Acer notebook performance dramaticly reduced recently

Q: Acer notebook performance dramaticly reduced recently

Hi Team
Ive an older notebook that i still use when needed, but recently it has become  increasingly slower and slower and very temperamental. By this it can take a load of time to load up a page, or any simple task can just hang, to the point i will go start making a coffee! It just seems to some days really struggle to do anything.Whilst not the fastest notebook it has saved my bacon on a few ocassions, i would like to keep it as a spare but dont know why its all of a sudden having issues.
The notebook is a Operating System is a Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit SP2 running an Intel Celeron M @ 1.86GHz Conroe-L 65nm Technology, its RAM consists of  1.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz (4-4-4-12), the Motherboard is a Acer Volvi2 (U2E1) and the Hard Drives is a 75GB Hitachi HTS542580K9SA00 (SATA).
The hard drive has been partitioned by the previous owner i assume, as i certainly didn’t do it. It looks like the following
Partition 1
Partition ID         Disk #0, Partition #1
                Disk Letter          C:
                File System         NTFS
                Volume Serial Number  F0208558
                Size        32.4 GB
                Used Space        30.6 GB (95%)
                Free Space          1.83 GB (5%)
Partition 2
Partition ID         Disk #0, Partition #2
                Disk Letter          D:
                File System         NTFS
                Volume Serial Number  E02E1CB7
                Size        32.4 GB
                Used Space        7.79 GB (25%)
                Free Space          24.6 GB (75%)
I think half the issue is that the 1st partition is getting full and that is possibly causing issues, Are my problems based soley on the first partition getting full or are there other things i need to look at. I appreciate that she is an older notebook, BUT it works! Which is a stack load more than i can say for my newer version!!!
Thanks for any ideas,

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Yes, low free space on the C drive is a problem here. Experts recommends at lease 15% free space in the OS partition for proper system operation. Other than the free space issue, there might be additional problems in your system such as malwares, failing or old aging hard dive etc. Please try the below steps.
Transfer all the data that can be moved from C to D partition. Free up maximum space as you can.
Download and run TFC to clean all kind of temp files.
 Uninstall unused applications.
Open Control Panel --> Programs and uninstall all the software which you never used. They only help to eat hard drive space and slowing down Windows by adding unnecessary services.
To detect and uninstall bloatwares pre-loaded by laptop manufacturer, you can use the free program PC Decrapifier.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials as the antivirus solution.
Most of the third party AV programs are huge resource hogs and known to slow down  systems. Microsoft's own AV program MSE requires very low system resources and works very well with Windows. I highly recommends uninstalling your current antivirus completely and use MSE instead.
Run a full scan of the system with it once the installation and database updating is complete.
 Upgrade system RAM.
Windows Vista requires 2 GB RAM or more for smooth operation. Please add another compatible module to your system and it will greatly help in improving system performance.

I've had a lot of reduced performance with my system lately, in addition to a lot of windows error messages for some reason. I just un-installed a handful of anti-spyware/malware apps because I had way too many.
Now I'm left with HJT, MalwareBytes (w/ active protection), TuneUp2009, ZoneAlarm, & Spyware Blaster
Is this sufficient protection?
Applications load up much slower and the start is lagged.
Otherwise I haven't had too many issues, a couple crashes few and far between.
Any ideas?

Hello guys. Recently I've bought I PowerColor ATI HD 6790 1 GB DDR5 video card. My old one was the 4670 version, though it was from Gigabyte. And oddly enough, my performance seems to have been reduced.

This is my current setup

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+
PowerColor Ati HD 6790 1GB DDR5
Lc-Power LC 420H-12
Western Digital 500gb Sata2 7200 Rpm 32mb Buffer

What could be causing this and what would be the solution?

