I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hello All, OK, so i have a very strange issue.  A customer has 16 M715q units (AMD A12's with Realtek NIC card & 128GB SSD) configured in a retail environment.   The customer had complained that occasionally things would be slow on various machines, but i was unable to predicably reproduce the issue with their POS software.  Today, I noticed during some work that my local RDP connection to one of our local servers was showing a "poor" connection and windows were dragging quite slowly.  This was quite strange as the systems are all connected 1Gbps to a Cisco switch and then 10Gbps via fibre backbone to our Cisco switch in the server rack which is then 10Gbps copper directly to the servers. I started to do some testing of file copys/transfers to our servers and noticed my sustained speed was anywhere between 8 - 35 MB/s (megabytes per second) which i considered inadequate considering our backbone speed.  I tried updating drivers, OS, firmware and was unable to get any better.  I thought there may have been a wiring or a switch issue, so i tested a different M710 unit (i5 with Intel NIC Card & 256 GB SSD this time) on a different network port/switch and was able to get 90 - 120 MB (megabytes) per second transfer speed.  I then moved it and saw 90 - 120 MB to our servers on the exact same network port as the first system.  At first i thought something was wrong as it went too fast, but different files c... I am having difficulty getting USB peripherals (keyboard and mouse specificially) to work on a Windows 7 image on a M715q Tiny. The SCCM package has been added to the Deployment Workbench but the keyboard and mouse don't get recognized by the computer. I've also tried installing the USB 3.0 drivers found on the Lenovo website (though I haven't found a link with an .exe that is specifically for the 715q) and run through the AMD driver install wizard.  I'm hoping someone has encountered this issue and has a fix for it.

Hi, I have a Tiny M715q (Win 10 vers. 1709) that has trouble waking from sleep ever since firmware M11KT41A was successfully installed on Feb. 19th. If I move the mouse or press the keyboard - it does not wake as before.  If I press the power button (once), the Windows 10 login screen briefly appears, then the screen goes black and the monitor displays "No Signal".  The only way to resolve this is to press & hold power button to power off Tiny, then restart Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks!Al

I'm wondering if the m700 Tiny supports UASP. I'm currently running Windows 7 Pro, which does not natively support UASP. Windows 10 does. I guess I'm reluctantly willing to "upgrade" if the Tiny supports UASP at all. Does anyone know for sure i.e. not speculating? Have you personally tried it?

For all of our desktops we have the display set to turn off after 1 hour of inactivity to save power and extend the life of the monitor.  With the Tiny-In-One 24 & M700 Tiny, once the monitor turns off, it won't wake back up by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard.  The Tiny is still running just fine I can remote to it from another machine but even remoting to it and logging in does not wake the screen.  This is with the TIO running in AIO mode.  The only way to wake the screen is to use the user controls on the front of the monitor to switch to DP mode and back to AIO mode.

Is this a know bug?  Running Windows 7 and I've already reinstalled all drivers and ran the lenovo system update utility and everything is up-to-date.  I also set the display to turn off after only a minute to do more testing and about 1 in every 10 tries, the monitor will wake up normally.  The rest of the time I have to use the user controls on the front of the monitor.

The LGA1150 cooler I have doesn't fit this one - the screw holes are in different spots. Are there any available aftermarket CPU cooler options out there for the M92p? I don't mind keeping the case open with a huge cooler. I see the M93p has a proper heatsink, anyone knows how cross compatible these machines are? Can anyone with a M710/M910 Tiny please run RW Everything and save the full PCI data to a file and attach it to this thread. If you run Linux instead the command is 'lspci -vvv -xxx' (run as root). I think they have fixed the m.2 PCIe/NVMe SSD bug in the UEFI for it based on the recent changelog entry. If they have then we should be able to get them to fix it for the m900 Tiny as well. In particular I'm interested in the bytes 4Ch - 4Fh in the PCI configuration space for each of the PCIe ports. RWEverything CHANGES for M1AKT15A

It seems like the DisplayPort showing on the back of the monitor is only for plugging a separate device into the screen, not video out to a second monitor from the PC. Is that right?

When you say "installed into a monitor", it's a Tiny-in-One monitor?  It would help to know which model.  Pretty sure you would need to connect the 2nd monitor direct to the Tiny itself, is there a way to do that with it installed in the monitor?

