I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A:thinkpad l440 cpu upgrade?

If you do it yourself it will certainly be cheaper, but the CPU is not considered customer-replaceable, so it may affect your warranty status. If you can do the replacement in a professional manner, so it doesn't look worked on, probably nobody will complain, as long as you keep the old part and replace it back before getting service. The FRU of the i7-4600m is 04X4049. You do not want to get one marked "ES" (engineering sample). The ES parts may not be final versions

I wish to obtain definitive information about the internal composition of the trackpad for the L440 laptop given my allergy to wool felt. Does the trackpad use any felt cushioning or gaskets? I recently noticed what appears to be small particles of lint around the crevices of the trackpad, but before cleaning the periphery of the pad I wish to be certain that these particles are not from underlying felt material. I would hope to obtain an answer directly from Lenovo. Thank you.

Confirmed having happened to five separate devices now, so this is not a random glitch. Installing KB4467691 (Windows Security Update) will cause the laptop to hang at the "Lenovo" splash screen at startup. It will have the standard "press enter to interrupt boot" message, but will not respond. SOLUTION: Hit enter at startup before the boot hangs, to access the BIOS. Under Security, disable SecureBoot. Windows should now launch successfully. It's possible that you can then remove KB4467691 and re-enable SecureBoot again, but I have not yet been able to confirm this.

Hi AllI recently acquired an A22m in very nice shape for next to nothing, and am currently doing a fresh install of Windows 2000. I went onto Lenovo's support page and after selecting Laptop on the first category, the sub-category for which Thinkpad series it is part of doesn't have a selection for "Thinkpad A Series", but seems to have every other series listed. I went on the support chat and was told to call technical support and once I did that, was told by technical support to search their forum. Nothing showed up, and I thought I should post here instead. Will the page for the A series be put back up? I really want to get this laptop back up and running.  Thanks,Luke

Congrats for your purchase, that's a nice fine machine you got there

Unfortunately I don't think you may find the drivers in the official Lenovo site soon, the site is being re-structured and probably many other older Thinkpads won't be there anymore.

In your case I would suggest to check this page for more details about your A22m: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:A22m, then try to identify the correct components and google them to find the corresponding drivers.

It survived all upgrades from Win7->Win8.1->Win10 all versions up to 1809 without damage.

To get drivers you can go to support site.  See below.  You can also download Lenovo Vantage from MS Store.  It will automatically look for drivers for you.  You can choose what to/what not to install.  For hot key specifically you will need hotkey drivers which are at the below site.

Hi Gnite,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understand that you are facing the issue with Bluetooth on your ThinkPad X200.

Uninstall all the Bluetooth drivers which you have installed in your system, after uninstalling restart the system and download ThinkVantage system update utility from Lenovo support site and install it.

After installation run the application so that it will search all the required drivers and application for your system.

Hope this helps!

I had to do a clean reload of the system using my Recovery Disc set that I got when I bought this laptop new. It took multiple attempts but the system finally reloaded after 4-5 attempts and Windows 7 updates went well with 6-7 series before being fully updated. My comcern now is the drivers. As Windows 7 support is ending soon and this laptop isn't Windows 10 compatable, at least it wasn't when Wndows 10 was released I'm scrambling to make sure everything is up to date, especially drivers now that the recovery is done. When I go online and entre my model and serial number it fails repeatedly to scan for driver updates. Am I doing something wrong?  The laptop has been, and still is, very relible and is for my personal use. I have no need for a new laptop and mostly use it when I'm traveling. What is the best course to follow to make sure it's fully up to date driver wise? Is there a newer tool I should be using or just download all the support page drivers for the W520. The only things that aren't stock about this system is the added memory and SSD that I added shortly after buying the laptop.

Hi There,Anyone is finding an epic quest to find the T410 drivers on the support website? The laptop had to be reinstalled from scatch and I do not have the original CD. Machine type (2537-DY9) and serial number are not recognised by the database... According to Lenovo the T410 does not exist... I managed to find few of them as trial and error but it seems I am still truggling with chipset and other not identified peripherals (see attachment)... all this should be much easier!! Can anybody help?Thanks! Cris70few drivers missing

A:W520 ThinkPad Updating Drivers

Support page for W520 lists antique drivers. The device does work fine with vanilla install of Windows 10 (1803,1903,1909 etc) and drivers from Windows Update. The only thing that was missing was driver for SD card reader, but the one from W530 works fine. You lose some Windows 7 niceties like Lenovo Power Manager etc though, but it works well enough w/o them. P.S. Fresh install of Windows 10 is possible using the old Windows 7 license code. It's not supposed to work anymore, but it does. I'd suggest doing that, rather than in-place upgrade of Windows 7.

Hi
Im assuming since you have a think pad that the keyboard and mouse are USB, the interlink remote is also usb?

Have you upgraded the MS drivers, Hae you tried One attached by itself to see if it stops, then another, then the last.