It takes about ~4 mintues to boot this laptop, inexplicable CPU usage. Though the usage isn't consistently bad. Today I experienced such taxed resource usage, that simply moving the cursor across the screen had a choppy latent effect. I'd move the cursor, and about 1-2 seconds later, it would move it's position on the screen. I have ran Ad-aware, and Spybot, and they removed only tracking cookies. Trendmicro housecall came up with nothing. Here is the HJT log:

Does not sound like malware but let's take a perfunctory look

1. Download this file using either of these links

2. Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log & a fresh HJT log in your next reply

Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Cry Performance reduced after reinstalling WinXP pro

I have just reinstalled my system (XP Pro) and updated it online to SP2. Authenticated updated and all. I haven't changed any hardware and in fact I reinstalled less software than before.
Since reinstallation and updating, I've noticed considerable deterioration on system performance, reflected e.g. on scroll speed (eg in Firefox and in Word & Excel. For firefox I've checked "smooth scrolling" it's off. Especially Word used to be up to 1page/sec while scrolling with arrow keys, now is down to 5-6 sec/page. Also: normally Word shows the page numbers (lower left corner) changing as you scroll - not anymore in my case. Page numbers remain change only after scrolling stops. Other example is when I move windows on the screen, movement is not spooth but rather jerky.
Any ideas?
My 2.66GHz machine is clean according to avast antivirus, spybot, adaware & adwatch, Netscape's own spyware scanner. Reg mechanic finds no problems. HD (40GB) is error free and cleaned-up and defragmented. Smooth scrolling options are off.
Thanks to anyone who could help.

Help with MS Office is another forum, so I can't hep you with Word settings.
As far as your general slowness issue: If it's slower now than it was before the re-install, then you did something different this time than you did previously. Try and think what that might be. I could sit here and guess all week and we might never stumble across it, there's just too many things that could affect performance.

Today I've noticed a significant reduction in my computers performance. I installed a fresh copy of spy sweeper and it came up with 2 pieces of malware

Mal/Generic A
Mal/Keygen C

unfortunately it keeps jamming up so it wont erase them. Any help scanning the system would be much appreciated.

Windows 7 Home Edition, standard HP desktop.

Btw I did install a video card upgrade today, dont know if that could have potentially effected things, but it has been runnning worse since.. went from 256mb integrated to 1gig ATI Sapphire HD4670..

A:reduced performance and possible Malware

Spy sweeper has at last work and cleared the Malware it has found, but the fact that there is any on here worry's me. None should exist.

I would really appreciate help doing thorough malware and virus scans to help optimize performance.

I use my work PC mainly for developing an application in VB.NET using Visual Studio standard 2008. Up until a couple of weeks ago the system has run perfectly but during the last wee while ive noticed it takes ages to boot. And running even more than one or two applications cripples the machine to the point where your waiting around for 60seconds + for outlook to load.

Hello ford66,

I'm not seeing anything malicious in this log and the error messages you posted are related to your Operating system and Wireless Networking Card.

There are however, a few entries we can fix in the log.

From Normal Mode:

Open HijackThis and click on 'Do a System Scan Only'. Check the following entries if they exist (make sure you do not miss any)

I am reasonably computer-literate, at least to the point of maintaining an efficient and virus free computer to operate at top performance. Inexplicably, my gaming performance on applications which normally achieve steady frames in the 40's and 50's range are completely stuttering around 2-3. My computer is very well maintained, with a commit charge of 123, regularly defragged, registry cleaned, scanned for viruses, etc. I thought that it might be a case of conflicting drivers, and as such updated all of them, with the exception of my BIOS (was going to try but am out of floppy disks). The only other thing that I can think of besides a BIOS conflict is that in the add/remove programs list is a Client Hack 1.9.2d that cannot be removed, nor is it recognized when I do deep scans with kaspersky or bitdefender. it seems unlikely to me that one virus is drastically reducing my gaming performance, its possible that a particular setting on my computer is wrong, but I checked everything I know (including BIOS AGP aperture settings, etc). Please, any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated, as this has been driving me mad as I've been trying to remedy this on my own for the past few days.

Week ago I bought new SSD drive. (OCZ Agility 3, 2.15 firmware)
I made fresh install of OS, newest drivers etc.
SSD and my system was working very well but I was disapointed to my SSD-benchmark results. Well I tried to increase performance by updating my motherboard bios. Bios update succeed but it didnt really increase performance of my ssd, new bios reduced writing performance notable. (MOBO = Asus m4a87td/usb, bios v.2001) AHCI is on.

