I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

So, I have a brand new HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC. The other day, all the USB ports stopped working. Looks like I have a couple unknown divices missing drivers. This is what I get.. AMD USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller 0100 (Microsoft) Code 28.  I cant find this driver anywhere, even on the AMD website. I've also updated my BIOS and chipset and just about everything else I can think of and the USB ports still dont work. They get power, I can charge a phone through them, but the laptop doesnt see what is connected.  Anyone know where to find this driver? Thanks

Hi @KFM1 , Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue on your HP Pavilion 15 Notebook and the USB not working correctly. Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices. I would go to the device manager and uninstall any USB devices. Restart the notebook. Here is a driver for your Notebook and Windows 8.1. I would be happy to assist if needed. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? Please let me know. Thanks.

Dell Inspiron 14 3421
Intel i3 processor

I had upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. All the USB ports worked fine for a few days. Then suddenly, the laptop went off while playing the game Thief. (This usually happens when the laptop heats up too much, not a big deal.)

When I turned on the laptop, the two USB 3.0 ports stopped working. There was no power in either of the USB 3.0 ports. I checked this with a mini USB fan.

I went to the device manager and found a yellow triangle before Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller.
When I double clicked on it, in the device status box, it showed "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

I thought it was a problem with Windows 10 and degraded the OS to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and installed and updated all drivers, hoping it would help. But still the same problem exists with the USB 3.0 port.

Please Help!!

Hi, i have an HP Pavilion 17-G133CY laptop and i am planning to put an SSD in it for a little while and installing Windows 7 on it for fun.  I know that HP does not provide drivers for Windows 7 and i can just extract the files from the Windows 10 Driver files and should be able to install them on Windows 7.  I am able to get most of the drivers for Windows 7 but one driver is missing and i think i know why.  USB 3.0 Driver is not for download and i think that is because when Windows 10 was released USB 3.0 was implimented on more computers that it was when Windows 7 was out.  i am looking for the driver or hoping that when i install Windows 7 and run updates that it is able to get the USB 3.0 driver or i can download one that will work on Windows 7 and allow me to use all 3 of my USB ports.  I don't want to be stuck with 1 USB 2.0 Port nor USB 2.0 speeds.

Solution provided by DELL to a problem I have been unable to resolve on my Lenovo P50 using Lenovo Tools and Drivers. Background Info: I have Windows 7 Ult SP1 Retail on my P50, with two issues.1. MS Paint, Lenovo Battery utility and the Lenovo Network utility would never display a window when opened, just an icon in the taskbar or a splash screen, then absolutely nothing. Mouse would go jittery for about 20-30 seconds. 2. I could not get a USB3.1 external drive dock to work on the USB C port. The external drive dock came with a USB C to USB3.1 cable. Ruled out the dock as an issue. So I uninstalled all Intel drivers, Lenovo utilities and the Graphics drivers to get back to a base Win 7 install and confirmed Paint worked. Reinstalled drivers individually checking system behaviour at each step. I suspect item 1 was resolved by the most recent Lenovo graphics driver bundle. Item 2 is where DELL come to the rescue. The only Win 7 Lenovo USB 3.1 driver (Version will not install on my system manually and fails using any of the Lenovo tools or utilities.http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/au/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/ThinkPad-P-Series-laptops/ThinkPad-P... is a dud. It was originally installed during Win7 install using the built in Admin Account before the OOBE. A:[P51] Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller and Hub Driver

