Fuzzy Secondary Display? 9800XT dual display issues.

Q: Fuzzy Secondary Display? 9800XT dual display issues.

I recently hooked up a secondary monitor to my ati 9800 XT, and its crap!

It's a Goldstar Stuidoworks 76i monitor. I have a dvi-vga adaptor and a regular vga-m/m cable. the problem isnt with the dvi cause if i plug my good monitor into the dvi adaptor, it works well and the 76i is still blurry.

the problem is if i change the resolution to anything greater than 800x600, the picture gets very fuzzy, and unusable. i've tried lots of different freq. combinations, and tried changing the colour as well. i looked all over for drivers for the monitor but i didnt find any for XP, i found something that was basically colour profiles, i loaded them, but they didnt change anything.

am i forgetting something? or is the monitor just CRAPOLA?

thank you so much for your help!!

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A: Fuzzy Secondary Display? 9800XT dual display issues.

Well since you checked to DVI adapter with another monitor I say your monitor is going bad. How old is it? There might be a label with the year on it the back. I have seen this happen to monitors only old 3 years old but usually it monitors older than that.

Other signs indicating its near death is a high pitch whine at higher resolutions or max brightness and contrast.

Tell us what you find.

I have two monitors hooked up, my primary is a 22 inch samsung my secondary is a 19 inch microtek. My problem is that some things (mainly firefox and Documents) open on my secondary monitor. Even if I move the window to my primary monitor maximize it and then close it, when I open it again it opens on my secondary. I really only use my secondary monitor for design work in photoshop, illustrator etc. so it is off a lot of the time. It is annoying to have to turn it on just to move firefox over to my primary one.

What would cause this problem and it only does it with some programs and windows, but not all

A:Dual Monitor Secondary Display

try this: minimize the window drag it to the appropriate monitor, and close it while still windowed.
Relaunch the program and it should appear windowed on the correct monitor. After maximizing and closing it again it should launch fullscreen, and in the correct monitor.

Hi all,
I recently purchased a new monitor and have been trying to watch youtube videos while i play certain games. The issue I'm having is that when my games go into load screens, my videos on the second screen don't continue to play (usually the sound plays as if the video is still playing, however the picture just freezes).
I've also tried playing a second game on the other screen (one that is a lot less taxing on my system than the primary) and i have the same issue (sounds play, however picture freezes).

Basically what i want to know is if this problem is simply a hardware issue (which an upgrade can solve) or if I'm just trying to do too much.

My primary monitor is an AOC AG271QG which i run at its native settings (2560 x 1440 at 144fps) connected through the display port of my graphics card and my secondary screen is a 60" samsung tv which i run at 1920 x 1080 at 60fps through the HDMI port of my graphics card.
My graphics card is a EVGA 1080 FTW (which i feel should be able to keep up with the work load) and i currently have 32GB ram. I am running Windows 10.
I have tried using the tv as primary instead and still have the same issue with whichever screen i am not using at the time.
If i need to provide any more info please let me know. Thanks

I recently purchased two LG L203WT LCD monitors. I have an ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE 6600 GT with a DVI and a VGA port. When I plug in both monitors, one will work fine a the native resolution of 1680 by 1050, but the other will only go to 1600 by 1024. I have updated all drivers. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the monitor bacuase the problem switches monitors when i switch the cables. through a complex process of switching between the dvi cable and a vga to dvi adapter, I can get them both to the correct resolution, but it reverts upon computer restart. The problem is not just with the monitor plugged into the DVI port, sometimes the one on the VGA port has the problem. could the problem be related to the fact that my graphics card only has one dvi port? Tigerdirect is selling a setup very similar to mine but the graphics card has two dvi ports. (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3106998&CatId=2776) Should I buy a graphics card with two dvi ports? Or do I need a second graphics card? I'm completely out of ideas.

Thanks in advance for the help!

What's the max res for the video card?
What's the max for each monitor?
Try lowering the res for both so the max up correctly..
If both monitors have DVI you can get a DVI Y monitor split..

connects to the video card --female with two male ends (for each monitor to connect)

Don't mix VGA and DVI together is has to be one or the other. It might work for some but I don't recommend it. Unless you use a VGA Y cable to split the two monitors.