I am trying to determine the difference between the M920q Tiny and the M920x Tiny base units. The specifications are not clear about the differences, they seem virtually identical with enourmous overlap in their configuration options but they are described as having two different machine types. M920x Machine Type = 10S1 and M920q Machine Type = 10RS. There is so much overlap that it appears to be possible to literally build an M920x and M920q with identical configurations other than the Machine Type. I suspect the difference is something about the motherboard, but they both use the same Q370 Chipset and have the same Tiny form factor case. The Q version seems to only accept the 35W CPU's (for example the i7-8700T 2.4GHz) and the X version can be configured with the 65W CPU's (for example the i7-8700 3.2GHz). It appears that both can be configured with an adapter that allows use of a low profile PCIe card in place of the various "rear port options". However, the X models list some versions with an add-in PCIe card for the AMD Radeon 560 4GB GPU which are only configured with the 35W CPUs. This leads me to believe the difference may simply be increased power and/or cooling in the X models, but both the Q and X models can be configured with the 135W Power Supply. It's entirely unclear, but I also suspect the X model might have a second M.2 slot for a second SSD stick, because specs for the X mention support for RAID 0/1. I've spent hours pouring over the available onli... I have an M900 Tiny that has a intermittent problem with dropping brightness on the displayport out. I'm not setting it anywhere. Sometimes when coming out of sleep (windows 7 x64 Pro) it just won't send video. I can swap the DP cable to another monitor and the problem is the same. A hard reboot solves it, leading me to think it's definitely something WRT the sleep/video configuration. I've had it running in Maximum Performance power mode with no OS sleep settings, just 'turn off the monitor after 6 minutes'. The video driver version is: 20.19.15.4474 This is a somewhat recent problem, as it hasn't always done this. Anyone run into a similar situation? And found an actual fix/solution? Different Intel chipset implies a different motherboard.   Providing processor, memory, storage is the same speed, I would suspect that the performance is the same or similar.

Hey everyone. I own a m715q mini with the 9700e CPU. I was wondering since this has the am4 socket if it is possible to upgrade it to the new ryzen Apu's. Has anyone done this yet? It would greatly enhance the preformance of the compute and graphics aspect of the computer. Things I am worried about is that bios wise that the newer CPUs won't be supported dispite it being the same socket. If anyone has any information I would love to hear it.

When I turn it on it started making a really disruptive noise with its fan. After entering the BIOS I've found the system ICE (Intelligent Cooling Engine), it had enabled by default "Better Acoustic Performance". I tried all the three modes Better Acoustic Performance | Better Thermal Performance | Full Speed and the three of them seems to be the same noise. I've recorded the audio here to have a better understanding of the problem, the noise is really loud and distracting. The first seconds were recorded to have a reference before turning on the device, turned it on and then after a few seconds running I've shutdown it.

Bought it brand new direct from Lenovo, it has not worked correctly since day one. It is a M715Q Tiny. When computer goes to "sleep" (which it cannot actually do, it is not alive) it will not "wake up". Fan runs a full speed, and green power button just flashes off and on. Absolutely nothing will restart it except to unplug the power supply. Spent hours and hours trying to get ahold of Lenovo support, after many hours over a few days of cussing and swearing, I was able to talk to someone. They filed some sort of reapir order. The next day I was told via e-mail the part for the computer was back ordered and no release date. I purchased the thing 3 May 2017!No one ever looked at it, nothing, how do they know what's wrong with it? I've been trying for a month to get it fixed, it is almost useless! If I set it so it cannot "sleep" it seems to work, but that is not the solution!I need to use the thing a work, but can't rely on it.Any ideas? It has to be a software problem. I've done all the lenovo updates and tests, nothing works!

Have my eyes on both models for a while. The main difference as I can tell they use difffernt Chipset: M710 -B250 Chipset, M910-Q270 Chipset. They both supports M.2 NVMe SSD which I will use as the OS drive unlike the M700/M900 pair. I prabably won't need V-pro as this will be my personal desktop at home. My question is that is there any reason that I should consider M910 over M710 tiny for my home usage? I know there are more 24 PCIe lanes on the Q270 Chipset over that 12 lanes on B250. But I don't think M910 tiny took advantage of that, am I right?

