Q: Problem with Intel(R) HD Graphics driver Aspire ES...

Problem: Intel HD Graphics keeps on crashing right after installation "Intel HD Graphics has stopped responding and has recovered error".I had this error when I recently upgraded my RAM to 4gb (original RAM was 2gb), but it did not start directly to crash. I was thinking that the upgrade was successful because it did not proceed to give me errors but it only started a few minutes right after I was playing DOTA 2 on my laptop. Right after then it kept crashing not when I was playing games but when I boot up my laptop the screen will turn black with a cursor and the computer beep of Windows 10 notification sound that something has been attached then ejected much like a flashdrive inserted and ejected.I have tried the following before writing my dilemma here:Tried system restoreMade a clean installInserted my old RAMTried the TdrDelay registry tweak (to no avail)I can fully use my laptop normally when I either disable the installed INTEL HD GRAPHICS or uninstall it and use Microsoft Display Adapter.I really need to install the Intel HD graphics driver without problems because since a graphics card helps a lot in the performance of a computer.PS: My laptop only has 1 slot for RAM.LAPTOP MODEL: Acer Aspire ES1-431-P1SHRAM used for upgrade: http://www.lazada.com.ph/kingston-value-ram-4gb-1600mhz-pc3-12800-ddr3l-135v-non-ecc-cl11sodimm-1rx8...

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hey guys, I'm running the x64 developer preview on an Acer Aspire 5740 running an older Intel GMA HD, and the current driver for it is Intel? Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64 (zip)v15.22.54.64.2622Download Link: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=3231&lang=eng
My current Driver is WDDM 1.1. I've tried following the procedure here http://www.eightforums.com/hardware-...00-3000-a.html, but after running the setup executable, the only thing that is installed is the uninstall files, then nothing happens, and when I restart, there's no intel updates when i check updates. I'm guessing it's just the difference in the two drivers that doesn't let it work with this one, so has anybody figured out how to get that particular driver working in Windows 8 or have any idea how to?

Hi, You can get around the restriction imposed by the oem graphics package by manually installing the Intel Graphics driver as follows. First, download the latest Intel HD4600 driver for your notebook from the link below and save it to your Downloads folder - you need the first option ( ie win64_154025.4463.zip ).  Note:  If you wish to install a different driver version from Intel, the method is still the same. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26079/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?... When done, download and install the .64bit version of 7-Zip on the link below. http://www.7-zip.org/ When you've installed 7-Zip, open your Downloads folder, right click on the win64_154025.4463.zip package, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok. Cut this newly extracted folder and paste it on your Desktop so it's easy to find. When done, hold down the Windows key and press R Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel 4600 device and select 'Update Driver Software'. In the following window, select 'Browser my computer for driver software' and then select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. In the next window, click the 'Have Disk' button and then browse to the extracted Intel win64_154025.4463 folder you pasted on your Desktop. Browse into the sub-folder Graphics, left click on t... I am having a problem with my Intel 82852/82855 graphics card drivers. this started when I tried to update the driver. I downloaded the driver, and tried to update it by unzipping the file, and going to device manager, selecting the device, selecting update driver, and specifying the location. it worked pretty well, but right at the end of the proccess, where the bar was almos full, it stopped. the wizard told me that there had been an error while installing my hardware; "the specified file could not be found." however, I didn't see a file specified anywhere! also, after this, my video card, (or cards, I'm not sure; device manager shows two had the little yellow circle with and exclamation mark near it. I tried this several times, completely unninstalling the drivers from the add/remove program lists. I've even tried it with an older driver, but I get the same message. Please help me: I'm pretty desperate!

So I updated my driver the other day, fix the color like I usually do, but when I start any full screen game, the color scheme reverts back to the default which as I said is way to dark.

Is there any way to fix this without having to revert back to outdated drivers?

Some days ago my display started to show distorted objects when I scrolled down, so I updated my driver to the latest Intel's one. The updated drive caused problem with starting my Windows 7 64 bit. The Windows did not start at all.
So I uninstalled the Intel's driver and install this one from your site, which is recommended for my device. My Intel HD graphics 5500 driver does not recognize your driver at all.
How can I resolve this issues?