Again don't max the res until you can get the both of the monitors to work correctly.

Hi all

I have spent a long time investigating this with no luck yet. I have a 4k display and a second 1080p display. Using the Skylake onboard Intel HD 530 graphics. Either display alone works fine at native res, however in dual monitor config, the smaller display appears fuzzy/aliased. This is not just the text but the entire content and seems to happen for all apps including Edge. I have messed around with the display scaling with no luck. Even when both are set at 100% (making the 4k content super small) the problem persists. I have verified that both are at native res and have the latest drivers. Doe anyone have any more suggestions?

A:Issues with dual display 4k + HD

I could be wrong, because my only dual-monitor setup uses identical monitors, but I always though you would need a third-party app, like Display Fusion, to handle multiple monitors with different resolutions. Maybe this is still the case?

OK so i just got two 17" lcd monitors for my computer and want to hook them both up for a dual display, with the desktop extended onto the second monitor. So far i've tried using the onboard graphics + PCI, as well as PCI+PCI, but niether works adequately. PCI + Onboard lets both screens be used, but only 1 displays correctly. The onboard graphics is fine, but for some odd reason the PCI card will only give me the options for a 800x600 resolution with 4 bit colors. As for PCI + PCI, it will only allow one PCI card to work at a time. Is there anything I can do about this without going out and spending money? I'm broke, so really any money spent is impossible. lol.

PCI 1= nVidia Geforce 6200 (Primary GPU)
PCI 2= nVidia GeForce FX 5200
Onboard=Intel chipset something or other....i had to uninstall the drivers to get my primary PCI card to work right again

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3......Any and all help is appreciated Thnks

I've had a two monitor setup for some time. I'm using an Acer monitor and a flat screen TV. Everything has been going fine until the latest Windows update last week.

My Acer was always the main display and it turned into monitor #2 after the update. I've tried all the ways to get the Acer back to #1 to no avail. On top of that, the TV has scaling problems and icons bleed off the bottom of the screen.

I've tried all the ways to switch them back but... nothing.

When I highlight #2 in Display Settings the "make this main display" is grayed out. Now I read that this means that monitor *is* my main display, but it's not. When I click on "identify" it always says #2. I've even unplugged the TV from the computer and rebooted without the TV attached. When I re-attach, back to the same thing. I don't even have to physically redo the setup. How can this be resolved?

I have a dual monitor setup, where the laptop is hooked to a 2nd monitor (TV) thru an HDMI . I primarily use the 2nd monitor. Can I blank screen the 1st (laptop screen) monitor, yet continue to use the 2nd monitor with the lid open for access to the keyboard?(I noticed with changed settings in Win7 control panel, I can close the lid without cutting off [sleep, hibernate or shut-off] the computer and had to reduce the 2nd monitor display to fit the visible screen. But to use the keyboard one has to open the laptop lid, which kicks in the 1st screen)Thank you

I just purchased a Wacom Cintiq12 drawing/display tablet and I'm trying to set it up as a second display monitor. The Cintig is plugged in to the same GPU card as my main monitor. There are two things I'm confused about. For some reason, In the Display properties settings tab, Windows shows me as having three monitors, when I should only have two. Also, after I installed the drivers for the Cintiq, one of the monitors was correctly identified as a the Cintiq, but after reboot it defaulted back to "Default" monitor in the drop down box. In any case, for some reason, I can't assign the tablet as a second monitor in the Windows settings panels. When I activate the second monitor and check "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" and click apply, it unchecks it automatically and does nothing.

With my current NVidia settings panel, I do not see any multi display options for SLI mode (if there are any). I tried disabling SLI but that still will not display on the Cintiq. The only way I can get the Cintiq to display is to make it my primary SLI target on the NVidia control panel.

Does NVidia support dual displays in SLI mode? Is this a know issue? I want to run my main monitor and my Cintiq display simultan... Read more

Ok so I've researched for the past week and have found nothing so I figured I'd ask you guys for some help.

