I am having problems after BS event was fixed.

Q: I am having problems after BS event was fixed.

After the help from someone on this site, I was able to clear up my BS issues by uninstalling my graphics card. However after using the AMD to reinstall it to allow my computer to game and watch videos I own, the BS came back. After uninstalling the graphics card again, I am back to being on my computer normally but can't do anything that requires a graphics card.

I would like to have my graphics card working again with the BS issue fixed.

Below I have the files from when the computer had the BS on top, and I have the files from after the graphics card uninstalled on the bottom.

If you want the BS event info I have that too and will have no problem posting it if it is needed.

Preferred Solution: I am having problems after BS event was fixed.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

For those that have upgraded MSE and have seen the following error on bootup in Event Viewer.

Session "Microsoft Security Essentials OOBE" stopped due to following error; 0xC000000D

here is the fix.

OK we have a fix. After MS worked on my PC for 4 hrs they got it fixed. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft Security Essentials\Support and delete MSSEOOBE.etl and reboot. After reboot this file should be recreated and the error should be gone. I have found that when you delete MSE this folder remains and the files get updated when you run MSE. It looks like the one file was not updating properly and causing the failure. After it was working I did another test. I deleted MSE and also all the files in the Support directory. I then reinstalled MSE and everything is still fine. If you look at the error under Detail it will point to this file.

A:MSE OOBE Event Error - Fixed

Well the error has returned. It worked great for a week then came back. Same fix will clear it but after a few boots it comes back. I have now dumped MSE and will wait for MS to produce a new version.

Has the "Event 513 error" issue been solved in the latest version of Macrium Reflect (Free)?
This version: 5.2.6433 (11 November 2013)

Event 513 errors in Windows 8.1

Possible Macrium Issue?

In any case, is it currently safe to use Macrium Reflect (latest free version), from the point of view of operating system integrity (with Windows 8.1)?
I'm a little scared that this "Event 513 error" issue could corrupt Windows 8.1 in some way.
Are you using Macrium Reflect Free with no problems?

A:Macrium Reflect: Event 513 error issue fixed?

Macrium says that the error does not affect the backup process.

I have not had any problems running manual backups using Windows 8.1.

I recently had the virus "Windows Vista Restore" and I went through all the steps and restored all my hidden files (so I think). But for some reason when I click on the start menu the programs menu is clear and my icons, pictures and other files are cloudy if that makes sense?? My personal pictures are there but when I open up the folder they are the pictures are cloudy until I open them up.

So long story short... what do I do now???

Thanks so much.

My home system runs off an ISP-provided Netgear WNDR4300 router.

I have about ten devices that at some times are on and connected to this net with default DHCP.

The problem is that when the various devices are turned on, they often get new/different local IP addresses, which can cause problems with their management software, cloud connections, etc. The answer is of course to configure with fixed IPs. With most of these devices, such as IP cameras, this is simply a matter of configuring their network menu page to use fixed rather than DHCP.

Unfortunately, when I do this, the device no longer connects to the LAN, even when the IP is the same as the one assigned by the router.

What am I doing wrong? Should unchecking "Use Router as DHCP Server" in the advanced router setup clear this?

Thanks for any clear advice!

Hello - any help with this hijack log would be greatly appreciated. I have 2 teenage sons where I think some of this downloaded or virus stuff must be coming from. I have officially locked them off to prevent further problems but in the meantime I need to clean up my computer.
Some problems I'm experiencing are:
1. When deleting files the system seems to lock itself up.
2. When using "back" button I often get a page not available screen
I hope these are related to to something hijack can fix.

Any advice from the experts here would be greatly appreciated!!!

My computer was infected with various viruses last week. Some of which seemed to have affected Explorer.exe (when I turned on the PC the taskbar + desktop would not load also Explorer.exe would crash RIGHT after I tried running it through the task manager) Also I couldn't play video files, nor could I access windows update through IE, and system restore would not load (Although it was turned on I couldn't even access it in safe mode).

Anyway, I ran various programs such as SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, and Avira Antivirus and got rid of lots of infections (the only one I remember the name to was was Vundo though).

Anyway, since then my Explorer shell seemed to have fixed itself so I could access the taskbar and the desktop. But my computer was still running slow and i sometimes got a bsod.

Since then I have run Uniblue's Registry Booster 2 (which found 717 and fixed 716 errors), Speed up my PC 3 and Spy Eraser (which found nothing).

