Preferred Solution: Weird music in my headset everyday. performance issues as well

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Not sure if this is the right forum, but since I can't locate the error, I start out here.
Bought a new computer 2 months ago, but I have a weird problem that I haven't been able to locate a fix for. The problem was bigger when I first received the computer, so I ended up returning it to the producer, and got the graphics card replaced. I got my computer back a few days ago, and sadly the problem remains (however in a smaller scale, and not so frequently), so I turn to you guys for help.

At random intervals the sound will get twisted and start lagging, and the overall performance of the computer will drop massively. The performance get so bad that I can't drag the mouse pointer over the screen without it lagging. This will happen when I surf the web, and often in combination with streaming videos or listening to music.

The problem I'm facing is that I can't locate the reason for the problem. For example I can play the new Dragon Age Inquisition on Ultra settings for hours at a time, with no problem. But sometimes I open Dragon Age, and the lag is so bad I just have to turn off the computer. At the same time I can stream videos, surf the web and play music for hours one day, while the next day streaming a video will be impossible because of the lag.

The problem occur on all browsers (Firefox, Opera, chrome), and on all streaming sites (youtube, live streams and so on). I have tried to disable almost all background programs (like skype, steam... Read more

A:Weird performance/sound issues on a brand new PC

as they have already replaced a part on the PC - i would take it back and see what they have to say

if you have all the latest drivers installed on the machine and its still a problem , i would return it personally, as they already must have thought there was an issue to replace the graphics card

As always, got harassed into using Vent, and with every stupid ass Mic program, my music sounds like ass in a handbasket. Staticy mainly. Not overwhelming but enough to be annoying when listening to rock..Can anybody tell me the possible cause of this? Thanks. Windows 7 64bit OS.

A:Static in music after using headset?

Have you tried using System Restore to roll back Windows to a point in time when everything when your computer was functioning correctly? It allows you to undo system changes without affecting your personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.Video: Fixing a problem using System RestoreIf that doesn't help, try restoring an earlier system image or backup. No suitable restore point, backup, or image available? I recently purchased a usb headset and I'm having some problems with it. It's always producing a soft beeping, kind of like morse code but faster. I also regularly hear the sound you get when someone is about to receive a text message (cell phone interference), like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0O1_FYzbjw but longer and without a visible cause. The beeping is the most annoying though, since it's always there.

Some things I tried:

- The headset works perfectly on another pc.
- The same problem in all usb ports.
- I tried moving the pc to another part of the house, it's the same everywhere.
- Raising or lowering the sound volume has no effect on the volume of the beeping.
- If I play music or a video, the beeping remains. If the music is loud enough, I don't hear it anymore.
- I updated some drivers (usb, sound) without effect.

What's weird is that it seems like the pc itself is the source of the sound, whether the headset is plugged in or not. There seems to be some very silent beeping around the power inlet. Somehow this seems to be transferred to and amplified by the headphones. I tested all fans I can see (by stopping them briefly) and removed the dust inside, without results.

Also, very strangely, if I go to "recording devices" and just leave that tab open, the sound disappears almost completely (it seems to become very silent).

Any ideas?

I have been having a strange problem recently, I am currently using the Razer Kraken Pro (World of Tanks lim. ed.) headset [analog] and every now and again the sound will completely cut out.
Originally i thought that the headset had died and i needed to buy a new one but for some reason, when i unplug the microphone jack for the headset, the sound reappears. So basically when the mic is plugged in, the sound plays out of my laptop, and when i unplug the mic lead, the sound is back in my headset.
This wouldn't really be a problem if i didn't play games that require a mic (but i do ).
Also the headset will work completely fine the next day (but not after a restart :/)

i'm new to these forum style help so please bear with me, i'll provide what ever information your software did not get.

i'll outline the common faults/happenings
BSOD code Driver Power State Failureaudio static and rarely high pitch squeal (i've removed the built in speaker because i couldn't tolerate it anymore, could be temporarily fixed by tapping the surface area but it can cause a freeze/BSOD or no audio output 50/50 chance whether lucky or not)visual on screen fails to properly display(haven't tested if it still happens when i use the vga output yet but will next time)laptop freezes (can only be fixed by holding power button to power off, then normal startup, or if lucky a light tap above the harddrive)Caps lock and num lock lights flash, 5 times)sound drive fails to load(i get a notification when the desktop has fully loaded icons and tiles)videos will speed up, audio includedUSB ports will not recognise devices, 10101 serial port(with 2 adpaters serial > ps/2 > USB) pushes out too much power for usb devices) My USB devices are Nokia 520 cellphone, WD external HD, USB mini camera.

i think that is basically it. I hope that it is something that can be fixed through software changes.