I just upgraded from XP to Vista Home Premium (32 Bit) and I'm having a heck of a time getting my dual display working. I'm using an nVidia 8800GT card with dual DVI out. The first is going to my 24'' HP monitor, the second is going to my 42'' LCD TV. In the nVidia Control panel, it is recognizing both however, when I go to clone the screen the secondary monitor turns on but it is just a black screen, no image.

I've been looking all over for fixes for this and have yet to find any, this is really hindering my production capabilities so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I've been having some issues with dual display with a T440s and a 40A2009US Ultra Dock. OS is Windows 7 64 Enterprise. I two identical Dell LCDs connected to the dock. One via VGA and the other DVI. Both displays are being mirrored and I can't seem to change it. There is only one monitor listed in Device manager. Both external monitors will only display an image if the PC is started closed from the docking station power button. Removing the laptop and replacing it on the docking station does not wake the monitors and there is no image until the laptop is manually shutdown and restarted. I have updated graphics drivers, as well as any driver related to the dock (USB3.0 etc). I have tried a displayport to DVI connector as well, no go. After some research I discovered the firmare may need to be updated. The synaptics package from the lenovo support downloads site gave me the message that my firmware was already up to date. The other fwdphb06.exe that is recommended elsewhere would not update. When I double-click the package there is no install prompt or process being run. There is an external monitor connected to the dock. I have swapped the dock for another, as well as the power supplies for each. I'm stumped. Any idea what my issue may be?

Hi All,
We've installed a number of Dell Optiplex 3040 machines running Windows 10 pro x64 at a customers site with dual Dell E2316H monitors connected directly via VGA and display port cables.
Two users have reported daily issues of the monitors flickering black and going off before coming back a few seconds later.
We've tried updating the graphics driver, firmware, changing power settings and swapping out cables for new ones - none of this has made any difference.
We've also asked the users to move desks and connect to working monitors. The issue followed the PC's and occured on the other monitors.
We only have remote access to the machines at the moment so Dell won't help troubleshoot.
I've seen other posts reporting the same issue with the Optiplex 3040's so wondering if this is a known issue.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Windows 7 64 turns off the monitor 1 signal after startup. At login, it powers off monitor 1 and powers on monitor 2. Windows 7 behaves as though dual display is working even though monitor 1 does not display. It's the same for single display, the monitor will not work on cable 1 except at startup.

Both 'Extend these displays' in Windows Screen Resolution and 'Extend' in the Nvidia Control Panel is selected. And changing which one is primary does not turn on monitor 1. Nor does switching the position of display 1 in either (ex. left/right/top/bottom).

My ThinkPad T500 running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional Edition worked great on and off a mini docking station with 2 external monitors. The dual-display setup allowed me to have more desktop space; when needed, I can take the laptop off the docking station (following undocking steps) and use it anywhere. This convenience no longer holds after upgrading to Windows 10.

With the T500 in the docking station (LCD lid closed), I can use the dual-display setup as in Windows 7. However, after shut-down and remove the T500 off the docking station and the T500 laptop becomes unusable because its LCD display doesn't show anything after boot. (While booting the laptop's display shows the ThinkPad boot logo and then some DOS-mode boot messages and then the windows 10 logo and its dotted spinning wheel; after the initial boot the display went blank and the Windows 10 desktop doesn't come up.)

The only way to make the T500 laptop usable on its own is to go through a "preparation procedure" and here is how the procedure goes: While the T500 is on the docking station in the dual-display setup with the 2 external monitors, open the T500's lid and set its display as the main display and then select to disconnect the other 2 external displays (in the Settings -> System -> Display page); then , in the T500's LCD display, select the shut down. Once the T500 is properly powered off, remove it from the docking station and the T500 can work on its own as a laptop supposed to be. W... Read more

