WHAT are the words for :cut out a picture and place in on another picture

Q: WHAT are the words for :cut out a picture and place in on another picture

im somewhat experienced with photo software...cropping,resizing,making pictures smaller, larger...saving them.....and placing on websites. I lack knowledge on some fundamental skills using photo software. i want to take a picture of a flag and place it on the picture of a car...then making it one picture. If someone can just tell me the photo software WORDS that i would be using from the photo software options, i can probably fiqure it out.

one thing about photo software programs, they give you a zillion options for photos, it is easy for a newbie to get lost and frustrated with so many options.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Ok, I'm really pulling my hair out and I've literally have tried everything that I know how to do.

When I go to webpages that have a lot of pictures or even Facebook, the pictures are either pixelated or non-existent. I've attached a jpg of what I'm talking about. It doesn't matter what browser I user, they all do the same thing.

I've ran Malwarebytes, CCleaner, ran numerous virus scans and there is no viruses. I've tried using the Dell PC Checkup and it comes back that my computer is running fine.

I've done all the updates that were necessary.

I even did a reinstall this afternoon and the problem is still there.

I have a Dell Vostro 260
Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10 GHz
4 GB

I've followed several things of others on this forum that have had the problem and have done what they suggested and I'm not getting anywhere.

I really need help.

A:A picture speaks a 1000 words, if you can see them in ALL browsers

Did you do an in-place install (Overwrite Windows without removing files), or a full reinstall?

If you did an in place install, Uninstall, and reinstall your display adapter, and default any settings in the display utility if you have one from NVidia or ATI.

If you did a full erase and reinstall, my personal opinion is it's the display adapter itself. But hold out to see if you get another response before you go down that route.

In the overall scheme of things, and considering the purpose of this computer help site, this request is pretty trivial but has made me more "curiouser" as time goes by. Many of the respondants on this site have an icon next to their name, some of which are animated. As I read throught the instructions for this site it states that you can upload a picture for your profile but there can be no cartoon type characters yet, everyone seems to have a cartoonish icon. I'm jealous and want to have one too. How do I go about it?

I need a macro for Word 2001 on Mac OS 9.2.2. Before the macro, I will manually select (click on) a Drawing Object. Then I will execute the macro, and it will copy the Drawing Object, delete it, convert it into Picture, and position the Picture exactly where the Drawing Object was. And I mean exactly--to the 0.01 of an inch).

And the other plain text around it also must remain exactly where it was. That means the Picture must have a Layout of "In front of text".

The closest I have is the following macro: Sub aa_convert()
Selection.PasteSpecial Link:=False, DataType:=wdPasteMetafilePicture, _
Placement:=wdFloatOverText, DisplayAsIcon:=False
End Sub
Of course the "Selection.Cut" both copies the selected Drawing Object to the clipboard, and deletes it off the page.

The the "Selection.PasteSpecial" pastes it as a Picture. But the Picture shows up almost anywhere on the page it wants; I need it to paste in exactly the same place the Drawing Object was.

I am attaching a sample document for you to experiment with, and that illustrates my needs better.

I have found this BUG in Micrososft Word 2007, that I consider to be a SERIOUS ISSUE for Microsoft Office Suite.

If you copy an image from a website and paste in the Word file, the image pastes successfully the first time,
but as you go on & paste other images from the site,
the first image is repeated over and over again, in place of other images (which have the same dimensions).
All other text data remain same, the image titles remain same, but only the image is repeated over and over

I cannot find any information on why or how picture would revert. ( even more so on a specific date )

any ideas or leads ?

Hello newbiew, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Since you Microsoft account is synced by default, then it most likely automatically changed back after syncing.

If you wanted to have the same user account picture for all devices, then changing it for everything should help.

If you only wanted to change it on this PC, then you could turn off syncing for Appearance under "Personalization settings" using the tutorial below.

It turns out that if I download a picture file to the photo app in 8.1, without putting it in a particular pre-existing folder, the file goes into the general area of the app displayed alongside several other non-related pictures. Okay, no problem. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to then move a single image file into one of the pre-existing folders I had created at an earlier time. If your suggestion is to open both the folder and the picture file side by side on the screen and then click and drag, I have no idea how to do that. Is there no way to right-click the image and find a way to select "move to", or something along those lines; or is there a pull-down menu that I can't find with the app open that contains a command to "move to"?
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much,
San Francisco

A:How to move a picture file on 8.1 to a picture folder...

Well, you have many options. What you are looking for is this:

Context Menu - Add Copy To Folder and Move To Folder - Windows 7 Help Forums

But you can just copy the pics and paste them into the folder you like.

The side by side is easy too. Just open the source folder and press WIN + Right arrow. Then open the target folder and press WIN + left arrow, Now you can drag and drop from one folder to the other.

I have Windows XP SP2.
A couple of days ago I was changing the folder types (from Documents to Pictures) for numerous subfolders in the "My Pictures" folder.
Somehow this caused many of the other directories/folders (C:, Program Files, Windows, etc.) to start using the "Picture Tasks" panel ("View as a slide show", "Order prints online", "Print pictures") on the left side of the screen, instead of the default panel for that directory/folder.
Does someone know how to recover the default panels by a registry change? (I don't use System Restore)

I have tried to find an answer to this but cannot. Lately, I noticed my User Account Picture was not the picture I had selected. In addition, the Background Picture for my Windows 7 Home Premium edition log on screen was changed. This happened after running a program that is for exams at school which reboots your computer into a safe mode where the only program available is a rudimentary word processor.

I contacted the company that makes that software, Examsoft, and they told me how to get my default logon picture for my Windows Logon background back.

To address the User Account picture, I went into Control Panel > User Accounts and attempted to "change picture". This is not an option, however, for my administrator user account. It is an option for my guest account. I tried cloning my account without the bad .dat files, but that didn't work either as the new account I had created, also an administrator account, did not display a "change picture" option in control panel either.

I ran sfc /scannow, and it found no errors.

I am not sure what to do. Has anyone encountered this? Can you please help me?

Attached is a screen shot:

Thank You.

This problem just occurred recently for no apparent reason. I am using Windows XP Pro-SP2. I use IE6 and Avant back and forth with IE settings exported to Avant. I am getting the dreaded RED X in both browsers apparently only in GIF. Jpeg seems to be fine. This is a list of the steps I have taken so far. 1) Ensured default setting in IE privacy 2) Updated my Java and checked 'Use my Browser settings' button 3) Cleaned out temp files 4) Checked 'Show Pictures' in Advanced IE 5) Used every scanner in my system without detecting anything unusual. 6) Tried to link to 'Toggle Image' in Avant but no link there( in fact no double-arrow links at all) 7) Went to IE6, found the link to 'Toggle Image', clicked on-nothing happened.
SO I HAVE TARGETED 'Toggle Image' as a possible culprit. Searched everywhere to try to download this feature without success. Used Windows internal search and found 'Toggle Image' in Documents and Settings as a shortcut. Also located 'Toggle Image' in prefetch and that's it.
The questions- Is it Toggle Image causing my problem or something else? If Toggle Image is removed will this restore the picture viewing function. If not can I repair or reload Toggle Image to my computer so it can be controlled? What the heck is Toggle Image and what function does it really perform if it is recommended to shut it off?
