Impossible To Run Exe Files

Q: Impossible To Run Exe Files

Yesterday my pc suddenly gave some strange errors after startup after that it suddenly became impossible to run exe files. I found out that the only way i could startup firefox was using a html site wich was still on my deskop. After trying "WinXP_EXE_Fix.reg" I was able to run some programs but most of them still gave a error that windows didn't reconise the file type. After rebooting my pc (after the Winxp_exe_Fix ) I was finally able to startup Hijackthis and let it scan my pc.The thing I don't get is if my pc doesn't reconise exe files anymore, why does it reconise explorer.EXE also al my shortcuts on my deskop turned to LNK files wich I can't open. I don't know much about pc's so I didn't want to mess with regedit.exe (except with the .reg file) also after 3 times of rebooting and starting the .reg file some programs got their origional icon back but still didn't work. (also i can't load my viruscanner wich is Norman).Is there anyway I can fix this without reinstalling xp?my Hijackthislog:Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 14:17:39, on 29-8-2008Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16705)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\Norman\Npm\bin\ELOGSVC.EXEC:\Norman\Npm\Bin\Zanda.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\Common Files\Corel\Corel PhotoDownloader\Corel Photo Downloader.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exeC:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\Apache Group\Apache2\bin\apache.exeC:\Program Files\Google\Common\Google Updater\GoogleUpdaterService.exeD:\Program Files\nero\Nero\Nero8\Nero BackItUp\NBService.exeC:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\Apache Group\Apache2\bin\apache.exeC:\Program Files\Eset\nod32krn.exeC:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\bin\nSvcLog.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\PSIService.exeC:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\bin\nSvcIp.exeC:\Norman\Npm\bin\NJEEVES.EXEC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\Norman\Nvc\bin\nvcoas.exeC:\Norman\Nvc\BIN\NVCSCHED.EXEC:\Documents and Settings\Hodel\Bureaublad\HiJackThis.exeR0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = socks=R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = KoppelingenO2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader Help bij koppelingen - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dllO2 - BHO: Groove GFS Browser Helper - {72853161-30C5-4D22-B7F9-0BBC1D38A37E} - D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveShellExtensions.dllO2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\ssv.dllO2 - BHO: Windows Live Aanmelden - Help - {9030D464-4C02-4ABF-8ECC-5164760863C6} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live\WindowsLiveLogin.dllO2 - BHO: Google Toolbar Helper - {AA58ED58-01DD-4d91-8333-CF10577473F7} - c:\program files\google\googletoolbar2.dll (file missing)O2 - BHO: Google Toolbar Notifier BHO - {AF69DE43-7D58-4638-B6FA-CE66B5AD205D} - C:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\2.1.1119.1736\swg.dll (file missing)O3 - Toolbar: &Google - {2318C2B1-4965-11d4-9B18-009027A5CD4F} - c:\program files\google\googletoolbar2.dll (file missing)O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] "nwiz.exe" /installO4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartupO4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Corel Photo Downloader] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Corel\Corel PhotoDownloader\Corel Photo Downloader.exe" -startupO4 - HKCU\..\Run: [swg] C:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\GoogleToolbarNotifier.exeO4 - HKLM\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [80c61b6eaf] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\tslovyly\pwdgtezo.exeO4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTFMON.EXE (User 'Lokale service')O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTFMON.EXE (User 'Netwerkservice')O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-18\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTFMON.EXE (User 'SYSTEM')O4 - HKUS\.DEFAULT\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTFMON.EXE (User 'Default user')O4 - Startup: Yahoo! Preferred Solution: Impossible To Run Exe Files

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

My 1 terabyte HD has been accidently formatted, thanks to windows image recovery and to my carelessness.

Iím interested to recover only one type of files format (Direct access archives) .daa files. Iíve tried lots of programs to recover this but not even a single DAA file has been discovered although the HD is full of them in different sizes, some are less than 50 MB and the important ones are more than 20 GB each. They hold all my previous work.

Iíve googled for data recovery but couldnít find a solution. All programs I used to recover data show me lots of files with lots of extensions but none show me DAA. Some of the recovered files are so big for its extension like *.ico with 5 GB of size. And so onÖlots of crap. Of course when I change the extension to something else more logic for its size it doesnít work.

Itís a disaster for me, Iíll be very grateful for your help.

thanks.

A:Is it impossible to recover DAA files?

Bad news--formatting wipes the HD completely. Are you sure you wiped every partition, if you have more than one?

