hi i get bsod since a while and mostly while watching videos etc. the dump is attached. i have a dv7 2037ez hp laptop. mobility 4650, amd zm-84 2.3 ghz 4 gb ram. as we know the fan is very loud since ever and the heat problem of a common hp issue exists here too. i had some error cods on bluescreen lie 00...x124 and other i think. sometimes it says hardware error. pls help

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

first thing: this is not my pc, so I have experienced just 1 of this bsod (chronologically the last one: this pc had 2 cd/dvd reader, 1 working and 1 not working, to do some tests, I disconnected the working one, at first start the broken one has worked but it gave me that BSOD).

Another info: after the 30/11 an external graphic card was installed (don't know which driver/version).

All the older BSOD (before the 21/01/2015) was not caused by me. I ask you, gently, to have a look at this dumps and help me to find the problem/s. Thank you

some days ago a friend took me his pc because he had got many BSOD (I posted yesterday about that with no luck), many of this BSOD are happened after I have installed in that pc an ATI HD 3650 PCI.

First test group on this machine (Acer T650-99TZ):
prime95: rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4 (after 2 minutes)
memtest86: many errors whit 2 stick of ram, 0 errors when testing the sticks singularly
Furmark: test passed with no errors (30 minutes)
hdtune: no errors

Second test group on second identical machine (Acer T650-99TZ + hdd, ram and gpu from the first machine)
prime95: rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4 (after 2 minutes)
memtest86: many errors whit 2 stick of ram, 0 error when testing the sticks singularly

Third test group on second and first machine (same hw except for the gpu: here I took out the HD 3650 and used the integrated gpu)
prime95: no errors (in 8 hours)
memtest86: no errors (100% passed)

Ram: 2x1gb 1Rx8 PC2-5300U 555-12 hymp112u64cp8-y5
CPU: Pentium 4 524
Obviously no overclock was made on this pc.
Obviously gpu drivers are up-to-date.

Now i'm trying to donwngrade the drivers of the GPU but I think this won't work, since the problem appear to be an incompatibility between the HD 3650 and the other hw.

I update and save quite a few files each day, and I can see in File History that there are many saved versions for these files.
This would fill up my backup drive fairly quickly, and therefore, I need to reduce 'Keep saved versions' from the default of 'forever' to about 3 months.  But does this mean that all files older than 3 months will be deleted my File History backup?
 What happens to all my files that have only ever been saved once, but are older than 3 months?  Are these retained in File History or deleted?
The forums on File History do no make this very clear.

Okay first of all I would like to say I have been having on going issues for months to almost a year... I have tried everything I can think of... Including wiping harddrives to DoD standards with dban, gparted etc.... I have tried monitering my connections with wireshark...  I have tried several differet anti- (virus and malware) programs including paid version of kaspersky, malwarebytes, bitdefender, eset.....
This problem also has involved some black hat hackers compromising my system and bank account, credit card etc all being hit and continueing to do so... I have switched ISPs , changed hardware, thrown away devices including cell phones and laptops... It seems that they were also backdoored into several of my devices and were using several different methods to continue to spread and infect other devices.. These devices include android, iphone, ipod, ipad, netbook, laptop, smart tv and even my dvd player (java).. I have tried to ask for help and seek help for this and no one can figure it out or think this cant be real.
I have now thrown out all laptops, and all phones at the same time and started from scratch but having issues on a brand new laptop... I am not sure this is the same issue as before... However, I would like and really appreciate if someone could help me out and view my logs and make sure.. because I have been through hell and back with all these issues.. Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005)

Hello everyone

I have had issues with bsods with this machine, since I build this pc. I had it over a half year and found out i had currupted files. I got windows 8 from a shop and installed it. I still have problems with bsod and its driving me crazy now....Hope someone can help me with Analysing these dumps.

btw im from Denmark, so few files may be in danish.

Since 5 months, I got a BSOD when I'm doing some basics things: Looking at Facebook, playing games (even flash games) I've decided after that to make a DualBoot to Windows 8, previously I had Windows 7, There was no BSOD for 3 days, and it began...

What did I make:
Memtest86+ = No errors, runned 4 passes
Tried to use one stick of ram = Worked for almost 1 day.
Swap the sticks of ram in the slots = Worked for 1 month (wtf happened there)
Ran driver verifier = got a blue screen with rdyboost.sys as the error.
Install all the drivers and make updates (Bios, chipset)
I've BSOD while writing this, the error flagged was rdyboost.sys, I think it's the error, but don't know how to delete or deactivate this thing..
Thanks in advice.