What with that 103424? Shouldnt it be 1024? Previous score over 400 points, now just 300. (disappeared in picture)

Also noticed another problem. I can't boot my comp if I have external drive plugged in.
I just can't change my 1st device boot to agility drive in bios because it's not in the list of boot devices. Well I unplug external drive and its working. Also thought that bios update would fix it but it didnt.

A:SSD Performance reduced after BIOS update.

Your numbers are lower than most, but I don't know if it would be noticed in real life as opposed to a benchmark.

I think that 103424 is a reference to alignment. If it's evenly divisible by 4, it should be OK--and it is.

Not sure about the BIOS/external drive issue. Was the external connected when you did the clean install to the SSD?

One way or another, I'd make sure all boot files were on the SSD and that it appeared in the BIOS and was bootable, regardless of whether the external was plugged in.

When using 90w adapter with Lenovo W510 the performance is reduced even when the system shows low power consumption (40W).  if you switch to battery - strangely, the performance improves. It is understandable that the performance will be limited (reduced CPU and GPU clock speed) under 90w power supply (to protect the adapter) but it shouldn't be limited immediately.  if I watch a video it doesn't really work with the 90w travel adapter (very very slow) - then I take the power cord out and WOW everything works fine... The bios should be fixed so that the clock limit will kick in only when the power consumption goes up.  otherwise, when you travel with this expensive machine you have to either carry the super heav y 135w adapter or get a performance of a net book.... Does anyone know about a fix?

This problem has me completely baffeled. I'm not even sure if this is the right forum to be posting in. (If you can suggest a forum better related to topic please do).

Recently I noticed my whole system being slower and more sluggish. Especially playing games. I checked my windows experience index and it had changed from 6.5 to 2.9.

The only scores in the list that have changed signifigantly are my cpu (now at 2.3) and my memory access(2.9).

This happend to me once before about 6 months ago. In the end I updated my dell bios from a10 to a11 and my score went up to 6.5 and my performance was percieveably improved.

Now I dont understand why (what seems like the same problem) has happened again.

I'd be very grateful if somebody could help me figure out why my system has suddenly slowed down so drastically.

A:CPU and memory performance suddenly drastically reduced

Take a look at Task Manager when it is running slow. Look at processes to see what is taking up RAM and CPU cycles.

Does it boot as quickly as before?

I wouldn't expect a BIOS change to improve things.

Look at Resource Monitor to see how much RAM you are using at any particular time.

Have you done any tests of your RAM or hard drive to confirm they are OK?

How confident are you that you have no viruses or malware?

Hello, So I have a HP 15-g020dx Notebook PC. Worked fine for a while now but within the last months months or so the wi fi doesn't work as before. Let me explain: My modem/router are hooked up in my dining room. My bedroom and living room are not very far away... at all. Small Apt. My laptop would get a weaker, but fair connection from either my bedroom or laptop before without no problem, heck even at the house next door. NOW, it won't receive a single wifi bar signal past the entrance of my bedroom or my living room. And even when it's right next to the wireless BELKING router I have, it only has two or three 'wifi bars' out of four.  I believe it could have been due to upgrading to windows 10??? from windows 8?? I'd like to keep windows 10 but if it's going to continue to be a problem i'll prob reinstall 8. Anyways here is some more information on why I know it's the laptop and not the router/modem and what I have done so far: Phones, Tablets, and other Laptops have no problem connecting anywhere in the apt to the connection with a strong signal just as before.  I have tried all sorts of things with my router. I even resetted it completely. I tried to update the wifi adapter driver but it wouldn't do it automatically bc it supposely had the newest one. I ended up downloading it and installing the windows 10 driver for my wi fi adapter anyways. (that may have helped a tiny bit along with completely r... Read more

So, I'm at school and I receive a text from my mother stating that she is receiving porn popups and that google results are sending her off to random pages. I should also note that ComboFix results in a BSOD everytime.

While you may see ComboFix being used quite often, and possibly you have used the tool yourself without incident, the tool should not be run unsupervised (as stated in the Disclaimer that is first displayed by ComboFix when you run the tool)

Going forward, I highly recommend you heed such instructions. As explained in Post 2 of our pre-posting topic...