Let's try to prevent further disaster. What is Windows Image Recovery? What OS are you using?

Hello, I am having issues on deleting files that I do not want on my pc any longer. The error says its being used by another program and i have tried Unlocker and several other programs to try and get rid of these files. One program said the files were located in my WINDOWS folder, and another said the files didn't exist. I have ran multiple spyware programs to no avail. I TRY running several different anti virus scans but when it reaches these malicious files the scan does not progress any further.

I am positive there are programs running in the background but I have no idea what they are. Also, every time i restart windows some weird bleep noise happens. I could really use some help from someone educated on these matters.

I have a big collection of movies on my hard drive which I watch everyday.
Strangely enough the other day when I went to watch an episode of south park windows media player crashed, followed by windows explorer and a data execution prevention window that shut down windows explorer (even if I already got a window saying that explorer had encountered an error and had to shut down).
I go check on other movies and I get the same problem, .mpgs, mp-4s, divx.. All different movie files were totally inaccessible. I tried opening them with realplayer and winamp but unfortunetly I got the same results.

Anti-Virus = AVG free
Firewall = Sygate Personal Firewall
Antispyware = ad-aware and spysweeper

From what they say my computer is clean for viruses and malware

I got windows XP SP 2 media center edition, any idea of what might be causing this?

Thank you for your time.

Hey all --

I'm wondering. I have a bunch of ripped CDs on my computer for a class I'm taking (Rock and Roll History..WOO!)

Anyway, these CDs are taking up a LOT of room on my laptop, and I'd like to just burn them all and be done with it. What I'm wondering is, can MP3 files be burned to a blank DVD, or do I have to use a blank CD?

Dumb question, probably -- but I am really curious. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

A:Burning Mp3 Files To A Dvd -- Possible Or Impossible?

You can burn MP3s to a DVD as a DVD data disk, sure. The question is what are you going to be playing it back on? It won't work on a regular CD audio player, it probably wouldn't work on a CD player with MP3 playback unless it states specifically that it will read DVD media. Most set-top DVD players will play MP3, I believe they'll do it from a DVD disk. And computers will also play them back fine provided they have a DVD-ROM drive.

Hi all,

I have a few PST files in a folder on my C drive. I cannot copy or move my files on a D drive or an external hard disk.

I tried to use several user accounts which are all of them members of Admin group but unfortunately special permissions are still required.

By reading a few posts on this site, I used takeown -f and icalcs.exe c:\ /grant Administrator:F commands with no success. (The commands are processed successfully).

I booted under Linux and tried to move the files with no success again.

What's wrong?

i don't know what could do now?

Thanks for your help,

Olivier

I download a lot of files and folders from the web, and heres one of the main reasons I find windows more of a pain to use than linux -- NO WAY TO FORCE CHMOD 777 on folders....

I've been cleaning out all the old unnecessary files, and I've come across a folder that simply wont allow itself to be deleted.

within this folder there are several other folders in a hierarchy, and at each level, they are all read-only. I tried removing the read only tab, but they REFUSE to change from read only (and I AM the administrator), and the files at the bottom of the hierarchy are all .gif (and other?) image files. None of these even have Delete available as an option when right clicked, and if I circle a bunch of them and click delete nothing happens.

if I try to delete the folder they are in, it gives me ACCESS DENIED.

If Windows XP wasnt so gay, and used the FAT32 filesystem I could just make a linux bootdisk, boot from there, mount /dev/hda1, chmod 777 and delete it from there, but NTFS mounting support is still sketchy to this day.

any way I could forcibly remove this folder? None of the files within it are being used with any processes, it looks like some of them (or all) are either corrupt, or insisting on being read-only for one reason or another...

Is there any way to stop Virtu Monde popups? Somehow, I have become infected. Nothing seems to stop this creature. I have NIS installed. It doesn't help. I have Windows Defender installed. It doesn't help. My settings are set to block all popups. It doesn't help. Spyware Doctor will remove Virtu Monde a hundred times a day, but it always keeps comming back. I don't want to remove Virtu Monde a hundred times a day. I want to stop it from placing popups on my computer in the first place. Is this possible. If so, how do I do it?

Thank you in advance,

A:Is this impossible?

Hello likekinds

Spyware Doctor is not cleaning it all out.

The only way to totally get rid of it is by using HijackThis

You should post a HijackThis log. The experts on the forum there will clean it all up for you

If you have a recent restore point you can go that route and restore your computer to a point before you changed this.Any other programs or settings will revert back to that time.