A:BSOD everyday, sound issues, Driver Power State Failure?

Hi Kaboose79 & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

I am really sorry for the delay in response. Life is very busy for everyone in the BSOD section

The ZIP file uploaded by you is Empty. Kindly follow the instructions again and re-upload the freshly generated Diagnostic ZIP file. Also, kindly do not touch any components of the system, since it is very dangerous. Did you try removing the Graphics Card and using the inbuilt graphics processing unit?

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Whenever I try to use my Logitech Premium USB headset 350, all the sound is highly distorted and sounds tinny/robot like. I thought that it was the headset, so I tried it on another PC, just to make sure. On my friend's, it seems to work perfectly fine with no distortion. Could this mean that maybe the drivers for the headset/soundcard are messed up in some way? I have tried installing the new realtek audio driver and numerous other things, but nothing seems to work and my headset still remains distorted. Speakers however seem to work fine on my PC. Please help.

Hi all,

I am posting this for a friend:

I have recently bought a new headset, because I saw it at a friends' and I liked it alot. When I plugged it in, everything worked fine. But in my first skype call, people could hear all the sounds I heard, except for themselves.

So I tried muting my microphone, but that made it even worse. It was like my stereo mix was the recording device. People could hear everything, just as if it was their sound. The weird thing is that they do not hear themselves.

Edit: My friend, who has the same headset, has no problems at all with it.

Help would be really appreciated,

Should I adjust for best performance of "Programs" or "Background Services"?
This is what I read on Swee****er.com, a place you buy music gear.

Processor scheduling determines which types of processing are given a higher priority by Vista. The default setting is to devote more to your programs. This seems good on the surface; however, audio drivers run in the background, and NOT as separate programs. In order to get the most performance from AUDIO gear, it is best to set your processor to handle background services first.

Does this hold any truth?
Thanks for the help guys.

PS- Ive already done most of the other tweaking, such as disabling certain services, and other things. This is the only thing that makes me wonder.

A:Music Production Computer-Performance

Hello Dozer, and welcome to the vista forums,

the Background settings on windows OS is more related to desktop Vs Server set-ups but as the statement made on the site is basically true then it may well be that running in Background Process mode may improve performance in your specialised role.

I would have to assume that the statement made is from their experience but as each system is unique the only way to truly know in your case, is to give it a try change the setting and use it for a while and see if there is a perceivable improvement.

The correct way would of course be to create a benchmark for your machine. EG process a particular file both with and without this setting and compare time taken, but I have found that often it is the perceived performance that really matters in these things

Hi everybody

About 1 month ago I had some weird issue with my HDD after a power failure so I had to change the HDD with this one.

I cloned it and for a short perod of time everything seamed to be fine.
However, 1 week leater I start experiencing system lag & freezing. For example, if I try to copy something (usually big files or many files and when I try to copy to/from USB drives), I simply can't watch a movie or surf the web without lag & browser/player freezing. Sometimes even the whole system freezes. At first I couldn't figure it out since in the same period of time I upgraded my AV software (N360), browser (Opera - lately Opera seams to be a CPU & memory hog so it was the first thing I suspected) & uTorrent client (not the first time I'm having problems with it so this was my second thought).

So I uninstalled them all and tried to figure it out. Unfortunately nothing changed so I am starting to suspect the new HDD. I ran a full test before cloning the old one and ran another few test when I start experiencing those problems but nothing showed up.

The system was fully tested after the power failure & HDD replacement, just to be sure.

