Q: Winamp - last few days to get the latest PRO upgrade

Hi there
Anybody who has Winamp PRO and wants the final version (5.666) you only have until Dec 20 to download.

The Freebie has already gone and so has the store (you can't buy a copy if you don't already have it).

Preferred Solution: Winamp - last few days to get the latest PRO upgrade

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Yes, the RAM can be upgraded to 2X16 = 32 G.
The internal GPU cannot be upgraded - you'd need to buy an external Alienware graphics amplifier and use an external GPU to upgrade.

Hi there

While I generally LIKE winamp - this is a classic example of how NOT to provide upgrades- and I'm surprised since somebody with the backing of AOL should IMO know better -- we aren't talking about a single developer "under the railway arches" here.

When you upgrade it will fail with two files - won't let you delete them.

You also can't actually delete these easily from W7 either - even with the Take ownership facility-- I had to delete these by using another machine on the LAN.

Now I LIKE Winamp (OK there are other applications) but ripping to FLAC and having the Gracenote CDDB facility to create tags automatically for track / artist labelling are worth it for me.

So c'mon winamp developers -- you've got a decent product - but DO try fixing the upgrade so it doesn't "lock" files.

Cheers
jimbo

A:Winamp upgrade - can't delete 2 files

I've been using Winamp for years, however, I haven't got around to installing it since I installed Win 7. I'll have to do that.

But, with the poor software track record of AOL it's not surprising that there are problems. The AOL software for dial-up connections was always buggy.

I?m not sure how it happened, but my Windows 7 laptop started doing an upgrade to Win 10 four days ago, and it still seems to be in the process. The hard drive light periodically flashes. Control/Alt/Delete does nothing. When I power down and try to power back up into safe mode it shows me the Win 10 windows logo and then continues the upgrade process never allowing me into safe mode. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?

A:Win 10 Upgrade Hang Ė Four Days and Counting

Turn it off, unplug it, and remove the battery. Hold the Start Button down for one minute, and then put it back together and turn it on. If that doesn't get you back into 7, it's possible that you have had a hardware failure.

Hi,
I have bought a new XPS 13 (512 gb, i7) just last week and am now trying to upgrade to windows 10. The installation is taking unnormally long however. The update is already running for 30 hours and is still just at 9 procent.
Does anyone know what to do about this? This is already the second time I try. The first time I stopped the update after 12 hours when it not yet reached 1% and started the update manually with the program of microsoft which forces the update.

A:Windows 10 Upgrade taking several days on XPS 13

Hi,
I think our laptop hardware (512 GB SSD) is not compatible yet to windows 10. I have some problem with you,and I tried 5 times already. in fact, many XPS 13 with same specs have same problems. See this post:

Btw, I already ask dell support in my country, and he suggest that I wait another one or two month if I'm not in hurry to upgrade. Therefore, for me, I will wait for another 2 month before try to upgrade again.
Hope this helps!

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-P61-S3 (rev. 2.0)

Ive managed to update/flash (its the same thing?) my bios from F5 to F7 version within an utility provided by motherboard manufacturer called @BIOS ( you can find it on the same support and download section ). I had 3 options to update: from server, file or drive and I choosed the 1st one. The latest F8 version is no longer BETA but I couldnt upgrade to it at least not from server and I think I really need this since its more than half an year ahead of the previous.

However I downloaded the F8 files from manufacturer page , unpacked them and I had 3 files : one windows BATCH file "autoexec"
one aplication "Efiflash" and the F8 file p62s3.f8( I guess I need to put it on a flash drive ) .While atempting to run the 1st one I got the unsupported 16-bit aplication, with Efiflash something similar " this app cant run on this pc" message from windows 8.
So should I put them on a flash drive and then from bios menu to enter Q-flash and select update from drive or maybe doing the same witht hat utility I mentioned above? I have a Sandisk cruzer blade 16 gb.Is this good for this operation?

A:Cant upgrade to the latest BIOS

efiflash is a DOS utility. You'd want to prepare a bootable DOS USB drive and run it from that.

