Can I Access Emails If My Server Access Has Been Shut Down?

Q: Can I Access Emails If My Server Access Has Been Shut Down?

My husband and I have several email addresses for our business that were created and hosted by another party using cPanel. Unfortunately we are late in paying our bill and our emails addresses have been shut down. Is there any way to redirect them? Any other advice? We did have access to the cPanel account but looks that was access was changed too. (see attached) If I am able to obtain access again, can I transfer the email addresses somehow?

Preferred Solution: Can I Access Emails If My Server Access Has Been Shut Down?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Can I Access Emails If My Server Access Has Been Shut Down?

what was the last part after the @ of the email
why not just pay the bill ?
if ita a domain youu own , then you can transfer to a new provider and they can also host your email - but there will be a hosting / email server charge for you on another host.

Assuming this is all via a domain name, what is your domain name ?
when does the domain name expire?

Who are you hosting with now - is it very expensive?
What country are you in

You will NOT be able to transfer the email address and all the OLD emails , just the email address may be transfered - the emails will stay on the current hosting server , and if you leave it to long , which you may have already done, they will delete all the emails anyway

On Windows7 Pro,  trying to run IIS.  The way I am used to execute is  on the browser "localhost".  I used to have the code in the directory  C:\inetpub\wwwroot.   Even before I copy,  I am hoping to see
the image IIS welcome page.  Once it is successful, want to copy the code as that was the way I used to do in Window XP.    However I am getting the following message.  I have administrator access to the machine and gave full permissions
to the folder  'C:\inetpub\wwwroot'.  Still the same message.
Error message 401.3: You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied (access denied due to Access Control Lists). Ask the Web server's administrator to give you access to 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot'.

Can someone help me to address this issue.  Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello there,

I'm struggling with networking problems.
I have server 2003 that acts as print server, file server and VPN server.

But after some configuring for the VPN adapter (separate adapter) I can't connect to \\server (that's server real name) anymore.
BUT I can connect with it over IP (, static IP)

So I thought that the VPN adapter is conflicting with some settings and disabled it, and it didn't help.

Server is behind router and I have static IP. Router seems to be configured correctly.
I can ping the server.

What's the problem?

May it be netBIOS problem?

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 Intel Pentium running Windows XP  sp3 and have been getting tons of junk mail. I ran Avast, malware bytes &spybot. Nothing found. So I started looking through the Dell help on my computer. I'm not as savvy as I'd like to be and while trying to fix the issue myself I did something that I shouldn't have. First, I tried system restore to go back to a later date but it wouldn't let me no mater which date I tried. Then,I followed a suggestion regarding the registries. HUGE mistake! Now my computer is stuck in a boot loop. I obviously need to repopulate my hives but have no idea how. When the computer starts the Windows XP logo pops up. Then a box pops up saying lsass.exe access denied a proccess has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights. When I click ok It restarts. The Dell logo pops up then the Windows XP logo and then the access denied again. Ive tried to start in last known good configuration. Safe mode. System restore. But, i keep ending back in the loop. So, I tried ordering some disks that I thought may be able to help while I've been reading through threads for information. I don't have any of the original software for this cop, I purchased it used a few years ago. But, I purchased a Knoppix 7.6.1., and system rescue from same CO, & 2 CDs off eBay Windows XP 64 bit & 32 bit as I wasn't sure which was the one I might need. But the were being sold as disks for this... Read more

A:lsass.exe Access Denied a process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights

Windows XP has reached end of life 2 years ago... It is an insecure Operating System and should no longer be used especially online.
The Dimension 2400 is weak hardware (Pentium 4 Processor, IDE hard drive, DDR RAM) from 2003! so 13 years old! Its not worthwhile running a modern Operating System on it and below minimum system requirements.
If on a budget you are best to buy a second hand OptiPlex 780 with a Windows 7 OEM license (which can be used for a free Windows 10 upgrade).

I have a Access 2000 database residing on one sever and an installation of SQL Server 2008 residing on another. Both servers are running Windows Server 2003. I created a linked server using the code below. When I run EXEC sp_tables_ex 'PropCont' I get the following,
"OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: The provider did not give any information about the error.].
Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_tables_ex, Line 13
OLE DB provider 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' reported an error. The provider did not give any information about the error."