I have split your reply off from the Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller and Hub Driver message thread involving the ThinkPad P50 into a separate one for your P51 for visibility.
If I am reading the screenshot correctly, it looks like the digital signature on the device driver for the USB host either cannot be read, is missing, or cannot be verified (which I assume means a connection being made to Microsoft's servers for verification).
It seems very odd to me that Lenovo would ship a ThinkPad P51 preloaded with Windows 10 containing an unsigned device driver.  And, if I am interpreting the screen correctly, the driver is actually written by Microsoft, not Intel (the "(Microsoft)" at the end of the driver's name).
My initial thought is that somehow the operating system install was corrupted during installation by Lenovo.  It must ben extraordinarly rare event, as I think I have seen it perhaps twice in the past twenty years or so, but that is about the only scenario I can think of where one could find a corrupt file in the preloaded operating system.
If this is the case, there's only one solution I can think of, and that's to order the recovery media from Lenovo, wipe the drive, and then perform a clean install of the operating system using the recovery media.  The reason that I suggest doing it this way, as opposed to using the recovery partition, is because I'm concerned that if there's a problem with one pre-load... I strongly believe the drivers that Lenovo have on its System Update server for the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller for Win 7 32 bit OS for the models of T430s and X230 are the wrong ones or they are corrupted.  Five times now after I have completed my base corporate image the USB 3.0 ports will be working correctly.  If I install the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller drivers from System Update for Win 7 32bit I will get a stop error and after the restart the USB 3.0 ports will stop working.  I have tested this on two X230 laptops and a T430s.  Same results across the board.   I doubt I?m the only one who has reported this issue. Any way Lenovo can confirm is they are seeing the same issue? Thanks

Hello to everyone,

So, before some time I had Win 8 and everything was fine. After a while I have had installed fresh Win 8.1 system. After that I tried and tried to make USB 3.0 in function but not successful. Trying everything, reinstalling, looking from ASUS website for drivers, but then I agreed with myself that I will wait until Win 10 came out so I had hope that this will solve my problem but it didn't! :-( I also looked on forums, different threads but no luck. I have got ASUS laptop G55VW (ROG series) and on ASUS website there is no drivers for win 10 (except 8 and 9 Series chipset) and yes, it's good to know if someone could help me, my chipset is HM77 Ivy Bridge.

Thank you in advance!

A:Intel« USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller driver

Try to download the driver directly from www.intel.com If there is no Windows 10 driver, download the Windows 8 driver instead. You may have to run it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. Right-click on the file and select Properties. Go to Compatibility tab and check the box to set compatibility to Windows 8. Also check the Run as Administrator box. Now it should install OK. It is a good idea to also update the chipset drivers (found in the software section of Intel download site).

Intel's site confuses you and it takes some guesswork to find a driver. Both drivers for USB 3.0 and chipset are in Software section, Chipset software. To save you the trouble, here is the direct link for the USB 3.0 driver. Yes, it says it is Windows 7 only because Windows 8 and 10 are supposed to install a driver automatically through Windows Update. So what! Download it and run it in Windows 7 compatibility mode. It should be far better than Windows Update generic USB 3.0 driver.

A few usb devices won't be recognized and there is a yellow warning symbol in the device manager of Win 7 that there is a driver that was "installed incorrectly". I did some research on the missing driver name and found it on the Intel support site. I downloaded the Win 7 version. I ran it and it claims that my "system does not meet requirements". It's not seeing an old IDE hard drive (500gig) that I have a an external usb connected enclosure for. Very frustrated and I am not sure why Windows 7 isn't playing nice. I even uninstalled the "incorrect" driver that it stuck me with and restarted the system hoping it would possibly reinstall the drive correctly. No dice. I would greatly appreciate some fix for this as I need to get this drive read to move files from it. It is Fat32 and I can't erase it without deleting everything on it. Plus, the drive isn't recognized when I plug in the usb cable. I will post the error messages to shed hopefully some light on this.

Greetings! I'm currently working on reinstalling win on my cousin's y580 with following specs:Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz8GB RAMGEFORCE GTX 660M Everything went smoothly until the part where I want to install USB 3.0 drivers (responsible for 2x3.0 USB and 2.0 USB port). I tried everything from installing win7 drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them with Windows Update to forcing INTEL drivers intalation. So far no luck. Browsing the forum I happened to find the topic: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/USB-3-0-Ports-Not-Working-Y580/m-p/3457050#M149... , where the guy assumes that motherboard is broken cause he bought it with "broken USB ports". That is not the case, ports were working just fine on win8 until the moment win10 was introduced. In the device manager the driver shows the error 10. I also came for advice to my friend using the same notebook with better specs(i7) and they are working fine for him. So my question finally is: have anyone solved this problem for the given spec already and/or is it the case of the 64bit system(not fully supported with those specs)? I am frankly out of ideas rn. Cheers, Hubert