Why we don't ask you to run ComboFix from the onset

ComboFix is a very powerful tool which when improperly used may render your machine to a doorstop.

We first need to verify if there's any rootkits present and how they could affect our tools. DDS & GMER are preliminary scans. We use their logs to map our strategy for attack.

With these logs we can determine the infections present & decide whether to deploy ComboFix.

That being said, I'll need a log from another tool. Again, it's important you follow these instructions as given.

Please download aswMBR.exe and save it to your desktop.

Double click aswMBR.exe to start the tool. At this time, select No when prompted to download the Avast database.
Click Scan
Upon completion of the scan, click Save log and save it to your desktop, and post that log in your next reply for review. Note - do NOT attempt any Fix yet.

i wonder if someone can give me a hint why my WIN7 (32Bit) on my Netbook feels so weird the last week. We went on vacation a week ago, so I made sure my Netbook was running fine with WIN7 and made sure I had all the stuff installed I needed on vacation when I got Internet.

Now a couple of days ago my WIN7 starts to act up, has high CPU load in Deferred Procedure Calls, with issues that weren't there before I went on vacation. Its lagging all the time, cursor stucks etc. and also in Video & Sound apps. like videoplayer etc. but all these things worked without issues before I was on vacation. Why act up now ?

I think there was one WIN Update I made when I was here, dont remember what it was but probably just the usual security update or whatever, nothing out of the ordinary. Was there an issue with a recent update or what can it be ?

I wouldnt be as surprised about all this if the issue would have been already when I was home, but it wasn't. I already checked with my AV (Avast), there is no virus etc. that I can find.

I appreciate any tip that helps me find out what that issue is or could be. Maybe someone recently experienced something like that himself. One thing I do know is that since I installed WIN7 on my Netbook, and thats some time now, nothing like this ever happend before.

Thanks in advance.

Hey guys... I wasn't sure were to post this issue as I'm not sure if it's a virus/malware issue. First I'd like to thank everyone for taking the opportunity to read this. I've been reading BC as a Guest for many months now, and finally decided I need some expertise on the problem I've been experiencing lately. Before I go anywhere further, I want to mention that I've tried every possible basic maneuver possible, whether it is using SDFix to a /sfc scannow ... to even a reformat. I have an AMD Athlon 64 Machine on an Asus k8v with 2gbs of ram, running on XP Home with two harddrives. Video card is Radeon X700 256mb with dual monitors.

I've recently received lots of cpu usage and really bad lag on my computer, checking Task Manager, all I can find using lots of CPU usage is the System Idle Process, but if I open Photoshop it uses about 99 CPU usage... I first thought this could be malware, such as that famous Vundo or whatever its called, and tried using Spybot/Hijack/Adaware/AVG, and even Malwarebytes.. everything you can possibly name to search for this virus/malware hidden on my PC, but my PC kept coming clean. At first my PC was really fast, I was able to run multiple tasks without lag, and recently playing MP3s on my PC, and even loading YouTube videos, it experiences major lag and skipping, including the sound! So I had no option left but to perform a reformat, I backed everything important to my secondary D:\ drive and start... Read more

Hello and Welcome to Bleeping Computer! I am glad that you chose Bleeping Computer as your source for help. Please, tell me why that you used SDFix?IMO, It should be used only if you are sure of what the threat is. SDFix only removes certain types of malware.Clean out all temporary files using CCleaner -- worth getting. Simply click Analyze at the bottom left, then Run Cleaner on the bottom right. Temporary files, especially in Photoshop, can slow down the hard disk because the program must load pre-organized cache. Check for disk errors by running CHKDSK in Safe Mode or from the Recovery Console. In Check Disk box, select Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors then click "Start" and have it repair anything it finds. When using your hard drive, your hard drive can develop bad sectors that may slow down the harddisk's performance and make data writing difficult. Check Disk searches thehard drive and checks integrity of a file system by reading system errors, and badsectors. When encountering non-consistent file system data,it performs necessary actions to repair file-system data.Disable the Windows Indexing Service. The indexing service catalogs files on your computer by building and updating the Index catalog to enable faster file searches. Dear TSG & co.

I've been working on a huge doc in word (w/images)... Since it has grown (78 pages = 14'600kb), problems.