Another weird thing is that CrystalDsk Info doesn't show up the correct info and doesn't detect the RPM/buffer size and Speccy shows 10k RPM when the HDD has 7200.

There is another problem: the new HDD is SATA3 with 64MB cache while the mobo only supports SATA2 (32MB the old drive). I wasn't expecting any issues ho... Read more

A:Weird behavior & bad performance with new HDD

The FAEX's RPM and cache come up as unknown in CrystalDiskInfo here as well so it's not an isolated occurrence, it's probably just the HDD and CrystalDiskInfo disagreeing with each other. There is probably nothing to worry though, since the SMART info appears to be read correctly.

I'm afraid I can't constructively advise regarding the performance of the HDD though, I've never had an HDD act like that before so I have no experience to relate to.

I experience some kind of strange issue with my laptop performance. It is Toshiba L505 with onboard Graphic chipset from Intel. When I connect a second monitor the laptops' performance is going down, although the usage of CPU and RAM stays on it's normal level. After rebooting the computer everything starts to work perfectly. Now each time I turn on the computer, I have to restart it again to ba able to work. The monitor works well on any other computer. I would say the problem is related to the hardwere of my laptop, but if it works after restart, than it should be able to work without restart - than there must be the way to fix the issue.

I have installed different drivers (the latest and some of the earliest) for my chipset from Intel site. There is no changes. Changing the resolution of the second monitor also didn't help. The only way to make it work fine is to reboot the system (Win 7) each time after turning on the computer. You must accept it is kind of weird problem ..

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

When Vista is installed it runs fine. Its not until we add the ATI vista 64 drivers does the machine slow down to a crawl. Originally this was with an x1600xt so we upgraded to the hd2600xt. Same issue. Now comes the weird part. So we got our hands on a single core amd 64 3200+ cpu and put it in. Now the machine runs fine. Why would using a dual core processor slow the machine down significantly. He has set up a dual boot with xp 64 and it runs fine with the x2 processor. So the cpu isnt bad. Any ideas would be great, since we are out of them at the moment. Thanks

Ok well it has been a while since I posted requesting help in here. I suppose that could be considered a good thing... Anyway I checked the "Preparation Guide For Use Before Using HijackThis and Other Malware Removal Tools" thread just to double check the proper way to post in here and noticed you guys mention to use a program called "DDS". I have never used this in the past, I have always only used HijackThis but I will, for the sake of covering all my bases, included both the DDS files and the HijackThis report.Ok on to the problem at hand. I will list the problems as I remember them in the order of when they happened (hopefully, knowing my memory...) starting with the more recent problems. (1.) What has happened recently is I have noticed that my processor has been maxing out at 100% doing things that would normally not require more than maybe 20% of the processor. (2.) I have recently done some fairly major creation/deletion/moving of files in hopes of lowering the amount of junk on my computer. I have also run a defragmentation on my hard drive but it is hard to tell if it really worked because whereas in Windows XP the disk defragmentation tool gave you the ability to analyze your hard drive and then actually watch the progress as it defragmented the hard drive, Windows Vista only gives you the ability to "Defragment Now" and then all you can do to tell whether or not it is done is to stare at the little 'Vista ... A:Weird Music Playing On My Computer

Hello,Your system is terribly infected. Problem with these infections nowadays is, it causes a lot of damage. Even if we clean the malware off your system, I can't guarantee that your system will be clean afterwards, because these infections/bundles leave a lot of leftovers behind that most scanners won't even recognise and logs won't show. Also, I can't promise you we can repair all the damage it caused... Even after cleaning the malware, you can still get errors afterwards because of the damage. Solving these is not always possible since it will be searching for a needle in a haystack to find the right cause and solution. So, we can try to clean this up and do what we can, but keep in mind that we can't solve ALL problems this malware already caused. In light of this it would be wise for you to back up any files and folders that you don't want to lose before we start. Reason I am telling this is because when a system is so terribly infected and we try to clean this up manually, the damage that is already present may interfere with our removal attempts. Perform next instructions in the right order..I see you have the NeoPets toolbar installed. This Toolbar has a questionable reputation, so that's why I recommend you uninstall it.Then, * Download Brute Force Uninstaller.Unzip it to a folder of it?s own (c:\BFU).Read here how to unzip/extract properly:http://metallica.geekstogo.com/xpcompressedexplanation.htmlStart the Brute Force Uninstaller by doubleclicking BFU.exeNext to... Greetings, I just switched my main computer from XP Pro to (in a different HD) Vista 64.
One of the reasons for the switch was that I had purchased the computer with 8GB of RAM and I wanted to see what kind of performance I could get from it.