Morning, Trying to figure out something here, this is, for all intents and purposes, something new for me, as I've been mostly a "Mom n Pop" Tech vs "Business Tech" so, anyway. I'm working with M900, and M910Q with Intel 530 Integrated for video. I'm trying to trouble the following issues to verify if I missed anything, before punting said minipcs to Lenovo for RMA. Anywho, issues: 1. A M910Q, only the DP port with the metal bracket will work. When the Primary is plugged in, any secondary plugged into the other ports will show up under that port when looking at it in the Intel GFX Display view. I figured this out when I changed the resolution on the 2nd monitor, primary changes. Primary is the live monitor. 2. We have a number of M910s and M900's where when trying to use dual monitors, thru DP -> VGA or DP -> DVI. Monitors would flicker like strobe lights. This can sometimes be bandaided by swapping cables and adapters, but not completely remove the issue. I will point out that we do not have any actual DP Capable monitors on site. Not yet anyway, and those that will be, are going to ThinkCentres with Discrete Cards in them... Ideas? Am I miss anything? I don't see anything in the BIOS to help me, and updating the drivers doesn't seem to provide resolution either. Most are running old drivers, but a few are running the latest for the machine.

Say the game's main background colour is red and the secondary colour is green. Sometimes the green will shift onto the red or the opposite. Also, sometimes instead of colour switching. White and black patches appear, giving the effect of a fuzzy screen. Please help me solve this problem.

This is my second monitor, that has done this,i have just had it replaced under warranty, its better but the problem is still there, when i use a HDMI to DVI cable the screen keeps going blank, and when i use VGA cable the screen stays on but is fuzzy.

I have a quad boot system with xp,vista32 and vista 64,all with different drivers for my 2 gtx260's,one of them has no display driver and it is still fuzzy.

I've tried two monitors,3 cables, many graphix drivers, and swapping my gtx260's around but no go.

The only thing i can think of is maybe interferance, but i've owned this system for two years and this is a fairly new problem.

Any ideas???
new problem, now my monitor goes blank after about 10 mins and stays off,the power light is still on.

A:fuzzy display and goes blank.

Um, it's not a video card problem, of course. It is a problem with the monitor then. Just go replace it.

Even when one of your OSes is not using the graphics card, you are getting the fuzzy screen. So surely, the monitor's doing it.

Do you live in a too cold place, or are there any magnetic things around the screen?

Are you sure you have the Intel graphics package? You might have the AMD package. Either way there's a simple way to figure it out.

Download Speccy and find out what graphics card you have via running it. Once you've done that, select the correct driver from either the Intel or AMD site.

A:G585 - Fuzzy display issue

Hi mandi8084,
This issue may cause by an app or a display problem. In order for us to determine it, check to see if Task Manager have the same problem. Then, based on that information, you'll need to either uninstall the app or update the display driver.
Open Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys on the keyboard at the same time. If that doesn't work, right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen and then select Task Manager.

If Task Manager doesn't display the same, an app is probably causing it.
If Task Manager does, a display driver is probably causing the problem.

Let me know the result.

I'm hoping you can help with several PC problems. I've had one of these problems for a long time. But recently, two new problems are occurring and I don't know how to fix them.

The long time problem is that my computer will not shut down. When it does try to shut down it starts back up again automatically. I've researched this in the past and tried a few things but I was never able to resolve this.

The two recent problems are that my computer will automatically reboot after short periods of time. This, along with a situation where the display gets 'blurry' have been occurring only the past couple of weeks.

I hope you can help with one, or all, of these problems.

I'm pasting in my hijackthis notepad file for reference (and including a file copy as well.)

I went on vacation a couple weeks ago and came back to find these fuzzy lines being displayed on my computer. The computer was off the entire week. I've had my computer since last December so it shouldn't be an issue with compatibility. I reinstalled my graphics drivers and I also hooked the monitor up to my laptop using a VGA cable(my computer uses a DVI-D cable) and was having the same lines appear. So I have narrowed it down to a problem with the monitor itself. I have an ASUS VH242H monitor.

System Info:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6950
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Monitor Model: ASUS VH242H

http://i50.tinypic.com/25ggsa9.jpg there are lines from taking the picture of the monitor but these lines are best shown on the task bar with library, new, store, donate. They are very small and only go a couple pixels

A:very small and fuzzy lines on monitor display

Since you've already established it's the monitor and nothing else, there's not a lot more we can say other than you may have a good reason to claim a repair or replacement under warranty as it's less than 12-months old. We certainly don't advise you start messing with it's internals (even if you/we knew what we were doing) while a warranty claim is possible.