Now my PC is running fast, and I haven't gotten anymore BSODs. But some problems still persist:

-When I try accessing System restore it tells me it's unable to protect my computer and I should restart. After restarting the same message would still pop up if I tried to access it. I also get the same message if i try to disable system restore.

-When I try going to the windows update page in IE 'http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/' nothing pops up even though the browser states that it's '... Read more

I ran ComboFix the be specific the new Beta KittyFix.exe from their facebook link and this is the first time I've been able to recover my OS without a fresh install. Now I'd like to better understand the log files and maybe streamline my bootup.

Here are the three problems that have gone away:

1) Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc, searches are no longer being redirected in my browsers. Before this, FireFox, IE, Safari & Chrome all had redirected searches.
2) Slingbox player install would not finish, just got it installed.
3) Wifi and Ethernet DHCP always needed to be repaired as I jumped from one network to the next.

Attached are my ComboFix log and the latest HiJackThis log. Let me know which other utilities I should run per your guide.

Anyone willing to help me? I posted my original problem on a few forums on the internet, and the post gives a good description of what happened. The problem seems to be gone now, but I'd like to post my Combofix logfile if a helper asks:Posting from my laptop right now.Yesterday I was browsing and I suddenly got this .dll error message, followed by a warning by Windows Firewall that there's something called "system32.Zafi.B" on my computer and to enable protection. Shortly after, AVG said that there was something called Crypto on my PC and that it was working on removing it. All my windows then closed and my computer restarted.Upon starting back up, I went to Firefox. Instead of going to my home page, it came up with an anti-virus-looking warning that said that Windows has turned off my browsing abilities because I have a worm on my PC. I Googled some stuff about this on my laptop (from which I'm posting this right now), and I guess this is also a part of the virus. Now, when I try to open Firefox or IE, it immediately closes out. For Firefox it immediately brings up Mozilla Crash Reporter.I tried system restoring to a day before this all happened but Windows said that it was incomplete due to an error. After googling Zafi.B around, I think this might be pretty new because I saw a Yahoo Answers question about this same thing posted less than a day ago.Again, this problem seems to have gone away, but I'd like to get some closure on this by having someone look at my Com... Alright, started getting the 1001 BugCheck crash with Event 41 Kernel-Power BSOD a few times not long ago, widely spaced out incidents (it will lock up, make a very weird repetitive noise through my stereo speakers and will also get black and white bars across the screen before the blue screen turns up and asks for restart option choice). And Event 4 k57nd60a has been ongoing for as long as I can remember.

Any ideas?

Memory exception but we need to examine the DMP files to find out why.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP
We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb ... Read more

Like many users I suffered these issues: high CPU and RAM usage by svchost.exe, hours of checking windows updates and being stuck while downloading them.
After weeks of trying solutions I've found this one that worked.

Here's what I did:
- stopped WinUpdate service and installed KB3138612 OFFLINE
- rebooted
- stopped WinUpade again and installed KB3145739 and KB3153199, both OFFLINE
- rebooted

Then I checked for new updates and it took just about 10 mins.
Downloading new updates went right away and no more high CPU and RAM usage by svchost.
It's been 5 days now and so far problems are gone.

Hopefully this might help.

Hey guys, I know I'm not supposed to bump my own posts but its been 8 days and I'm still waiting for someone to please look at this. I have another problem starting also, it says that a host process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed. I found this has to do something with the DHCP Service. When I try to start it manually it closed right away and the same error pops up. Also every now and then the internet just stops working sometimes requiring a restart. Please help me!

First off, let me say that I read through and did everything in the post about what to do before posting a HJT log...My problem started about 3 days ago when I noticed that my PC was lagging on startup. There was a 10 second lag between the XP progress bar screen and the login screen. Also, my system itself was running slow. It was so slow that I couldn't even do much at times - spybot, adaware and ewido took forever but found nothing. System Mechanic found some adware, but it removed it easily. After all that, it was still having the same 2 problems although the lagging had decreased. I decided to re-image my system in order to eliminate whatever problem I was having. Everything was fine, but then it started acting up again after an hour or so.I currently have: Spybot: Search & Destroy, Spyware Doctor, AdAware SE, ewidio, XoftSpySE, Spyware Blaster and System Mechanic 6. After the re-image didn't really work, I started to do massive Spyware scans. I have run all of these programs over and over again, in safe mode and regular mode. I have been through numerous restarts and I still haven't gotten rid of everything. One program will say that there are no problems, but then another will find something. After cleaning, I reboot only to find that another spyware has surfaced. Most of them are being found by Spython (part of System Mechanic), but AdAware and SpyBot have found some as well. Some of the things I am encountering are: 2Search, Elitebar, Look2Me, Trojan.Installer, p... Read more