I was upgrading my Latitude E5530 with Samsung 850 EVO SSD. I have downloaded OS reinstallation image from Dell support page and put it on USB flash stick. I have replaced HDD with SSD and began clean install.
First surprise was error window telling I need CD/DVD with drivers for my hardware. I saw recomendations to give Intel RST driver, it was recognized, but that did not wort, I could not continue installation. At this time USB flash stick was in USB port on the left side of the notebook.
Next I put the stick in the port on the right side of the note, and it worked like a charm, the system was deployed in 6 minutes.
Next it was attempt to install drivers. I have manually installed NIC driver, then Dell Command Update and let it install drivers. That attempt was messed. I have been tasked with rebuilding a handful of old(ish) Dell E6330 laptops. All with the same hardware specs, 7 series/C216 chipset family. I am losing sleep over this and could really use a fresh perspective.
I am starting from a base Win 7 64 bit OS, provided by Dell. I have been able to update all of the drivers including BIOS except the "Intel 3.0 extensible host controller" whenever i try to install it, it gives me the BSOD just after installation.
When i go into device manager, it shows installed, but none of the usb 3.0 ports work (which is all of them). However, when i hook the laptop up to a docking station, i can get the 2.0 ports to work, so i have a work around.
I noticed that after i get the BSOD, under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" in device manager, there is a Unknown Device listed in there. Though there is no yellow exclamation identifying there is something wrong, when i open it, it says "No drivers are installed for this device" when i select update driver it says the best driver software for your device is already installed (Intel R USB 3.0 Root Hub).
Any help is appreciated!

Recently Upgraded: Running Windows 7, 64-bit on MSI Z97 ATX board with Intel Core i7-4790K processor. I installed the drivers from the CD that came with the board from MSI.

My usage is strictly internet, e-mail and office applications. Occasional other usage is to connect additional hard disk via internal SATA and scanning for viruses and malicious programs. I do not overclock or play games.

I am trying to determine whether there is any real benefit to keeping the following:
"Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver". I thought USB3 drivers were already in W7 so why do I need this driver from Intel? I've read this; but, it never gets into whether it is an essential program or what functionality might be lost if I uninstall it.
"MSI Super Charger". I've read this; but, I can't see any real benefit, The only thing I charge from this computer is my phone and I am very well satisfied with its charging time.

I've been away at college for about 3 months (since early January) and when I left, my computer functioned just fine. I shut it down properly, took the power cables out and took the power strip with me. When i got back tonight for spring break, my USB Host Controller won't start. I've had this problem before, and I needed some electrical work done on it, and it worked fine after I got that. I really do not want to put out the money to get more work done on it (poor college student...) and so I wanted to know if there are any other things I can do before I send it to the shop to get it fixed, like any ways to make sure its not a software issue, or a loose connection or something?

Anyway, from what I remember of my system's stats, it's got an Intel Celeron D processor at 3.2GHz (i know i know...bad processor...), 1GB of RAM, and i'm not sure of the motherboard model, but I can get it if needed.

EDIT: oops...i posted this in the wrong forum, didn't i? sorry...i'm running XP SP2...

Hi! Thanks in advance.

I've been having this problem for around 2 days now, and it's infuriating: I can't use any of my back USB ports because of it! I'm only going off of the front two ports for a keyboard and mouse as we speak

I'll start by saying how this problem started: basically, I can't determine the cause. I usually leave my computer on for extended periods of time, but turned it off due to excessive heat in the room. When I turned it back on, the problem started. Nothing happened any different before restarting than any other time, no drivers installed, nothing updated, etc.