I'm not familiar with Qflash, but if it's equivalent to Asus' EZ Flash, that would be the simpler way to do it. I wonder whether you'd need to add the right file extension to the actual BIOS file. (For most Asus boards, the extension is .rom, but for some it's .cap.)

I'd suggest that that you read the manual, but I don't see anything about BIOS updates in the downloadable version. Shame.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would be grateful if you can let me know ? I have Windows 8.1, I want to have clean install Windows 10 but first I want upgrade to Windows 10 ? keep this for few days to see everything is WORKING and OK then do CLEAN INSTALL of Windows 10. Can I do this ? If yes then please guide me or let me know how to do this. My email address is <removed>

Once more thanks and I do appreciate for all the advise.

Yours faithfully,

AK

A:First Upgrade to Windows 10 then after few days CLEAN INSTALL

I have removed your email address - ALL communication and support should be kept in the forums as per our rules
ALSO putting your email on public forums is the quickest way to get spam

Yes you can do that using the ISO from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

You must do an upgrade first - so that MS can see an orginal valid license for the software and then assign a windows 10 key
After the upgrade you can then do a clean install

I would wait a bit longer than a few days , to check everything works OK
With the upgrade you can revert back to the original software for upto 30days after the upgrade and then the windows.old folder will be deleted

I would make sure you make a note fo your old windows key before the upgrde
With 8.1
that would be obtained by running www.belac.com or https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

1. When I boot the computer it turns on for a second or two then resets and boots a second time. The second time everything goes smoothly. It doesn't seem to be getting past the Bios so I don't believe it's a Win 7 problem.
Interestingly enough if I put the computer to sleep from Windows it doesn't have a problem waking up.

2. Not overclocked. Just running factory settings/ When I'm not doing hardly anything. Just browsing the internet. The computer freezes. No BSOD or Black screen. Just a freeze with the monitor on

3. When I stress test using Prime. If I run more then 4 Threads of prime, the CPU throttles itself in half and shows 2,250MHZ, Using 5 Cores it's borderline switching back and forth. Then 6-8 Threads of prime immediate throttle.

For the moment I've turned the clock down and am running at 4.4ghz. Don't know yet whether this temporarily solves the Freezing Problem.

DIANAKD Hello;Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!I wish I had good news for you -- but I don't ... While Microsoft tells you that there is no risk in the Win10 Upgrade, because they let you believe that you can always revert back to your original OS and setup within 30 days, the ugly fact of the matter is that the Win10 GoBack function has proven to be unreliable -- and when it fails, it can leave machines in a corrupted state -- which doesn't always happen, but it does happen often enough to be a problem and you won't get any warning in advance that it is going to trash your PC!If that is not bad enough, the Win10 Upgrade is know, in some cases, to corrupt the Recovery partition stored there by the OEM that built the original machine. This pretty much guarantees that no HP Recovery is going to work: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/HP-Recovery-Manager-Blocked-After-Windo... At this point, the ONLY way to restore her prior OS is through something known as HP Recovery Media. HP Recovery Media is a set of DVDs and a CD, or USB stick, that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, settings, and applications, reinstall the original OS, drivers, and some HP Utilities. First off, let me start by saying that I have a budget of $500, and I run on Windows 98. I have a lot of questions, so please bear with me. You donít have to answer them all.

Now, itís definite that Iím getting a hardware upgrade now for Christmas. Before I get into details, Iíd like to say that any general information on installing the pieces to be mentioned would be much appreciated. Also, Iím talking about regular stores such as Staples and such for purchase. Iíve never gotten anything online. That means one general question for all subjects is Ďwhatís the best one that can be brought for a low priceí?

First and foremost, thereís a hard drive in the mix. I want to get a new hard drive, and any new one I get is bound to have at least 4 times more storage data than I have now. I want to get at least 80 gigabytes (GB) to be split between 3 disk drives.
1a.) Would it be better to add a hard drive opposed to replacing the one I have now? I want more data for the stuff I have now, and I donít want anything on my computer changed.
1b.) If I do want to replace the hard drive I have now anyway it goes, how hard will it be to install? Are there any sites you can recommend for helping me do this?
Is there a way I can bring my old programs and files onto the new drive? If thereís a program to do that, will that program cost me?