A:Multiple Problems, Most Fixed... Still Some Left

Hi workah0lic, welcome to BC and sorry for the delay.I don't see any signs of infection in your log, just some clutter that can be fixed but that I doubt will solve your issues. The WinPup32 issue is apparently a false posiitive of System Mechanic's Spython. Please see this info: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=140120Since you have ewido installed, apparently Spython thinks part of it is malware. In my opinion, System Mechanic is over-rated and Spython is not yet to be trusted. I trialed SM a few years ago, before Spython was part of the package. They have some nice tools, but I didn't trust their registry cleaner and don't trust reg cleaners overall. Spython is still relatively new. When it comes to malware removal, it is generally better to stick to programs that are tried and true. The problem with such all in one toolbox programs like SM is that they dilute their attention--I prefer programs that do one thing and do it well. What I would suggest to you is that you not use Spython and contact SM to let them know of the false positive. They won't be able to develope the program into a good one without knowing of the problem. Stick to one anitivrus, one Firewall and no more than three good antispyware programs. You should be in good shape with Spybot, Ad-Aware and SpywareDoctor (and if SpywareDoctor is a trial, I suggest you uninstall it). Ewido is more of an anti-trojan and is very trustworthy and works very well after the trial expires. As to the lag... Read more

I use a program called uTorrent to download torrents from. And I had everything sorted like ports forwared etc and it was all working fine, but about a couple of weeks ago ive noticed that the speed of it (even with full seeds) has been really slow and fails to get above 5KB/s, and I should be getting around 115KB/s max (I have 1mb NTL Broadband).

My friend has the exact same internet provider and package as me but his seems to be working fine, hes getting full speeds etc.

We both tryed downloading the same torrent and he got speeds over 100KB/s and I was struggling at 5KB/s. So then we decided to check if it was my actual internet so we both downloaded a program from Download.Com and we both got max speeds of 115-120KB/s, so its not my actual internet.

Does anyone know how I can fix this internet problem when using uTorrent (or any other torrent client for that matter)???

Im really grateful for all help I receive

2 weeks ago I had one of the anti-virus ads that hijacked my system which I now know is called malware. Through yahoo answers I was led to bleeping computers. I followed the instructions and thought all was well. A few days later I began having problems with my computer being slow, pics and graphics not beinag able to be shown in my email, and a system error c0h. So back to bleeping computers I ent and followed instructions again. Got rid of the system error but the other issues remain. Was told today to follow the prep guide for use before using hijackthis. So per step #8 here I am. The DDS.txt, ATTACH.txt, and ark.txt files are pasted and/or attached. The only strange thing that happened during the steps of this process was at step #7 during the RootRepeal. A window popped up at the end of the scan that said: "RootRepeal Error Could not read system registry! Please contact the author!" My options were an "OK" or "Details" box. I clicked "details" and it said: "Device Control Error Code =OxcOOOOOO1" "Could Not Read System Registry! Please Contact the Author!" So I clicked on "OK" and went on to save the report. Yesterday, my computer was running fine. I was tired so I layed down for a while, and when I returned everything was giving me an application error. Hoping that would fix my problem, I restarted my computer. When I restarted, before anything would boot up, it gave me an error. I checked on Google to see if anyone has had this problem. It linked me to this site, which I read to contact manufactuer for replacement. I checked on Western Digital's home page, and typed in my model number to see if my warrenty was still in effect, and it said that it expired 3/12/05. But, on the model page for my hard drive (WD800) it said that it had a three year warrenty, but I have had it only two years max. I have my specs of what I was able to find out online, but I can not get into the computer and run any applications.