The log on screen is normal and any user can be selected to log on. But, when selcted to log on, it loads personal settings, flashes the desktop and immediately logs off and saves the settings. I have a folder in my external terabyte that appeared some time ago. I can not delete it with any software. I tried to delete with DOS and it says all the same. The problem is that it will not let me downgrade it to a write-able format. It seems to be locked in READ ONLY status. I have attempted to take ownership of the drive and the files, but I can not get rid of it. When I first noticed it, it was random letters. When I tried to delete the file it turned into many many "Z's". When I ran the DOS delete protocol it changed into 6 "Z's"; with in that folder is a empty folder called "Update". Since then I have not been able to do anything about it. I don't know what to do. I even downloaded a program called Delete on Boot, and still no success. I have been coming here for about a year when I caught the Rogue Internet Security 2010. It was since then, 12/30/09 the day that i reformatted to yield to the virus's victory that the file first appeared in the external hard drive. I am wits end and I know someone out there can help me. Please tell me what to do. I was told that it was very complex and destructive hack file. Am I infected again?

I have installed on my computer a new PC only version of Windows 8. I've not purchased a new PC for about 8 years so its impossible it came with the computer, I built the computer myself.

I remember I brought an upgrade copy of Win8 in error, I got it from PC world. I still have those disk but now I also have this new PC version. I remember going back to PC to tell them I brought it in error I also remember calling the MS helpline.

Can anyone make sense of this? How did this copy come to be working on this computer?

I'm currently wanting to do a clean install but I can't because I can't workout what happened in the past

HELP

Cheers

A:How is this even impossible?

Sounds like you may have an OEM System Builder versions of Windows 8. It is intended to be installed by someone or a company building a new computer that is to be resold. That particular version includes a personal use license which allows anyone to buy an OEM System Builder copy of the software and install it on a (new or old) PC that is intended for personal use. It should have come with an installation key.

Here is some more information on the ZDnet web site.

Hello likekinds

Spyware Doctor is not cleaning it all out.

The only way to totally get rid of it is by using HijackThis

You should post a HijackThis log. The experts on the forum there will clean it all up for you

Hey guys it's me again with my annoying and those that seem to be impossible-to-fix-problems.

Well 3 months ago i bought an AMD 5600+ Dual Core and i had lots of problems since then, believing it was defective, i wrote to AMD support and requested an RMA. My replacement arrived today. It fixed LOTS of random crashes and my computer was able to boot up properly with both rams placed on in dual channel. I went to play on Soulstorm, it crashed, sometimes half way through a game or sometimes about 5 minutes into the game. I went on another game which is Company of Heroes, it crashed too.

The only reason i tested these 2 games was because they crashed most of the times when i had the defective processor.I thought it was the RAM but i thought it wouldn't make any sense because while waiting for my replacement to arrive, i put in my old AMD Athlon 3500+ and it worked fine with EVERY SINGLE games so it couldn't be the RAM and it can't be the replacement either. Not knowing what else to do, i took one stick of ram out, and guess what? It worked like a charm ! I really have no idea what's going on inside but if anyone had been through this or anyone who knows how to fix please help and....ermm if it works you'll be able to rest assured that a person on earth is grateful and just wants to kill you with hugs XD

Hi! I'm new here -- noticed that a few people had the same problem I'm having with IE Pop-Ups, so I thought I'd look for some help. Spyware scans and pop-up stoppers couldn't cut it and my virus scanner finds nothing wrong.

Though I can only check back here every now and then, and not on the weekends (I apologize in advanced for slow replies), I was hoping that someone might have some ideas on where to go to fix this!

I have what would seem at first to be a very simple problem with my wireless mice, but all of my attempts at solving it have yielded no progress. I am hoping for someone hardware-savvy to help me out. Here's my schtick:

I began experiencing skipping with my wireless mouse just subtle enough to irritate me and throw off my game (Dota and the like) a few weeks ago. I was using, at that time, a larger Logitech mouse. Unfortunately, I can't recall the make of it, but I had been using it for at least two or three years. One of my front USB ports on my machine doesn't work at all, but I tried the back of my tower and also on the side of my secondary monitor. No improvement. So naturally, I concluded that either my mouse or receiver was just aged and in need of replacement.