Now this happens every single time I reboot, even when I somehow end up fixing the problem through a weird combination of rebooting, reinstalling the drivers, and uninstalling the drivers. I'm still not sure what exactly fixes it, as right now I'm still trying to just constantly uninstall, reinstall, and restart in hopes it will work, as that seemed to fix it a handful of times.

Anyway, on to the problem. I get the exclamation point in Device Manager when drivers are installed/when I reboot from everything being okay. here is the properties, and the error code: this device cannot start (code 10). No amount of disabling/enabling the driver fixes it. My hardware ID is PCI\VEN_1912&DEV_0014&SUBSYS_77511462&REV_03

When I try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, it gets the same problem. I've tried several different drivers from different download locations and differ... Read more

I installed Windows on to this computer while off line and used it for two weeks while off line and it worked perfectly. I then connected to the Internet and completed my work before shutting down. Upon start up ? it said do not shut your computer down while updates are being installed and everything was fine ? then I started back up the next day and no keyboard, nor was there any mice.
Thank goodness for touchscreen for I was able to restart but still no keyboard or mice. I then went looking for drivers for the keyboard, mice and motherboard ? I already had the latest and greatest. I then went to device manager and found caution on four OpenHSD USB Host Controllers--none could start (code 10}. I then deleted all the drivers and restarted again but to no avail.

I then took the computer off the Internet and reinstalled Windows 8 and everything worked great for three days. I then reconnected to the Internet and everything went good until I shut down and restarted ? you guessed it ? those damn updates again and the same problem again.
I then went on line and could not believe the number of people with this same problem and as I read the thread's, they was being told it was a hardware problem and there is no way in Hades it is hardware ? it is software. Now I realize I am 85 years old and I am no longer the sharpest tack in the box ? but this is ridiculous!

Hi all,

I have tried un-installing and reinstalling this, but still the error.

Trying to update the driver just tells me that the most recent driver is installed.

The option to rollback driver is greyed out.

This worked a few days ago as use these ports a fair bit.

Hi all.  please see attached dxdiag for my system specs.  note that this is a big desktop PC
this morning i noticed a device in the device manger which isn't working properly. Normally  if it's not a major issue, i'd consider that sort of thing a silly nitpick.
However, i'm currently experiencing a major problem (which shall have its own thread, later), and i need to start eliminating possible suspects
i tried to research this little issue, and i found some steps that seem really good for major discrete components. unfortunately usb host controller is a generic entity, i'm not honestly sure if it even corresponds to any particular usb headers or external ports.
I've already tried the basic steps of disabling/enabling it, un/reinstalling the device, restarting the computer, leaving it powered off for five minutes, etc
anyways, details:
the device is listed under the Universal Serial Bus controllers section of the manager, as "Unknown Device"
When i open up the properties menu, i see the following info:
Device type: USB controllers
Manufacturer: (Standard USB  Host Controller)
Location: Port_#0001.Hub_#0003
Device Status: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)
going by instructions i found elsewhere, i was trying to hunt through the details tab for the hardware ID. Unfortunately that option only reports the value USB\UNKNOWN

So basically I have this problem since Thursday and can't seem be able to fix it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but because of this my mouse and other devices doesn't work, right ? Because that's the main reason how I noticed that there's something wrong with USB controller. My OS: Windows 10, if you need more information about my laptop or something else, please tell me. I also noticed that there're alot of people complaining about similar issues lately, or I'm wrong? Something wrong with Windows 10 ?

In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the SCSI/RAID host controller and once looked at states a error message with code 39. The manufacturer is unknown.
I have contacted Fujitsu which asked me to check if the screen goes blank when using the cd drive in BIOS mode, which it doesnt. They then claimed it was a software problem so they could not help me!
My computer and op info is:

I'm using XP Home, and in the device manager, under "SCSI and RAID controllers", "SCSI/RAID host contoller has an exclamation point. It says that the registry info for this device may be corrupt (code 19). The trouble shooter and Windows Update tell me to check for updates to the driver (which there are none of) or to reinstall the device (do they mean the driver? I dont see a way to reinstall the device. I dont even know what hardware its needed for). When I uninstall the driver and reboot to reinstall it, it tells me it cant start, and needs to start in the last known good configuration, which was before I unistalled the driver.