Hello,
First and foremost, I would like to thank any and all who assist in these forums; this is a great service that you all volunteer your time to!

Enough **** kissing, and onto the meat:
AMD 3400 64
ASUS K8N mobo (hp garbage)
100 G HD
ATI X850XT AGP
5 cooling fans
Raidmax 420W PSU (brand-new came with the case)

I swapped a HP a530n over to a raidmax case. I have been using the PC playing BF2/WoW since Saturday without any problems. However, yesterday, something bad happened.

The symptoms: The computer operates normally for sometime (prob 10-30 mins) after it is turned on. Then it the HD will rev up..I mean REV up, and click. This happens a few times, and it reverts to a blue screen. The blue screen states, "Windows has been turned off in order to prevent corruption."

Now I smelled the PSU, and I think I detected a burned electrical smell. I am wondering if it is the el cheapo PSU that came w/ the case, the HD? or maybe a gremlin?

A:RaidMax Case Upgrade/ PC Ran Great for days; now it's going nuts!

Rest assured, that Raidmax is ONE piece of CRAP. The rest should be fine.
Never EVER trust a built-in PSU (except in Antec cases).
Go get a proper PSU from the likes of Enermax, Fortron or Antec. 400W upwards should do fine.

Hey guys,

So far I've been less than impressed with Windows 10's system permissions. I am in the Administrators group, as the only user on my PC, but yet I still have to provide UAC confirmation any time I try to do anything system-related. A bit ironic, no?

Well, for some programs this is a huge issue. I'm using an older version of Winamp to play my music (long story short, the new versions have a lot of shareware crap built in, since they stopped making it a free program and instead wanted you to pay...)
It's an old program, probably from 2003 or something, but it's worked fine on every version of Windows so far. Rather than using %appdata%, it just stores its settings locally. Winamp.ini and winamp.m3u store the settings and location of most recently played file respectively, and they're located in C:/Program Files (x86)/Winamp

Right, so here's the thing. I have a mIRC script that reads Winamp's activity, and can show what song I am playing. If I run the app normally, it will not modify winamp.m3u (even though I've already edited the permissions of that file and the entire Winamp folder so that Users have full control... shouldn't matter since I'm admin but I digress). If I do "run as administrator", play a song and close the program, the m3u DOES get updated with the new song's location. However... my mIRC script doesn't behave when I do that, since the script still runs as a normal user like any other program, and somehow it just takes the bitrate, fi... Read more

A:Winamp Issues with winamp.m3u and permissions

This is not a Windows 10 issue, it's working as it should, protecting the Program Files folder as designed. By default Windows protects the system folders with global security settings, everything placed for instance in Program Files and Program Files x86 folders inherit these global settings only giving users and groups permissions to Read, Read & execute and List folder contents.

Your case is a typical example of this, another is for instance trying to save a text document from Notepad to Program Files or Windows folders; it won't work when Notepad is run normally giving Access Denied error, but can be done if Notepad is run as the built-in administrator.

In your case it's not you as an admin user who should get the write permissions, it's (as far as I know) the group ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES:

However, I do not recommend changing the default security settings of system folders. A far more simple solution would be to reinstall the software in question in another location, not in a system folder. Install your older WinAmp for instance to D:\WinAmp and you should have no issues, subject to you being able to edit your mIRC script to change the location from where it retrieves the information.

My Dell Inspiron 15R laptop is 6 years old.  It came with Windows 7 installed.  Service tag 4DHR1N1.

It was auto-upgraded to WIndows 10 when this first came out.
Since then all the Windows 10 upgrades have worked upgrades have worked OK - until yesterday.

Before this, there had been an unsuccessful attempt to load
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 for Windows 10 Version 1607 and Windows Server 2016 for x64 (KB3186568)

The first time it tried to upgrade, when I powered up, it went straight to "Restoring your previous version of Windows"
- even though Update History reported the successful installation of
2017-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4025339)

It then asked me to schedule an update installation time.

Following this, when I attempted to start the laptop, I got the Windows logo and spinning dots for a few seconds - then my laptop shut down.  I noticed that the fan was putting out warmer air than usual.