Contact ASUS and ask for an RMA under warranty (Returned Merchandise Authorisation) and what the procedure is for returning it. Worldwide telephone contact numbers for ASUS are here: http://support.asus.com/Hotlines.aspx?SLanguage=en

I recently got a new laptop (Sony Vaio F series w/ Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) and today I tried connecting the laptop to my NEC MultiSync LCD1990SXi monitor using the monitor's VGA cable. It worked and I tested it out for a little bit and then disconnected the monitor from the laptop and plugged it back into my computer tower (Windows XP Professional SP3). When I turned my XP desktop back on the resolution was "off," as if everything was squashed/distorted or fuzzy and blurred. I went to Control Panel - Display - Settings and adjusted the screen resolution to every setting but none of them look right; none are clear or sharp. I don't know what resolution I'd always used before changing it around to all the other ones today but I'm pretty sure it was either 1280 by 1024 pixels or 1280 by 960 pixels. If I had to guess I'd say it was the 1280x1024. (The laptop uses 1920x1080 pixels if that makes any difference).

I also noticed in the Control panel - Display - Settings window that it says "Display: Plug and Play Monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS"
I can't swear that it didn't say this before, but I don't think it did. I think it used to say NEC LCD1990SXi or something to that effect, so I don't know why it changed or how to change it back. I clicked the Advanced button in Display - Settings and clicked the Monitor tab and it just says "Monitor type: Plug and Play Monitor." I couldn't f... Read more

Since upgrading my xps13 L321x to windows 10, my display goes fuzzy/glitching/corrupted after a few minutes of use, you can still make out what's on the screen but its very fuzzy.

Once it goes fuzzy, If I close the lid, and open the lid, then I'm presented with the login screen which looks ok again, and when I log on then the display is ok, for a couple of minutes
This started immediately after the windows 10 update.
Please help

A:XPS 13 display problems / screen goes fuzzy - after windows 10 upgrade

I experienced this problem on my XPS 13 once I upgraded from windows 7 to 8, and have still got the issue with windows 10 although it has been less frequent.
I have got a script on my desktop which turns the screen off and you can wake it back up by moving the mouse, this seems to fix the problem.
I have had this issue for quite sometime and have never found somebody else reporting the same thing!

I have a problem with my computer's display. If I let the computer start up normally the display is fuzzy, full of horizontal lines and I am unable to make out anything on the screen. When I use safe mode the display is fine like nothing is wrong.
I'm running Vista Home Premium SP 2 on a dell studio 540. I'm using an hdtv as my monitor. It is attached to the hdmi port on my computer. I don't have another monitor that I can use.
This is what I was doing immediately before the problem started. I was running a live boot of Kali-Linux 1.06 but the display was cut off I couldn't see the full desktop. I was unable to shut down the computer because I couldn't see the shut down menu. I pressed the power button on the front of the computer to turn it off. When I turned the computer back on the BIOS screen appeared as usual but then the screen went blank and stayed blank. So I tried rebooting the computer a few times and a few hours later the screen started showing the fuzzy horizontal lines that I see now.
I did a system restore to the day before I ran Kali- Linux but it didn't do anything.
I reset the bios settings to factory default because I read that it might help but it didn't make a difference.
Thanks in advance

If the problem doesn't reoccur in Safe Mode it would be your graphics driver.
When you boot into Safe Mode the graphics driver used isn't what you normally use, it is a driver which is native to the operating system.
I would suggest uninstalling the graphics driver, then download the driver from Dell Support.

I have an old Lenovo S10e ideapad which I bought here in Japan. I have not used it in a few years, but I wanted to see how well it works now. I turned it on, and it seemed to look just fine. Nice crisp desktop image. I shut it down normally, then turned on later the same day, and the color scheme was awful right from the beginning of bootup.Instead of a blue background, it was green. When it reached the desktop screen, all the icons along the side and in the toolbar were blurry/fuzzy. Any image was, such as when I clicked on the START button. What's more, the desktop screen was not the simple one-color background. It resembled a pool of water with many ripples radiating outward, from a hazy green, to a bluish, and finally to a sick pinkish. I tried adjusting colors, looking at the BIOS screen (also discolored in the same way, not black), manually shutting it off and holding the power button for an additional 15 second, waited 3 minutes after that with a cool machine to start with, and removed and put back the current battery. None of these things have helped. If it means anything, the charging unit gets very hot. It functions on internet and other things, but this massive change in display is impossible to work with. I have screen pics taken with my iPhone, but I will wait until asked to attach them. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have tried calibration, the text is VERY hard to read. I adjusted the high contract options but those are obscene, I only want to edit the text colors to help with readability. It is bad enough I think I'll return this tonight.

