Inspiron 3521, Flickering vertical & horizontal lines, purchased Jan. 2014

Q: Inspiron 3521, Flickering vertical & horizontal lines, purchased Jan. 2014

I got back from vacation and plugged my laptop in to work on pictures when some vertical lines and a bunch of horizontal squiggly lines popped up. I can't figure out what has caused them.
I've run CCleaner & Super Anti-virus to ensure it's not malware.
I've run the Dell PC Diagnostic full test (which said their was an error and could not provide the results). So I ran individual tests on video card, video stress test, monitor, and they all came fine.
I am now going to reboot in safe mode and see if I can run off a motherboard video system & see if it's the video card.
I don't really have any idea what I'm doing so any help would be great!

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I've a Dell inspiron 15r se laptop which is 1.1years old( model - 7520). It was working fine until last couple of days. Last week it started giving a horizontal white dot line on the very top of screen( like this ............. in white) for the entire width of the screen. From yesterday or so a similar line started appearing at the bottom too. Both of these line will come and go every 2 or 3 sec. And screen will jump a bit (like say 5 pixel or so roughly) and it will also shake sometimes which makes letters difficult to read.
The problem exists everywhere, even in boot screen. In short when I press power button and screen start displaying something problem also starts.
Today I connected an external lcd monitor via vga cable and it works fine. No line and no flickering. So I guess GPU is ok?? What could be the problem?? Could it be just loose contact or something in laptop screen cable?
Another question: I had warranty including accidental damage protection and stuff for a year. But since I'm outside this period now, what should I do?
And since I'm outside the warranty period anyway is it okay if I open my laptop and try something?
Please help!!

Hello, a really annoying visual defect suddenly occurred.

There is a vertical column of horizontal lines just left of the centre of my screen. I measured it to be about 4 cm wide and goes all the way from the bottom to the top. It started as a slight flickering but now it's happening a lot. The lines seem to be a ghostly mirror image of whatever is under them.

I'm on a Sony VAIO laptop running Windows 7, I've tried restarting twice as well as altering the resolution but to no avail so I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Hello Jinx23,
If this card has been in your system for a while, not a new install, then your GPU is going bad.  You might try updating drivers for the GPU and testing the memory, but it looks like a bad GPU chip.
No changes to your monitor? No chance the monitor cable from the unit is loose, checked the connections on both ends?
Run the Dell Diagnostics for hardware, on F12 Boot Sequence, drop down to Diagnostics, you can check the memtest, prepost, etc, but you need to drop down and do a hardware test or a system tree test.
Best,
Darrell WV

For quite some time now (Well over a couple of years) I've noticed small flickering black horizontal lines on my monitor usually coming out of the bottom-right hand side of the screen (Sometimes top-right). But they're not just lines. It's more like a graphical artifact. The line actually looks like dots, and it flickers until it starts getting shorter and vanishes (The movement of the line kind of reminds me of Snake). It doesn't always happen but often does happen on YouTube, seemingly exacerbated by scrolling.

I tried taking a screenshot of it, but it doesn't show up on screenshots.

The monitor is a Hanns-G LCD (28"). I wouldn't be overly surprised if the monitor is faulty as I've not been able to wake the monitor up from sleeping for years (I have to physically turn it off and then on).

A:Flickering Horizontal Lines

If the problem doesn't show up in a screen shot it is a problem with either the monitor or the video cable usually. Also having to manually wake the monitor up from sleep points to a monitor problem.

Hi there,Most likley the problem is going to be caused by either the screen cable been loose or broken, the inverter behind the screen or backlight. The only way to really tell is to take the laptop apart to find out. If your in warranty I advise you return it to HP for repair, Alternatively take it to a local IT repair shop. Many thanks,James

Hey, So i bought a lenovo yoga 520 laptop early this year and at first was very happy with the product. I recently purchased a Dell Computer. Periodically and randomly, sepia-colored flickering horizontal lines appear on the screen. It looks like static for a few seconds then disappears. Sometimes it covers almost 100% of the screen. I called the Dell Cust. Service line. They confidently suggested it was because my cell phone was near the monitor. I moved the phone, but the problem continues. I have not called them back because they didn't seem very willing to suggest other potential causes/fixes.