This happened the following 4 times I attempted to reboot the laptop.  Screen live for a few seconds, then shut-down.

On the 6th attempt, I finally got the message "Restoring your previous version of Windows".  And my laptop is now working again.

Is there ANY way I can either stop the automatic update from crashing my computer, or revert to Windows 7?

2 days ago my husband was using the computer when a Windows upgrade popped up. He installed it. At the end of installation, a message said that Internet Explorer was not currently installed as default browser, and did we want to install it? We think he clicked No. (sorry to be vague about this). When we next tried to get onto the Web, we had a completely new home page, almost entirely blank. It does not respond to any commands; sometimes it actually freezes, but usually it is just so slow that essentially nothing happens, and it stops us using any other programmes. I noticed in task manager that it seems to be using a huge amount of memory. We can get into a workable version by going into Applications:System tools: Internet Explorer without add-ons, but we can't use any music programmes or run video/music clips. The three upgrades/patches we installed were Update for Windows XP KB904942, Hotfix for Windows XP KB914440 and Security update for Windows XP KB920213. Can anyone tell us what has happened, and what to do about it? Thanks very much, Angela

A:Problems with Internet explorer following latest WX upgrade

Hi Angela

Does the new IE icon have a golden orbit around a blue letter e? If so, it sounds like one of the updates may have been IE7. Something on your system might conflict with it, or perhaps something went wrong during the installation. You can try uninstalling the last three hotfixes, then reverting to IE6 SP1 - and see if things are better. If still problematic, try a System Restore using a restore point from just before you installed IE7.

Also run thorough scans for malware infections - these can slow your Internet dramatically. Depending on what the screen looked like, it could have been a malware "scam" or "Phishing" exploit that generated the official-looking window. If you find you have a serious infection, try the 5-Step Security Checklist --- http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...kthis-log.html

Also, if you revert to IE6, visit Windows Update again - manually - and make sure the patches are up-to-date.

Best of luck

Okay here's the deal;
I have seven of these to set up for users here at work, and we have several applications that need to be preconfigured and standardized for users. Thus the boot into Audit Mode for setup and Sysprepping with "CopyProfile=True" in my xml file.

First two bombed and Microsoft Support has been no help. Their suggestion is that I return it to the point of purchase as defective. I'll skip the obvious rant and move on.

First symptom that reared its ugly head was that accounts that log in after the latest version update are flawed in that the Start Menu doesn't work and there's no context menu on icons in the taskbar. I haven't dug any deeper for symptoms.

Second symptom, which came up after a fresh image downloaded from Microsoft was freezing during SysPrep, but on this attempt I installed all the updates before I sysprepped instead of after.

The second Surface exhibited the same symptoms as the first. It was SysPrepped, then updated.

I know the short answer is either "don't upgrade" or "don't sysprep" but neither of those are viable options. I can (I think) block the upgrade from happening, but that's not really what I want to do. Not SysPrepping means I'm going to be holding a LOT of hands helping users configure their profiles and hunting down applications, not something I have time for.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. Also, if I've missed something, just ask. I'll flag this thread for notificat... Read more

They happen randomly so as soon as i boot up some after 10-30 minutes. It will also freeze without giving a BSOD and having to be manually restarted.
the different BSOD codes are;INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

*sorry for the typo in the title

Remove all software from IObit & Slimdrivers and use a restore point prior the use of them.
If you've used IObit & slimdrivers software before you upgraded, I recommend to do a clean install and only get the drivers from legimate sources.
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.

Hi, everyone. I just installed the latest version of Firefox (3.something), and something strange happened: there's now a big, maybe 1/2 inch empty bar near the top of my windows, stuck in below the strip of bookmark things (those quick links you can drag onto a toolbar) and right above StumbleUpon, the one add-on I have. I attached a screenshot of the problem -- take a look. So far I've tried starting it up in safe mode and resetting my toolbars/extensions, but no luck. Any suggestions?

