I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Is ist possible to connect two external displays over microHDMI. I know, normally you couldn't use them as extended displays because there's only one signal. BUT on the product page they claim, that it has a DisplayPort ("combo with HDMI?") and microHDMI. In my opinion it looks like there are somehow two output signals over the hdmi port, or does anybody know what this exactly mean?

A:Yoga 710-14IKB two external displays over microHDMI?

The product page is incorrect. The 710-14IKB has one micro-HDMI for one display. If you want a second display you'll need a USB display adapter.

Hello!I am trying to find out if DisplayPort is supported on the following two models: - Yoga 710-14IKB (80V4003LMX)- Yoga 900S-12ISK (80ML000RMX) I need to drive UHD TVs (4K at 60fps) and various high resolution displays using DisplayPort (HDMI 1.4 only supports 4K at low refresh rates).  It seems to be difficult find out looking through the documentation provided by Lenovo. I have come across some info though: Yoga 710-14IKB:The documentation on  http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/yoga/700-series/yoga-710-14/#80V4000GUS under "Ports" states that: "Micro HDMI?""DisplayPort? (combo with HDMI?)" This indeed seems to indicate that DisplayPort is supported, but I cannot find any info on how this works. - Is DisplayPort supported by the Yoga 710?- If so, what kind of adapter is needed, and where can this be found? Yoga 900S-12ISK:This machine has an USB-C "USB 3.0 port with Video-out". I have found a Lenovo USB-C to HDMI Adaptor-NA (GX90K37871):    https://www.cnet.com/products/lenovo-usb-c-to-hdmi-adapter-external-video-adapter/specs/but so far I have not seen any USB-C to DisplayPort adapter from Lenovo. When an USB-C port has video capabilities, it is usually DisplayPort available (I have seen reviews of Yoga 900S that this actually is the case for the Yoga 900S. - Is DisplayPort supported by the Yoga 900s?- If so, what kind of adapter is needed, and where can this be found?&n... Hello, I am currently thinking about buying a 4k monitor or ultra-wide external display.Does anyone know which kind of resolution the Lenovo Yoga 700 with the 940M GPU supports? I would be interested in 4k or 3440 x 1440 or 2560 x 1080, but I don't know whether these resolutions are supported and if so at which hertz rate. I could not find any information on the Lenovo support page regarding this matter. Not even which HDMI type the notebook has... Any information would be useful. Thank you!Cheers,Mark

Hi all, My laptop is a Yoga 510-14ISK, which has an Intel HD Graphics 520 (graphics unit integrated with the Skylake processor) and an AMD Radeon R5 M330 as the PCI-E card. My issue is supporting the full resolution of my external monitor, a BenQ FP241W, which has a native resolution of 1920x1200. The max resolution offered by any of the tools (Windows, Intel and AMD) is 1920x1080. This leaves black bars on the top and bottom of the monitor, which is not only wasted space, but is contributing to the burn-in of my eight-year-old-but-still-working-as-new monitor. I originally connected the laptop via a Thinkpad USB 3.0 Ultra Dock, which uses USB-C from the laptop and HDMI to the monitor. I discovered, however, that the Intel driver would not detect the monitor this way, or at least it wouldn't list it. The monitor is now plugged directly to the laptop via HDMI. I assume this is a driver issue, since these modern graphics cards should easily support 1920x1200. If it is, it isn't trivial to solve; I spent hours yesterday trying various things:Exploring the display configurations in Windows 10 (64 bit), the Intel Graphics Control Panel (IGCP), and the Radeon Settings tool. Strangely enough, the latter does not show a ?Display? category, which, judging from online screenshots, normally should be there (see attached screenshot). The max I ever get listed is 1920x1080. Attempting to enter a custom resolution of 1920x1200 at 60p in the IGCP gives an error, ?T... Read more