I have now been using this Logitech m510 for a week, but the slight skipping is still there, at times more or less noticeable. This led me to believe it was a trouble with the surface of my wooden desktop. I cleaned it thoroughly-- nothing. I tried a mouse pad-- nothing. The receiver is in clear sight directly beside my shoulder, so I would like to think that interference could not possibly be so sensitive. Where is the trouble? Coincidentally ALL of my USB ports?

My PC is a decently powerful machine, I built it within the last year. I am running Win7 64-bit from a Corsair Force 3 SSD with an i5-2500k CPU and 8GB of RAM. My GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 6800. Any ideas? If you need more information fr... Read more

I'm updating a Qosmio G50-12F PQG55E-04C02YFR
The BIOS Version is 2
Windows version : 7 Pro 64

I've replaced the 2 original 2GO RAM sticks by 2 4G0 compatible RAM sticks.

I've tried to update the BIOS from the Toshiba support site, but the only available version doesn't support my computer (message when I try to install it).

The current BIOS indicates 8GO.
CPUZ indicates only 4GO
Windows indicates 8GO installed, 4GO available.

I've already tried to put only one stick, then the other (all is normal with only one 4GO memory stick), I've checked the BIOS parameters as indicated in forums and configuration panel parameters too.

Has some one a clue?

This is probably not the right place to ask, but does anyone know of a simple way of saving to a file in My Documents (for later burning) a piece of music that's playing on my computer from a CD in the drive or something downloaded from the net?

Ideally I'm looking to have a software icon in my taskbar which I can click to start recording something I'm listening to on my computer.

I would really appreciate any help with this.

A:The Impossible Dream? Is It?

There are applications that can do this. One that I know of is Virtual Audio Cable. I've used it and it works well, but it cost's $30.A free alternative may be the LineIn Plugin for WinAmp, though I've never tried it.Please note that using such applications for copyright infringement is a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (in the USA) and/or equivalent national laws outside the USA.

Hello boys and girls. About one year ago, my 500GB Western Digital MyBook hard drive died when I unplugged it from my motherboard. It lived a long life. It was time for it to die. I figured maybe a power surge killed it since I didn't "Safely remove the hardware". The computer it died on was built by myself. It was an Asus motherboard and a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS. I was convinced that my data was lost, so I bought a 500GB Toshiba Canvio portable USB drive in the color black. I plugged it into a rear USB 2.0 port. It was recognized for about three seconds, and then Windows displayed a yellow popup from the bottom right corner of the taskbar saying "The device has malfunctioned". A new hard drive? Come on. I brought it downstairs to my dads Vista machine, and it worked just fine. I scratched my head, and for kicks, I tried my "dead" MyBook on the same machine. It worked! I could see all my data!

After this, I figured it was a bad motherboard. Since none of the ports on the computer were working with it. (Mind you, mice, flashdrives, printers, keyboards, hubs, etc. were all functioning fine on the system). It was ONLY mass storage USB devices that were not working. I waited about a year and built a new computer. New EVERYTHING. Windows 7 OS, Asus motherboard, and all that good stuff. I was so excited to finally be able to use my USB hard drive again. I missed my data. But... It didn't work. It makes the usb "Bee-boop" but will no... Read more

Hello people, I came to this forum in rage. This is so weird i can't help but scratch my head and watch in awe. Here's the deal:

Like most people here i have some sort of an internet black-out problem. My event log is full of error's considering DHCP unavailability and other connection problems. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. I reinstalled windows 7 Ultimate x64 two times, formated the disks 3 times each installation JUST in case, and when i start surfing on an absolutely CLEAN install the connection error pops up. Event Viewer says that the computer tries to connect to a dns server but apparently is timed out. I started safe mode with networking, and there was no problem. How the hell is this possible? Safe Mode with Net is no probs, clean instal, even with no drivers gives cutts me off the net! The other weird thing is that when this happens, i can't acces the Network and Sharing center,or anything that lists my adaptor! I can't even shut down the computer cuz it freezes during the shutdown process. From my research it appears that it's still hailing in hope to recieve an IP from the DHCP server. So i tried many method's i found in similar posts around the forums. Here's the list of things i did:

After seeing that safe mode runs internet with no problem (or maybe it didn't, i ran in safe mode for about 30-40 minutes,so i'm not 100% positive),while the clean install doesn't, i though it was because of the drivers.Updated them with the newest ones. There was no pro... Read more

My hard drive failed a few months back, turned it on one day and got a series of clicks and chirp sounds and it was dead. I tried a couple things suggested on here but none of them helped and ended up installing windows on a new drive. I recently found an indentical model number to the one I have on ebay(a Hitachi Deskstar for a Dell). When I receive it, I'll plug it in to make sure it works, then i'm going to attempt a disk swap between the two. I had to find a funky size torx bit for the outer screws and now I see the disk is attached with another torx that is a bit smaller so i'll need one of those too. I know this should be done in a clean room and even then it's supposed to be a hit or miss and it's likely not to work. I figured i'd give it a shot for the $28 it costs for the new drive with shipping. Am I wasting my time or do I have a slim chance of being successful? And no, I hadn't made any backups from that drive, partly because of the crappy NEW Pioneer dvd-r drive I had returned just before this happened(a couple others posted issues in this forum regarding that model also around the same time I did).