A:Weird blank strip with latest Firefox upgrade

Some of the themes that supposedly are OK with the new version are not working completely as they were I've found - maybe over the next couple of weeks new updates of the themes, extensions etc. will start coming thru and working properly

Current Lenovo firmware for the EM7455 is 02.20.03.22, however Sierra Wireless has a newer version, 2.24.05.06 listed here: https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/minicard/74xx/airprime-em_mc74xx-approved-fw-pa... After flashing with the newer version and rebooting, the card reverts back to 2.20.03.22. Has anyone else experience this? Is this something the carrier would dictate and enforce? Any help would be appreciated. Reason for upgrading is, when traveling internationally the unit has spotty connectivity and not very reliable. Hoping firmware upgrade would be a step in the right direction to resolving it.

Hello,

Dell just release a new Thunderbolt firmware 4.26.03.001 ,A07
I installed it, and it seems to have destroyed my external HDMI port.
I tested it with different monitors and cables.
On some monitors the colors are inverted (white goes black). Some monitors don't display anything.

I hope the upgrade caused no hardware defect to the HDMI port.
Unfortunately I cannot find the old Thunderbolt firmware to got back.

Regards
Oliver

A:XPS 9550: Latest Thunderbolt firmware upgrade destroys HDMI port

Same. Installed the new firmware successfully, restarted and now my HDMI port is more or less dead. The Laptop still detects the external monitor but it won't output anything.
Tried reinstalling the Intel HD Graphics driver, changing resolution, different cable, different monitor... nothing helps.

Vostro 360 upgraded to Windows 10 (via ISO).
Built-in panel video is corrupted (vertical stripe down center that suggests panel failure).External monitor works fine. However, built-in panel works during boot for both BIOS and Windows 10 logo screen, and also works in Safe Mode. Additionally, the panel works fine after it comes out of sleep mode.Any time the video mode changes (e.g. by a resolution change, plugging in an external monitor, or starting the computer) the built-in panel will be garbled. Causing the system to sleep and unsleep (even immediately after startup) will correct the built-in panel video corruption.Driver installed by Windows 10 is: Intel(R) HD GraphicsDriver Date: 5/27/2015Driver Version: 9.17.10.4229I update a Vostro 360 Windows 7 system with the latest Intel HD Graphics driver, I will get the same behaviour, so it's almost certainly a driver issue. What confuses me is that no-one has mentioned a similar problem, and many have mentioned successful upgrades to Windows 10. Am I just unlucky with my systems, or is there some software variable that could mask (or create) the problem? On Windows 7, I can revert to an older driver to make the problem go away. This is difficult on Windows 10, as it continually upgrades to the latest driver.Closest similar issue is an unresolved red/green/blue colour cycling problem.http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/dell-vostro-360-and-optional-intel-graphics-driver/2fbf78e7-2c1b-4986-b711-add8... hey guys, i came across this a little while ago: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/875-activation-trial-period-extend-up-120-days.html it says if i run that command Windows7 evaluation period will be extended by 30 days each time it's done. however, when i do it it only extends for 3 days. is there any way to make it last longer or has it changed?

thanks

A:Extending Evaluation Period for 120 days.. only extends for 3 days?

If you have a valid copy of windows 7 with a legit COA sticker and can activate it without problems i dont see any need to even have an evaluation period. If your copy of windows 7 isnt valid and the COA sticker isnt anygood id suggest you buy a proper copy of windows 7 with a legit COA sticker and go from there.Because eventually it wont work anymore and you will be locked out of the computer.

Hi folks,
When windows 10 was first released I downloaded it and burned to DVD using the media creation tool from Microsoft.
As windows 10 has now had a major update, and I want to create a DVD with that update on it, without having to reinstall it later, as I have other partitions on my computer to update to 10 as well.
So my query is, does anyone know if I was to download windows 10 32 bit from Microsoft again (using the media creation tool from Microsoft) will it include the latest major update to 10?
Thanks for any help

A:Is windows 10 latest big update included in latest media creation tool

Microsoft has made available a download able iso for win 10 1511. If you don't see download link on win pc then try on some other device.. like an android phone or tablet. That's how I got it downloaded and had clean installed. Hope this helps.

Greetings!