I have the exact same equipment at home and at work and yet the resolution on my second monitor at work will not go to the 3840 x 2160 that I have at home. Both locations have:1. X1 Yoga (first gen, model number 20FQ002YUS) -- It's the same laptop that I take between home and work2. ThinkPad OneLink+ Dock (model number DU9047S1)3. Two (2) Asus monitors (model number PB287Q) that go to 3840 x 2160 max resolution, connected to the OneLink+ Dock via DiplayPort cables I've been running this configuation with NO PROBLEM at home for the past 9 months.  So I recently purchased a new OneLink+ Dock and two new monitors for my work office and while one monitor will go to 3840 x 2160, the other will not go above 1920 x 1080, UNLESS, I use a mini DisplayPort cable from the second monitor directly into the X1 Yoga (bypassing the OneLink+ Dock) HERE'S WHAT'S BAFFLING: I assumed it was the dock and so I brought the one from home to work and found I had the SAME problem, suggesting it was the second monitor.   But I exchanged the second monitor for a new one and still have the same problem.  The docks are running the most current firmware. I'll send a gift card to your favorite coffee house if you can solve this mystery.  Thanks!

Is it possible to ad a second SSD to a Yoga 710-14IKB Laptop (ideapad) - Type 80V4 - Model 80V4006KMX?

A:Yoga 710-14IKB second SSD

Hi MichaelG4,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

There is only one port available to accommodate storage on this model.
Storage specification: M.2 slot,  2.5-inch, NGFF, 128 GB / 256 GB, SATA II/SATA III (Lenovo YOGA 710-14ISK/Lenovo YOGA 710-14IKB) (page 6 on the hardware manual)

On this model, an external USB SSD storage drive can be the most practical and useful tool for added files which is would also allow transferability to different work PC.

Hope this help answer your query.

Hello, I came here to ask Lenovo Staff for any feedback. Week ago I've bought Yoga 710. After few days of use its front left corner went up, it became unstable on flat surface. Pads aren't the problem and everything is fine if notebook is closed. I left it open with some book to keep it flat over night to see if it helps, it did but only for a while. I've search through this forum if anyone had such issue and Lenovo Support members claimed several times that it should be returned as this is covered by warranty. Sides are stiff and solid but the whole front is pretty much flexible. I could flex it myself but this can damage internal parts which I'd like to avoid. So I took pictures, contacted local Lenovo Support (Poland) about it. Surprisingly they've refused to help by claiming that this is "cosmetic defect". I've asked twice, told them about statements here and I don't blame them, but there's clearly some misunderstanding. Here's the picture of how it looks like. It would be great if someone could clarify why I can't receive warranty service while I read here others did.  I still have week to return it to store but this model (with Kaby Lake) isn't available anymore so they can't replace it for me and yet it's not their fault. I'd like to keep it, stay fair and have my issue resolved. Best Regards, Simon. o/

Hello.I purchased this lenovo laptop about 8 months ago. Over the last 4 or so months i have been having a persistent issue of screen flickering. The entire screen flickers regardless of what program may be in use. Initially i had thought it was related to either a software (like chrome or flash) and it seemd like everytime i shut those programs the problem would go away. I have updated all drivers and BIOS. Recently i noticed that this problem can be reproduced on pressing or tapping the area above the keybaord close the where the screen hinges are which led me to think this may be a hardware issue. I have not damaged this laptop ever and it has been kept in very good condition. How shall I proceed.   Thanks

Trying to install from latest driver from Lenovo fails with a "No found device" error when starting the install. Trying to install the Synaptic's manually fails as well, and only the default ELAN driver seem to succeed  Any idea what the issue could be ?

