and the Camera doesn't seem to be working. In the Camera app, i see a crossed camera sign and can't use it on Skype either ( same crossed camera sign). I checked in the device manager- the latest driver for the Lenevo easy cam is installed and it says the device is woorking fine. Kindly help. Sangeeta.

Can you try the following:
1. Uninstall the Camera Driver from the Control Panel (icon views) > Programs and Features and reboot.
2. Re-install the Camera Driver from the D:\Drivers folder or from the Yoga 3 Pro Drivers Page and reboot.
3. Close all applications that uses the Camera (e.g., Skype) and go to http://www.testmycam.net to test the webcam and check if the Camera lights up.

3 months ago, I noticed that I was not able to use my camera during a video chat. Recently, when I tried to use the Windows 10 camera app, I got an error "We can't find your camera". I looked for the camera in my device manager, and it does not seem to be there. How do I get my camera back?

I have never tried to plug a speaker into my Yoga3. Trying to do so now with no luck. I have tested the speaker on another device and it works.Lets start with I am a novice. So please confirm where I should plug it in - hdmi, headphone jack or USB.I know, I feel really dumb.

When I try and use the camera  it tries to show the image, however all I get are broken "lines" across the screen. It started very close to the time of the latest windows 10 upgrades. Although I cannot definately say that is exactly when it happened. I was going to lowload the newest driver but I do not know where to look to see what type of camera/driver I have. Not computer savy... dj

My name is Raghavendra mishra.my mobile number is +918860610601.I Purchased a laptop on 9 th of feb 2017.when i open this laptop when i reach home then i found a red pixel on the screen.then i call to support team of lenovo for DOA. After hearing me they tell to send the picture of screen to sosupport after one day they say that we cant see any pixels so i visit customer service centre at noida after diagnosing my system they send all report that they found spot on screen to lan care.after one day i received call from support team and they say your DOA request and part replacement team has been denied they say that this is a general issue.and we cant do any thing.i m very disappointed after buying this laptop because i don't expect this type of service from lenovo.I attach the pics of screen where a red spot on left upper side of screen is found. thanks&rgards Raghavendra Mishra

I was recently received a Yoga 13 that had been reformatted and manually installed with Windows 10. Everything about the notebook worked as intended, except for the camera, which is not found by the Camera app (error code 0xA00F4244(0xC00D36D5)) and there was no camera driver listed in Device Manager. I have attempted to install the camera driver off of the link [http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/Yoga-Series/Yoga-13-Notebook-IdeaPad/d...], but I seem to be unable to properly start installation and I'm still having the issues above.

Whenever I activate the camera on my Yoga 910s the machine bluescreens. I've tried the windows camera app, Skype, Microsoft Teams...  with each one the system immediately crashes as the camera is accessed. In an attempt to remedy, I have used the Lenovo companion app to install any and all recommended driver and BIOS updates.

I tried basically everything that I have found on internet, including factory reset, reinstalling camera drivers, removing Lenovo Companion, pressing F8 or FN+F8 etc but the camera still won't work. It's not even listed under hidden devices in Device Manager. I've seen solution to turn off private mode in Lenovo Settings but unfortunatelly Lenovo Setting has merged with Companion so no luck here. I will be gratefull for any advise before RMA. Thanks

Dear all, I am using Lenovo 510 with Windows 10. I was using my laptop for 2 weeks without any problem. Suddeny, my camera is missing now. I tried to install the driver again but it says there is no device. Even in device manager I cannot see imaging devices sub section to reinstall camera. None of the applications running the camera. Facebook, camera app, skype etc. Please help.Thank you.

Hi, My camera is not working where I get the error message 0xA00F4244(0xC00D36D5) in the windows camera app.  The camera worked perfectly on 08/03/17 but did not work at all today. I checked the drivers and got this.Name: EasyCameraDevice type: Imaging devicesManufacturer: BisonLocation: 0000.0014.0000.005.000.000.000.000.000Device status: Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer (Code 45). To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.  There is an option to click called "learn how" in the windows camera app along with the error code, this lead me the microsoft website where I followed one of the steps to resolve this issue. I tried to update the driver which didn't work then I tried the option "Uninstall your webcam driver and scan for hardware changes". A:Camera Not Working - Yoga 510-14ISK

I managed to resolve this immediately after posting all that and going through all of that ordeal... I looked at my keyboard, saw the camera symbol on F8 and decided to press it to see if it does anything. The camera was reenabled and back to working perfectly. I remember someone in the past week decided to press loads of keys on my keyboard messing, turns out they pressed F8... So if you have this issue try pressing F8 or the alternative button on your computer before you do anything! Or you could end up wasting an entire evening and night (literally) searching forums for information trying to fix it yourself, being on with customer support remotely accessing your computer, reinstalling windows and loads of drivers, uninstalling your antivirus and also being told by Lenovo to reset your laptop to factory settings in their email support.   Hope my embarrassing situation saves you hassle in the future, also to show you to learn to laugh at yourself when something like this happens, I know I certainly am now. Good luck, Thomas