Hello All, We have installed about 30+ of these desktops into our CallCenter. Each workstation's Network setup looks like:     Wall Port ---> Cisco IP Phone 7941 ---> m715q Desktop On about 10 or so of these desktops we have been having some networking issues. When we connect these Desktop PCs to the "PC Port" of the Cisco IP Phone, within a few seconds the IP Phone looses all network connectivity and the desktop is never able to get a network connection via an Ethernet connection. I have tried different versions of the NIC firmware with no change. The strange part is, it's only with a handful of these desktops that are seeing this issue. If I go to one of these workstations and I disconnect the Ethernet cable from the m715q the phone instantly regains network connectivity within about 5 seconds. Plugging the cable back into the desktop and the connection again drops. I've also taken other m715q's that don't seem to be having the issue and plug it in at a workstation that was having the issue, it does not appear to happen for that desktop. If I try plugging my T470 laptop into the same Ethernet cable of one of the problem workstatsions, the phone remains connected and my laptop gets a wired connection successfully. Has anyone else seen this issue or know what the issue could be with this? Thanks in Advance,Matt

Anyone else have this issue? A few months ago we had two clients purchase a number of M715q's. Client #1 ordered 3, client #2 ordered 6 Client #1 has had 2/3 of their units randomly shut down. Not the standard OS shutdown, but almost as if it was losing power. The computers are plugged into power sources that had kept their previous computers up and running, even though the old ones had a larger power draw Client #2 is the same deal. 4/6 units there had expereinced the random crashes.  The crash will happen daily for some, or only 2 times a month for others. There is no helpful information in logs, and prolonged diagnostics always come back clean. Lenovo has already replaced system boards on the affected machines, but it did not correct the issue. At this point I either need a resolution to this issue, or replacement units we can replace them with. I haven't seen any talk of this issue on the web, and imagine it must have been a bad batch. Any input would be appreciated.

I thought I would share some experiences regarding overclocking AMD?s Ryzen processor.

Currently I am running an Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VI board [it replaced an asrock Taichi board] I have to say I am impressed with the asus. With the Taichi, I could never get my 1700X above 3.9gig even with vcore raised to 1.47V. With the asus, 4.0gig with voltage at 1.37; not bad at all. IMO vcore should be kept as close to 1.35V as possible just for longevity of the processor. This is a personal preference on my part.

Overclocking Ryzen does require a little more work than Intel however Ryzen has incredible performance. Just to give an idea of the multicore performance, I have two personal systems; an Intel 7600K [overclocked to 4.5gig and a Ryzen 1700X [overclocked to 4.0gig] On single core benchmarks, the Intel has a slight advantage [not a big surprise since it is clocked higher] On multicore benchmarks, the Ryzen system blows the Intel out of the water. Literally doubling the cinebench cpu score. On Realbench, Ryzen wins again by a 35% margin.

Now on to the actual settings for the overclock. I elected to overclock using Pstate settings rather than setting a fixed multiple. Using the Pstate settings, the cpu AND vcore will downclock when under a light load. The feature will save on energy use, result in cooler running, and reduced fan noise.

For my overclock, I set FID [Frequency ID] @160 and DID [Divisor ID] @8. This results in a 4.0gig processor speed. Do understand that mos... Read more

I don't really know anything about laptops, but I bought an hp envy x360 13z for school, but I can't find anywhere other than the product page where the ryzen 2300u comes with vega 3 graphics. I don't know if this is an error on hp's end, but I didn't have the option of a 2300u with vega 6. Any sort of clarification is welcomebecause I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

Hi there! According to the Intel problems with meltdown hardware security issue, I would love to see T480 or T490 with Ryzen Mobile processors. What do you think about this idea?

Hello! I've recently put together a new amd ryzen system, but I cannot get a signal on my monitor.
The system I have is :

MOBO: Asus Prime B350-plus
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
Cooler: The stock wraith spire cooler it comes with
GPU: Asus gtx 1050 phoenix
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb 2666 MHz c16 (also tried with different stick of ram)
PSU: Corsair CX550M
hdd+ssd for storage (removed after the first few failed attempts to boot)

So this is what happens, I plug everything in, connect the monitor, press the power button and then the PC powers up, fans start spinning (chassis, cpu cooler, gpu fan), then after a couple of seconds it powers off, everything stops spinning, then again few seconds later it turns on again and then stays on, fans keep running but my monitor gets "No display", I let it run like that for a minute or two, then power it off.

Any suggestions please? Maybe someone who has been through a similar situation?

These are the steps I've taken.

I try to connect through DVI-D to DVI-D, tested the monitor on a different pc and it worked.
Tested with a stick of 4gb kingston furyX that I had.
Tried to connect to the TV through HDMI (random suggestion from a post), tried to remove the reset button from the system panel(random suggestion from some post).
Tried a different RAM slot.
Tried to reset CMOS by circuiting, removed the battery and put it back.
Tightened the cpu cooler screws, loosened the cpu cooler screws(both were suggested).
Please, if anyon... Read more