These are my specs:
Computer Systemax
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz (2397 MHz)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista x64
8GB of RAM (4 when I extracted these specs - I was testing to see performance)
DirectX version: 10.0

Realtek Winfast PX8600 GT HDMI(NVIDIA)
GPU processor: GeForce 8600 GT
ForceWare version: 162.22
Total av. graphics mem.:2014 MB
Dedicated video memory: 256 MB

As far as the performance issue, I am afraid I am not seeing a definite increase in performnce comparable to the XP Pro installation with just 4GB (3.25 to be exact, due to XP utilization of memory)

I am starting to woonder if there is something I can do to increase the system performance otehr than the obvious (Take out Aero, etc.) It's not the the computer is slow in handling programs, but some interface activities, such as opening and closing folders and windows, launching programs, etc. Are as fast or slower than on the XP OS.

Most recent problem:

It's actually hard to explain precisely what is going on, but I'll try my best.

Performance is an elusive issue in higher end computers such as yours.First tho' - Most likely your graphics drivers are a tad bit corrupted, and the following will help to update them:Download the latest forceware drivers for your OS and video card (according to what I read, these are the most current: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_169.25_whql.html )Uninstall the nVidia stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program.Uninstall the video card from Device Manager (go to Start and type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter)Reboot and dismiss any "Found New Hardware" dialogs.Double click on the freshly downloaded drivers and follow the prompts. In most computers the big 3 performance issues are:- the hard drive- the RAM- the CPUSo, that's the first place to check. Luckily Vista has a number of tools to help with this. The first is Task Manger (right click on the Task Bar and select "Task Manager". Scroll through the tabs to see what's going on inside of your system.Next, go to Start and type in "compmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then start looking at this stuff (it's listed in the left hand pane):- Event Viewer...Windows Logs...both the Application and System logs- Reliability and Performance...Monitoring Tools...both the Performance and the Reliability monitors- Device Manager- Disk Management- Services and Applications...ServicesWhat are you looking for? Hello and Welcome ..

Does this have something to do with my SSD starting to fail?
Is there some virus hijacking my resources?
Are my drivers bad?

We can try to briefly check these with the following methods, or use stronger programs if required..

Please download Rkill (courtesy of BleepingComputer.com) to your desktop.
There are 2 different versions. If one of them won't run then download and try to run the other one.
You only need to get one of these to run, not all of them. This gives a preliminary reading, and clears your Antivirus/Antimalware programs.
You may get warnings from your antivirus about this tool, ignore them or shutdown your antivirus.
rKill.exe: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/10/
iExplore.exe (renamed rKill.exe): http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/11/
Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
If using Windows Vista, 7 or 8 right-click on it and choose Run As Administrator.
A black DOS box will briefly flash for a minute or so, and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
Do not reboot until you run the next few tools.
If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
If normal mode still doesn't work, run the tool from safe mode.
When the scan is done Notepad will open with Rkill log.
Post it in your next reply.
NOTE. rKill.txt log will also be present on your desktop.

Weird problem that I can't seem to find any info on despite being resourceful with Google.

For awhile now, my PC wants to be plugged in. It will work on battery for browsing or light app work, but if I'm doing something CPU intensive it lets me know right away that just being on battery will not do, and performance breaks down to the point that sometimes it crashes my prog.

I've looked at my performance settings, and as far as I can tell I don't have anything selected that sacrifices power to save battery life. Any help is appreciated.

Also, it's an HP dv7 laptop, a 2010 model (4183cl, I think). i5 processor, 8gb ram... etc etc

Not sure if this is the correct place for my problem or not - don't really know if it's an OS, software or hardware issue, so apologies in advance if the Windows XP forum isn't the best place for it. But anyway...