Hello, I bought a Yoga 710-14ikb and would like to replace the original SSD 256GB by a larger 500GB one. My notebook is quite new (few weeks) and has several original partitions:1. 260 MB2. 197 GB - Windows 10 C: (NTFS)3. 25 GB - Data D: (NTFS)4. 1 GB - Recovery5. 14.15 GB -Windows Recovery6. 1 GB - OEM Recovery I bought a 500GB SSD to replace the original one.As I like the OKR button feature, I would like to keep this functionality. If needed I can buy a "m.2 to usb" case to clone my old SSD first. Questions are:How is it possible to keep this Novo button function with my new SSD? Can this tool be downloaded from Lenovo site?If not how to partitioning the new SSD in a most senseful way? At this notebook Windows 10 Home is installed. But I am quite skilled with old windows versions (vista and before) and old BIOS functions but have no experience with UEFI and windows 10. Hence, I'm surpriced about all this 3 recovery partitions and how to make paritions with UEFI and keep the OKR function Looking foward to read your answers!Sebastian

Dear all, this should be a little feedback,I'm working with a yoga 710-14ikb and a yoga 720-15ikb. What I really like on my yoga 710 is the 14" Display Panel, the yoga 720-13-ikb has only a 13" Display Panel. But what's really bad on the yoga 720-13ikb is that the memory can't be replaced. So I need to take the choice before I buy if I want 8 or 16GB of Memory. On yoga 720-15ikb I have a slot to switch or change the memory.Personally I don't like a philosphy like on apple that nothing can't be replaced. So I'll wait for the 730-(14)? with a good hope that this will be heard. Also one thing is, that the yoga 720-13ikb does not have dedicated graphic card. Hi everyone! A couple of days ago I took my yoga to work and was using my headphones and since then I cannot get the speakers to work. I can still use my headphones and the sound works just fine. I had a similar issue once before, but with the microphone, not the speakers but managed to fix that myself. I updated the drivers and rebooted my laptop. When I go on playback devices the speakers are active and supposedly working (e.g. when I have music playing in the background it shows it moving on the bars, but I cannot hear anything). I also ran the Windows Audio Troubleshooter which did not help. I also had a system update two days ago, but the speakers were not working prior to that. I doubt that it is a hardware problem, considering that the speakers were working fine just before I plugged my headphones in. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?  Thank you in advance!

Hi,

I was running WinXP Pro, in 22 LCD Widescreen Monitor, in 1600 x 900, words is small and viewing IE is headache.

But if I run any smaller resolution the image and videos etc will get stretch on side, will this spoilt the video card or other hardware in long run?

Anyone knows of any program that fix the stretch image problem while running on less resolution?

Thank you.

A:Lcd Resolution Widescreen

The stretched image won't do any harm to components. It just looks wrong, and can be corrected by setting a resolution using the same ratio as the native resolution of your monitor. Is 1600x900 the native resolution for your monitor? That is, it actually has a screen with 1600x900 pixels. If so, it is 16:9 format. Widescreens can also be 16:10.

If yours is 16:9, a lower resolution using the same ratio, like 1280x800, will enlarge the screen elements and keep them in proportion. Depending on your video hardware, your video driver and monitor .inf setup, you may not have any suitable resolutions available. Do you have the "driver" (.inf file) for your monitor installed? It's usually supplied on a disc with the monitor.

Hello, my name is Daniel Demétrio and this is my first post on this forum. Recently i bought a Lenovo Yoga 710 14IKB. I absolutely love the laptop, and meanwhile i had some problems with the fan noise that i did manage to resolve using de Notebook Fan Control that was recomended on the forum, i still have other problem. My mouse pointer is constantly dissapering and reapearing, or just changes to a low resolution appearence. I've updated all the drivers, i tried all options of the mouse, i've seen a lot of tutorials or solutions, but still i got this problem.I don't think that the problem is related to the mouse or touchpad driver, i think is something related with the graphics card or something related. But i've made all the updates, and i also tried to reverse the updates, but still i it made no difference, i still have the problem.Anyone are having the same problem? Thanks a lot,Daniel Demétrio

Hi, It's my second day with this machine, Lenovo just fixed the fan issue luckily the BIOS released the within a day I purchased the laptop (lucky me). Another minor quirk I am noticing, though.  When on battery, the remaining time in XXHrs XXMins keeps fluctuating.  At a point when the battery is more than 80%, it can show 3hrs 38mins, and within a few min, it can jump to 6hrs 46mins and again drop down to 2hrs 20mins all within a matter of minutes. It looks more like a dynamic value that keeps changing based on the load at that instant.  Anyone else noticed this issue?  Or is there a setting I need to tweak?