I found info. on the Net suggesting to adjust the refresh rate -- which I did. I raised it from 75 to 85. It seemed to help for a little while but may have been just coincidental. The problem continues.

Any experiences, ideas or potential solutions would be very appreciated. Thank you.

A:Monitor Flickering Horizontal Lines

You give no details of the monitor type, which makes it difficult to help, but we could assume a CRT type monitor from the refresh rates I suppose..

Intermittent problems such as this are certainly not going to be related to the reresh rates.

It really does sound like cellular phone type interference, a cellphone "phones home" every few minutes (random) to let the network know it is alive. This interference can affect a CRT monitor from several metres away.

Also any mains type appliance will affect a CRT monitor if it is within range of the magnetic field produced, as will any radio frequency device (but that range can be very large).

Hello,I just bought a new Pavilion dv6 (LW272UA#ABC) ten days ago and I've noticed that after the screen turns off due to inactivity, or because I close the lid to let the notebook sleep, two to three horizontal white lines flicker on and off  at the top of the screen every few seconds until I restart the computer. Should I be worried ? Should I ask for a replacement from the store tomorrow or should I wait to see if the problem becomes worse or until HP/NVIDIA release a driver update ?

A:Horizontal flickering lines on dv6 screen

I have had this same problem, I bought a pavilion dv6-6140us on Aug 4, 2011, it had the horizontal line issue. I exchanged that one on aug 17, 2011 to my local best buy for the same exact laptop. yesterday this new system starting doing the same thing. glad to know im not the only one, any help would be great. I dont believe the issue is with the graphics card because I have a raedon and constantin has a nvidia. however I have noticed that the problem is more severe when I have something in fullscreen. so maybe it is in the programming, but I feel like its a hardware issue. Thanks in advance ?

When I'm running any game and the camera starts to move decently fast, there are horizontal flickering lines (usually 2 or 3 visible, always in the upper half of the screen). Then when the movement stops, the lines disappear. I've tried troubleshooting and messing with the refresh rate, for I thought initially that the problem had to do with that, but to no avail.

Specs: Windows XP Media Center 2005

I am completely baffled by this one. My AIO 700-27ISH (UHD resolution) has recently started showing flickering horizontal lines on the display. This has happended about a week after upgrading to Windows 10 2017 Fall Creators Update. In troubleshooting the problem, i first checked the Windows 10 Device Manager, and all was listed as working properly. Then I scanned for malware and found none. Then I updated all of my video card drivers (Intel HD 530 and NVIDIA 950A) and still no joy. I also did a Lenovo Solution Center hardware scan that came back with no issues. Then I unplugged the unit and then plugged it back in after 5 mins, and still saw horizontal flickering lines. Finally, I hooked up a UHD TV to the computer via the HDMI-Out port, and the display on the TV had no flickering or lines, while the computer display continued to show lines. This lead me to conclude that perhaps the display itself was faulty. However, I just did some online diagnostics on the Lenovo Support site, and there were no faults identified for the display. Since my computer is out of warranty, I'd like to do what I can before spending big bucks on chasing down and rectifying the problem. However, I'm out of thoughts on how to proceed next. The only driver I have not updated is the driver for the display itself. Windows says I have the most current driver and I can't find any others on the Lenovo Support site. Any suggestions? By the way, I've had the Lenovo Ideacentre Scalar Fonts Imp... Read more

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Since the issue would be intermittent , next time that it would happen to best take a picture of the image and likewise try to connect it with an external monitor to check if the same issue would appear.

I would stilll recommend that you call in this issue for documentation purpose and further reference in the future , You may consult tech support for an action plan for this event .