I have a PC issue that I'm having great difficulty in even describing.

The system boots into windows nice and fast, but once its done so it becomes very temperamental and... slow isn't the right word... almost "lazy". First of all it takes a little time to load up my startup programs, not much longer than usual but if I try opening any other programs during this time, I get hangs (pointer moves but programs and icons don't respond for a long, long, long time, hard drive does not thrash or do much at all until the hang seems to eventually work itself out) and things take a long time to happen. After startup items have loaded, the problem persists - I can usually open Firefox after a few minutes and it runs absolutely fine, my Comodo antivirus and Spyware Doctor software works, but I still constantly and randomly get slowdowns and software will randomly become unresponsive from one minute to the next. And it's stupid things that it seems to get stuck on - I can be happily watching youtube videos one moment, then click on the start button and the menu takes a minute and a half to load, or vice versa. I am unable to run games about 80% of the time, but when I can get into, say, Oblivion then it runs fine at the usual framerate until eventually it will h... Read more

I suggest you check msconfig and Task Manager to see what is running at Startup

msconfig check
Start/Run and type in

Keep the page open then go to the link below. It will tell you what all the entries are and whether you can disable them or not. It will also identify any malware. Disable everything which is not needed to run at start up

Read the Key at top of page. Use the Search box to check all your entries

When you reboot you will get a message saying you have started in "Selective Startup" Click "Don`t show this message again" then OK

Hello, need some help as we seem to have been "attacked" - when opening IE and connecting, we hear a weird mashup of ads, music, news, etc in the background of whatever we are doing.  No other programs appear to be running and even when we shut all other programs off - as long as we are connected, we still hear the sounds.  I've restored computer to a previous date with no luck and also run basic scans - nothing unusual.
Dell Inspiron N7010
Windows 7 Home Premium
Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm on Windows XP and I have a weird reoccurring problem that's been happening for the past two months or so.

Ever once in a while my computer randomly plays via the speakers a split second fragment of a song. At first it was just the line "O Sole Mio" from the song of that same name. Every few minutes it would just play out of nowhere. This wasn't too annoying most of the time since I keep my headphones plugged in my speaker most of the time so I'd only hear it when I listened to music or watched a clip, and then probably only once or twice in a half hour. Recently it's also started randomly playing a different song fragment. I can't identify that song but it sounds like hip-hop and the line that plays is "one in a million". "O Sole Mio" and "One in a million" just randomly burst out of my speakers several times a day (seperate from each other) and I have no idea what's causing it. As far as I know I don't have either of those songs saved on my computer. I have Symantec Antivirus and it doesn't pick up anything, and I don't have any programs besides AIM or Firefox/IE running when it's being doing this.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on and how I can make it stop? Thanks!

Could be from Windows Messenger. It's capable of opening you up to spam, including random audio.
Try disabling it.

I've had the same problem with 2 wireless gaming headsets. The corsair void pro wireless and now the Logitech G533 Wireless. Basically the mic sounds terrible and I know the problem... I just can't fix it. When I am using the headset using it's wireless USB adapter, it defaults the Default Format to 8000 HZ (telephone quality).

The problem is when I try to change this to higher quality format as seen in the next shot:

It throws this prompt and when i select YES it closes the windows and doesn't save the changes. I have closed all applications using audio and still get the problem... Anyone have any ideas? It's been very frustrating!

I am pretty sure there are as many recording issues as there are people with microphones, and I've been searching all day for a solutions to my issues to no avail. Either the people with the microphone issues have something different going on or the thread simply ends with no solution.

So I decided to ask my own questions to you guys. Here goes.

Bought a new headset about three months ago due to a similar problem, and assuming it was an issue with a cheap headset I bought a slightly better built one.

For no reason, my microphone will not work. With the pink plug in all I get is static, with the USB attachment only silence. If I fiddle with the mic boost, the green sound bar (that indicates sound being picked up) will move to match the level of boost (boost = half way, the green bar sits at halfway).