1) Track-changes was activated by default; seeing this as a potential source of problems, I deactivated in word. However, evertime I save and then open doc on another pc, the track changes reappear & doc is increased to 100+ pages of text & images. I believe this has blocked my pc (ASUS pro5di, windows 7, Office 2010) and corrupted or lost data.

Since starting with this doc, I realized that every time I create a new word doc, it opens as a very narrow page on the left side of the screen. It isn't the zoom: zoom was at 100% and when I increased it, I had to increase to over 200% to read any text.

Any ideas?

I bought HP Probook 440 G4 yesterday. I realized that the notebook is extremely loud. After 5 minutes later turning on the computer, fan noise starts. I can understand the fan noise when high CPU performance is required however this happens even when CPU is 5-10% loaded. Sometimes it lasts really long time, but sometimes I can hear the sound just for couple of seconds then it is gone. Is this the normal working condition for HP notebooks? What is the normal noise level for this computer?

Hello, my new Acer Aspire Notebook has my IE homepage stuck to global.acer.com and I can't change it through any of the IE options (Use Blank, Use Current, or typing it in manually - I'm trying to set it to Google).

I went to this page to solve the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q320159 (Home page setting changes unexpectedly, or you cannot change your home page setting).

As per Microsoft's instructions, I tried changing the "Start Page" value in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main," but I got the following error: "Cannot edit Start Page: Error writing the value's new contents." There was no "Default_Page_URL" entry in there.

I was able to change the "Default_Page_URL" value to "Google.com" under "HKEY_ LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" and the "Start Page" value in there was already set to "http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd={SUB_PRD}&clcid={SUB_CLSID}&pver={SUB_PVER}&ar=home"

The "Default_Page_URL" and "Start Page" entries don't exist in the "HKEY_USERS\Default\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" key.

Lastly, the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel" subkey doesn't exist either.

I would appreciate any help you could give me, thanks!

Intel core i5-3210m 2.5ghz with turbo boost to 3.2ghz
Nvidia gforce gt 640m

It is a nice laptop. I occasionally play world of Warcraft on it when at a friends house and it usually doesn't have too many problems. I just reinstalled windows on a new Samsugn EVO 840 500GB SSD this month and computer properties shows 125 of 465GB free. I checked with windirstat and it shows I'm only using 169GB - which makes sense, I only have programs and a few games, files are on my HDDs. I should have 296GB free.
I looked at RevoUninstaller, and things like Toolwiz Timefreeze show as 433GB, Shadowgrounds Demo (like 500MB) is using 75GB, punkbuster 34GB like battlefield 3.
I uninstalled timefreeze, and revo wanted to be deleted like 450GB of files on my other HDD, for some reason it taught those where associated with time freeze.O_o I Uninstalled the Shadowgrounds demo, and my free disk space didn't change.
Now I dont think those things are ACTUALLY using that much space, it's just showing that in revo and in windows explorer.
I tried chkdsk /f, which is supposed to fix NTFS corruption. I tied uninstalling some of the programs that said they where hundreds of 75GB, and it didnt change what my computer is showing for free disk space.
So what is going on and how do I fix this?

4)80 GB hard drive

My friends are telling me that this setup should run HL 2 pretty well along with any mods. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,

One of my friend asking me about would it be okay to put 16GB ram on HP DV6-6168tx notebook. I have no experience on how will it get along with the performance, so I need your opinions.

1) would it effect on performance of the notebook? I mean would adding that much of huge ram on DV6 will slow it down rather than giving more performance?

2) would it be unstable adding 16GB ram when running multiple vmware?

note :-
* notebook has I7 second gen proc, HD 6770M, 8GB 1333 DDR3 ram, intel HM65 or 67 chipset. cant remember. hp has mentioned it supports 16GB.

