Complete Microsoft Access Run-time Error list

Q: Complete Microsoft Access Run-time Error list

Where can I find complete # to definition of Microsoft Access Run-time Error list? I used to have url of that list but I lost it.

Preferred Solution: Complete Microsoft Access Run-time Error list

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi! I have put a "Total Time" field in a form to calculate the difference in minutes from the "Start Time" to the "End Time". I was worried about getting the incorrect time span when the time crossed over midnight. Well, I got that part right, but when I enter times in the same day (1:15pm-1:30pm) it gives me the time difference PLUS 1440 minutes. Please tell me what I need to do to fix this! Thank you!

Hi Ian and welcome

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

Unfortunately i'm not an expert in Microsoft Access 2010, but i've come across a problem with one of my databases that is running on a Windows 7 computer.
The problem is that when the database runs, it has a very very slow response time, yet if I copy it to another Windows 7 or XP computer the response time is fast.
So far I have updated the computer with Windows 7 updates, and modified the registry buffer size to 50000 in the Access Connectivity Engine setting, but the Microsoft Access database is still very slow at loading and accessing the data.
Any help greatly appreciated.

It it likely a local storage conflict...I have had 2 folks let me know that they are not able to create a list at work and it is b/c their settings are such that they don't have local storage. My tech gal said it is similar to cookies but a newer technology.

I wish that I could help but honestly I have no idea how it all works. Basically the info is saved on the user side ...so if you have any programs or network restrictions it may not work on your computer. I think most up to date browsers support local storage.

Based on the site here: http://dev-test.nemikor.com/web-storage/support-test/
It looks like there are very few (out of date browsers) which do not support local storage. If you are up to date that should not be the issue.

I hope that helps...also, when using the shopping list for the first time...give it a few seconds to build the list. Sometimes it can take a couple of seconds. Mine always seems to be a bit slower right after I have done any system updates on my computer."

WHAT a MONTH! My "new", now 4 mo old system had a bad memory stick which caused sooo many problems that I have had to reformat hard drive, reinstall W2KPro, and start all over! Have been on the line with MS tech support almost constantly for the last 22 days. Bummer! BUT... hopefully this system will operate correctly now...
I use a free auction build/submit software called AuctionSubmit for posting eBay auctions. The eBay "categories" need to be updated or it will not post the built auctions. When I try to update I get a ( run-time error 3315: Field categories can't be a zero-length string ) pop-up box. This program did work on the machine before the reinstall just fine. The other thing that has changed is installing Norton Internet Security software. Is there a possible conflict between the two programs? I really need to get back to work but can't without the Auction Submit. Help!!!

A:Need help after Microsoft Tech Support! Run-time error! @#?&!!!

A lot of AntiVirus, Firewall and other similar software can cause headaches through conflicts etc. The best plan is to shut down such software before installing anything else. Try uninstalling your ebay program, shut down norton, reinstall ebay and then turn norton back on (allow for restarts etc), this may solve your problem. Good luck.

The other possible causes could be that you are running different versions following your reinstall of Windows; ensure all your software's upto date if you can, this tends to result in smoother systems altogether.

Hope this helps.

I have to do some data entry at work, part of my entry is entering in numbers in a range of 1-200, the problem is that I have to enter them in a list box, not a text box, so the numbers are already entered, I just have to "choose" them. Back a week ago before I had to have my work PC reloaded, when I would type the numbers "134", the list box would display: "1", then "13", then "134", as I typed the numbers. After the OS reload, when I type the numbers "134" in the list box I get "1", then "3", then "4". This makes it very time consuming because I either have to search down the list box to find "134", or hit the number "1" 45 times. I have checked auto complete settings in IE, and I couldn't find anything that seems to help.

The only thing I found that seemed to be of any help was this website here: http://showcase.netins.net/web/fourcats/index.php?id=18

That guys list box does exactly what I want mine to do. When you type "Montana" you get montana, not Alaska. However he doesn't say what settings he changed in order to get it to do that. I know it has to be possible as my old PC did it.

Thanks for any help.

We use a third-party Microsoft patch management system, unfortunately we have to approve all patches manually. It has become a monotonous task to jump on the security bulletin and manually "take-note" of all of the updates released (KB numbers)
to mitigate that vulnerability. After I take note of all of them, I have to jump on the "third-party Microsoft patch management system" and approve every patch (KB #) associated with that Bulletin.
I am wondering if there is an easier way to get a list of all of the new Microsoft patches released just for a specific Microsoft Security Bulletin. My current method is just sifting through the Bulletin and copying/pasting every KB number I find that is
designed to patch the vulnerability.
I would assume there is somewhere I can go or a tool I can utilize which would allow me to get the list of all of the KB numbers that need to be approved.
Or Am I out of luck (And just have to sift through the Bulletin to collect the associated KBs)?

I appreciate any and all suggestions/advice/ridicule.

I am in need of:
A.   a 'complete' list of steps needed to perform a 'Remote- Desktop-Connect' from a 'XP PRO PC' to a 'Win 7 PC'' -- is it possible?
B.   a 'complete' list of steps needed to perform a 'Remote- Desktop-Connect' from a 'XP PRO PC' to a 'XP Home Edition PC'
Please advise.
PS   YES, I know that support for XP and XP-PRO is going away in April 2014.  :-)

A:COMPLETE list of steps 2 Remote- Desktop-Connect from 'XP PRO PC' 2 a 'Win 7 PC'

I am not a fan of Remote Desktop tool in Windows so i am not sure whether it works. I would recommend using a simple and powerful tool like Ammy Admin which will support what you are looking for.

I am trying to create a SubProc that will check to see if there is any over lap of during the 'starttime' to 'endtime' time range that would cause a conflick of 2 codes being in the same 'AssignRoom' on a given 'CodeDate' during the starttime and the endtime. If so, then the 'Conflick' field would show "YES" otherwise "NO".
Problem is, I'm getting a error and can't see why. Any light on this issue is appreciated. I've attached a zip file of very small access db. The starttime and endtime as you'll see are text fields not time fields.

I tried installing a trial version of Living Cookbook on my desktop computer and it would not run. The following errors popped up. I installed the same program on my Laptop with the same windows 7 64bit configuration as my desktop and it ran fine. The only difference between the 2 computers is the laptop has Windows 7 home premium and my desktop has Windows 7 professional. Both computers have been fully updated with the latest Microsoft updates and are Malware and virus free. I don't know why the desktop is giving me this error when the laptop works fine. I have tried running this in Administrator mode, in window xp compatible mode all with same results. It ran with no configurations on my laptop.
I Googled MDAC 2.6 and all versions seem to be for XP systems. Again what ever is on my laptop doesn?t seem to be on my desktop.
I believe this is a System problem not a software problem, so I am posting this to see if any of you Great Windows 7 Gurus have any suggestion?

I'm trying to plan an event for school and I keep getting this Referential Integrity error message. I am trying to make a One-To-Many Relationship between the Clients Table & Events Table. The error message reads:

"Microsoft Access can't create the relationship & enforce referential integrity. Data in the table 'Events' violates referential integrity rules."

I tried to upload a screen shot but it was too big for the attachment so I can't do that I guess.

Please help me out. Would I need a foreign key for this to work? Just wondering.

I'm probably going to have to do a complete re-install of Win Vista 64-bit SP2 on my laptop, in order to get IIS completely working. In preparation for doing the complete re-install I'd like to know how to get a complete list of devices on my system which require drivers. If possible I'd like to make copies of all of the drivers I currently have in order to more easily re-install all of the device drivers during or after the OS has been re-installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