I don't have time to look through all of those mini-dumps but the latest ones I have looked at don't seem to be pointing to anything in particular. This might indicate a hardware problem or a buggy/out-of-date driver.

You have some old drivers you should consider updating to Windows 8 64bit versions or un-installing/removing if un-needed:

I have had 107 BSOD's the last two months, and when I sent the computer into the shop to get fixed up, the only diagnoses the geniuses had was that there was nothing wrong with the computer. This Gateway SX2850-33 was bought in mid-December and has been crashing since April 12th.

Hello everyone, I have looked around everywhere to try to sort my problems out but I've had no luck. Now I've decided to bite the bullet and ask for help. I had a computer built about 3 months ago. Everything was fine at first, then I started to get BSOD.

First the errors were due to 'a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor' but now they are going into a more serious 'uncorrectable hardware error'. I'm after potentially pinning down the dodgey component and sending it back, or fixing it - and I'm hoping someone would be kind enough to help. I'll try to provide as much info as I can:

A:3 months of BSOD,

It is much easier to find patterns, etc, when there are more than one crash. We prefer you wait until you have at least two so that if one is corrupt the other probably wont be.
That being said the single log blames BCC 101

For around the past three months I have been getting the bsod. I have changed hds and reformatted twice to load the os but still get this bsod. Whats strange is that the puter may work fine for days and then crash or then start to crash over and over (reformat). I am getting tired of reinstalling the os so is ther anyone here who can read these minidumps and maybe tell me what to look at first, thanks.

For some reason I cant read the minidump files. What errors are you
getting when it bluescreens? When you format are you using the
xp format utility?, if so bad idea, xp does a very poor job at that. If
you had os problems before the format, you will more than likely
have the same problems after the format.

I'm fighting a BSOD for about 50 days now, It's happening randomly in different situations for a minimum of two times daily.

I'm suspecting that my memory is the problem (2x2GB Chaintech APOGEE) as it appears in a weird way in Gigabyte easytune (some times appear as one memory module, other times with different frequency and properties for each module).

I ran Memtest86 with one module at a time and there were no errors.

I also ran the Windows 7 Memory test on both modules with no errors.

One error is caused by Kaspersky.. will check further.. and others will be here to take a look. I would recommend removing it and replacing with MSE or another antivirus

Good afternoon

As the title says, I have been getting BSOD for nearly 2 months and I have tried almost everything to fix it as follows:

- I have reinstalled windows 7 and formatted my harddrive
- Sent the pc to an IT expert for 3 days where he performed all sorts of diagnostics and found nothing to be wrong with it
- Sent it to 2 other IT experts and specifically explained to them that they need to use the pc and make sure to turn it off and on about 3 times before the bsod happens again (which they did do) yet the bsod never happens at any one else's house/workplace (perhaps I have a problem with my actual power supply socket at my room??)
- I have made sure all drivers are up to date
- I have run the command prompt "chkdsk" and it found no problems
- I have turned on the pc in safe mode (making sure to do this on the 2nd or 3rd time using it so as to expect a bsod) and the bsod still happens
- I have turned on the pc with only the essentials (monitor, mouse and keyboard) and it still crashes
- The person I sent it to said that there are no problems with the harddrive, motherboard or RAM and CPU (although I am not sure what to believe anymore)
- I have run a registry cleaner using CCleaner and it still crashed

Please help me, I am not sure what else I can try without throwing the pc in the bin. I'v attached the zipped file with all the info from the sf diagnostic tool hopefully you can help me

Hey, so my computer has been BSODing for about 2 months now and I can't figure out why. The Blue Screen View always displays ntkrnlpa.exe as one of the crash addresses but even after research, I can't figure out what to do or exactly what is causing it, as I know that's a Windows kernel. I don't really know what changed back when it started or what drivers were installed at that time. I originally thought it was an external harddrive I got around that time but I think I bought that after the problems started and I've now noticed that the computer crashes even when the HD's not plugged in. It crashes even when I leave my computer on over night. Here's the Minidump log from the past 2 months:

I don't remember what I was doing with the computer (if anything) when it BSOD-ed last month, but this month I was capturing video from a PVR. For a while I had no trace of BSOD (since 30 July). After a while (few months) it occurs again, today for four times I get BSOD. I made a rar file of the minidump files. To this point, I've replaced the video card and hard drive once, and the RAM twice. So physically it's not any of those.

But I'm still getting crashes when I try to play games, and I can't figure it out. Very frustrating. When I get a crash, it will also crash on startup some of the time.

I would really appreciate some help to get this fixed after months and months of problems!