So recently my computer has been experiencing some issues. Black horizontal lines have been showing up all over the screen. At first they were intermittent but now they seems to be happening more often and it's getting worse. Could this be an issue with the graphics card or the graphics driver? My system:
DELL XPS 15 Laptop 9530
Windows 8.1
About three weeks after I purchased this machine, flickering horizontal lines began appearing across the screen.  They are transparent, a little less than 1cm in height and traverse the whole width of the screen.  Each line is separated from the next by about a quarter of the screen height.  There are three of them currently and they always appear at the same height on the screen.  They are barely noticeable on a white background but can be prominent and annoying on dark backgrounds or photos etc.
Have run all the diagnostic protocols on the DELL website – everything working perfectly.
Not sure whether this is a hardware or software problem.
Any help appreciated.

A:Flickering horizontal lines always on screen (XPS 15 9530)

Hi ,
Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum .
In this case do confirm if you have performed these steps and advise ,
*Have you checked the system's performance in safe mode ,because safe mode uses very minimal drivers and graphics if the issue is seen in safe mode then its a hardware issue.
*What happens when an external monitor is connected to the system ?If the lines are not seen on the external screen then the system board works fine  .
*Have you tried to initiate LCD BIST ( by restarting the system and pressing the D-Key on startup ,solid colours should be visible clearly if the test passes )
*May I know how were the diagnostics initiated on the system.
Hoping to hear from you soon with the service tag of the system (send it via private message only ) so that I can check the specifications of the system .
Kindest Regards ,

Hello Crane1Thanks for using the Lenovo forums. It may be possible that the unit is having some issues with the cable connection on the display.

Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)1. Turn the unit off2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter5. Turn the unit on as normal

First thing, does this occur as soon as you turn the machine on or only when you log into Windows (assuming your running windows)?

Check all the external cabling first, make sure they are all securely connected etc. Also check internal cabling and remove and reseat the graphics card (if it is an add on card) and re-test.

Hi all,

I just got a brand new Asus VH236H monitor from Newegg. Pulled it out of the box, set it up on my desk, plugged it in, connected it to my laptop (Acer Aspire 6920), and all was good. That was about 6 hours ago.

Now, I'm seeing horizontal flickering lines all over the screen. Some are thin lines, others are thick bands. They're constantly moving up and down the whole display. Did some research, and seems like when this happens, it happens on all inputs. But the funny thing is, for me the flickering lines are only visible when in VGA mode. When I switch to HDMI (my Playstation 3), all is well. No lines anywhere in sight. Unfortunately, I don't have any DVI devices to also check that input.

I've checked all the resolution/refresh rate options given to me, and they're set to the recommended Asus values (1920x1080, 60Hz).

Can anyone tell me if this is a defect with the monitor, or if I need to find some advanced setting somewhere, and change that.

Thanks

I purchased a new Z27s monitor on Amazon 9 months ago.  One week ago, after a scan with Avast, the lower half of the screen started flickering and I have horozontal black lines across the entire display.  It clears up for a few minutes once in a while but overall, it's a banded, flickering mess.  I've used Avast since I purchased the monitor so I don't think it would suddenly cause problems, but I could be wrong. I've tried pluging it directly in the wall instead of a strip, using an outlet that's not on the same breaker, removing all phones, turning off nearby networking/wifi devices, hooking it up to a different computer to make sure it wasn't my GPU, using a different hdmi cable and using different hdmi ports.  Nothing helps.  Does anyone know what the problem might be?Also, when I checked out the HP warranty,  I found the product number is not associated with the serial number.  I'm wondering if that means I have counterfeit equipment.

Hey guys, thanks in advance for any help or advice (I'm currently compiling my zip).

I don't know what the cause of the problem is, but I have some ideas. I will start by explaining the problem, and how it arose.

Playing Minecraft, I mined some dirt and horizontal blue lines / squigglies appeared on my screen. Moments computer went to BSOD, but then rebooted normally. Tried again, and the same problem occurred. I've played Minecraft before; but it could have something to do with the new update.

I recently installed windows recommended updates, the problem had not occurred before this. I also recently installed Daemon Tools Lite. I don't think it's a software conflict...