I am somewhat able to get into Windows, but nothing more, it will boot up, but my desktop will not show, I get application errors for the things that are set to start up. I can not get into My Computer or do anything but just look at it. A few minutes before I started to type this post, I wrote down the error, and here is what it says:

The original problem started when I downloaded a torrent with "win32.backdoor-dnm" attatched. The system automatically shutdown. I booted in safe mode and avg couldn't find anything, and I scan with a different adware program and it found, several but it was only trial. So I decided to install a different antivirus: Norton Internet Security 2009. I eventually did fix "win32.backdoor-dnm" by following some special intructions and deleting registry keys and such and after scanning with CCleaner. The problem is whenever I connect to the internet a tracker is downloaded and Norton resolves it, but my system is lagging so there is clearly more than "win32.backdoor-dnm" going on. Slow system, random restarts. Also there is a screen freeze, but not full freeze(can't click on anything or use task manager) oddly enough fixed by an angered double click, it unfroze and norton killed "Downloader.MisleadApp", second time this happened.

in the last hour "Backdoor.Ranky" was removed and "Suspicious.MH690.A" was removed 3 times

this stuff mostly seems to be happening if the computer is left idle. I do believe the win32.backdoor was just a distraction to give a more serious problem a cover to manifest.

After absent-mindedly clicking Yes to a dialog that I KNOW I should have clicked No to, I found my work laptop infected with various malware just when I really needed to be being productive: Antivirus XP 2008. Blue screens that read "Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!". Ultra-slow typing and response times. That kind of thing. I did a lot of reading, a lot of installing (including falling for SpyMaxx once, but also installations of Spyware Doctor, Anti-Malware, CCleaner, and Ad-Aware), a lot of starting in Safe Mode and System Restores and, finally, after working through as many of this site's "Do this first" instructions as would work, somehow, I ended up with a system that SEEMS to be operating just fine. It suddenly isn't opening numerous windows when I visit google, or trying to open windows when I'm offline. I think I have almost "fixed" the problems, thanks to the advice on this site, and a few hours ago those problems seemed overwhelming.

However, it seems like my Hijack This file still has "suspicious" entries. Could someone take a look and see what they think? First let me say HERE is my thread for the BSOD you guys helped me fixed
That should answer any questions about my computer specs and such.
Now let me get to my problem
When I first got my computer (I built it myself) it was running like a dream. Besides the fact that there were BSOD problems... Somewhere in the middle of the BSOD problems this started happening: whenever I open anything even if its not CPU demanding for example Google Chrome or Windows Media Center (happens with every program) my speakers shoot out this weird screeching like noise (only if there is sound coming out when I open something) and my computers FPS drops so my mouse just kinda jumps around my screen for a moment. This only happens for .5-1.5 seconds after opening something. This is really starting to bug me as I am constantly listening to music on my computer so my music stops itself and this annoying and loud noise comes out then my music resumes.

I really appreciate any help anyone can give me regarding this problem and I am more than happy to give any additional information you may need to help analyze this. If you want I will record a video of exactly what is happening (even though I feel I explained it rather thoroughly.)

Again Thanks!

EDIT: Not just opening programs but opening things within programs such as google chrome tabs cause this. Also opening/changes webpages causes it.

Ok. Here Goes. I have my problems nearly complete. I left my computer for a month and when i got back my roomates had damn near destroyed it. After much frustration, here is what I am left with:
I have been using msconfig for every restart to fix my Startup problems. For the time being, I have these things turned off:
1) xggj.exe C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\xggj.exe For Location it just says "Common Startup" I have no idea what this program is for. I have deleted it numerous times and it continues to put itself in the startup folder after every reboot not in safe mode.

2)ccApp.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe Location: "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run So I realize that this is for Norton AntiVirus, but the program has been acting real funny, and when i leave this on, when it starts up, the first thing i see is this windows installer and then it says that norton cannot repair. please uninstall and reinstall. I am just going to delete this, but I dont know where this is at in the registry. There is not a HKLM or HKCU or anything of that nature.

3) cryapp.exe C:\Windows\system32\cryapp.exe Location: same as #2 Once again I have no idea what this is or does and cannot get it to go away. tried deleting it, etc. but would like to know if i need it

4) This one is absolutely nuts. Its blank for the name, blank for the command, and it has the same location as #2 and 3. Obviously have no idea... Read more

Hey there. I'm a new member here and I was hoping to get some insight as to whether or not I should start digging for computer tech. bodies.

I'm horrible with hardware and I'm terrified of messing with electronics for fear of becoming a cheese burger. I'll do my best to explain the issue. Any help is appreciated.
My previous problem:
I've had my computer for about three years. About a year ago I had decided to upgrade it with a new power supply, video card, sound card, CD writer for an expansion bay, and RAM. My brother in law did the installation of the hardware and litterally had to rearrange the contents of the computer to connect the graphics card to the power supply. Directly after I had upgraded, I started having random issues with startup: the fan would power up but I wouldn't get video. If I shut down manually and started up again it worked fine. After a year of that it eventually decided to stop turning on entirely. So I decided to take it to the great and powerful Geek Squad who gave an incorrect diagnosis of dangling RAM. They reseated it and sent me home.
The computer worked for a day and then refused to startup again. I took it back and they gave another incorrect diagnosis of BAD RAM. However, he proved himself wrong that moment by giving me new RAM and trying to start it up. Nothing happened, so he put the guts back in and stated, "YOU NEED NEW MOTHERBOARD!" (As you can see, I'm slightly angered wit... Read more

A:Computer had problems, was opened up and fixed, and is now much louder.