This is NOT official HP Customer Support and I, as most other persons on this forum, do not work for HP. This is a peer-to-peer user supported forum for HP products. HP maintains no official presence on this forum and it is unlikely that HP will respond in an official capacity. Any reply from a HP employee represents their own opinion and not that of HP's. It appears you have the latest production release of the Intel Graphics Driver for Windows 10. The only other driver listed on Intel's support website is 14.40.26.4474 which is a BETA version. This BETA driver doesn't appear to address the issue you are having. HP hasn't made it difficult to update the driver. The Intel driver installer is what is telling you it can't install the driver. This is because there is a customized version of the driver on the computer and replacing it with a generic driver may cause issues or loss of functionality of the hardware. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Please click the White KUDOS "Thumbs Up" to show your appreciation

Hi all: I have a problem with my laptop (model VN7-571G). After a recent Windows 10 update, now I am not able to connect the laptop to my flat  LG TV via HDMI. I think it has to be related to Intel Graphics 5500 (current driver 10.18.15.4248). When I connect the laptop to my flat TV, laptop screen goes black (as it happened before), but TV message says "Without Conection". If I try to use Intel Driver Update Utility 2.6.1.4, it says I have to go to Acer website to get the drivers. I have already uninstalled all Intel drivers (VGA, chipset, etc.), and installed the ones in Acer website but the problem still exists. Any idea how to solve it?. I am not sure if this is where it belongs, or if it is a Graphics Card issue. I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely, causing me to do a hard shut down. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Hey there,

I've got lots of work to do but unfortunately my laptop is refusing to work. A couple of days ago I accidentally installed a virus and I decided to downgrade to XP. So to install XP I had to change the SATA Mode in the BIOS from AHCI Mode to IDE Mode. I then installed lots of drivers but everytime I tried to install the Intel (R) 3945abg Wireless driver XP crashed. (Screen froze and all the hardware stopped making noises) Eventually I got the driver to install by removing the Wireless card from the laptop. However, everytime the black XP loading screen comes up it freezes and crashes.

I tried changing the mode back to SATA in the BIOS but then I get instant BSODs and I won't write out the error codes because it's obvious it's from changing the SATA Mode.

OS: Windows XP SP3

Hi,

I have a HP 6730b notebook with Intel GMA 4500MHD. (Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB RAM)

I'm looking for the proper graphics driver.
I need a HP-customized driver as I have problems with the generic one on Intel's website.
Previously, I had a HP-customized driver which worked fine, I'm looking for that.

I tried THIS driver (from HP's website) but it doesn't support my resolution so it's probably for different hardware.
I remember the old driver I had (before reinstalling) supported my resolution and worked flawlessly.

What driver should I download for this computer?

Hi guys,

I tend to play online games a lot, and just general gaming on my laptop. It appears recently that is become quite a bit laggy. So I researched my graphics driver and I have Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family version 8.15.10.1883. I understand there is an updated version 8.15.10.2202 but when I try to install it I get the error: The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. Setup will exit.

I am getting this download from the Intel website...

Could someone please advise where I'm going wrong?

Many thanks.

Ok, I have an update for Intel Graphics Driver, this is the 3rd day that the install failed. I had a GeForce GT730 graphics card installed when I purchased this desktop. Do I even need this update since I use the Nvidia card? Either way I need to know why this update won't install. I just uninstalled HP Support Assistant and reinstalled it because it wouldn't open and re-installed it and one of the 1st 3 updates I tried to install the graphics driver won't update.

You Can Roll Back the driver to the old driver, if the new driver was installed. Go to the Device Manager, Click the Properties for the Intel HD Graphics then Click the Driver Tab.