Hello, today all of a sudden my PC just BSOD'd out of nowhere. Now when I try to boot into normal mode it BSODs, and if I try to go into safe mode it either BSOD's or stalls while loading classpnp.sys. I was able to boot using Last Known Good Configuration but it's really aunstable. Windows boots fine but it can BSOD at any momeny and when I tried to run an anti-virus the whole computer froze altogether near the end. I can get into System Repair options but I don't know what to do. I tried to use system restore in there but it said I had no restore points which I thought I did. It also said local disc D: near the top tab even though my local drive is C. Can someone help me out? My OS is Windows 7 32-bit.

Hi,

do you think you've been infected with malware or is it more likely you're looking at a hardware failure or software problem?

Hey Hey - Happy Holidays all!!

Got a machine running XP Home SP1 and it started having strange IE problems, like not displaying backgrounds on some sites [they were mostly php Nuke sites]; then it started crashing all the time when going to Windows Update site. Then started crashing all the time unpredictably and couldn't find a pattern.

No virus [Norton clean], no spyware or adware [Webroot SpySweeper clean]
Tried reinstalling XP but to no avail
Tried to install SP2 in hopes that it would over write problems, BUT it WILL NOT install - - goes for a while and then just stops - - no messages, nothing, just stops install - attempted it 4 times and got a partial install is all; had to uninstall that.

Any ideas? Please!!

Thanks all and have happy, healthy holidays

Ron

A:IE impossible to solve? What else can I try?

I don't have XP so I have no first hand knowledge of it. However, you will find links to articles about failed SP2 installs in this list;http://www.scotsnewsletter.com/best_of/xpsp2links.htm

As for your original IE problem, I wonder if you can still try to 'repair' IE like you could in the older OS's?. To do it, you went to Add/Remove, selected IE to uninstall, and then were given the option to repair it.

Assuming that is still possible in XP, I am not saying it will help your problem because I just don't know.

Usng my same old Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade DVD to do a clean install on a new laptop.

I've been told this was not possible.

I did delete all partitions on the main hard drive, then format during the installation process but other than name the hard drives, This is what I got after the install was complete.

Do you think I will have any problems down the road?

Thank You

A:So this supposed to be impossible?

I've used an Ultimate upgrade DVD to do a few clean reinstalls on the same machine. I would think you'd need a new key to activate the same installer to a different machine. If you used the same key both times then one will show up as non genuine, eventually, I think at least.

Hey,

So, ever since I got the update for it in Windows Update, like a few months ago, I could never install IE9 on my computer. I have tried every possible means to install it.

-Download the modified (B00IE8/IE9) package
-Download the 32Bit (x86) Upgrade package
-Using Windows Update

And after multiple attemtps, I'm still opening IE8. Don't get me wrong, I have Google Chrome and Firefox, but I would like to have everything on this computer upgraded so I don't need to look at it in Windows Update.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Regards,
-TPS

Hi!
A few months ago (April 2000), I ENCRYPTED a *.zip-file with the PGP-freeware (hope u heard of it). I wrote down my pass-phrase and de-installed the PGP-software a few weeks later, but let the file (xxx.zip.pgp) encrypted. Now I am in urgent need of this file I encrypted with the PGP software, but I CAN NOT DECRYPT IT with the current PGP software!!!! WHY?!?! I installed PGP-freeware 6.58, which is the latest one, and made EXACTLY the same passphrase like I did, to encrypt the data, but everytime I try to double-click the "xxx.zip.pgp"-file, PGP opens up a little window, telling me that my no pass sentence or something like that could be found! And when I click on the "unknown"-line in this window, the program tries to connect to a server, but everytime I get a "Server-error"! THIS SUCKS!
How do I DECRYPT a file which has been ENCRYPTED a few months ago, when another version of PGP was used?
HELP!