I got the blue lines, but my computer did not shut its self off. After a few moments I manually powered down. After waiting I attempted to reboot: The screen turned on, but displayed only black. I took out my battery, rams, hd, and unplugged for a while. After replacing, it booted up and the screen worked.

Prompted to initialize windows repair prior to bootup, I accepted. Not long into the diagnostic vertical green/brown lines appear. Computer did not crash... Diagnosis found no problem. Started it up, ran some freeware diagnostic tool, and it crashed halfway through. Boot up = black screen. Took out hd, let it cool down, replaced, pc boots up.

I read that it could be a power supply problem causing this. Is it possible? To me it doesn't make much sense, but the DC adapter did fail to w... Read more

A:Blue Horizontal / Green Vertical lines = BSOD / Blank Screen Bootup.

A registry scan indicates many errors. Fixing these help or cause more problems? I've never done it before.
Running sfc scans now [picked up nothing, ran 2x], then will update graphics card. Will post results.

Sorry if this thread was jumping the gun on an easy solution... but when it didn't want to start up the first few times, I became quite concerned.

After uninstalling my my nvidia drivers, before re-installing, the blue lines popped up again after the required reboot. This time they didn't cause the computer to crash, so I shut it down. I'm going to wait a while, as this seemed to be a temporary fix for the problem last time, and then install the new driver.

After waiting a boot resulted in the all-too familiar Black Screen (no splash, dos writing, or mouse pointer. But light is emitting from screen). I'm going to shut it down, and leave it off for a few hours (give it proper time to cool off).

I own a Dell Inspiron 15 5559. This problem has been going on for about 12 days or so now. Every once in a while my laptop will flicker these colors of purple, black, and white. It seems to have gotten a bit worse lately. Here is an example of my problem in this video. I have updated my drivers, and run a diagnostics program from the DELL site. All leaving me with nothing. Saying no problems were detected.
I  do wonder if it's possible it could be an issue with my charger? I have been using a charger I had to order from amazon that didn't come with my laptop. I decided to order an extra one of the exact same to keep upstairs so I don't have to keep taking this charger everywhere with me. I'm not sure if that would be a cause or not.

A:Lap top flickering black, purple and white vertical lines.

Run the LCD built in self test (hold D through powerup).  If you don't see the artifacts, it means the screen is OK.
In that case, check and/or replace the wiring harness that runs between the mainboard and display panel.  If that doesn't solve the problem, replace the mainboard.
If you DO see the fault on the LCD test, replace the screen.
While a third-party charger has its drawbacks (won't charge the battery), it won't cause the video artifacts.

The monitor tests fine.  The problem started without warning and I made no changes to the computer before it started. The only occurrences which might be responsible were a series of power outages we had while the computer was running.  I never really noticed if the problem started right after that or not. Since then I have replaced the CPU, the video card and the HDMI cable.  I also flashed the BIOS in case that got corrupted.  None of these fixed the problem. It's not overheating...CPU and GPU both running in the 40's Celsius.  The RAM passes all memory tests.  Is it possibly the power supply?  I've had them go out before but this wasn't what happened before they did.  Does anyone have an idea?

You did not say what OS or Dell Model.  Video artifacts like that are a sign of GPU overheating.

Hi

Iam reinstalling Windows 7 for a friend after a HDD failure. as soon as I download the relevant chipset drivers from the Acer website (which installs the ATi 4250 driver) the screen is not only under-scanned (on HDMI @ 1080p/60) which I can fix... but as soon as anything fills the screen other than the desktop background it starts to get lines flickering on the screen and the screen flashes off and on ...usually spends more time off than on, its only ok (and under-scanned) on the default driver MS installs...if I could only over-scan it .... my friend said it was used on HDMI at home on a 1080p set but I dunno if his is 50hz or 60hz and he probably wont know either..

its a Acer Aspire X3450 with 6Gb of RAM and AMD Athlon II X4 645 @ 3.1Ghz with an onboard ATi HD 4250

can anyone help please?

thanks

Hello all.