I tried changing the code to specify my account information, which has Administrative privileges on the domain and I get,

Hello and welcome to TSF-

It would be very helpful if you could post a HiJackThis log for us. HiJackThis is a diagnostic and repair tool that helps us identify some very basic information about your computer, including OS, internet browser version, and service packs, which helps us to analyze your problem. So please download HiJackThis and post your log. It is important to have the most recent version of HiJackThis. The most current version is v1.99.1.
HijackThis instructions (~208kB) Download HiJackThis v1.99.1 (written by Merijn Bellekom) from
Save HijackThis.exe into its own permanent directory, NOT in a TEMPorary folder or on the DESKTOP. Temporary folders get cleaned out periodically and are often destinations for viruses and spyware. So you don't want it there. If you place HJT on the Desktop, then all of your logs and backups will get spread out over the desktop. That is not efficient. For simplicity, I recommend c:/program files/HJT/
Important: Close all windows/programs, internet connections and especially internet browsers before scanning and fixing with HJT.
Doubleclick HijackThis.exe. Config | Misc Tools | Check for update online, save into your permanent directory. If you find a new version, then close HJT. Unzip into permanent directory. Replace file=Yes.

Welcome to the TSG group!
The message insufficient memory or disc space usually means some housekeeping is in order. Have you done routine clean-up on your computer such as clean sweep which removes unused files? Also defragmenting the hard drive may be in order.
If you have not done this in awhile and need assistance let us know and we will help you through it.

Dear genii,

I am not sure how to use the loop function for the purpose of sending emails:

Let's suppose that I have a query (QUCust) with 20 customer ID's (CustID), their customer names (CustName) and their emails (CustEmail).

I am using Access 2007 linked to Outlook 2007 and I would like to send an email to all 20 of these customers. Any idea of how to do this? Is it perhaps necessary to dim the list of all these email addresses with semi-colons between each name?

A:Access multiple emails

I have posted databases with similar requirements in the past, what you need is a VBA Recordset set to the Query and a loop to go through the records in the recordset to pick up the email addresses.
You can either send the 20 emails or combine the 20 email addressses in to the Recipient or CC of the email.

I need some serious help with my comp. Yesterday i decided to change my antivirus program over to Nod32 from Avast that i was using. Everything went well but after install, I lost the ability to access alot of stuff. Messenger services, shoutbox on this forum, banners are blank, hotmail and yahoo mail don't show up. Even the web based messengers are coming up blank.

I went into safe mode, uninstalled nod32 and its still doing it. I ran cc cleaner and cleaned up the registry and temp files, rebooted several times. I tried a few system restores but even that is glitched now. It fails to restore to any point i choose.

I am using windows 7 32 bit, IE version 8. I even reset IE to default and still nothing..

any suggestions?

I currently have a csv file with 168 seperate email addresses, many of which are duplicated. I need to find a way to "filter" the data by the email addresses, and then send to each of the addresses only the related data involved. For example, rows 1-3 has an email address in column K of [email protected], rows 4-7 has an email address of [email protected], and rows 8-12 have email [email protected]. I would like to send the data ranges to the appropriate email addresses, w/o the need to cut/paste for all of the email addresses.
Another problem is that the data ranges for each email address could potentially change by quarter, so a macro with set data ranges is not a viable option.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In addition, lately, when I have sent emails, I recieve a message saying that the delivery of the email is being delayed...... What's going on? Appreciate your help. Thanks.

I have tried to bypass the security, now I have a blank screen and no sign of Outlook. I have loads of email to read and to send. The question is can I somehow override the sytem and continue to use Outlook? Could I at least get my contact list? And finally is there a simple-simon way of doing all this.

Hi all,

Ive created a database for an incoming telephone calls system and have had help from OBP in creating the database. Just when I thought the project was finished the end user has come back to me and has requested some sort of email system which would send the logging forms details through email to another person. I have searched through the internet and found this is possible through VBA programming. However this is not one of my strong points so could someone please help me with this part of the database.

I would be really grateful if someone could post the code I need to create that would send the information on the form directly to a groupwise email account. And any other tips e.t.c.

In the meantime ill try reading more into what ive found already to see if i can make sense of it.