Could it be a wire hitting the CPU Fan? That's pretty common, especially as you've replaced the PSU. Fix is a few Cable ties.

I'd start from scratch if I was you - and you'll learn along the way...

Download & boot from Memtest and let it go for at least an hour - then you will know for sure that your RAM is OK. http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Download & boot from the Diagnostic for wharever Hard Drive you have : http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic7602.html Then you can be sure the HDD is OK.

450w ought to be enough to run that PC and that video card. Can you try the card in a friends PC and determine if that is the cause of your boot problems - or borrow a Card and see if it still has trouble booting.

On a GPT disk there can be many partitions.
The boot drive is the EFI partition.
This partition by default is FAT32 and is hidden.
When chkdsk /r switch is used it will fix and restore the drive file system on the C: partition.
The EFI drive partition is not fixed or restored.
Sometimes 3rd party software is used to make images or clones of disk.  The third party software may display an error code.  One of these errors codes is a failure to make a backup image due to problems found in the EFI partition.  In order
to fix this problem it requires using diskpart to label the drive.  For example assign letter=W:.  Then chkdsk is ran with the switch chkdsk /r W:.  This then fixes and restores the drive file system to fix the problem.
There are many threads within technet in which there are failure to boot:
inaccessible boot device
some raw drives
Which boot problems can chkdsk /r  or chkdsk /r C: fix?
How does it fix the boot problems when the boot is on the EFI partition and the EFI partition cannot be fixed or restored until it is labeled with a drive letter.
Which boot problems can chkdsk /r fix?
Which boot problems can chkdsk /r not fix?
If chkdsk /r fixes an inaccessible boot device what did it fix?
If chkdsk /r fixes a raw drive what did it fix?
Please be as specific as possible and please provide references.

So here is the story of my annoying problem.

For about two years now I've been having issues with my PC that seem to just multiply over time. The first, and most persistent problem was with my USB ports. After accidentally transferring a virus on a USB Flash Drive from my Laptop (which had an up-to-date antivirus) to my PC (which hadn't been connected to the internet in several months and had the same ativirus, but out of date). I'm sure it was a virus because there was an entry in the Event Log of my laptop antivirus for the drive corresponding to my Flash Drive, but none on my PC. Ever since then I've been unable to use any any Flash Drive on my PC. It either froze after a few MB and forced me to restart, stopped explorer.exe or rebooted my PC once the stick was recognized. At this point in time my PC has gone through about 5 Windows reinstalls and 1 complete formatting of BOTH Hard Drives and the USB problem persists. The USB ports themselves are fine. The workaround I found was to install Ubuntu, where they worked perfectly, and use Windows for specific applications.

Unfortunately this didn't last as more problems started appearing. At one point (and the reason for the first Win reinstall) was that most applications simply ceased to work. After a format of the system HDD the problem remained, and I eventually noticed that the file "system32dll.exe" had been deleted. For a time I used a work-around. Just before reinstalling I first test... Read more

Maybe there is more wrong with your PC than just having the previous vurs infection and the USB and CRC errors are due to actual hardware failures. Have you attempted to run diagnostics on the hard drive? BIOS virus....not likely.

What is the make/model and vintage of your computer. Mine i less than a year old and had a hard drive failure last year. It isn't a matter of if something will break or fail it is a matter of WHEN it will fail.

Ad-aware had over 1200 items most cleaned but there is a long list saying it cannot clean because of processes in use (this even done in safe mode), as well did spybot and ewido with similar big numbers and fixed items. I also included a list of startup items in msconfig.

I am thinking I may need a few "specialized" cleaners.