Another possibility is to use the System Restore function and restore the PC to an available restore date that is BEFORE you did (or attempted) the driver upgrade.

i am running intel i3 1st gen m330 2.13 GHz processor with in-built intel HD graphics (core i3). before upgrading to windows 10 whenever I used to play any pc games the display scaled to full screen but after upgrading to windows 10 play the games I want to play at low resolutions, black borders on the sides appear making the display weird. I tried to change the resolution from the display scaling in the control panel and then change the resolution from the intel graphics control panel. but nothing works. thought I would wait for the latest major update for windows 10 but even after that, nothing seemed to have changed for me. are there any other solutions? please help

At a guess, the Microsoft Basic display drivers are what is installed for your laptop.

Intel has not released Windows 10 drivers for that CPU. You could try some Win 7 drivers:

Download Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64 (exe)

They may work. Or, it may be possible to get them in using work-arounds (install in compatibility mode, manually force a driver update).

It's regrettable that Intel is not supporting hardware that is less than 6 years old, but they are under no legal obligation to do so.

Hello I have a windows display driver problem.
i have a Factory Dell Dimension 3000 Computer
it has a 865g graphics chip accelerated chip vga bios

i have searched everywhere and there are no drivers for 7 or vista
i have read that if i use recommended settings that it would work
i tried and it did not

any suggestions
its almost unbearable to look at this.

A:Intel graphics driver

That's an old graphics chip. Intel isn't even developing Win 7 video drivers for newer boards using 965G.

You may be forced to buy an add-on video card.

So I'm trying to update my intel graphics driver but when I try to install the newest driver I get the error:
Error: The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. Setup will exit.
However, the driver I downloaded was from the dell website after I put in my service tag so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to update my graphics driver.
Does anyone know how I can update my intel graphics? Any help is appreciated.
P.S. I can offer pc specs if needed

Just had to do a clean re-install from the back up disk I made when this computer was new thanks to my nephew. I went to Device Manager to check if I had the current drivers for Intel HD Graphics Card. Right clicked then hit properties. Under driver tab hit driver details and I counted over 170 files. so how do I know of mine is current and which of those files might be the newer? This is Windows 8.1 64-bit.

A:Intel HD Graphics Driver Details

If you want know if your driver is current, look at the "Driver Version". You can then go to the Intel Download Center for the latest version.

Can I uninstall Intel HD Graphics Driver? I have an NVIDIA card. It is optimus though but I wouldn't mind if it always ran off it. I'm not sure how it works so I decided to be safe and ask.

A:Intel HD Graphics Driver [Question]

I'm guessing your computer came with Intel HD integrated graphics and that you upgraded a NVIDIA graphics card.

It's not going to hurt anything to leave the Intel driver installed.

If you uninstall it, you may receive a prompt to install the driver for it the next time you start/restart the computer.

The newest graphics drivers for the Thinkpad P50 contain Intel driver version 21.20.16.4550 (the latest available from the Support site). This version of the driver (as well as older versions) has a bug which causes Google Chrome to jitter when in full screen and moving the mouse around the page. (See http://crbug.com/672448 .) Intel has released a version of the drivers (21.20.16.4590) which is reported to fix this problem. I tried to install the updated driver from Intel, but the installer tells me that I can't because I need a driver version customized by Lenovo instead. Is there some way around that to install the new Intel driver? Will it hurt in any way to do that? Is there some way to get Lenovo to release a new set of drivers with the updates from Intel? Thanks!

Laptop: Sony VAIO VGN-SR190E
OS: Windows 7, 64 bit PRO
Driver (Sony Support): Intel Graphics Driver INDVID-70205985-64 (v.8.15.10.1855) (wont install)
Processor: Intel Core Duo P8400
System Devices: Mobile Intel 45 Express Chipset
Video Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400

The Intel Graphics Driver from the Sony Support site won't install. At least I don't think it installed. When I run the setup app it says "Installed Correctly" , then a window says it did not install with message that it is only for Vista systems. I have no idea if it installed or not. Can someone tell me where to get a graphics driver elsewhere? Or, how can I confirm that it installed?

Also: I went to the Intel Download website and found some drivers that might be the ones. I just not smart enuff to know which one might work. I ran their Graphics Detect app. and it said: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series (M.S. corp WDDM 1.1), Cur. Driver Installed 8.65.1.15.

thanks for any help