I use an Access database to record donations to a ministry: donors info and donations tables. We send donor receipts for tax purposes. Currently, we Export a report to Word, then clean it up via macros. We have e-mail addresses for many donors. Rather than print, fold, stuff, and mail, we would like to e-mail receipts as PDFs to donors for which we have e-addresses in the database. Each receipt is a letter containing the donor's contact information, a standard message, and a list of the donations made for the year: pmt number, amount, and date. Currently, we have a Report in which all that information appears for all the donors. How can we automate the process of sending each donor his/her/their PDF receipt by email, for those for which we have the e-address? FYI, I am a novice; I learned enough to set up this database three years ago and it has worked well, but I am rusty on even what I built to get this going -- I can barely make minor modifications.

A:saving old emails for easy access

i use oe and outlook.

when you cross a fence to mozilla/thunderbird, use an external hd for emails how they're saved is everything.
are you using outlook at any more.

when i save emails on the single drive i "save as", some as emails and some as docs or pics.

the docs and pics come up like any other doc/pic and it doesn't matter where they're located.
i created "my docs" in my documents, already had my pictures.

when they're saved as .eml, you access them as email so the path/folder they're has got to be correct tying the external hd into the mix.

i create a "keepers" folder and some folks create a folder by name to save emails.

i'm not sure why you changed from outlook.

Can receive emails but cannot read them, they will not open. I think that this problem may have something to do with the following error message I get on booting: D\CONTENT\WIN9X\WIN98SE\WSEresume.inf. I previously downloaded and installed IE6 but it didn't work so I reverted to my previous installation of IE and it was then that I started to get the above error message (after trying to reinstall Outlook Express from my Win98SE disk.) I have searched for WSEresume.inf on my Win98SE disk without success.

Also, when clicking on the IE icon on my desktop my Internet Dialler screen appears trying to access the Net, accompanied with error messages relating to MSIMN(?) etc.

(A few months ago I successfully upgraded my OS to XP Home Edition but it "fell over" so I reinstalled WIN98SE and have had nothing but problems since).

A:Outlook Express 5, access to emails

I believe that D\CONTENT\WIN9X\WIN98SE\WSEresume.inf is the result of a failed security update. Get your security update and try again. Let us know what happens, please. That will help others down the line.

I'm unable to access HTML documents that arrive as attachments to EMails which I manage via Outlook Express on a Windows 2000 OS. Each such document shows as "present" when I click on the paper clip, but appears "greyed out" and is completely unaccessible. I can access other attachments, such as MSFT Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. I can also receive photos in .jif format that I've test-attached from another PC, but, interestingly, when they arrive at the Win2K/OE system, the .jif file is "enclosed" within the body of the EMail, and although still shown in the attachment list (via the paper clip), its name, like that of the html file, is "greyed out".

Anyone come across this, and know how I can overcome it?

Hi there
Why does Windows Networking always seem to hose things up ( Linux works EVERY time)

I have two computers on the SAME test private LAN one Whitehorse (W2003 server) and the other Blackdog (W8 Enterprise) both enabled "Shareable and Visible".

View from W2003 -- can see and access disks C,D, and F on W8 Computer

View from W8 - Networking shows the computer Whitehorse (W2003 server) but can't access any disks etc (or even its printer). PING even fails but W8 obviously knows it's on the Network because its found it. The stupid Windows diagnostics when you click Diagnose doesn't help at all --in fact I've NEVER found the network diagnostic panel of the slightest bit of help ever.

I've switched off firewalls etc while testing so there's no security rubbish to take care of while I'm trying to get this to work. LAN is purely LOCAL -- no computer is on "the other side" of a router.

Both machines can access independently the Internet through a Local router and connections are via LAN cable so nothing should be simpler. !! But can I get this to work !!.

I had a similar problem with W7 but it seemed to "Disappear" without me actually doing anything -- the proverbial "Ghost in the Machine" I expect.

A:W2K3 Server can access W8 W8 computer cant see W2K server

Assuming this Windows 8 Enterprise machine isn't locked down with Group Policy.

This type of problem usually requires that you change the lanman server parameters in order to get Windows 8 working with older servers. Do these adjustments on the Windows 8 machines that needs to connect to the server.

Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy

Local Policies - Security Options

Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
Set to Send LM & NTLM responses only

Set the Minimum session security for NTLM SSP
Disable Require 128-bit encryption

Reboot all machines after making the adjustment.

There are two separate settings for disabling the 128 bit encryption.

I can't find anything online to say it's possible to import Gmail into an Access database. Everything I find is Outlook, which makes sense since it's also a Microsoft product.
Is it possible to import information from a Gmail email into a current Access database?