There may be a problem with DNS. Phone your Internet Service Supplier and ask them for 2 DNS addresses.

Then go to Control Panel > Network Connection > right click Local Area Connection > Properties > Internet Protocol ( TCP/IP ) > Properties button and Type in the ip addresses provided into the bottom section of the screen "Use the following DNS addresses".

I have been having a lot of problems with my USB ports lately. Every time I turn my laptop on, whether it's off or hibernating, the AMD 3.0 USB Host Controller has a yellow exclamation mark by it and has the error "The device cannot start. (code 10)". I can get it to work temporarily by disabling and reenabling it, but then it does the same thing the next time I turn it on. This is getting extremely annoying. Help?

I?m downgrading a ASUS N550LF-CN100H from windows 8 to windows 7 Pro x64.

But when I try to install the driver "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver" the system crash.
I have installed the latest version of the BIOS (2.12) and changed some settings (for W7).
- Boot -> Lunch CSM = Enabled
- Security -> Secure Boot Control= Disabled

I have tried with the driver coming from the Intel site and with "Driver Genius" (same driver).
Do you have any advice to solve this issue because Asus doesn?t give any support for downgrade ?

I've got a dual booting (Win 98SE/XP) Pentium II 400 MHz PC with a Aopen AX6BC Motherboard Bios 2.58. I tried connecting an external hard drive to the PC the other day and a message said I needed a High Speed Host Controller as one was not found, the Motherboard has only 1.1. I bought a PCI USB 2.0 Host Controller, installed it but the PC will not recognise it. Can someone tell me if I need to install a EHCI Driver when I can't even find OHCI in the BIOS Setup? I know a bit about the BIOS but not a great deal so can any help that's forthcoming please be in laymans terms, thanks.

When I plugged in my wifi adapter in the usb slot I got the message saying I had a high speed device in a non high speed usb port. This left me a little puzzled since this is a fairly new mobo [Dfi LanParty nf4]. It recommended me getting a High Speed USB 2.0 host controller, so I checked my mobos disk and it had nothing under USB so I'm out of luck. The adapter says its running at 54mbps, so is there no problem?

Is your windows XP SP2, if it isn't you need to update it to SP2. If it is SP2 go to My Computer, then view system information, then hardware, then device manager, then click the + next to Universal serial bus controllers, then uninstall all USB controllers, then restart. Once you start up in windows XP and plug in your Wifi card it will search for USB controllers, if any boxes come up just press next and let windows scan and install the drivers( USB drivers come with SP2, you dont need a CD). This should solve the problem.

I know this is a well documented situation and I have seen and read a lot of information about the problems others have had with the USB 3.0 Host controller. My situation is that I have followed several different solutions only to wind up with USB's on the 3.0 hub not working after reboot. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, tried this solution with several different recommended drivers for my Dell Inspiron 14z. I have also followed solution that has me delete the INFCACHE.1.
So what I have seen in my case which I have not seen anyone else talk about specifically is this.
If I leave my USP cables plugged into the computer on restart I loose all USP 3.0 functionality, when I try to run the USB 3.0 Host Controller Utility I see that I get the message "USB 3.0 Host Controller Not Found". If I unplug my USB cables and restart (or shut laptop down and then unplug USB 3.0 and restart) I get full USB 3.0 functionality. I have to wait until I see the login screen on Windows 7 home premium 64 bit to plug in the USB cables, if I try befor this I see that the Hub is recognized during BIOS then lost during the beginning phase of OS boot.

When I leave the USB cables plugged in and restart the BIOS stalls about half way through and instead of taking about min to run bios and boot to login screen it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 min to boot to login screen (USB is recognized during BIOS but lost during OS boot).

I am attached to a 1TB WD Passport external hard... Read more

Do you have the latest BIOS installed?