* he says that he needs this amount on purpose of running multiple virtual machines and for programming.

thank you. any suggestions welcome

EDIT:thanks you for moving to right thread. I thought it will be somthing like general question. sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello. I bought a HP Notebook 15-af126no laptop a couple months back. Simply put, the whole machine is just dreadfully bad. I think there's something wrong with Win10 optimization of the hardware, because the desktop usage is just awful. In gaming and 3D use there is no problem, in fact it works surprisingly good! However Internet browsers (Edge, FF, Chrome... I've tried 'em all) lag so bad, that it's just impossible to do anything with them. There is constant delay in input text and scrolling works just as bad. This happens in Office enviroment also, as text input in Word for example lags contantly 1-2 seconds at a time. HDD use is at 90%+ at all times and the fan keeps on spinning. I've contacted the HP support a couple of time to no avail, and the retailer won't cancel the sale, as it is "manufacturers responsibility". And yes, I have tried restoring the factory settings and drivers are all up to date, but still... I have also ran the diagnostics recommended by the support, but there is no error or malfuntion to be found. I think I have wasted several hundred euros on pure trash and it makes me so mad. Any help? Also.. Retailer told me, that there are two memory slots so that the original 8Gb of RAM can be expanded, but I can't even find the one module in place. This really is a problem, as the 2D use of the display adapter cannibalises 1Gb of system memory?! Is there any way to expand the factory installed memory? Thanks in advance!

Hello - I have recently acquired a new Dell Latitude D610 Notebook and I’m convinced I have a performance or configuration problem. The Notebook has an Intel Pentium processor 1.6GHZ and 760mb of RAM and is running Windows XP Professional SP2.

This specification is approximately twice that of my previous desktop PC but the Notebook is slower. The problem manifests itself unevenly with the main problems being:-

1. Windows Explorer - I frequently have to wait up to two minutes for Windows Explorer to provide a folder listing or for access to a specific folder. I just get the hourglass displayed on screen. However sometimes there is no delay.

2. In Outlook I frequently get longish delays when trying to save attachments to disk – again I simply get the hourglass. As with Explorer sometimes there is no delay.

I thought initially that the problem may be related to my Macafee AV software but I temporarily disabled this and it made no difference.

I have optimised the system to be ‘best performance’ as opposed to ‘best appearance’ in Control Panel/System/Advanced and my Appearance is set to Windows Classic under Control Panel/Display.

Any ideas as to what might be causing the problem would be greatly appreciated. Maybe there are diagnostic tools available that can help me get to the root of the problem.

Many thanks

Steve W.

Hello, my gaming laptop has been experiencing some issues recently. Notably a very sudden decrease in performance, even simple tasks such as browsing and watching videos have become very choppy. Playing any of my games is also nigh impossible considering that they now perform so badly (Whereas they worked perfectly before). I have tried all the performance troubleshooting steps, and nothing has worked. Drivers didn't help, (Intel, Nvidea, Windows, Hp, tried them all) and my antivirus never detected anything malicious inside my system. To be sure, i even did a system restore to a point where nothing was wrong at all. So I am convinced that it is a hardware issue, exactly which part I have no clue. If I had to guess, it would be the graphics processor. My warrenty has run out for this device, but I would be willing to pay to get this computer up and running like normal again. So what should i do?

Bought this computer around 6 months ago, as a relatively cheap replacement, and it is by far the slowest and worst performing laptop I have ever used. Using the internet would be quicker to go to an internet cafe and work there! Hi HP, I have been having this issue since I bought this Pavilion series laptop. Its been a year and I didn't report this issue earlier as I thought it was just a small lag but it has aggravated. My laptop is running quite slowly as compared to other PCs. Whenever I open a new task, or search something in Cortana, open a new program, or even do a right-click for a refresh it keeps it takes around 10-15 seconds to respond on average. Even tasks which have no overhead like creating a new folder are also quite slow with a similar waiting time period of 10 seconds. It has become frustrating. I am not a hardware engineer but this doesn't seem to be a hardware problem. I have noticed that its performance dropped whenever the Nvidia GeForce Drivers and ExperienceService upgraded. Plus nowadays it has started to become hot too. I would also like to point out that when my notebook upgraded Windows from 8.1 to 10 its performance became better till the time Nvidia drivers got upgraded and gained Windows 10 support.During the period from Windows upgrade to Nvidia upgrade all the functions ran smoothly plus the responce time was great. It would be great if you could help resolve this issue as I am sure many other users would have been experiencing the same. Regards Pritish Sehzpaul