I have a computer with XP where I do most of my emailing using Outlook Express. I have a lot of emails stored in the OE folders.

Can I access those emails from my other Vista computer? They are networked and I can get access to files in shared folders, but I can't find the folder/file that has those emails in it.

1) I can not access secure web sites including the Windows update site. I have tried with both FireFox and IE 8. In both cases the message is wating for securesite.com and the loading fails due to timing out.

I'm tailoring a friend's XP system to correspond more closely with my XP system, so that I can advise her by phone when (inevitibly) she's having a problem. (This lady is 89 years old, and only recently started 'computing'.) Among other things, I copied onto her system some EMails that I received which have interesting attachments or URLs in them, so that she can view them. Her system was set up to use an EMail program by Mozilla, so I modified her system to use Outlook Express (OE, which I've used for years), via Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs > EMail. That went fine: she can easily access OE via its shortcut, and is beginning to be able to use OE. But the EMail files in her file system still show a Mozilla-type icon, and when I click on one of them, the Mozilla EMail handler is activated first, with an error popup. If I deleted that and (as I recall) some other Mozilla crap, the OE 'primary' window finally appears (showing Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, etc), but without retrieving or displaying the EMail message on which I clicked. I thought that I found how to overcome this via Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types > Internet EMail Message. Such files (which have eml extensions) are set to open via OE at that point on my system, but can be changed at that point to another EMail handler. But when I tried this at my friend's house, I couldn't even find an 'Internet EMail Message' in... Read more

I have a 1and1 business email address. A few years ago I wanted to have those emails forwarded to a personal Hotmail address. For some reason I couldn't get it to link via IMAP or forward direct from 1and1 web mail.

I managed to set up the address on a third provider via IMAP and set them to forward to the hotmail account from there. I never looked at or used that provider for anything else. The app was on a phone that since died and I didn't put it on subsequent phones. I now have no idea what it was called.

I now want to stop receiving these emails to the hotmail account... But as I can't remember the name of the 3rd provider let alone log in details... I can't stop the forwarding instruction.

A) is there any way to trace the provider that is doing the forwarding so I can cancel the instruction?? Or cancel its IMAP permission without logging in to it?

B) If not is there any way I can stop the hotmail account from receiving them?? I've tried outlook support but with no joy.

Or c) Or do I need to lay this hotmail address to rest as a lost cause?

A:Internet access not working but receiving emails

do you have a work IT dept - you may not be able to do this on a company PC - and making any changes can be in breach of any Company policies - so be aware of that before proceeding

i would remove norton and see if that resolves the issue - if so - you can always re-install - so make sure you know any subscriptions

Norton Removal Tool
I would recommend that you restart the PC and run the removal tool for a second time - I have found instances where the removal tool needs to be run twice to fully remove all traces of norton and symantec from the PC

All Versions - The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2010/2009/2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products, Norton 360 and Norton SystemWorks 12.0 from your computer.

I can't access emails that I have saved on my hard drive. When I try to open them from a file folder, my computer bleeps (literally), gives me a momentary view of the email (any where from 1/4 second to several seconds, but usually 1/4 second) and then covers the email with the standard full-page popup which is headed with "The page cannot be displayed." (The rest of the page tells you several different ways to try to get the page to display, all of which don't work). I am running Windows XP, svc pack 2 and AT&T/Yahoo DSL. I have followed aumha.org's quick fix protocol for cleaning my computer, checking for parasite programs in my add/remove programs applet and running Ad-Aware (only found a couple of data miners). I'm afraid to run HijackThis because of all the admonitions that it is for advanced users only (something that I am not). Can anyone think of what else could be causing this blocking of my saved emails...and what I can do about it? Thanks, Champion.

We started with a problem - not being able to access one specific website on one laptop. The other laptop (wireless) and desktop could get to it - so we figured it was not the router.

Acer Aspire 1 - webbook running Windows XP service pack 3

So - here is what we have done

1. ran Stinger - found nothing
2. Ran Malware bites - found 10 items - it says it removed all 10 items
3. Ran Avast - it says it removed 8 items
4. Shut down/started back up etc
5. Reset computer back 3 days yesterday
5. Deleted Internet Explorer 8 - however, Internet Explorer seems to still be there
6. Installed Chrome
7. Still cannot access that one website
8. NOW - cannot send emails

ANY help offered would really be appreciated.

Thank you in advance