The headphones work find with both the plug and the USB attachment, and the microphone will work in my laptop, just not my PC.

I have Win Vista 64, Realtek HD, and Logitech G330 headset. If you need any more info just ask, I'd love ANY help!

Recently my headset has been not only recording my voice but also the background noise that the computer makes. So for example if I am in an online game trying to say something on the mic, my voice will be drowned out by the sound of the game. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Turn the microphone volume down a touch so it is less sensitive. That might help, always helps with me

Everytime I plug in my G35 headset(usb), any platform of audio/media stops working and will freeze. Any online videos will not play and when I access audio files media player just freezes. I have re installed the drivers before and it didn't seem to help. This only started happening recently and I've been using the headset for 1-2 years now.

Plus no sound comes from the headset but after I plug it out my speakers don't have sound either and I have to restart pc to fix it.

Today the headset i've been waiting for arrived. My Steelseries 5h v2 (W/O usb driver).
My old Headset died so i ordered this one..
My problem is that the microphone is EXTREMELY quiet. On my laptop it works just fine with no problem at all. But on my PC its quiet and i cant even get into the Microphone boost menu.
My mate on skype can't hear me talking either, i have to shout in it.
So i wondered if my drivers were the cause of this problem. So i updated them and nothing changed.
I think my soundcard is called VIA P4M890 im not that into Computers so i dont know if this is right. The driver i downloaded had some software called High Definition Audio Deck to manage my soundsettings but these doesnt seem to do anything (When i try to boost my microphone).

My earlier headset was a USB and this new one is with JACK plugs does that make a difference.

I Apologies for my bad English, and i hope someone can help me with my problem.

I think i've placed this topic in the wrong forum /Sorry

Welcome to TSF
Have you checked your Sound and multimedia setting in control Panel?
Go to Control panel to sound and multimedia to audio tab.
Click the sound recording volume button and try increasing the volume as required.

I recently purchased the G230 Logitech Gaming Headset. It is a single wired headset that splits into to jack inputs: the microphone and speaker. The speakers work fine and I can hear everything through the headset. However, my mic is not registering and the only recording device functioning is the built in laptop mic on my Alienware M15X.

I have tried adjusting default mics,

Updating drivers,

Rolling back drivers,

Uninstalling and re-installing drivers,

I am running out of ideas. So please help! Here are my specs,

Processor: Intel Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50Gz

Memory (RAM): 16.0GB

System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor / WINDOWS 10

Sound: Sound Blaster Recon 3Di by Creative Technology Ltd.

For the past two days, I've been struggling to record commentary for a YouTube video I am making. My Headset works everywhere else just fine, but if I plug it in into my laptop it creates static and so does every other mic. I called HP, and they said there was nothing wrong with the jack since I could hear everything just fine. Sometimes the static is in the files themselves but other times it's just through my headsets. I have no clue what to do. I've looked at every single tutorial thing and tinkered with every little thing. The problem was solved yesterday then I tried to record today and RIP.
I checked, and it says all my drivers are updated.
The headset came with a cable that splits the audio, and I'm thinking of splitting it then splitting it back into the laptop. I really have no clue what else to do.

Thank you in advance.

Ok, I just got a headset for my PC, which was probably a bad move since the headphone quality is crap on my headset but the microphone is excellent. Now.. I was just wondering how I can plug in the USB headset in without it stealing the outgoing audio? I'll include screens of my properties of my audio since everyones is different.

Note: I have the built in audio setup from the ASUS P4C800

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I was just toggling around with it and I figured out how to change it.

lol, didn't take me too long to fiddle around with it to get it to work, I'll just leave it like this and not touch it now.

Hello I'm Brad, brand new to the Tech Guy forums. :>

I'm having a problem with my GameCom Plantronics microphone that is attached to the headset. My computer seems to only sometimes recognize that the microphone is on, and when it does recognize the mic, I get major white noise when i talk in programs like Ventrilo.

My sound card drivers are all up to date and am using High definition audio device sound card.

I don't think it matters that much but for those who want to know I also have a ATI radeon HD 4800 Series video card and am running a Intel Quad Core 2.40Ghz processor.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