This is not my laptop, so I'm not sure how long it's been doing this. There is now a black space about 1.5 cm all around the perimeter of the screens lighted display area, and the characters are beginning to look washed out and spotty.

I'm really worried. I hate to return it looking like this. Do I have any choice?

On my desktop there are controls which resize the screen, etc. There appear to be none on the laptop.

Does anyone know any trouble-shooting procedures, so that I can at least determine if this is a death knell or something fixable?

Have you checked in device manager for any display adapters that are flagged and if you try it in safemode is the screen the same??

If you have an external monitor and have an monitor out port try it on another monitor...if it works OK on an external monitor then you know it's the Laptop screen

Ok, have installed game and it is running as background sound is working but cannott see to go any further to enter key codes, etc.. and actually play. My 11yr old is having a fit because dad can't get it going.

System specs: P4 2.4ghz, 1024mb ddr, XP pro sp2, Nvidea GEforce 4 MX440 64mb ddr, SB LIve, Direct X 9.0c

Have updated all drivers and direct x making sure all A/V protection turned off etc... tried changing the resolution around and playing with video settings all to no avail. Still getting the fuzzy screen of colors and sound only. Seems like a simple setting fix, but just haven't figured it out yet. Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, We recently purchased two T470 laptops. Both of these appear to have display issues when outputting to an external monitor. Text will appear fuzzy/blurry and after a couple of minutes your eyes starts to hurt from trying to focus on it. Has anybody experienced any similar issues? We also have a T470s that is doing the same but it even has blurry text on the built in screen.

After a clean reinstall by sysprepping along the lines of this tutorial, there are a few instances where some parts of my screen are displayed in a fuzzy manner. Fonts look out of focus, the way they do in a screen grab. The rest of the screen is correct.

Here are two examples :

This happens in a small number of dialog boxes of software installers (example #1), but also with the working screen of Driver View, portable version (example #2). Note how the top line of Driver View's screen is rendered correctly.

I suspect either a bad driver or a bad Windows Update. I had some trouble with the latter : Checking Updates getting nowhere, Installing Updates taking ages for a single update, computer forcefully stopped during one install, error not repaired by Microsoft Fixit, Updates uninstalled then reinstalled...

Now my Windows Updates are (seemingly) complete and correct. The computer is just out of Sysprep, with only Windows installed, two user accounts, most drivers in place, almost no application software and data not yet restored.

Windows Update substituted some drivers after I had installed the chipset drivers from Asus' site. During the installation of drivers and Windows Updates, I observed, at one point, the opposite effect from the one I just described : some software installers' dialog boxes would display in-focus fonts, but with a very light, rudimentary font, difficult to read.

On the other hand, the general appearance of Windows has been noticeably en... Read more

I just recently purchased an HIS X1650Pro and I've been desperately trying to get my TV to work as a secondary display but to no avail. I'm using S-Video for the connection and when I boot up my computer, my primary (monitor) display is black but the TV shows the boot-up sequence. Once Windows (XP SP2) loads, the TV goes black and the monitor takes over at my desktop.

I've tried extending the desktop onto the TV in Display Properties but all that happens is the TV flickers for a second. Oddly enough, when I make my TV the primary, my monitor will remain black.

I've used this TV before with my old Radeon 9800 as a secondary display and it worked without a hitch but I can't for the life of me make the X1650 work.

I'm running:

Asus A8N SLI Premium
Windows XP SP2
2gb Ram
HIS X1650Pro

Any help at all would be infinitely appreciated as ATI's tech support is *severely* lacking and so is HIS. Thanks for reading.
