Preferred Solution: Solved: NET. Main Frame 3. 5 SP1

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

This is really stupid, I just want to watch an animation video file to see how they did it, movement wise and it's in Divx format but Quicktime claims it doesn't have the Divx codec (I'm on Windows XP and all the other programs work correctly with Divx) Is there, either a way of installing Divx for Quicktime or another program which will allow me to watch an animation frame by frame without putting it into an editior like After effects. I mean I thought Media Player would have had this build into it, it's not like cutting edge tech. or something.

Thanks in advance for all help.

A:Frame by Frame video program like Quicktime

Windows Media Player is not the thing to expect features from. Pretty much every decent video player supports frame by frame. Try BSPlayer or Micro DVD player or Virtual Dub for example. You may not be able to watch the movie frame by frame even with a more advanced player and you will need a video editor. I think it's the encoding style of some codecs.

I would go onto my computer and after a few seconds everything would freeze. I couldn't close the program I was in or open a new one. Having tried numerous times I decided to reinstall XP from the company CD given to me by the company I bought the computer from. I did this. The computer is now exceptionally slow and the screen seems to scroll downwards in slow motion, as if frame by frame. On restarting the computer this happens and the dark screen gradually becomes lighter and eventually becomes light blue. I am told I might have be a problem in Device Manager, but I haven't a clue to be honest. The mouse indicator moves about - not too badly, but everything is so slow. This is the same in Safe Mode. Please help.

I received a digital photo frame for Christmas. I can insert a flash card in it to display photos. I have photos saved on my computer that I would like to add to the flash card. I have a card reader that plugs into my computer but have no clue as to whether it is possible to move photos from my computer to the flash card. Thank you all for your advice. I have Windows Vista Home basic.

A:Solved: Digital Photo Frame

Most frames will have slots for all the Memory card types including USB memory sticks.

just copy the pictures using "My computer", with the card inserted into the PC's reader you should see a new drive letter ( probably several but the others will not read if they are have no card).....what I do is open the folder where my pictures are and shrink the folder windows so I can see both folders...(Picture folder and the card's folder) then drag the pictures to your card reader folder...* hold the CTRL key to select the pictures indvidually or CTRL A for all in the folder (make sure you understand this part so you don't select every single file). There are several ways to to this.

I use software to convert my pictures to a smaller file size so I can get more pictures, once you get the hang of copying I can explain if you like
...with your frame turned OFF...plug in the card, then turn it on..it may work right away or you may heve to select the source because some frames have built in Memory.

Hello everyone! I've recently run into a problem repairing an older custom built system. it's a p4vmm2 board and recently the computer power supply burned out. They called me and asked me to replace the power supply and I did so but there seems to be some additional problems.
The computer freezes during boot at various stages. it rarely gets to the windows xp boot up screen but even if it does, it never gets into windows. my first thoughts were that the onboard video had burned as well so I swapped in an AGP card and bypassed that and received the same results.
How can I be sure if it's the motherboard? I feel as though I've narrowed it down to this but who's to say?

Thank you!

I need help to uninstall Microsoft Net Framework 1.1 hotfix, (KB886904) please. I have WXP Pro SP2. When I try to uninstall the hotfix from add/rem. I get "The upgrade patch cannot be installed because program to be upgraded may be missing" . I have installed 'Windows install cleanup', and when I open it the hotfix is not listed. Prior to the hotfix being installed on my computer by Windows update, I had Microsoft Net Framework 1.1 listed twice in add/rem, but when I tried to uninstall it, it came up that it was not installed so it could not be uninstalled. I got rid of it with a 3rd party uninstaller. I have also Net Framework 2.0 installed by Windows Update. Windows update also tried to reinstall Net Framework 1.1 but failed. So I would appreciate if someone could tell me how to get rid of the hotfix . I hope you can follow what I have written.

Hello Tech Support Guy Forum!
This is my first post, so i am very sorry if i make any mistakes.
Straight to the point: I have about 2 year old computer, that as far as i remember used to run pretty smoothly. I can't tell the exact date when it started, but right now it is very obvious, since it happens every time when i try to play any game. For example: I turn on CS:GO and in first few minutes - FPS: 300, then after some time it drops to around 100 FPS. I have latest drivers, my GPU temps and usages are all good when gaming, i clean my computer every day and i have ran multiple virus scanning programs.
System Specs:
GPU: Asus GTX 560 Ti 4GB
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-3550 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
Screen Resolution: 1680 x 1050 @ 60 Hz

Looking for help

A:Solved: Frame drops in any game after ~10 minutes

Hi and welcome to TSG.

You have missed one of the most important parts for a gaming machine ... the power supply. What is the exact make, model and wattage of yours?

What is the make, model and revision of the motherboard?

Is this a prebuilt system like a HP, Dell, Acer etc or a self / custom build? If it's prebuilt what is the make and model and has any hardware been changed or upgraded?

You say the temps are OK, but what exactly are they? What software are you using to check them? I ask as it is quite common for people to say their temps etc are OK when infact they are not Not saying this is the case for you but always good to check.

What operating system are you using and is it 32 or 64 bit?

What do you mean by you 'clean your computer every day'? Do you mean physically cleaning it inside and out or do you mean software clean up programs?

I just purchased a new Fujifilm A850 digital camera and a Hannspree SD7021 Digital Photo Frame. I'm having problems getting the frame to see the pictures on the camera.

I turn on the frame with the camera connected. Then I turn on the camera, and the USB screen appears on the camera, showing that it is connected. I then change the media type to "USB" and go to Photos.