I have had this computer for about 6 months. In the last 3 weeks when I open it after sleep mode for a few hours the display flickers violently, blacks out and sometimes freezes. It sometimes does come back when I hold or apply a bit of pressure to the display - i.e. not just touching the display, rather, holding the front and back and lightly applying pressure, such as when you want to change the angle. Sometimes it shows a series of horizontal lines with the flickering and the image fades out. Other times when it recovers the image is clear but there is still a flicker. I sometimes have to close and reopen the screen. This is happening randomly but with increased frequency, at least once or twice daily. Also, I don't know when it happened but recently the camera also stopped working. A few days ago I updated the camera and video drivers and the camera is back but the display still exhibits this behaviour. Today I was trying to record something with the camera and the display froze and gave me this error, which I found completely useless:"Something went wrong. If you need it here's the error code: 0xA00F4271(0xC00D36ED)" Any ideas? I think maybe there is some issue with the physical display but not sure.

Hello, first of all sorry for my bad englisch.Yesterday evening I updated my BIOS from the version 2.0 to the version number 2.04.After the update I had multiple problems with the laptop. The sound didn´t work anymore and the laptop was very slow and sometimes didn´t even react. So I decided to use the "system recovery" on windows to see if it that would help. A few problems were solved by resetting the system but I now have problems with the fan. The volume has increased by alot. I barely could hear the fan before the problems with my laptop started. I also have the fealing that the laptop is slower in generell then it used to be, since the BIOS-Update.I hope somebody can help me. with kind regards

Hey, I have a problem with my sound. first of all, something happed after some kind of update, now the first 5 seconds of the song for example, it does not play, there is this delay. then I cant talk with skype of messenger because no one hears me and there is also a wind sound or something. the next problem is that the sound itself is really poor, when on less than 35 percent i cant hear a thing, i need to volume up and on 100, i wouldnt say it is that much loud. Anyone experienced the same? I only have my laptop for 2 months and I found more drawbacks than pluses...

Hey, my Yoga 710-14IKB is once again missing sound drivers after a windows update. I've navigated to http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/no/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-710-14ikb/downloads and located the latest audio driver for my laptop, which was released 20th of july in 2016. I've then installed the driver that I downloaded, restarted the PC, and still no audio drivers. I mouseover the sound icon in the Windows 10 task bar, and it says "No Audio Output device is installed". I right click this icon, select "playback devices" where I am greeted by the message "No audio devices are installed". I right click the text and ensure that both disconnected and disabled devices are shown, of which there are none. What do I do now? Edit: I've performed the system update scan on the same page as the driver downloads, and the only two drivers that are recommended that I install are "Connect2" and "Camera driver for Chicony - 10".

I was using my computer like normal, when suddenly my bluetooth mouse stopped working. I try clicking on the bluetooth icon on the taskbar the bluetooth icon just dissapeared. When going to settings there is only the "bluetooth & other devices menu" and i try activating my devices through there - but it says bluetooth is turned off, and there doesn't seem to be a button to activate it again.I look through pretty much every settings menu but find nothing.I try googling some fixes (going through, Windows services, device manager etc.) but none of them work and even try to do a system restore of a week back, the bluetooth icon in the taskbar appeared again, although my devices still weren't working and simply hovering over it made it dissapear, again. I later tried downloading & installing the driver from here and it shows "Status: Installation not needed (No device for update present)  I'm not sure what the hell is going on i'd like some help. My computer is barely 5 months old.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

What is the "Windows Device Manager" saying about the bluetooth device ?

Can you check if the bluetooth complete disapear from the list, or if it shows some yellow warning sign when the issue appear.

Please check which bluetooth model do you have installed, on the support site for your model there are two bluetooth drivers:
1) Bluetooth Driver (Liteon, Qualcomm) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Yoga 710-14IKB, Yoga 710-15IKB
2) Intel Bluetooth Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Yoga 710-14IKB, Yoga 710-15IKB

Regards