This belongs to Bytemobile Kernel Network Provider for Bytemobile Optimization Client. Is this some sort of software installed on your system. Try browsing to c:\windows\system32\drivers and changing the extension from .sys to .bak. This will prevent it from loading and should eliminate that error.

Two months ago, I got many BSOD's, and with the help of this forum, the problems were resolved.
Since then, I have not encountered any problems.
Until today. Got a BSOD with a message Bad_Pool_Header
I have not installed any drivers or any software lately. So I do not have a hint what could cause the BSOD.

A:First BSOD since 2 months

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:

There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard! I STRONGLY suggest not using controller drivers older than mid-2012 with SSD's.
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch controllers also.
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.5GHz (Replaced in Jan 2015)
RAM: 2 x 4GB sticks (replaced in March 2015)
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z87-A (SOCKET 1150) (Replaced in Jan 2015)
Graphics: 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Came with computer in 2011)
Storage: 232GB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB ATA Device (SSD)(Replaced in Aug 2014) and 298GB Western Digital WDC WD3200AAJS-22L7A0 (HDD)(Came with computer in 2011, used for storage)
PSU: Corsair CX750 (replaced in April 2015)
Had my computer sicne 2011 and it always worked perfectly. In August 2014 I upgraded to a SSD and put in a newer and better PSU as well as replacing the case. No issues with PC at all and it ran perfectly. In Jan 2015 I had some spare cash and decided to upgrade the CPU and Motherboard. I took the PC to my local shop to have them install these new components for me. They tested it and re-installed windows for me and gave it back. I live my PC on overnight sometimes and when I'd wake up in the morning I'd see that the PC had crashed and restarted. I thought nothing of it and carried on like normal. If you are getting BSOD's & want them analyzed please follow the directions below -

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
** Until a .dmp file is generated, the Minidump folder may not exist.**

*Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl Press Enter.
*Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
*Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
*Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kb) in the drop down box (the 256kb varies).
*Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Had my computer sicne 2011 and it always worked perfectly. In August 2014 I upgraded to a SSD and put in a newer and better PSU as well as replacing the case. No issues with PC at all and it ran perfectly. In Jan 2015 I had some spare cash and decided to upgrade the CPU and Motherboard. I took the PC to my local shop to have them install these new components for me. They tested it and re-installed windows for me and gave it back. I live my PC on overnight sometimes and when I'd wake up in the morning I'd see that the PC had crashed and restarted. I thought nothing of it and carried on like normal. I am facing BSOD problem since 2-3 months. My system has shown BSOD 4-5 timesfor no obvious reasons. I am simply checking my e-mails or some net surfing when BSOD comes up. Messages like 'bad pool header' comes up or 'systems closed to prevent damage to memory'.

I ran sfc scannow as well in DOS but system could not fix corrupted files.

1. Remove all but one stick of RAM from your computer (this will be RAM stick #1), and run Memtest86 again, for 7 passes.
Be sure to note the RAM stick, use a piece of tape with a number, and note the motherboard slot.

2. If RAM stick #1 has errors, repeat the test with RAM stick #2 in the same motherboard slot.
If RAM stick #2 passes, this indicates that RAM stick #1 may be bad. If you want to be absolutely sure, re-test RAM stick #1 in another known good slot.

Had been having BSOD problem for 6months+ already. Don't really cared much but it seems like it's getting worse now. Hope anyone here is willing to help me with it..

I always gets 3 type of BSOD problem which are PAGE_FAULT_IN_NOW_PAGED_AREA, BAD_POOL_CALLER & SRQL_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Before I started this thread I've googled and found someone saying changing a new RAM would do the trick but after I've changed, BSOD is still popping out.

I bought a new computer a few months ago, it never worked properly and even after i sent it back to the shop multiple times it has never been properly fixed. The BSOD happen at random times, sometimes it will go two weeks without issues and other times it will crash 2 or 3 times in one night. I've looked through a few forums to try and find a solution but i've had no luck, i've given up trying to solve it myself as i have no idea what could be wrong with it at this point.

Well Ive had the BSOD but finally after sorting out the issue & changing the RAM I had no BSOD issues for few days but this has started again & the error I get is "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", which according to me is the driver issues..!!!

Can anybody please specify me the solution..???

My friend helped me build my PC around two years ago (build attached as a jpeg)

Problems started with a faulty RAM card causing BSOD 18 months ago, it was replaced but the bluescreens soon returned.

Since then I have tried a full system reinstall (around 6 months ago) but that only stopped them for a few weeks, and memory testing and HDD testing showed no problems. My only idea is that it could be the motherboard?

The bluescreen is always accompanied by a loud noise from the speakers, as if a cd is jammed in a 0.001 second loop (NRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR), and preceded by 10 seconds of freezing in whatever programme is open.