Hello. I have relied on bleepingcomputer.com to help me through numerous little problems over the years, but I never became so infected that I needed to post. This past week, after foolishly downloading a free music file, my PC developed a ransom infection: Antisyware Doctor. My PC was so mucked up that I couldn't do anything to help it, even using a second computer and following the instructions on bleepingcomputer.com. I had to give up and take it to a "professional" for help.Well, the guy did a pretty good job -I thought-- until I brought it back home and ran a Malwarebytes scan just to be sure. Malwarebytes picked up 13 infections! While it was running, my Trend PC-cillin popped up and notified me of another half dozen infections, with some being ".dll" files. Despite my better judgment, I deleted all the ".dll" files that were picked up by PC-cillin and Malwarebytes took care of the rest. I've run multiple malwarebytes scans since then and nothing is getting picked up.However, I am still having a BIG problem: Internet Explorer will not run. I have tried downloading version 8 again, but it doesn't fix the problem. Each time I try to reinstall IE, the re-installation process will continue to the end and then two pop-ups will appear that tell me certain ".dll" files are missing. Other than this (which is quite alarming) everything else seems to be back to normal. What do I do now and how do I make certain that I am 10... Read more

So I was trying to shrink my hard drive to make a second one for another OS. But I accidently clicked on Make Active, so I canceled my plans. The next day my computer didnt start with the message: Missing bootmgr ... something like that, I looked for a a solution online and tried everything. I succeeded on making my hard drive inactive, but now my windows wont start with Status: 0xc000000f.

I also tried to make partition 0 active, I succeeded, but I still get this message. When I try to repair it in any way on the install disc, it says I have no hard drive with an operating system on it. And when I try to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit it also says that there is no available Hard drive to install it on.

To change my hard drive options I used the DISKPART function on the install disc prompt thingy. I made some photos with info beneith. I really dont wanna loose this hard drive, because its like 1800 GB and build-in my computer.

Please help

A:Windows missing bootmgr fixed, but caused more problems

First , follow the tutorial Partition - Mark as Active , use either method 2 or method 3 to mark Disk 0 partition 1 (100 MB) as active .

Then run Startup Repair , for at least 3 separate times , with restarts after every single run ( Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times )

Let us know the results.

So after eight hours of in vain attempts to remove the newest version of the Windows Security Center malware from my computer, it's finally gone. However, there seem to be some remaining problems associated with it or with the process of removing it.

1) The blue screen of death will somewhat frequently pop up, often for no apparent reason.

2) I still can't connect to the internet. About 75% of the times I open Google Chrome, Firefox, or (god forbid) Internet Explorer, they completely freeze my computer and I have to restart it.

To clarify, I'm almost certain that all of the malware is completely removed from my computer. I did several virus scans using Spyware Doctor and Malwarebytes (which I have since removed from my computer) and I've deleted everything related to the problem. I don't know if it's relevant, but after I removed everything I still wasn't able to access my task manager... that problem has since been fixed, though.

I don't think there are any other symptoms. Any other info I need to provide? Help!

My little brother was angry with me and he spilled a quarter cup of warm water on my laptop, Lenovo Ideapad 110, HDD 500Gb, intel i3, I bought it about 2 weeks ago, when my brother threw the water on me, it all came on the keyboard, I immediately dried it with a paper towel, then with a cloth, then flipped it upside down to let it dry, I left it for 2 hours untouched and then made sure its dry, then i plugged it in to let it charge, becuase when the water was spilled on my laptop, it was at 6%, so i plugged and turned it on, it worked, but it showed me a black screen with nothing, i removed the charger and turned it on, it started up, but with a black screen, i then asked a relative that works in IT and stuff, he told me to dry it with a blow dryer, and leave it for 2 hours, i turned it on later and it gave me a blue screen with recovery, it had 2 options, whether i restart or go to advanced options, I restarted it and am now writing my question, is there any problems to come, keep in mind I am using a Lenovo Ideapad 110, HDD 500GB, intel i3 Windows 10, my relative instructed me to turn it off and leave it to charge til its 100%, so that it wont corrode, i really need to know if there are anythings to come, if so i need to get to my warranty and try to convince them that it was a hardware mistake (just kidding).

It is so annoying , when someone suggests something and it works for the problem but then other things do not work? So far the most important problem is NO RIGHT CLICK!. The computer locks up and after a time., the Dr. Watson debugging program , says it has to shutdown. The only way to get it going again is ctl. alt delete. everything else seems to work but this. It is driving me nuts. Since, with right click, you can delete, make short cuts etc. Has anyone had that problem yet? I hope it is simple to fix cause it took me 8 hrs to load this beast program down.

If your mouse is a USB device, try unplugging it, shut down, plug back in, restart and letting XP pick it up. Have you checked the mouse options in Control Panel to see if they've changed in some way?