I have Acer Aspire 5750G. My current BIOS version is 1.07. The latest version is 1.12.

There are a few versions in between. Should I do incremental updates and reach 1.12 or should I just go direct to 1.12?

Many Thanks!

A:BIOS - Incremental updates to latest vrsn or direct update to latest?

Bios updates are cumulative, so you only need the latest.

You also don't need to update the bios unless there is a fix in it/them that fixes an issue you may be having. For the most part updating the bios is as easy as updating a driver, only if a bios update goes wrong you can't roll back to the old and you basically end up with a nice paperweight.

As I understand it, with the new anniversary update after 10 days one will get disk space back relating to Windows.old being deleted automatically (if PC is left idle for a while).

i also believe that if a PC upgrades to Windows 10 then the new anniversary update wouldn't be offered until 30 days have elapsed. However with the aforementioned change to 10 days for rolling back the anniversary update I wonder if that now also rings true for previous 10586/TH2 build? We got a new mini PC approx 10 days ago, Windows 10 was pre installed but it was a really old build, pre 10586/TH2. I checked for updates and it immediately set about updating to last novembers 10586. However I am now confused as to whether I need to wait 10 days or 30 days for Windows update to offer it the new Anniversary update. I am totally happy to wait for Windows update to do its thing rather than use MCT etc, just curious about the timescales involved given MS has changed from 30 to 10 on the latest version

cheers, Wayne

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would be grateful if you can let me know ? I have Windows 8.1, I want to have clean install Windows 10 but first I want upgrade to Windows 10 ? keep this for few days to see everything is WORKING and OK then do CLEAN INSTALL of Windows 10. Can I do this ? If yes then please guide me or let me know how to do this. My email address is <removed>

Once more thanks and I do appreciate for all the advise.

Yours faithfully,

AK

A:First Upgrade to Windows 10 then after few days CLEAN INSTALL Windows 10

Spider Player - The Ultimate Music Player

I use other stuff as well, depends on what I want to do.

Hey,

Does anyone know how to get rid of the browser tab in winamp 5.541(whatever the latest one is)? Also how do you remove/disable wmp11?

Cheers,
Joronamo.

A:Winamp

I'm not sure about the browser tab that you speak of, as for deleting WMP11, it cannot be done. WMP11 is built into the OS and therefore cannot be deleted. The only suggestion is to associate all your media files with Winamp (or whichever media player you use) and ignore WMP.

Hope this helps

I kept getting pop ups yesterday about a new version of WinAmp available for downloading. So to avoid getting these continuous messages whan attempting to play sound files, I downloaded it. Big mistake. After this my system froze. Then when I re-booted, I couldn't access the Internet. I ran a ping and a tracert, but my modem just didn't seem to be getting any feedback from the TCP. then when I went to sghut doen the system, I got the fatal exception error blue screen. I'm on my work computer now. Any ideas about what I can do about this. If I uninstall the new WinAmp, will it automatically revert to the older version to play sound files?

My system is an 800 MHZ Pentium III processor running Windows 98se as an OS and it has 256 MB RAM. I looked at the WinAmp site and this is compatible with the requirements of the software. HAs anyone else used WinAmp to play sounds?

This is going to go here though I'm not sure if its supposed to.
My winamp player has been going completely wacky today and I can't seem to figure out why.
There are a bunch of certain files that I've had forever, music files, that were playing yesterday yet for some unknown, annoying reason, won't play today. I don't think their corrupted because, well, I don't see how entire CD's can corrupt themselves. One or two songs, yeah, but I've never had entire CD's do it.
So, any suggestion/help would be very much appreciated
EDIT
I forgot to mention that I re-installed the latest version and all and yet, got nothing.

Q: Winamp

Does anyone know what Winamp is? If so, mine started messing up starting today. When I Double-click a song, its added to the Play List. (which is ok) But normally, when I double-click a different song, the first one will be dropped from the Play List and the sencond one will take its place. But for some reason, Winamp is just ADDING the second song to the Play List and NOT dropping the first song. I have no clue why this started. I've checked all the preferences and options but I still can't figure it out. I was hoping someone might know whats wrong with it. Thanks.