Windows 7
What was original installed OS on system? - Windows 7
Full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)
Age of system (hardware) - 2 years
Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? - 6 months

My Dell Inpiron 6000 has been inactive for about 6 months. A friend's pup chewed through the power supply cord, and since I was living with someone who had a PC, I put off getting a new power cord. Everything was fine the last time I used the laptop.

Finally got the new PSC. Plugged it in this afternoon and immediately got a BSOD when XP was trying to load.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

I have been getting random restarts and BSOD for 2 months, but in the last 2 weeks it has been fine. It just started again today and this time i decided to post it up. I have run memory diognostics tools and so problems there.

It restarts very randomly so i cant even be specific, however i have deleted previous(very old) dump files but i do have some of the recent ones.

Start with remove Avast and replace it with MSE.
Reinstall your VLC player since there are lot errors reported on WER. (update to newer version if any).

Update these drivers:

nvhda64v.sys --> nVidia HDMI Audio Device (nForce chipset driver)
Rt64win7.sys --> Realtek NIC

If the problem persist , test your RAM with memtest86 at least 7 passes.

This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the

So I have been having random bsods every 5 to 12 hours for the past week before this week it's been about every two or three days most of the time after the computer crashes even though it says that it is writing a memory dump when I go to look for it, it's not there so I can't find out what is wrong I have noticed that ntsokrnl.exe is a reaccurring error when it does write a dump I've had many many different errors I have had DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO I've also had NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM I'll start listing them from now on and updating the forum post any help will be useful I have also replaced my memory done mem checks did a disk check reinstalled windows multiple times I'm at a complete loss here is the one dump I have been able to get

Analysis:It is difficult to find patterns with only one .dmp file. Yours indicates a hardware issue, which is consistent with the information you have supplied.

You do not say how you did a memory or hard disk check. If you used Memtest86+, you may need to let it run for more passes or run it again to check for errors. It does not always find errors on the first set of passes or if not enough passes were run. Further reading: Finicky RAM.
Run some hardware checks.If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.

If you have an SSD, make sure the following are up to date:SSD firmware

since beginning of 2011 I have system shutdowns that partially come with a BSOD. It happens randomly and is not depending on specific programs running. It also might not happen for a week or so and then out of a sudden several times within an hour.
I tried to solve the problem by formatting my C-Drive and do a fresh reinstallation without success. Updating graphics drivers did not help either. Running Memtest+ and hard drive diagnosis tools did not show a hardware related problem.

Anyone who can help?

I am working on a friend's system which is a Gateway sx2841. It has been having random BSODs and it is referencing ntoskrnl.exe. It has Windows 7 Home Premium OEM and 6GBs of ram that seems to be testing fine as far as I know. I am also attaching the reports if someone could please look at them. Thank you.

The logs report a disk hardware issue. Please run checkdisk to confirm it.


Run CHKDSK /R /F from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt.

Do this for each hard drive on your system.

When it tells you it can't do it right now - and asks you if you'd like to do it at the next reboot - answer Y (for Yes) and press Enter.

Then reboot and let the test run.

It may take a while for it to run, but keep an occasional eye on it to see if it generates any errors.

See "CHKDSK LogFile" below in order to check the results of the test.
B- Elevated Command Prompt:

Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)

At the top of the Search Box, right click on Cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator"

Go to Start and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter

Expand the Windows logs heading, then select the Application log file entry.

Double click on the Source column header.

Scroll down the list until you find the Chkdsk entry (wininit for Win7) (winlogon for XP).

Originally, there was no windows in my laptop since I bought the DOS version. But the first OS that I installed was win 8 pro and I switched back to win 7 ultimate at some time and finally switched back to win 8 pro. Both are full retail version.

Age of system: 8 months

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @2.4GHz (Quadcore but my dxdiag says that I have 8CPUs?)

MotherBoard: I tried with CPU-z but it says invalid in motherboard field. So I googled and found out that I can use cmd to find it. Below is some command that I type through google. Not sure which one is my motherboard model.

I've been getting BSOD since early october. I already tried to use system restore back to previous month before I got BSOD and still getting it.
I've tried to re install windows several times and still get this BSOD.
There was a time I was just freshly installed the windows and in the middle of installing drivers of my laptop and I got BSOD.
I noticed I only get BSOD if I connect to the internet, specifically while browsing or downloading. I never get BSOD while being offline.
So here I am, finally given up on how to solve this and search for help from expert.