Also, check BIOS for a setting for USB Legacy. It should be either ENABLED or AUTO - AUTO is an option. (USB Legacy is needed to support USB before Windows starts... and your description mentions USB not working till Windows starts?).

p.s. Please update the Dell model # in your System Specs

/* EDIT */
do NOT disable USB Legacy

I tried to get the bus host controller but it kept saying cannot install it!! is this stopping me getting sound back? His laptop is model MD7276-MICROSTAR FID2030.(chipset sis650)
I did the add hardware and update drivers but still nothing-how can i find the sound drivers etc

Thanks for the help

A:Bus Host Controller and Sound

If the correct drivers are on the laptop, from device manager highlight each item with an exclamation mark and remove them, reboot and all will work.
If these are not the correct drivers then you will need to download them either from the laptop manufacturer or from the SiS site.

You should be able to find out exact chipset by downloading either SiSift Sandra or Fresh diagnose. Search on google for these

Hi All,
I believe my computer had a virus and damaged windows xp home installation, most motherboard devices were showing the error message. I have completed a XP Repair and have got all devices working except for USB Host Controllers and thus the USB Ports.
When i go to 'Device Manager' and click the USB Controllers i get the yellow triangle / exclamation mark.
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)".
I have deleted devices and scanned for hardware changes - no change.
Completed Second Repair - No Change
SP2 & SP3 - No Change.
Can i get ports working again or perhaps are ports unrepairable ?
Really can't format at this point.

Any Ideas guys ?

Thanks in Advance

Today I got a WD usb 3.0 PCI-e card. WDBFJ0000NNC

I installed the software on the CD it came with. Then I put the card into a free PCI-e slot. When I restarted the computer, windows gives a message that the device driver was not successfully installed. Specifically the "NEC Electronic USB 3.0 Host Controller". Any external hard drives (All WD drives) I plug it is not registered by windows.

In device manager the "NEC Electronic USB 3.0 Host Controller" has a caution (exclamation)on it.
If I look at the card, it lights up so power isn't a problem.
Does anyone know how to get the card to work?
I don't know much technical language so any simple instructions would be appreciated.

OS: windows 7 home premium 64 bit
motherboard: Intel H67 Revision B3
CPU: I5-2310

A:USB 3.0 Host Controller not found

You should have plugged it in first, and then installed the software.

Uninstall the software, reboot, and then try and install it again. Leave the device in the PCI-e slot.

How are you trying to update the drivers? I would recommend unzipping the files, then using device manager to update the driver for the USB controllers... There should be two that you may have to do at two separate times... You may have to update the driver for the controller first, then the hub...

I am having a problem getting the computer running Vista Home Premium to load the driver for my USB card that I put in the computer. It recognizes the card, and it tells me that it is installing the driver, and then it tells me that the installation of nec pci to usb open host controller has failed. In device manager, it has the feared yellow asterisk on the nec pci to usb open host controller, both of them.
I have replaced the motherboard with a new one, exactly the same as before, an Intel D945GCFG1 motherboard. It seems to hang up when booting up, but eventually it boots up. Would this have anything to do with the installation of the nec pci to usb open host controller driver?

My computer's make is Advent and I cannot get any joy from anyone online regarding my problem. I have posted to the Advent's forum and again, no one seems to know or answer.
These are the details:
Advent fp9004
Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.

If you can provide a link to a driver's update, will this install automatically after downloading, or do I need to force the installation and what is the recommended way?

I would be very grateful for any information.

A:Ricoh SD Host Controller

Hello & welcome to sevenforums,

If you get an updated driver from Windows Update it means its on your computer now, you could manually try to install the Ricoh driver from the Device Manager .

from the device manager right click, search manually on your computer the path.

Follow this tutorial:
Driver Install - Device Manager

You could try to locate the driver name in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

If not working...the only link i founded for ricoh drivers v6.0:

Download the softpack sp37872 and extract it with 7-Zip for 32-bit Windows

Create yourself a restore point

Run the Setup.exe inside the extracted folder sp37872.

You can also manually install the driver from the Device Manager by pointing the search to look at the extracted softpack sp37872 if running the setup.exe doesn't work properly on your machine.