I then get a spinning wheel, indicating that it is loading the pictures. However, after a few seconds of that, the camera beeps and the frame goes back to displaying whatever is stored on the internal memory of the frame itself.

Interestingly enough, I tried my sister's camera on it as well, and everything went fine. The pictures appeared quickly and the camera never beeped.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi coineeze,
Highlight your table and go to the borders dropdown box. Select borders and shading. That will bring up a picture of your borders with options. Change the width of the line to however big you want it for the bold frame. Then click just the outside borders in the preview. You'll see those turn bold and the other stay the same. Sorry if this gets long, I want to make sure I explain the problem sufficiently. I am trying to hook up my LG LCD HDTV to my husband's Toshiba Satellite via HDMI. I right-clicked on the desktop and went into "Graphics Propreties...". At first, I did a desktop clone, which worked out great, but I wasn't satisfied with the resolution. I figured it had something to do with the max resolution available on the notebook, since what displayed on the TV was just a clone of the notebook's display. I then switched to single display, with the HDTV as the display. That worked, andI was able to up the resolution past what was available before. Here is where the problem starts: I was switching back and forth with a few different resolutions, and happened to pick one that apparantly my HDTV does not like, as the screen went black and "Invalid Format" danced around the screen. As soon as I unplugged the TV from the notebook, it switched back to the notebook's display. Here is my question: I need to know how to either fix the resolution issue with the TV without it being plugged into the notebook, or I need to know how to reset the graphics settings so that it does not remember that I ever hooked it up to the TV in the first place, at which point I can start from scratch and not mess around with the resolution to begin with.

A:Solved: Problem with using HDTV as main display

Hi Skinygrl99, and welcome to TSG.

Found this in the PDF version of the A500 Series User Guide:
Directing the display output when you turn on the computer
Once you have connected an external display device, you can
choose to use the internal display only, the external device only, or
both simultaneously.
Some modes are only available with the appropriate device attached
and turned on.
The quickest way to change the display output settings is to use the
display hot key (Fn + F5):
1 Press Fn and F5 simultaneously.
2 While holding down Fn, press F5 repeatedly until the setting
you want takes effect. Briefly pause each time you press the F5
key to allow time for the display to change.
This hot key cycles through the settings in the following order:
❖ Built-in display only
❖ Built-in display and external monitor simultaneously
❖ External monitor only
❖ TV (or other external video device) only
❖ Built-in display and TV (or other external video device)
❖ Built-in display and external monitor (extended desktop)
❖ Built-in display and TV (extended desktop)
❖ Swap—Switch primary display between internal display
and external monitor when using extended desktop

That should let you get back to using the control panel to select a suitable mode for the exteranl screen.

I've been trying to clear out my hard drive of some stuff to free up some much needed space. However, I can't seem to find what it is that's taking up so much space. When I look at what all is on there, nothing seems to add up to the amount that it says is on there. My main drive is 69.6 GB big and it says I have 13 GB free (I know that's low, that's why I'm trying to clear it out of things I don't need on there). The problem is, I have uninstalled and deleted everything I don't need and have the main drive almost down to the essentials and a few other programs I use regularly. It should leave me with almost 30 GB free space, but as I have mentioned, it says I only have 13 GB free. Aside from what I have done, how else can I find out what is taking up all this space? Could it just be that something is wrong with my main drive? Thanks in advance for any help.

On my secondary computer, when I first got it, already had the Get Windows 10 app on the taskbar. I updated to 10 on that computer and I am really liking it, so much in fact that I want it on my main computer. But apparently, the last time I updated the thing was in 2013 (oops). I installed all the updates, but the Get Windows 10 app is not showing up, and none of the guides online of how to get it are working for me. Is it still possible for me to upgrade? This computer is more powerful than the second computer, so it really should have no problems. Here are the specs:

Have an input form containing a subform. Subform is linked to main record via a unique registration #. Subform contains $ amounts that I want to sum and display on the main form. I've tried using expressions like "Forms![HowPaidSubform]![TotPaid]" on the main form, but all that displays is "#Name".

How can I do this?

What version of Windows is on each PC?

How does your work laptop connect to the internet? (if its via a local network, which then connects to the inetrnet via a router there will be firewall issues)

How does your home PC connect to the internet?

Does "your work" actually permit a remote connection (and how do they manage the implied security issues if they do?)

I cannot get the MC7354 on the Thinkpad T520 to work. It is constantly complaining that the Hardware switch is off when this laptop does not have a WWAN hardware switch. I also have a MC7700 that is doing the exact same thing. I can't get either of these cards to work simply cause I can't get them to actually turn on in windows.

I have a hard drive that comes with my PC and that has a corrupted Windows, but the boot.ini still works fine. So I got a new hard drive and installed a new fresh copy of Windows XP on it. So now I want to format the old hard drive and use the new hard drive as the boot drive. However, if I removed the old hard drive, the new hard drive doesn't boot at all. I've tried using the FIXMBR, FIXBOOT, and BOOTCFG /REBUILD commands, but I think I did it wrong.

I currently have a wireless network set up at home which I connect to with a PC and 2 laptops. The PC runs XP and the laptops Vista.

I cannot connect to the internet on the main PC but have no problems on the laptop.
I have looked on various help websites and run the IPCONFIG/ALL tip. All info looks to be correct with IP address as usual.

Can anyone give me advice as to how to fix this?

On outlook express, when it first opens, the main window has gone, which has a link to MSN Explorer i think, and says how many unread email messages you have. Is there anyway to get it back, because I liked it better than opening on to a blank white screen, or my inbox. Thanks.