Hello everyone,

So, I built a PC last year and it has been running (relatively) fine for most of the time. However, about 2 months ago (around the time I bought a new video card) I began getting BSOD. Most of the time, I get these crashes while playing games. Specifically, it would often crash when I was playing Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Yesterday, I updated my video card drivers, and today I got 2 BSODs withing roughly 2 hours of playing games online. This is the most frequent amount of BSODs I have seen since building the PC, and I believe now they must be driver related.

A few weeks ago I downloaded a program called BlueScreenView to keep track of the BSOD error codes. Checking out the codes I see 3 different errors so I'm not sure if they are all interrelated or what. I'll copy/past the error codes at the bottom of this post. If anybody has any ideas for me, I'd really appreciate it.

I have had off and on BSOD on a customer built computer (not by me) over the last few months and I am at the point where I can't figure it out, so I have come here looking for advice.

Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL.
Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features3D Vision Control Driver
3D Vision Driver
Graphics Driver
HD Audio Driver
nvidia Update
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:
Also install Asmedia USB 3.0 Driver V1.14.3.0 from ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download SABERTOOTH Z77

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :
Double click to open it.
Click this button only:

If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Let us know the results.

EDIT: 12/24/2010 - SOLVED!

Hey guys!, I'm posting here cause I'm really desperate. For 6 months I've been getting random BSOD, some of them I already solved by changing my old memory stick. When I thought it was ok, more BSOD... I really don't know what to do anymore, I already tested my news memory sticks with memtest and tried to verify my drivers with verifier, please help me to solve this, I'm getting mad, cause I think I tried everything...
some of the BSOD that I've got are:
*pfn_list_corrupt - solved changing my older mem stick (2 months ago)
*memory management - appeared after I update my windows, but I undo this update and it didn't happened ultil now (1 week)
*PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA "STOP: 0x00000050" - I think I solved this creating a new pagefile in another HD, after that it didn't happened until now (2 days)
*SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION "0x0000003b" - this one started a month ago, but it's very random, it can happen one time a week or even a month :S, but still a problem for me

A:Random [BSOD] for a few months

Remove Alcohol/Daemon software and uninstall its driver (sptd.sys) with this tools --> DuplexSecure - Downloads
Because sptd.sys have some issue with Windows 7 and for alternative software you may use MagicISO.

Then while troubleshoot your problem, it's better to remove Avira and replace it with MSE. You may go back to Avira after the BSOD gone but that's not recommended by me.

Update these drivers:

BS_I2cIo.sys Sun Jun 15 23:45:18 2008 --> BIOSTAR I2C I/O driver
Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 01:04:13 2009 --> Realtek NIC driver

Hello guys!

I have bought a new pc 4 months ago, and very soon I started to have BSOD, IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. File Netio.sys is detected as possible couse.

My specs are:

Windows 7 32-bit
Intel Core 2 quad CPU Q8300 2.50 Ghz
4 GB ram
Nvidia GTS 250
Realtek PCIe GBE family controller (network adapter)
ntel? P43/ICH10

I have installed NOD 32, if that has anything to do with this...

Please help, I have tried many "solutions" during this time, including registry cleaners, updating and rolling back drivers, windows update... Wierd thing is that some of these solutions actually helped, or to be precise, BSOD didn't show up for some time... But it always comes back again, like a terminator...

Please help!

I've had several BSOD after a clean install of windows 7 home 32 full in attempt to fix a previous BSOD (must have been for a different reason). It can't be a hardware issued because I'm dual-booting xp home 32 oem with no problem, which I didn't do either till after the clean install of 7. I've also ran DLG Diagnostic (Western Digital) and Windows Memory Diagnostic. I've done a selective start-up, updated drivers (which was hard because the motherboard only has drivers up to vista), scanned for viruses in safe mode. The computer (custom) belongs to my church, which is [atleast] 3 years old with no problems till about 6 months ago. The event viewer led to MSE, so I changed it to AVG , now it says something about shadow copies aborted and sxstrace (it didn't produce a minidump for this BSOD so I'll be sure to post it next time).

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

- CPU (Processor) type and clock speed
- RAM (memory) installed, its configuration (for example, '2 x 2GB RAM sticks'), and the Make & Part number (for example, 'Kingston, KVR800D2N5/2G')
- Power Supply size (in Watts), Make & Model number (this should be on a sticker on the power supply)
- Hard disk size(s), Make & Model number (for example, '500GB, Western Digital WD5000AADS')
- CD/DVD drive type, Make & Model number

Hi, I am getting this BSOD from past 6-8 months, i switched over to win 7 from XP (in XP also i suffered same problem), few days the Win 7 had no problem but after that every time i start my comp i get at least 4-5 times BSOD n the system keeps on going to safe mode.