I have a Dell Latitude D600 and at random times the display will flicker with horizontal lines. I can sometimes agitate it by gently twisting the LCD and it will flicker. I've done some research before and thought the problem would be the flex video cable, which I ordered and installed, but it still flickers. The LCD looks cosmetically perfect, as well as the inverter. The display backlight isn't flickering, rather there are white lines that flicker randomly, so I don't think it's the inverter.

I hooked it up via VGA to an external machine and only the laptop suffered the flicking so I believe that the graphics card is fine.

Here's a video on what I'm talking about.

Bump. I checked the flex cable connections to both the LCD and motherboard, and they're both fine.

For the past 2 weeks I have been having issues with my display. It started with being unable to launch GTA V after a recent update - it crashes on launch, and after much troubleshooting I can only assume it is because of an issue with my GPU.

Not only am I unable to run that particular game, but I am also experiencing vertical green lines and screen flickering while watching Netflix. It is very quick, but often.

I have tried all the basic things like updating graphics drivers, but I don't really know what to do beyond that.

This is my GPU: https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/R9-285-GAMING-2G

I have included screenshots from GPU-Z but I don't know what any of that means. :D

That would be a symptom that the card is starting to fail.
How do you connect your monitors? HDMI? or DVI etc? First, try replacing the video cables. Try a different monitor, If this still fails, then the GPU card should be replaced.

Hi,
I replaced the screen on my laptop with a new one. I watched how-to videos so am positive I did it correctly. However, the new screen displays a grey screen with lines. Only once, upon repeated off/on tries did it displayed correctly but once I tilted the screen it went back to lines.

I've Googled and done these tests:
1. Re-checked my screen connections 3X. There is only one 40-pin connector to the screen. It doesn't look to be damaged. Note my old screen was cracked and did not display anything so switching back to test will not help. Also, I am positive it is the correct screen for my laptop.
2. Installed Dell System Detect but when I clicked on icon in task tray, nothing happens. But when I click on Dell Support, it recognizes my laptop.
3. Ran Dell self-diagnosis and it only showed SMART Short Self Test - Failed WHD16-28O. Every other test passed. From what I read, that is a drive issue and not screen display related.
4. Laptop LCD Built-in Self Test (pressing D key & power button and Pre-Boost System Assessment). I could not try either because the laptop screen does not display.
5. If I press lightly in the right bottom corner of the screen, I can make the lines config to other lines. The screen will not display but it does change the non-configuration. Pressing on the edge of any other part of the screen will not make this happen.
6. Checked the Graphics adapter driver and switched to an older version because I read in other posts that  when they ... Read more

Was the system running when the impact that destroyed the screen and the hard drive took place?
One other thing you can try:  hold the D key through powerup.  Does that lead to good, solid-colored screen images from the built-in self test?  If it does, it sounds like a damaged mainboard.  If it shows the same fault as you've shown here, it's a  bad screen.

Hi all,

Found this site and was hoping for some help. A couple weeks ago, I turned on my ASUS G74SX-XR1 and the screen never came on. I took out the battery and discharged the static electricity and my computer started up fine. Well yesterday, after coming back from a vacation where I took my laptop with me and used it all weekend, my laptop screen wouldn't come on again. I tried the same method as before and it still didn't work. Troubleshooting it, I found that the backlight wasn't coming on. Graphics card OK. I saw with a flashlight that the computer was running, but it was running Startup Repair. This worried me. I let the computer set for a day and today it starts up fine, backlight and all. But, now my laptop connects to the router, but with no internet access both wireless and wired connections neither at home or at school. Also, some basic startup programs that I've never had a problem with, are now crashing on startup. Can these two problems be related? Or is it an inverter going out and corruption of files?

This was my original post in another forum, but I believe it now to be a virus/malware problem. Here are some changes to my situtation.

