I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)
I'm trying to database my network using the built in Asset tracking template with access 2016. I'm new to playing with Access, but I'm catching on quickly. The issue I'm having is I have several fields I've added in addition to the default fields. I've created one called "MAC Address". I've played with the options in the Design View also, but what I'm wanting is to display the mac address in use in the cell, but also have a drop down in the cell containing other mac's of each host. For example:
MAC Address
-----------------
Wifi: 00:11:22:33:44:55 [Cell default view]
Bluetooth: 00:11:22:33:44:54 <-- viewable via drop down list/combo box within cell
Ethernet: 00:11:22:33:44:53 <-- viewable via drop down list/combo box within cell
I'm wanting the primary mac displayed to be the active mac, but other's listed in a drop down if that makes sense. I've watched a few video's, but nothing has shown that yet and being new I'm not sure exactly what to search for.
Thanks in advance.
Microsoft believes we are living in a mobile first, cloud first world, which sounds good, I guess, but what does that really mean in a practical business setting? The answer may surprise you, especially if you rely on Microsoft Access and you fail to choose your Office 365 subscription very carefully.

I remember MS dropping Access out of Office 97 and beyond. John, thanks for the heads-up!
Read other 5 answersI'm going to buy a new license of one of these product, so any suggest please?
I have used Bitdefender, Avast, Kaspersky ( about 3 years ago), I haven't used Norton and Trend Micro.
Out of all these, and your prerequisites,I would go with Kaspersky!
PS:This is from personal experience, and other members may have varying opinions!!
Now! ESET has just released their newest security suite: ESET Smart Security 9 (2016 Edition). These products are on the top of security suites which are produced by giants on security companies. Most of them released 2016 editions of their products. I want to compare on their newest products with new features (such as on ESET: Banking Protection, Bitdefender: Ransomware Protection and new Firewall, etc...) and some enhanced features.
And now, which is your choose for your security? Please let me know your opinion!
its hard choice choose between Eset,Kaspersky and Emsisoft.
in fact i never test Eset 2016, but i tested kaspersky and Emsisoft, Kaspersky 2016 really go lighter than Emsisoft(now i am Emsisoft useres)
by your budget and your interest u can choose Emsisoft or kaspersky.
If I'm not in the right forum please let me know. I have an HP Stream notebook 8.1. I got it not knowing that there wasn't much room on the harddrive. I have Onedrive cloud service through Microsoft office 2016/365. I don't use any of the Microsoft office progams, except for word and onedrive. I was wondering if there was a way to individually uninstall the programs I don't use or move all of it to onedrive to get it off my hard drive, as that seems to be whats taking up most of my space.
Thanks!
Hi cstull1217 Microsoft Office allows you to uninstall components separately. To do so, simply go in the Control Panel and uninstall Microsoft Office. It'll ask you if you want to uninstall Office, repair the installation, modify it, etc. Select the option to modify Office, and opt-out the ones you don't need before proceeding.https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Install-or-remove-individual-Office-2010-programs-and-components-aeb80df5-326c-4afc-8064-bd195f560753

Hello again Wendy, What version of Office are you using? 365 or 2016, 2013, etc. If you have Office 365, Microsoft has a tool you can download and run to solve most common technical issues.Download the link below, then run it.Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365 Let me know.

There's a new Windows codename on the roadmap: "Redstone."
Brad Sams at Neowin unearthed the existence of the Redstone codename on April 7, calling it the "next Windows update coming in 2016." According to my sources, he's right.
Here's how to think about Redstone, based on what I'm hearing.
Windows 10, which was codenamed "Threshold," will be released this summer, Microsoft execs have said. My sources say there will be a minor update to Threshold some time this fall (which still will be known as "Threshold,"), in addition to the other, smaller regularly released fixes and updates that Microsoft will continue to provide before and after Windows 10 is released to manufacturing as part of its "Windows as a service" model.
Microsoft's 'Redstone': An update to Windows 10 due in 2016 | ZDNet
Is Redstone the first Windows 10 update?
Quote:
This story has been updated
Windows 10 might be well on the way, but that hasn't stopped Microsoft's next Windows project - codenamed Redstone - from peeking out publicly for the first time.
First reported by Neowin, the Redstone project will be a Windows OS update next year and it's thus far unclear whether it will refresh Windows 10 or be a part of Windows Server 2016. Redstone will be released in two waves, one in June of 2016 and one in October 2016.
The Redstone name itself comes from the Microsoft-owned Minecraft video game where it is a construction "block" and this follows the policy of naming projects after features from games such as Cortana and Spartan from Halo.

I use Microsoft Visio to design Traffic Control Plans for my business. Monday am I could suddenly not open any file including ones saved on flash drive. I have had 2 services look and we have uninstalled reinstalled did repair etc nothing works. Files say Corrupted how can 100's of files be that way. I noticed something when I was playing with it because it will open new sheets to draw on only to be "corrupted" as soon as saved and closed. I usually name them MHT #etc. If I name them drawing 1etc I can now open my new ones. Anybody out there use this program. I use Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am trying to find a 3 (or multi) user license version of Microsoft Office 2016 but not having any luck. I know previous home and student versions of Office had a 3 user license but so far I'm not finding any for 2016.
This needs to be for the UK.
I was given some days to activate my office but I didn't have the product key,now it stopped working. It needs activation.

Microsoft has already announced a ton of exciting stuff this week, but the company isn't done yet. Today, it announced that the next version of its fully-featured Office suite of desktop PC applications will be called Office 2016.
Microsoft has been testing the new version of Office internally with a handful of its key partners. Images that leaked last year suggest the new release won't rock the boat too much in terms of design, although customers can expect to see a range of new features and improvements.
The company said today that it "will have more to share on Office 2016 in the coming months", confirming its earlier promise of releasing the new applications "in the second half of 2015" ? perhaps coinciding with the launch of Windows 10, which is expected around the same time.
Although Microsoft did not publicly show its new Office 2016 desktop applications this week, it did unveil its new suite of touch-friendly Office apps for Windows. As with the touch-optimized Office apps on Android and iOS, they lack the complete feature set of the desktop applications, but they still offer many of the features that users need most often for creating, editing and sharing documents.
As Universal Windows apps, they'll be available not just on Windows 10 PCs, notebooks, and tablets, but also on smartphones. Microsoft shared a few images of the Office touch apps for Windows 10 today, showing how they'll look on handsets and devices with l... Read more

Whenever I click on the file tab in Word or Powerpoint 2016 (doesn't happen for Excel) the programme crashes. The tech support at Microsoft are unable to resolve so I'm wondering if it is a HP conflict with Office or Windows 10. Has anyone else experienced this and found out how to resolve the problem?