Hi Guys,

One of my first posts on this forum, as its my first DELL machine.
The workstation is:

DELL M3800
CPU i7-4712HQ
GPU NVIDIA Quadro K1100M
W10 Pro

Over the last few months, the screen has developed two horizontal lines (Splitting the display into 3 segments) that appear to flicker when showing certain shades of colour. The flicker is completely invisible under white or black backgrounds, but becomes extremely noticeable under different shades of grey, and other darker colours. The lines appear to start approx .5 cm from the left edge with a sharp contrast, and fade away towards the right edge.
The flicker appears to be getting progressively worse over the past couple of weeks, but does go away sometimes altogether.

I have reinstalled my video and chipset drivers and am running out of ideas.
Tried a HDMI connection to a TV, and the lines are not present, which seems to point towards the display being faulty?

Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated!

If you are also using the same HDMI to connect to your regular monitor that you connected to the TV, then, yes, the display is probably faulty.

I have a dell inspiron 15r-5537 laptop and it has developed vertical lines of pixels on the center-left of the screen. The color of the pixels seems to depend on the color being displayed behind them. see the link below for more info on what the lines look like. https://imgur.com/a/HREN8
anyway, i have reinstalled the video drivers so i do not think that is the problem, but they also do not seem to be dead pixels because they change colors sometimes. If anyone could help me fix this problem it would be great. thanks.

Hi Mykalsson,
There seems to be problem with the LCD screen on your computer to confirm we will have to perform the ‘LCD BIST’ (Built in Self-test) on the computer. Please follow the steps mentioned below to run the “LCD BIST’.

Turn of the computer.
Press and hold down the ‘D’ key on the keyboard and press the Power button.
You will see different colors on the LCD screen. Please check if the vertical or horizontal lines are appearing on the screen.

If you see the lines appearing on the screen while the LCD bist is running you will have to replace the LCD.
Also, connect the laptop to an external monitor or display to check if issue reoccurs.

I wasn't able to read what it says before the computer restarted.
Little back story, the computer had started running loudly which escalated to making a noise that almost sounded like grinding(or a piece of cardboard stuck in the fan). Couldn't figure it out so I gave up, last time I used it was January, but between last August and then it was only sporadic usage. A few weeks ago I turned it on again and there has been no abnormal noises, and out of no where I get the BSOD, computer still seems to be running fine.
Going to bed now, but will be on tomorrow afternoon to run any scans or give and needed info.
Thanks in advanced!

A:horizontal squiggly lines then BSOD-dell inspiron all in one desktop

Let's try looking at these reports:
1)  Please provide this information (even though you may not be reporting BSOD's) so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
2)  Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).
FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

Hello,
I open and close the lid a lot and since a few minutes my laptop have a pink vertical lines on the whole display and they appear everywhere. On the start sceen, bios, windows etc. Also when I change the position of the lid most of the lines dissapear for a while. I have run the lcd bist test and the lines are not shown there. Does this means that the problem is in the lcd cable? Could it be the lcd display itself or the video? I am also using an external monitor and it working fine there.
Thank you.

It could very well be the wiring harness -- andd that would be the first thing to replace.  If you need a part reference, please supply the complete system model information (i.e., Inspiron 5521, etc. - NOT just Inspiron 15).

I recently purchased an Inspiron Gaming Series Dell laptop and since yesterday when I open it/turn on the power button the screen displays green/white vertical triangle lines (can provide an image). It DOES NOT display the Dell logo at all and doesn't even give me the opportunity to sign in, it just stays stuck on the screen.
This laptop is fairly new, purchased back in August, so it should still be under warranty, but it worries me that it is having issues when it is still fairly new. What could be the cause of it? Any way I can fix it?

I just got my laptop 2 days ago and it almost immediately started doing this to me. When I open the lid all I will see on it are gray lines with the mouse being a square shaped slightly off color gray line area. When it does this I have to completely power down my laptop to make it go away. Once I power it back on again it works perfectly fine though.
How do I fix this on my own or do I have to send it back to dell since its a faulty laptop? I really don't want to send it back though so any help would be greatly appreciated.

A:Inspiron 15 7000 gaming has grey vertical lines after opening the lid

Send the system back for replacement - the other option is a repair, which will also require sending the system back -- and makes little sense on a brand new system.
